Middle East Technical University (METU) campus has such an extensive area that reaching the necessary information which affects campus life, such as the locations of the buildings, classrooms, computer labs, and etc. may be very difficult for anyone who does not know the campus well, and even for a student, personnel or a graduate who had a long time in the campus. An interactive campus map and a database structure related to this map which can be accessed by multiple types of users on the Internet can display this information with its geographical locations, and will reduce the "
difficulty for reaching information"
widely. For this purpose, data of METU were collected from various sources, edited, organized, and inserted into data tables. An interactive campus map displaying the locations of the physical structures and facilities in the campus was created in Scalable Vector Grapics (SVG) standard, and published on the Internet. By JavaScript functions, the map can be browsed with map navigation tools, including zoom in, zoom out, move and information buttons, and layers control. There is a search section on the user interface, which allows users make queries to find building and classroom names, and list the buildings and facilities according to their usage and category types. Data are stored in PostgreSQL database, transmitted through PHP scripts, and can be edited by authorized users through the specialized web interfaces. Lastly, web-based implementation of the application is entirely based on open-source standards.

The purpose of this study was to examine the level of relationship that existed between undergraduates with physical disabilities at East Tennessee State University and campus student organizations. The study was designated a case study as it focused on one institution of higher education. Interview and document review were the 2 methods used for data collection. People from 2 select groups were interviewed on a one-on-one basis. One group was people involved in recruiting for selected campus organizations geared toward undergraduates and the other group was undergraduates with observable physical disabilities. Constitutions, bylaws, mission statements, and other documents offered by the recruiters for the select organizations were reviewed in an effort to discover references to people with disabilities. The results of the study are intended to assist in bridging the gap between involvement in extracurricular organizations and undergraduates with physical disabilities at East Tennessee State University. It has been documented that increased campus involvement lends itself to successful college and post-graduate careers, so it is a relevant issue to resolve. Campus organizations can benefit because their recruiters will have the opportunity to view ways to reach a new pool of possible participants. The findings could also prove beneficial to any campus experiencing a similar phenomenon.

In the spring 2017 semester, East Tennessee State University (ETSU) hosted an on-campus Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Through a series of discussions with other department faculty, it was decided to offer the experience as an internship for accounting students who had completed the federal income tax course in our accounting curriculum. Although one could easily see the benefits of VITA for taxpayers who received the service, I personally had no idea what a blessing the experience would be, nor did I recognize the positive ripple effects it would have for students, alumni and employers. This article will explain what the VITA program is and the process to develop a VITA site.

Esta investigación recorre por las interfaces de la integración que involucra a la sociedad, educación y la enseñanza en Administración, cultura, historia, geografía y memoria, específicamente, entre Brasil y Paraguay. Envuelve los cursos de Administración de la Universidad Estadual do Oeste do Paraná – UNIOESTE, campus de Foz de Iguazú y de la Universidad Nacional del Este – UNE – campus de Ciudad del Este y Sede en Santa Rita. La interdisciplinaridad aproxima los Cursos de Graduación en Administración de la Triple Frontera de Foz do Iguazú y Ciudad del Este como epistemología de distintas ciencias, con la meta de liberarla del condicionamiento teórico-práctico en que se ve insertado. El objetivo principal de esta investigación es realizar un análisis comparativo de Cursos de Administración en su esencia y misión educacional de esta frontera de Brasil y Paraguay. La investigación atraviesa por el método cualitativo, con foco en las aproximaciones de estos dos estados nacionales. Estudiar la propuesta de integración compete a un ejercicio constante de buscar mecanismos políticos, sociales y económicos y en todo momento tener nociones claras que la subjetividad lleva a la interdisciplinariedad, no solo en el campo de la enseñanza, más en las distintas esferas que llevan la misión, y construcción de las DCN‟s de cada Estado Nacional, es decir, Brasil y Paraguay
This research covers the interfaces of integration that involves society, education and teaching in Administration, culture, history, geography and memory, specifically between Brazil and Paraguai. Involves approaches the Graduate Programs in Administration in the Triple Frontier of Foz do Iguaçu and Ciudad del Este as epistemology of different sciences, in order to free it from the theoretical-practical conditioning in which it was inserted. The main objective of this research is to carry out a comparative analysis of the Administration Courses in its essence and educational mission in this border of Brazil and Paraguay. Applying the qualitative method the work focuses on the approximations of these two national states, in the international conurbation of: Foz do Iguaçu-Brazil, and the Paraguayan cities of Ciudad del Este. Rethinking the integration proposal is a constant exercise of seeking political, social and economic mechanisms and at all times have clear notions that in subjectivity leads to interdisciplinarity, not only in the field of education, but in the different spheres that lead the mission, and Construction of the DCNs of each National State, that is, Brazil and Paraguai.
Esta pesquisa percorre pelas interfaces da integração que envolve a sociedade, educação e o ensino em Administração, cultura, história, geografia e memória, especificamente, entre o Brasil e Paraguai. Envolve os cursos de Administração da Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná – UNIOESTE, campus de Foz do Iguaçu e da Universidad Nacional del Este – UNE – campus de Ciudad del Este e extensão em Santa Rita. A integração aproxima os Cursos de Graduação em Administração na Tríplice Fronteira de Foz do Iguaçu e Ciudad del Este como epistemologia de distintas ciências, no intuito de libera-la do condicionamento teórico-prático em que se viu inserida. O objetivo principal desta pesquisa é realizar uma análise comparativa dos Cursos de Administração em sua essência e missão educacional nesta fronteira do Brasil e Paraguai. A pesquisa perpassa pelo método qualitativo, com foco nas aproximações destes dois estados nacionais. Repensar a proposta de integração compete a um exercício constante de buscar mecanismos políticos, sociais e econômicos e a todo o momento ter noções claras que na subjetividade leva a interdisciplinaridade, não só no campo do ensino, mas nas distintas esferas que levam a missão, e construção das DCN‟s de cada Estado Nacional, nesta pesquisa, Brasil e Paraguai.

This thesis examines the possibility of retaining, redesigning, and integrating existing farm and forestlands within the proposed South Campus community development at the University of British Columbia (UBC). The central tenant of my thesis is, given the importance of agriculture in the development of human culture and the UBC Point Grey Campus, and the vital role it will play in the 21st Century, agricultural lands and facilities should be conserved and given a place of importance within the UBC landscape. An explanation is provided on how such an integrative proposal for these lands, collectively known as the UBC South Campus Farm, would support the economic, ecological, and social interests and expectations of the University, and the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD), while providing an exciting learning and living environment for students, faculty staff and community members. An alternative proposal for the South Campus Farm and the South Campus community is provided that supports the stated interests of the University and the GVRD. This is accomplished through a careful assessment of the cultural and biophysical features of the South Campus lands and the subsequent development and application of a regenerative design process applied within a fourfold framework based on the concepts of ecology, economy, integrity and beauty. The final design proposal is compared and evaluated against the current situation and the University development plans.

A Sustainable Eco City co-exists from a natural environment, physical environment and human interaction. It’s an arena where all habitats could depend and support.A Sustainable Urban School demonstrated an educational study ground for people and society to learn, it’s also teaching people a fundamental idea of how future School environments should be.The relationship between School ground and Urban City is based on two interfaces; its characteristics of History, Space and Human sensations, to further extend school is a great platform to vibrate and diversify school spaces into a physical, environmental and friendly spaces. Taipei University of Technology is situated at the Center of major traffic ways, a typical Urban School. Due to the growth and changes of City interfaces, the influences of school spaces and its networking spaces could not be sustained. Consequently the open spaces were forced to be scattered around the remaining dysfunctional school areas. Therefore a proposed Ecosystem program around schools is essential. Substantial landscaping should be demonstrated around the School to deviate from busy Roads and vitalize greenery spaces. The aim to improved and sustained a propose Micro-Ecosystem around the schools by collect all relevant issues around school spaces, civic center and ecological environments and rectify existing problems. Hence we have generalized into 47 design proposals which could meliorate the current situation along the eastern school building façade and fence at Zhong Xiao East road, Taipei University of Technology. The following are the six reasoning: “Communal spaces for students and public”,“Landscaped waterway integrating with boulevard”,“Celebration spaces for people to enjoy eco friendly environment”, “ Recycled water from overpass to aggregated surround greenery”,“Public Arts”and“Ecosystem water gate way”.At last, diversifying dysfunctional spaces to an Eco friendly environment is crucial, it’s a revolutionary living environment which all living organism should be supported and sustained.
