Resumen
Web services are the main pillar of the Service Oriented Computing (SOC) paradigm which enables application integration within and across business organizations. One of the most important features of Web services is the idea of choreography which captures collaborative processes involving multiple services. In this context, compatibility analysis of choreography is a central point to investigate. The compatibility of a choreography means the capability of a set of Web services to interact by exchanging messages in a safe way. Whether a set of services are compatible depends not only on their sequences of messages but also on quantitative properties like timed properties. In this paper, the authors investigate a model checking based approach that checks the compatibility of a choreography in which Web services support asynchronous timed communications.

Resumen
This paper proposes an approach to checking behavioral compatibility between Web services. If Web service B can be used in replacement of Web service A in such a way that the replacement is transparent to clients, Web service B is compatible to Web service A. We use state machines with guarded transitions to specify behaviors of Web services. To check compatibility between two Web services, we propose an extended version of the conventional methods rule, which has been used in object-oriented paradigm. To support our approach, we have implemented a tool. First, the tool constructs a state machine for a Web service whose behavior is expressed in WSDL and WSCI. Then, the tool can verify compatibility between Web services by using the extended methods rule.

Resumen
For automatically composing Web services in a correct manner, information about their behaviors (an abstract model) has to be published in a repository. This abstract model must be sufficient to decide whether two, or more, services are compatible (the composition is possible) is possible without including any additional information that can be used to disclose the privacy of these services. The compatibility between two Web services can be based either on some generic properties (e.g. deadlock freeness of the composite Web service) or on a specific property expressed with a formal logic. In this paper, the authors address this problem by considering these two kinds of compatibility criteria. The first criterion is defined by different variants of the well-known soundness property on open workflow nets. These properties guarantee the absence of livelocks, deadlocks and other anomalies that can be formulated without domain knowledge. The second criterion is defined by the designer formally by using the Linear Temporal Logic. The proposed approach addresses the automatic abstraction of Web services and the checking of their compatibility using their abstract models only. To abstract Web services, the authors use the symbolic observation graph (SOG) approach that preserves necessary information for service composition and hides private information. The authors show how the SOG can be adapted and used so that the verification of generic and specific compatibility criteria can be performed on the composition of the abstract models of Web services instead of the original composite service.

Resumen
Services enable the transformation of the World Wide Web as distributed interoperable systems interacting beyond organizational boundaries. Service licensing enables broader usage of services and a means for designing business strategies and relationships. A service license describes the terms and conditions for the use and access of the service in a machine interpretable way that services could be able to understand. Service-based applications are largely grounded on composition of independent services. In that scenario, license compatibility is a complex issue, requiring careful attention before attempting to merge licenses. The permissions and the prohibitions imposed by the licenses of services would deeply impact the composition. Thus, service licensing requires a comprehensive analysis on composition of these rights and requirements conforming to the nature of operations performed and compensation of services used in composition. In this paper, we analyze the compatibility of service license by describing a matchmaking algorithm. Further, we illustrate the composability of service licenses by creating a composite service license that is compatible with the licenses being composed.

Resumen
Web services composition (WSC) has an enormous potential for the organizations in the B2B area. In fact, different services collaborate through the exchange of messages to implement complex business processes. BPEL is one of the most used languages to develop such cooperation. However, it has been proved that its use is complex and can require some expertise in XML syntax. Even its graphical representation is not evident to handle. This is why the authors propose to model Web services using oWF-nets, a subclass of Petri nets, and then, to translate them to BPEL. Whilst, a WSC is with added value only if the involved services are compatible. So in this context, across the translation proposed the researchers develop a verification layer of the WSC compatibility. Hence, they propose a framework named D&A4WSC which allows to model the WSC by oWF-nets, to check their compatibility with the model checker NuSMV and to translate them if they are compatible in BPEL processes using the oWFN2BPEL compiler. D&A4WSC permits, furthermore, to formally analyze a BPEL process.

Resumen
Interactive TV has started to penetrate broadcasting markets, providing a new user experience through novel services to subscribers and new revenue opportunities for companies. Personalization and intelligent behavior, such as proactive content delivery are considered key features for the services of the future TV. However, most of the work in this area is limited to personalization of electronic program guides and advanced program recommendation. In this article, the authors adopt a more horizontal approach and describe the application of concepts, practices and modern Web trends to the TV domain in the context of the POLYSEMA platform. A key characteristic of this approach is the formal modeling of multimedia and user semantics that enables novel TV services. Specifically, Semantic Web methodologies are employed (e.g., ontologies and rules) while compatibility with the MPEG-7 standard is also pursued. The paper describes the overall architecture of the platform, provides implementation details and investigates business issues.

Resumen
Modeling Web services is a major step towards their automated analysis. One of the important parameters in this modeling, for the majority of Web services, is the time. A Web service can be presented by its behavior which can be described by a business protocol representing the possible sequences of message exchanges. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, automated analysis of timed Web services (e.g., compatibility and replaceability checking) is very difficult and in some cases it is not possible with the presence of implicit transitions (internal transitions) based on time constraints. The semantics of the implicit transitions is the source of this difficulty because most of well-known modeling tools do not express this semantics (e.g., epsilon transition on the timed automata has a different semantics). This paper presents an approach for converting any protocol containing implicit transitions to an equivalent one without implicit transitions before performing analysis.

Resumen
The concept of Web service composition has undergone many evolutions and improvements including especially the apparition of new category of services, on which the composition process is made, called “Data-As-A-Service (DaaS). However, privacy is still among the key challenges that keep hampering DaaS service composition solution. Indeed services may follow different, conflicting privacy specifications with respect to the data they use and provide within a composition. In this paper, the authors propose an approach for privacy- aware composition of DaaS services. The authors’ approach allows verifying the compatibility of privacy specifications of services involved in a composition. In the case when any composition will be incompatible in terms of privacy, the authors introduce a novel approach based on negotiation to reach compatibility of concerned services. The negotiation approach is cautiously operated with without any privacy damaging of services. The authors validate the applicability of their proposal through a set of experiments.

E-government generally refers to the utilization of IT, ICTs, and other web-based communication technologies to improve and develop the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery in the public sector. Most of the government organizations in Nepal have their own websites and their website has been used as a tool for making information easy to find, for ease of obtaining services, designed with mobile in mind, notify citizens about their recent activities and notices, gather feedback, inter- and intra-organizational information exchange and many more. Since Local Government have started to use their websites as an information center, effective website design and functionality is very important for providing services to the citizens. Developing countries like Nepal are lagging behind in e-government adoption compared to developed countries. During the last 10-15 years, governments from all over the world have tried to take advantage of IT and the Internet to improve governmental administration and communication with their people. Also, Nepal has tried its best to achieve this. As IT offers the opportunity for the government to better deliver information and services and to interact with citizens, businesses, and other government stakeholders in an effective manner. The discrepancy in e-government implementation between regions in Nepal is huge due to a number of reasons, including management, infrastructure, and human factors that vary across this heterogeneous country.

Our lifestyle has changed and keeps changing with emerging software and hardware technologies. In the same way, mobile devices are changing the way people accessing the Internet. More users have changed from using desktop computers to mobile devices. A mobile device such as smartphones and tablets are widely used devices in accessing the Internet all over the world. From an early investigation, it is found that although mobile devices are highly flexible, accessible, and convenient, their usage to access websites is still average. The objective of this study is to conceptualize the factors that drive users to access websites through mobile devices. This study presents the scenario and the current situation of mobile web usage among mobile device users. It further critically discusses the role of three constructs namely, convenience, compatibility, and media richness in explaining the user’s intention to use the mobile web. The study adopts the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to understand what factors affect usage intention of the mobile web, an important topic for current and future research. The limitations lie in the depth of investigation where the empirical investigation should be conducted in future studies to prove the findings of this conceptual study. This study aims to explain the factors that will influence the intention to access mobile websites. Determining those factors will help web designers to develop mobile web pages that will be preferred by its users. Improving user’s experience of accessing the web through mobile devices will enable web service providers to offer web services more effectively that will satisfy the needs of the users.

Resumen
The benefits of e-government services depend on the number of citizens who take advantage of them. The purpose of this quantitative, correlational research study was to determine barriers to e-government use as perceived by citizens at the municipal level in Mexico. The technology acceptance model (TAM), the diffusion of innovations (DOI) theory, and models of web trust formed the theoretical framework of the study. Several hypotheses tested the relation of demographic variables, TAM, DOI, and web trust constructs to the intention of using e-government services of 149 taxpayers of the city of Chihuahua, Mexico, who did not to use the e-government services for payment provided by the government of their municipality. The findings of this study show that trust in the Internet, trust in government, perceptions of convenience, perceptions of compatibility, access to the Internet, perceptions of ease of use, and perceptions of relative advantages are related to the intention to use e-government services. Conversely, awareness of the existence of e-government services, income level, family structure, age, literacy level, computer literacy level, gender, and possession of bankcards are not individually related to the intention to use e-government services of those persons who made face-to-face payments at the treasury office.

Resumen
Emerging Internet of Things (IoT)/Machine-to-Machine (M2M) systems require a transparent access to information and services through a seamless integration into the Future Internet. This integration exploits infrastructure and services found on the Internet by the IoT. On the one hand, the so-called Web of Things aims for direct Web connectivity by pushing its technology down to devices and smart things. On the other hand, the current and Future Internet offer stable, scalable, extensive, and tested protocols for node and service discovery, mobility, security, and auto-configuration, which are also required for the IoT. In order to integrate the IoT into the Internet, this work adapts, extends, and bridges using IPv6 the existing IoT building blocks (such as solutions from IEEE 802.15.4, BT-LE, RFID) while maintaining backwards compatibility with legacy networked embedded systems from building and industrial automation. Specifically, this work presents an extended Internet stack with a set of adaptation layers from non-IP towards the IPv6-based network layer in order to enable homogeneous access for applications and services.

Resumen
As part of web services life-cycle, providers frequently face decision about changes without a clear understanding of the impact on their clients. The identification of clients’ consumption patterns constitutes invaluable information to support more effective decisions. In this paper, the authors present a framework that supports the discovery of service usage profiles, to bring awareness on the distinct groups of consumers, and their usage characterization in terms of detailed service functionality. The framework encompasses a process to cluster client applications and derive usage profiles. The paper also discusses how usage profiles can help to access the real impact on clients of incompatible changes performed over service descriptions, and presents a usage-oriented compatibility assessment algorithm. Experimental results are presented for both the profile discovery process and profile-based compatibility analysis.

Resumen
Land has an essential role in any society, either as one of the most important capitals of mankind or as a place for people's life and activities. Therefore, registration of ownership and land use rights in a formal system is a major issue. In different countries, Cadastre systems can register extent, rights, restrictions and responsibilities related to land parcels. Many organizations such as municipality, tax and banks need to this information for planning and decision making. Considering the needs for land information by different organizations, access to cadastre data gains a lot of importance. Despite this importance, access to cadastre information encounter with different challenges such as differences in platforms or data structures and access to semantic and geometric data. The main goal of this research is to overcome these challenges and to improve the interoperability in sharing and accessing 3D cadastre data and challenges. This paper investigates capabilities of current 3D Spatial Web Services: WFS, WVS, WTS and W3DS as well as advantages of using these 3D services for access to 3D cadastre data. The authors also combined the legal classes of LADM with geometrical classes of CityGML for transferring the semantic and geometric cadastre data. Finally, some prospects of using 3D Web Services will be illustrated through implementation the scenarios. The most important advantages of using 3D Spatial Web Services in cadastre are on the fly construction and on demand presentation of 3D cadastral model, facilitating of access to legal and descriptive cadastre information, no necessity to user's awareness of data structure in cadastre database and compatibility with different levels of users.

Resumen
In the change management context, handling web service evolution is a challenging issue that aims to adapt deployed business processes to the perpetual changes occurring in enterprises environments. While existing approaches deal with the problem by focusing only on migratable instances, in this approach the authors propose a paradigm shift based on reconfigurable objects nets (RONs) to allow running service instances continuing their execution according to the evolved protocol specifications. In this approach, service protocols are modelled as petri nets, and changes are perceived as transformation rules. Further, reachability graphs are deployed for calculating migratable services instances after evolution. The conceived framework allows migrating active instances from the old protocol version to the evolved one. Web service protocol compatibility and replaceability aspects are addressed to distinguish migratable services instances from non-migratable ones. The authors illustrate their contribution and highlight advantages of using RONs through a real-world scenario related to the visa application service.

Objectives: To examine what factors can influence adoption intention through perceived value and how much influence compatibility can have on the relationship between perceived value and adoption intention. Furthermore, through the results of this research, it is hoped that local retailers can create new services that are appropriate and can help consumers. Design/Method/Approach: Existing scales are adapted, and the field study is conducted in seven different cities of East Java Province, Indonesia. Based on purposive sampling, 195 respondents in seven telecommunication retail outlets completed a questionnaire related to cash-on-delivery service as a payment method of Topsell. This national telecommunication retailer adopts cash on delivery as their payment method. One hundred fifty-four qualified questionnaires are eventually used for data analysis. Furthermore, this study utilizes explanatory research with quantitative research methods. The sample collection method uses a purposive sampling method. Findings: The research results obtained, it can be concluded that all the hypotheses proposed in this study can be accepted. Therefore, these results show that the COD service offered by Topsell can provide technical convenience. Furthermore, compatibility can strengthen the relationship between perceived value and adoption intention. Originality: Many studies utilize the theory of value-based adoption models, but only a few include the compatibility variable as a moderating variable. This research offers originality, especially in service innovation research. The researcher believes compatibility effectively strengthens the relationship between perceived value and adoption intention. Practical/Policy Implications: The research results are expected to contribute ideas. This research develops the theory of the value-based adoption model. Further researchers can adopt the research model and framework. Through all the results obtained, it can provide benefits for local retailers to survive amid this tight business competition by paying attention to the attributes of the value-based adoption model and the suitability of services with community trends. It is also recommended that Topsell and other telecommunication retail companies create a friendly web so that there is a good assessment of the COD services offered to consumers.

Resumen
With the increasing storage capacity of personal computing devices, the problems of information overload and information fragmentation are apparent on users’ desktops. For the Web, semantic technologies solve this problem by adding a machine-interpretable information layer on top of existing resources. It has been shown that the application of these technologies to desktop environments is helpful for end users. However, certain characteristics of the Semantic Web architecture that are commonly accepted in the Web context are not desirable for desktops. To overcome these limitations, the authors propose the sile model, which combines characteristics of the Semantic Web and file systems. This model is a conceptual foundation for the Semantic Desktop and serves as underlying infrastructure on which applications and further services can be built. The authors present one service, a virtual file system based on siles, which allows users to semantically annotate files and directories and keeps full compatibility to traditional hierarchical file systems. The authors also discuss how Semantic Web vocabularies can be applied for meaningful annotation of files and present a prototypical implementation of the model and analyze the performance of typical access operations, both on the file system and metadata level.

Existing Web API search engines allow only category-based browsing and keyword- or tag-based searches for RESTful services. In other words, they do not enable the discovery or composition of real-world RESTful services by application developers. This paper outlines a novel scheme, called Transformation–Annotation–Discovery (TAD), which transforms OpenAPI (Swagger) documents related to RESTful services into a graph structure and then automatically annotates the semantic concepts on graph nodes using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and WordNet. TAD can then be used for service composition based on the user requirements specified in two modules: a service discovery chain and logical-operation-based composition. The service discovery chain uses the Hungarian algorithm to assess service interface compatibility in order to facilitate the retrieval of services capable of bridging the gap between specified user requirements and the discovered services. The logical-operation-based composition module identifies services that semantically fit the user requirements, based on the structure of the service flow. Those candidate services are then sent to service discovery chains to enable the simultaneous search for potential composition solutions. System prototype and experiment results demonstrate the feasibility and efficacy of the proposed scheme.

Resumen
Abstract The era of Web 1.0 implied the connection of web-based documents via links, which enabled search engines to scan for information and guarantee the search and availability of webpages. Web 2.0 represented the next evolutionary stage. Known as the collaborative web, the emphasis in this case was on the establishment of services and content by the community. Search options were complemented with labelling and frequently undesirable clickstream analysis coupled with push technology-supported information provision. The semantic web is a revolutionary development, which, in addition to processing information by humans, assures the readability of datasets by machines and facilitates communication between devices. In order to promote data and information processing by machines, the semantic web relies on a special ontology allocating the respective meaning to the given data along with relying on the global indexing and naming schemes of the web. Several ontologies emerged with differing basic guidelines while displaying compatibility to the RDF standard ranging from the more semantic description of bibliographical data in libraries to the description of information gained from social networks and human conversations. While Web 3.0 is often used interchangeably with the semantic web, the former one with its intelligent server function exceeds the semantic web. We have to ask ourselves, however, whether we can rely on the accuracy of the obtained data, and we must explore what progress have libraries – expected to increase reliability – made regarding the implementation of semantic data storage.

Resumen
Because data is an important factor in the software industry, how to reliably test data is important. This is even more essential for building Industry 4.0 and smart industrial complexes. This study prepares ISO/IEC 25024-based test methods and guidelines and uses them for energy management at the industrial complex level. In order to provide services by collecting energy data from industrial complexes, it is necessary to verify data quality based on data reliability and compatibility of each plant. Data quality technology needs to conform to ISO TC184/SC4/WG13 (industrial data quality standard) based technology. The study defines the data quality evaluation matrix for the energy management system of industrial parks and factories. It defines five categories and maps detailed indicators to each. The category has three detailed items, which are evaluation items for core requirements, interoperability, and conformity to standards. Each data requirement category covers functionality and reliability, usability and efficiency, and portability as data requirements in the system. Core requirements for system operation such as data consistency are basic evaluation items, and interoperability, which is the semantic compatibility of data for integrated operation of multiple sites, is verified. In addition, data quality is evaluated by verifying standard conformance. Through this evaluation system, the requirements for linking the factory energy management system data with the industrial complex energy management system can be evaluated. This can be used to monitor data quality and develop improvement technologies by developing a master data quality management technology standard suitable for industrial sites.

Resumen
One of the most important features of any online service is the quality of its customer care. However, with the development of NLP tools, businesses are considering automated chatbot solutions to keep up with the increasing demand for their products and services. In view of this, the chatbot was developed using AIML java interpreter library Program AB which helps match input and output predefined in the AIML file. AIML (Artificial Intelligence Markup Language) was used to preprocess and train the bot using ready-made AIML file for FAQ questions. Also, vaadin was used to build a web UI to interact with the trained AIML bot. Finally, a google script was written to translate from any language to English for the bot to understand and send the response in the preferred language of the user. Findings showed that the response time of the bot is dependent of the network, as the design gave a score of 70%, 80%, 90% and 90% for load testing, stability, reliability testing and usability testing, respectively. Also, the bot is compatible with different operating systems, both for forward compatibility and backward compatibility having a score of 95%. The bot was able to answer customer questions, enquiries and complaints and the response time of the bot depends on the strength of the network since it is web based. Hence, the system provided a simple, cheaper, and durable customer financial and payment application service. Since chatbots cannot answer all questions, businesses that decide to implement them should ensure that they have enough protections in place against attacks and that routine requests are standardised to ensure optimal performance.

Resumen
Field imagery is an effective way to capture the state of the entire field; yet, current field inspection approaches, when accounting for image resolution and processing speed, using existent imaging systems, do not always enable real-time field inspection. This project involves the innovation of novel technologies by using an FPGA-based image processing (FIP) device that eliminates the technical limitations of the current agricultural imaging services available in the market and will lead to the development of a market-ready service solution. The FIP prototype developed in this study was tested in both a laboratory and outdoor environment by using a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera and web camera, respectively, as the reference system. The FIP system had a high accuracy with a Lin’s concordance correlation coefficient of 0.99 and 0.91 for the DLSR and web camera reference system, respectively. The proposed technology has the potential to provide on-the-spot decisions, which in turn, will improve the compatibility and sustainability of different land-based systems.

Resumen
Abstract With a large variety of communication methods and protocols, many software architects face the problem of choosing the best way for services to share information. For communication technology to be functional and practical, it should enable developers to define a complete set of CRUD methods for the processed data. The research team compared this paper’s most commonly used data transfer protocols and concepts: REST, WebSocket, gRPC GraphQL and SOAP. A set of web servers was implemented in Python, each using one of the examined technologies. Then, the team performed an automated benchmark measuring time and data transfer overhead for a set of defined operations: creating an entity, retrieving a list of 100 entities and fetching details of one entity. Tests were designed to avoid the results being interfered with by database connection or docker-compose environment characteristics. The research team has concluded that gRPC was the most efficient and reliable data transfer method. On the other hand, GraphQL turned out to be the slowest communication method of all. Moreover, its server and client libraries caused the most problems with proper usage in a web server. SOAP did not participate in benchmarking due to limited compatibility with Python and a lack of popularity in modern web solutions.

Websites compatibility with different browsers is quite necessary as modern technology evolves and more new devices are being invented. This paper aims at determining the application of the Responsive Web Design approach in the Palestinian ministries and governmental institutions. Thirty official websites in Palestine were evaluated and tested using Google DevTools, which is a testing environment that provides a quick and easy way to test websites on mobile devices and tablets, and the Google Mobile-Friendly Test Tool, which analyzes URLs and progress reports on a site's relevance for mobile users. Maintaining accuracy in results, real devices were used to test the responsiveness of the websites. The survey results have shown that 40% of the ministries and official governmental institutions' websites are responsive ones, 30% are semi-responsive, and 30% are unresponsive websites. They also have revealed that 43% of the websites are compatible with mobile phones and tablets. The study highly signifies the responsive design technology as it is a suitable and viable solution for providing web content in an effective and efficient manner for the users of desktop devices and mobile phones with different screen sizes. The researchers also recommended that websites providing electronic services should be given special attention and that a responsive design approach should be used with different dimensional frameworks.

Resumen
In the Internet of Things (IoT), multiple communication protocols are used to connect the smart device. Wi-Fi, Xbee, ZigBee, Bluetooth, and LoRaWAN are some of the communication channels utilized for connectivity by devices using some IoT platform. In order to enable the development of smart services for IoT platforms, there are solutions by different vendors to connect between IoT devices. For example, multiple IoT platforms are available in the market namely IoTivity platform developed by Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF), AllJoyn platform from All Seen Alliance, Weave made by Google, and Home Kit by Apple. In view of such segmentation of IoT platforms, IoT Application’s development has been made complex, where IoT device and accompanying application compatibility with available platforms requires support for multiple protocols. To simplify the complexity introduced by multiple platforms, M2M [4] International standard was already proposed as the bridge for integrating IoT protocols. In our paper, we implement a proxy web service using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) as a way to translate communication in one IoT protocol to another. In our implementation of middleware, we allowed the MQTT broker to accept messages, which were passed, to the Web Service from various devices over Hyper Text Protocol’s POST or GET Commands. Bridging between WCF Web Service and MQTT broker was enabled with duplex communication. Hence, devices supporting either HTTP protocol or MQTT protocol were able to communicate transparently.

Multidimensional, georeferenced data are used extensively in hydrology, meteorology, and water science and engineering. These data are produced, shared, and used by diverse organizations globally. Conventions have been developed to standardize the metadata and format of these datasets to ensure compatibility with current and future software and web services. However, the most common conventions are complex and difficult to implement correctly, resulting in datasets that are unusable for many applications due to a lack of compliance with the conventions. We have developed a method and software module for programmatically assigning metadata and guiding the dataset creation, validating, and cleaning process, so that convention-compliant datasets can be consistently and repeatably created by people with a limited knowledge of file formats and data standards. These datasets can then be used in any application that supports the particular standard. Specifically, this paper examines the process of building multidimensional, georeferenced netCDF datasets that are compliant with the NetCDF Climate and Forecast Conventions. We present a new free and open-source Python package called cfbuild that helps to automate the process of building or updating datasets, making them sufficiently compliant with the Climate and Forecast Conventions and the Attribute Conventions for Data Discovery so that they can be reliably served using a THREDDS Data Server and shared via OPeNDAP.

Various aspects of import substitution strategy introduced in Russia in response to the Western sanctions are examined. The aim was to analyze regulative and legislative acts related to the library policy and activities. The key documents are named; the principles of import substitution are reviewed: the registers of software and databases of the Eurasian Economic Union member states are listed; the alternatives to blocked Internet-based resources and services are suggested. The libraries encounter certain difficulties in their transferring to domestic software. The reason is that there is the vast array of programs for MS Windows and the lack of the similar national software. You cannot replace MS Windows in all library computers in the single step, so for some time you will have to use diverse OS. The author suggests and examines four options to solve the problem: through designing crossplatform software; platform-independent software, WINE compatibility layer to run existing Windows programs in domestic OS, or using terminal access to the software. The majority of specialized library software, in particular automated information library systems (ALIS) designed by Russian providers are either the client-server software for MS Windows or domestic OS via WINE compatibility layer, or the platform-independent software. The author concludes that designing platform-independent software based on web-technologies and cloud software, in particular, is the most promising vector of development.

Resumen
The rapid development of ICT has opened up opportunities for citizens to submit opinions and complaints to the Government, which facilities are guaranteed by law. The provision of these facilities is in the form of implementing e-Government. The government must provide an application that is Government to Citizens/Consumers (G2C) which aims to bring the government closer to the community interactively through access channels that can be reached by the community. Labuhanbatu is a district located in North Sumatra Province with a population of 493,899 people. However, until now there is no facility for the public to submit aspirations or complaints based on e-Government applications. This study aims to create a web-based online application for aspiration and complaint services for the people of Labuhanbatu Regency. This application is called LAPO, which stands for Online Aspirations and Complaints Service. The method used in this research is the Waterfall model. This research has succeeded in creating a web-based online aspiration and complaint service system for Labuhanbatu residents that shows the compatibility between the expected results and the actual results. The results of the study have proven that to design and build this system, the following stages are carried out: analyzing system requirements, system design, implementing the system, and conducting system testing. With this research, it is hoped that it can become one of the e-Government applications for aspiration and complaint services that can be used by the Labuhanbatu Regency Government easily and with low infrastructure costs by utilizing existing human resources.

X.509 certificates and VOMS have proved to be a secure and reliable solution for authentication and authorization on the Grid, but also showed usability issues and required the development of ad-hoc services and libraries to support VO-based authorization schemes in Grid middleware and experiment computing frameworks. The need to move beyond X.509 certificates is recognized as an important objective in the HEP R&D roadmap for software and computing, to overcome the usability issues of the current AAI and embrace recent advancement in web technologies widely adopted in industry, but also to enable the secure composition of computing and storage resources provisioned across heterogeneous providers in order to meet the computing needs of HL-LHC. A flexible and usable AAI based on modern web technologies is a key enabler of such secure composition and has been a major topic of research of the recently concluded INDIGO-DataCloud project. In this contribution, we present an integrated solution, based on the INDIGO-DataCloud Identity and Access Management service that demonstrates how a next generation, token-based VO-aware AAI can be built in support of HEP computing use cases, while maintaining compatibility with the existing, VOMS-based AAI used by the Grid.

In recent times, practicality of web applications has become more reliant upon big-data orientated materials such 4K videos, hi-def. resolution images, lossless audios and massive texts. Structured Query Languages (SQL) faces compatibility issues with large scale databases. Because of this data storage problem, NoSQL databases are used for storing big-data. NoSQL databases have been recently gaining traction with many options such MongoDB, CouchDB, Redis and Apache Cassandra. One of the major restrictions companies, enterprises and developers encounter during developing an application is multiplicative cost of building a native programing across different platforms. Besides, network Function Virtualization (NFV) plays a vital role for providing services for utilizing such applications in larger and more effective scale. Hence, in this paper, we discussed our main motivation behind selecting Iconic Framework, a hybrid system for rapid development real-time application based on Firebase in the NFV environment cooperating with Mobile Edge Computing (MEC). As a result, this approach provides comparatively flexible features.

Resumen
Adamson University has a diverse community where students are engaged in different activities in line with their academic field and extra--curricular activities. There are three types of student organizations in the university;; academic, socio--civic and religious. These organizations are collectively known as Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs), administered by the Office for Student Affairs (OSA). This office oversees all organized events together with Physical Facilities and General Services Office (PFGSO) for the venue reservation and approval. The aforementioned offices are currently using the traditional pen and paper method for event processing. The main goal of this research is to develop an Online Venue Reservation System that can be used to manage and process event data and help reduce problems encountered, such as data redundancy, data loss, and excessive paper use. The study used qualitative research wherein qualified respondents from OSA, PFGSO, and RSO’s were chosen using purposive sampling. This developed web application allows different users to request, monitor, and approve or disapprove a venue reservation request as well as generate reports when necessary. The website was evaluated using ISO 25010 Software Quality Model by the target respondents. The survey showed that the developed system was assessed as “Good” in terms of functionality suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability and portability. In terms of compatibility, the website was rated “Fair”. Furthermore, the respondents also evaluated the website as “Highly Feasible” in terms of technical, operational, economic and environmental considerations.

Resumen
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced people to limit their physical interactions, which has led to unprecedented growth in mobile health live streaming (MHLS). Such practices have been facilitated by the rapid development of consumers’ willingness to pay for MHLS. However, few efforts appear in the literature to understand this change. This study aims to integrate the theory of planned behavior with compatibility to clarify payment motivations for MHLS during the COVID-19 pandemic in China. Accordingly, the current study used a web-based, self-reported questionnaire to collect data from 506 Chinese consumers. Of the 535 distributed questionnaires, we received 505 valid responses, yielding an effective rate of 94.3%. The valid responses were analyzed using structural equation modeling, and the associated hypotheses were tested using partial least squares regression. The results showed that attitude, self-efficacy, preferred lifestyle, information quality, and interactive immersion (but not subjective norms) significantly predicted consumers’ willngness to pay (WTP). In addition, attitude partially mediated the association between preferred lifestyle, information quality, and WTP, respectively, while the mediating role in the relationship between interactive immersion and WTP was not confirmed. These findings can be used to formulate effective marketing strategies to benefit MHLS services and mobile payment technology in the country.

Resumen
Within the framework of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, one of the main goals of the Labyrinth project was to develop and test the Conflict Management services of a U-space-based Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) system. The U-space concept of operations (ConOps) provides a high-level description of the architecture, requirements and functionalities of these systems, but the implementer has a certain degree of freedom in aspects like the techniques used or some policies and procedures. The current document describes some of those implementation decisions. The prototype included part of the services defined by the ConOps, namely e-identification, Tracking, Geo-awareness, Drone Aeronautical Information Management, Geo-fence Provision, Operation Plan Preparation/Optimization, Operation Plan Processing, Strategic Conflict Resolution, Tactical Conflict Resolution, Emergency Management, Monitoring, Traffic Information and Legal Recording. Moreover, a Web app interface was developed for the operator/pilot. The system was tested in simulations and real visual line of sight (VLOS) and beyond VLOS (BVLOS) flights, with both vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) and fixed-wing platforms, while assisting final users interested in incorporating drones to support their tasks. The development and testing of the environment provided lessons at different levels: functionalities, compatibility, procedures, information, usability, ground control station (GCS) integration and aircrew roles.
