This thesis is focused on the understanding and development of novel materials for valence-change memories (VCMs), a type of resistive switching memories in which the memory storage mechanism is based on internal redox reactions. VCMs are in essence electrochemical systems. Their implementation in integrated electronic circuits relies on a voltage (or current) to measure and operate the memory, but their functionality is highly dependent on the chemical properties of the materials constituting the memory. In this work we present how the mixed ionic-electronic conducting La2NiO4+δ compound offers an interesting playground for VCM applications due to its intrinsic bulk oxygen-ion conducting properties. We have successfully prepared La2NiO4+δ in the form of highly oriented thin films on SrTiO3 single crystal substrates using pulsed-injection chemical vapour deposition (PiMOCVD). Post-annealing treatments in oxidizing/reducing atmospheres allow tuning the oxygen content and the p-type semiconducting properties of La2NiO4+δ due to a self-doping mechanism. The obtained oxygen over-stoichiometry in the 0 ≤ δ ≤ 0.08 range induced a variation of the film resistivity between 5.7 Ω.cm and 5.3x10-3 Ω.cm for hydrogen or oxygen-annealed samples, respectively. The optimized La2NiO4+δ thin films have been used as a base for the microfabrication of metal/La2NiO4+δ/metal heterostructures. The important role of the metal/oxide junction in interface-type VCMs is discussed in detail. In particular, an ohmic contact is obtained with La2NiO4+δ when using a high work function metal such as Pt, while rectifying contact properties are obtained when using Ti due to the presence of a spontaneously-formed TiOx interlayer (~8 nm) at the Ti/L2NO4 interface. An asymmetric Pt/La2NiO4+δ/Ti heterojunction has been selected as a first prototype to assess the memory capabilities of a La2NiO4+δ-based memristive device. A continuous bipolar analogue-type memory behaviour has been measured, together with strong multilevel programing capabilities when operated in pulsed mode. In addition, the promising results offered by this prototypical device have been extended for the first time to La2NiO4+δ/LaNiO3 bilayers, showing memory relaxation properties, which are potentially interesting for short-term memory and filtering applications in neuromorphic-based computational hardware

The objective of this thesis is to propose a step to increase knowledge based on an experimental approach coming from Car-Driver-Environment systems. In this context, the difficulty resides in the construction of the experiment and the statistical analysis of the MultiFactor and MultiVariate database. The analysis of the experimental data is based on a sequence of five stages : 1) data characterisation, 2) data coding, 3) data table building, 4) data table analysis and 5) result presentation and allows to study the effects of the factors on the measured variables and the relations between the variables. The data are collected during an experimentation in which the driver interacts with other vehicles on a highway in order to study its behavior when overtaking situations. Only the objective data coming from the simulator were analyzed. This methodology in 5 stages is mainly based on space-time windowing to characterize the multidimensional signals and on the Multiple Correspondence Analysis. In a first time, the approach is descriptive, to check the signals and not to make hypothesis on the database

Driving activity is both widespread and very complex. Among the most frequently executed manœuvres we identified the lane change (LC) with insertion between traffic vehicles. Current improvements in the field of driving automation are progressively paving the way for the gradual automation of the various components of the driving activity, including, among other things, lane changes.Our purposes in this thesis work in cognitive engineering were (1) to better understanding and contribution to the modeling of the driver's cognitive processes at work when making decisions and performing LC in manual driving (especially regarding the subjective risk assessment), in order to feed the development of the gls{COSMODRIVE} model (cites{bellet2003}). (2) Design and evaluate a textit{Human-like} automation capable of executing a LC as a human driver. This second objective also makes it possible to address questions about the acceptance of the behaviour of this type of automations. (3) Study the possible effects induced by the use of this LC automation, on decisions and judgments regarding lane change situations in subsequent manual driving situations.To achieve these objectives, we set up a research protocol (on the V-HCD driving simulation platform) divided into three intertwined experimental phases and involving the same participants for each of them. Participants were first invited to make decisions on LC and to assess the situational risk and acceptability of a hypothetical automated LC system. Then, in the second phase, they were invited to use and evaluate textit{Human-like} LC automation we designed for this experiment. Finally, in the last phase, participants were instructed to drive again manually and to make LC decisions in driving situations that were specially configured to approach their decision threshold (estimated from a direct analysis of their decisions during the first manual driving phase).The results obtained led us to identify a traffic merging strategy within the LC manœuvre allowing us, on the basis of the envelope zones theory, to explain the structure of the LC decisions. Concerning the human-like LC automation we found a better acceptance of the system by the participants than expected, even from the most reluctants to the autonomous vehicle. We also showed a decrease in the risk estimation of the situation and the manoeuvre when it was performed by the automation. We additionnaly validated the textit{Human-like} aspect of our automation's LC trajectory. Finally, we were able to highlight the occurence of an effect induced by the use of the automation during later manual driving LC situations. This induced effect was resulting in a lowering of the decision threshold as well as the risk assessment of the LC manoeuvre to be executed. These results suggest that the human-centred design approach to driving automation systems design is promising in terms of technology acceptance and adoption. However they may present some potential induced "side" effects that will require deeper investigation

Spatial dynamics in economics can be characterized by their dual nature. Certain of them belong to the market, while others are immaterial. Our objective is to propose a synthesis of this duality. This synthesis is based in the distinction of space and territory. The former appears as shaped by market force s, while the latter is the support of immaterial dynamics of creation of technology. This distinction of space and territory is on two sorts of factors of production; existing and latent ones, which have to be revealed to become active this last category has a pure organizational nature. The ability of revelation of these latent factors depends on the capacity of cooperation of the economic actors, which leads to the combination of different knowledges. Such cooperations enable the formation of networks and, in this approach, territory appears as a particular type of network, founded on the geographical proximity of the economic actors. By this distinction between space and territory, we try to explain the different phases of the semi-conductor history, explaining the capacities of innovation on a territorial basis

Using the example of diversification in electronic components, this report illustrates how intelligence of the market supports this decision and how it is of use in operational processes which are pursued. Progressive improvement in the various stages of the information cycle is reliant upon the industrial climate, the culture of a company and on the resources available. This take-off in improvement continues to show that the success of bringing in a surveillance cell is centered around two complementary logics. .

La première partie détaille les travaux relatifs à l'élaboration et la caractérisation thermique de ces nouveaux composites. On y présente les différentes voies d'élaboration des composites (dispersion, compression uniaxiale, isostatique) associées aux différents types de graphite (graphite naturel expansé (GNE), graphite synthétique) investigués au cours de cette thèse. On y retrouve également les résultats liés à la campagne de caractérisation thermique de ces composites permettant de mettre en exergue l'impact du graphite sur les propriétés conductrices des matériaux étudiés. A partir de ces résultats, des études de modélisation de l'évolution de la conductivité thermique ont pu être entrepris afin d'approfondir la compréhension de l'effet du graphite (quantité, taille de particules) sur la conductivité effective des composites.
La deuxième partie présente essentiellement les dispositifs de caractérisation thermique et les modèles thermocinétiques associés qui ont du être développés et adaptés aux spécificités des matériaux nouvellement élaborés. Cela concerne principalement les matériaux élaborés par compression, matériaux difficilement reproductible et possédant des propriétés orthotropes. La caractérisation de ce type de matériaux s'avère très délicate et pour le moins fastidieuse. C'est pourquoi nous nous sommes attachés à développer et adapter les moyens de caractérisation existants afin de permettre la caractérisation thermique complète d'un matériau conducteur orthotrope à partir d'une seule mesure sur un seul échantillon
