Resumen
Abstract Multicultural awareness, competency based clinical supervision, and the clinical neuropsychology subspecialties are areas of growing importance in the psychology field. Specific guidelines exist for multicultural practice, clinical supervision, as well as training in clinical neuropsychology. However, there are significantly fewer resources and training procedures that focus on multicultural supervision, very limited information regarding neuropsychology supervision, and almost non-existent resources that address multicultural considerations in clinical neuropsychology supervision. Objective: This Poster highlights the most important literature regarding general aspects of multicultural supervision in psychology, supervision in clinical neuropsychology, while also introducing ideas and considerations regarding the dire need of multicultural supervision in clinical neuropsychology. Method The authors reviewed the literature regarding general aspects of multicultural supervision in clinical psychology, supervision in clinical neuropsychology, and additionally highlighted the gaps related to supervision in multicultural neuropsychology. Finally, they introduced ideas to address some of the needs in the arena of supervision in multicultural neuropsychology. Discussion Available resources that explore, delineate, or evaluate competent multicultural supervision in clinical neuropsychology are absent. Partially, the limited understanding of - and research that focuses on - the influence of diversity in neuropsychological assessment and interventions might explain the lack of resources allotted to competent multicultural supervision in clinical neuropsychology. It is proposed that in clinical, neuropsychology supervisory process (as in therapy supervision) should include a culturally competent supervisor who can assist in the development of self-awareness, knowledge, and skills in order to provide interventions that understand, honor, and respect the clients’ multiple diversity dimensions.

Resumen
This collection of generally well written reviews is sure to elicit a variety of reactions from readers interested in the field of clinical neuropsychology. Many, particularly those new to neuropsychology will likely appreciate this well organized and clearly written compilation of chapters edited by Gerald Goldstein and Theresa M. Incagnoli. The 12 chapters written by some of clinical neuropsychology's plenipotentiaries cover the main assessment systems currently employed in the United States. There are also chapters concerned with the evaluation of such special populations as severely demented older adults and children. In addition there are introductory chapters covering longstanding debates that still occupy some quarters of the neuropsychological community. To this group of readers Contemporary Approaches to Neuropsychological Assessment will serve as an intellectual “county fair” where experts have proudly displayed the best of their “wares”: the test systems and ideas with which they have long been associated. However, there will also be readers who will find this compilation disconcerting. From the perspective of many clinicians who are more familiar with the field, including those who must make a living in the real world of managed care and the increasing disillusionment of traditional medical allies of clinical neuropsychology (e.g., behavioral neurology, the court system, etc.), this volume will appear overly optimistic and in some cases anachronistic.

Resumen
There are few handbooks devoted to clinical neuropsychology or behavioral neurology written in French. Most recently, there have been two: one by Habib and the other edited by Seron and Jeannerod. This revised and improved edition of the book edited by M.I. Botez completes this short list. The Botez book is impressive in terms of both its form and its content. The first edition, published in 1987, had 413 pages, 36 collaborators, and 37 chapters. The new edition has 682 pages, 55 collaborators, and 37 chapters. Fourteen of the chapters are quasi-exact reproductions of those in the first edition, while the others have been modified or added.
