Resumen

Tajik poetry deviated from its mainstream with the victory of the communist revolution. The imposition of Russian language and the new communist literature made Tajik poetry to take influence from the works of Russian romantic poets and to have new themes. Meanwhile, it benefited from the ancient Persian poets and one can see the rhetorical figures such as metaphor, simile, conflict, pun, Īhām, proverb, husn-i ta'lil (good reason), imagery and paradox in the works of Tajik poets. Additionally, Bīdel's poem has also had a clear influence on the poetry of some contemporary poets. Tajik poetry is very close to the informal language of the people, and in these poems, we encounter words that are specific to the Tajik dialect. The first Persian she'r-e now (new poetry) in Central Asia was written by Sadriddin Ayni.

In Tajik poetry, we occasionally encounter with recurrences, the nostalgia of the missed glory, the oppression of the nation, and the unwanted fate of their ancestors. In these poems, the rely on emotion and content, and the epic and passionate tone prevail other poetic performances. The present study gives a general overview of the poetry of some Tajik poets.

Keywords: Poetry, Tajikistan, Tajik, Persian language

_________________________________________

DOI > https://doi.org/10.24071/joll.2019.190206

Resumen
This article examines a bilingual anthology edited by the authors and published in 2016. It argues that the process of editing an anthology of contemporary poetry with multiple translators is a form of re-writing that not only introduces new writers into the target-language poetic system, but also recasts their positions in the poetic system of the source culture by giving them new readers who have no or few preconceptions about the writers' place in that system. Anthologizing operates in tandem with translating in this instance, and we additionally use the notions of inference and cognitive stylistics to discuss the particular habitus of academic translators who are not poets, and the opportunities those approaches offer to produce a creative translation. Style is an appropriate lens through which to consider poems included in this anthology because it is a contested question in contemporary French poetic practice. The article therefore treats the question of présence that this special issue addresses in three ways. It discusses, on the most literal level, the new or more visible presence that French poetry can acquire in the anglophone context through translation and anthologies. Moreover, it examines the ways in which the presence of new or decontextualized voices affects poetic systems. Finally, it considers whether an approach to translation that sees it as an embodied, interpretative process may allow some access to the présence of the 'original' poetic work.

Resumen
Abstract The field of poetry and poetics has been revitalized by a decade and a half of close attention to many of its enduring premises and assumptions. Three new books by Jasper Bernes, Margaret Ronda, and Heather Milne show how US poetry from 1945 to the present responds to the changing conditions of historical capitalism. Departing from older periodizing narratives anchored in the shift from modernism to postmodernism, these books uncover the poetic histories that emerge in tandem with changes in economic structures and political regimes.

Resumen
This article mainly deals with the history of the contemporary Polish poetry for children (end of XX century — beginning of XXI). The author shows how contemporary children’s poetry is linked with the traditional one (and also some folklore forms), characterizes the creative styles of several contemporary poets (J. Twardowski, Z. Beszczyńska, J. Kulmowa, W. Oszajca), and points out several breaks from the tradition. The author names two main streams in children’s contemporary poetry as “Lyric poetry” and “Playing with words”, and speaks in detail of their creative approaches and readers’ pragmatics. Especially interesting is the comparison of contemporary children’s poetry samples and the classical ones (Jan Brzechwa, Janina Porazińska, Maria Konopnicka, Ewa Szelburg-Zarembina, Julian Tuwim), and also linking with the tradition of religious and ritual poetry. The authors looks at contemporary poetry for children from diacena have taken place.

Resumen
In this polemical piece, the author attempts to diagnose the state of the art of poetry in the context of the global market as a dominant social value system. He finds that poetry as a fundamental human need for freedom, is based on the concept of “freedom of meaning”, not “freedom” of the market. The “free market” is for him a misnomer which conceals the contemporary global dependence on profit and a hectic way of life in the pursuit of profit. This is to the detriment of poetry which while never profitable contains the seeds of what it is to be human. However, while poetry does not (co-)exist with the market, even this fact is worthy of being recorded in poetry. Thus poets have to deal with the contemporary situation by re-inventing themselves, and finding new (modern, even market) means of solving poetic questions, following the advice of Vasko Popa and the example of the poet of the advertisement, Dušan Radović.

Resumen
ABSTRACTThis paper explores the relationship between poetry and leadership – in particular, how business leaders might leverage poetry in practice. Drawing on the theoretical lenses of logic of appropriateness and ambiguity, we suggest a conceptual model to understand the multilayered meaning of poetry, noting that poetry has four layers of meaning: the superficial meaning, the poet's evocative meaning, the reader's recasting into a modern situation, and the recipient's interpretation. Using the storytelling research method, we collected leadership narrative stories that indicate poetry as an effective communication tool in practicing leadership. From these data, we identify four approaches that leaders use to apply the multilayered meaning of poetry in contemporary business practice: drawing lessons from poets' experience through critical interpretation of the poem, inspiring leaders' heroic spirits, guiding leaders' rules of behavior, and adopting poetry as a tactic to influence others. Our study contributes to the argument of ambiguity as a source of intelligence and illuminates how poetry as an artistic form of story facilitates contemporary leadership practice in light of the logic of appropriateness framework.

Resumen
This research deals with the mask technique in contemporary Arabic poetry in terms of its concept, spread, characteristics, and the creativity of Arab poets in using it, to express their feelings and thoughts in a time when harsh political and social conditions prevailed, and in light of the lack of freedom of expression in the Arab world. The mask technique is a literary concept that expresses the poet's use of terms and visual images to express his feelings and thoughts in a way that makes them have multiple and different connotations. This poetic style reflects the poet's ability to express in an abstract and symbolic manner, creating deep moral layers in the poetic text. The use of the mask technique in modern Arabic poetry includes many elements, such as metaphor, simile, symbolism, and allegory. The poet relies on these elements to express his feelings and thoughts in a way that makes the reader interact with the text and search for deeper meanings in it. The mask technique is considered one of the literary techniques that distinguishes modern Arabic poetry and adds artistic and cultural value to it. This technique is used to explore different themes such as love, home, identity, freedom, daily life, and social issues. The mask technique in modern Arabic poetry represents an artistic means that allows the poet to express his thoughts and feelings in an innovative and attractive way, and enhances the strength of the poetic text and its appeal to readers

Resumen
Abstract: Although it may seem an impossible task to offer a panorama of contemporary Brazilian poetry, we will discuss a selection of poets who possibly epitomize the most significant current trends. We start with a brief presentation of four well-regarded authors whose works represent major poetic currents: Augusto de Campos, Francisco Alvim, Armando Freitas Filho and Adélia Prado. We then comment on excerpts from a few important younger poets, whose works embrace several different tones and styles, from indigenous symbolic mythology to crude or ironic testimonials of life in the big city, from melodious lyrical intimacy to a more social perspective. For the second part of this article, we have chosen Paulo Henriques Britto, Josely Vianna Baptista, Ricardo Aleixo, Carlito Azevedo, Eucanaã Ferraz and Ana Martins Marques. We hope this preliminary selection may awaken the interest of future readers to the enormous variety and richness of Brazilian poetry.

Resumen
Environment today is a multifaceted term. The problem of environment is one of the most discussed problems in contemporary times. Environment has become the most discussed topic today. It is being discussed in many academic and non-academic contexts, for example, environment and society, green aesthetics etc. A new form of environment is emerging in Hindi literature, especially in contemporary Hindi literature. Contemporary poetry is composed by being compelled by the deep-pressures of thoughts. Here the normal human has come in the centre, ending the debate of great human and small human. In fact, the poetry of every era tries to define the human of its era. Therefore, in the creation of poetry, it is necessary to study the changing state of mind due to the effects of continuous circumstances. In a broad sense, it can be said that the environment is the basic inspiration of contemporary poetic creation. Abstract in Hindi Language:
