Resumen
Tradition says that Yu, first ruler of the Xia Dynasty, was chosen by the “sage emperor” Shun as Shun's successor. The “Modern Text” Bamboo Annals (Jinben Zhushu jinian) dates this act of choice to the fourteenth year of Shun. (With E. L. Shaughnessy, “On the Authenticity of the Bamboo Annals,” Harvard Journal of Asiatic Studies 46 (1986), we accept this text as at least in part the text found in a royal tomb of Wei in A.D. 281.) Following D. Pankenier's argument (“Mozi and the Dates of Xia, Shang and Zhou,” Early China 9–10 [1983–85]), we date this event to 1953 B.C., the year of a dramatic five-planet conjunction. (K. Pang independently dated this conjunction to Yu's reign in his article “Extraordinary Floods in Early Chinese History and their Absolute Dates,” Journal of Hydrology 96 [1987].)We next use K. Pang's discovery (“Extraordinary Floods”) that there was an eclipse of the sun on 16 October 1876 B.C., that exactly satisfies descriptions in the Zuo zhuan (Zhao 17) and in the Bamboo Annals for Xia, Zhong Kang fifth year, of an eclipse associated with the (post-Han Shang shu) “Punitive Expedition of Yin” (except for the day-cycle in the Annals, which we assume to be a later calculation); i.e., it occurred on the first of the ninth lunar month (Xia calendar), the sun's location at the time (188å) was in lunar lodge Fang, and the eclipse was visible in the probable Xia capital area. No other eclipse within many centuries satisfies these criteria.Extending D. Nivison's theory (“The Dates of Western Chou,” Harvard Journal of Asiatic Studies 43 (1983)) that Western Zhou royal calendars began only after completion of mourning, i.e., two years after accession, we then assume that there were similar two-year mourning breaks between Xia royal calendars (possibly reflected in the irregular interregnums in the present Annals). For a demonstration of this chronology, see the chart on page 94.

Resumen
This paper is a study of the book Chu-fan-chi compiled by Chau Ju-Kua (Zhao Rugua) from 1208 to 1224 or when he was an official at the customs office (Shi-po-shi) of Quanzhou Port. Chu-fan-chi can be considered as documentation of the Trans-Asian maritime trade during the time of the Buddhist Cosmopolis. This period was an era that formed an Asia Civilization with the establishment of economic, political, cultural, and scientific cooperation that grew along with the development of Hindu-Buddhist Religion in the Sino-Indian region since the 7th century. This paper wants to provide an overview of how the conditions of trade routes and activities in Sriwijaya in the 10th to 13th centuries, which is the information from Chau Ju-Kua that describe the dynamic relationship between Sriwijaya and the Song Dynasty in the formation of maritime history and the spice trade in the archipelago. This study also aims to re-examine the bilateral relationship between China and Srivijaya during the heyday of the Buddhist Cosmopolitan period. This study is expected to redevelop historiographic studies of the Buddhist Cosmopolitan period. This study was compiled by collecting data from various historical and archaeological records and works that have been compiled in various secondary sources, especially from the records of Sinology scholars who have studied relics in the form of government reports, travel records, documentation, and journals originating from the Song Dynasty. According to a Chau Ju-Kua, Sriwijaya not just only sought to profit from the hectic trade traffic that crossed the Natuna Sea, Karimata Strait, Malacca Strait, and Sunda Straits, but Sriwijaya was also able to maintain the security and continuity of Trans-Asian trade traffic at that time.

Resumen
We report on thermal analysis and a continuous wave (CW) laser operation at (1.998µm) of end pumped Tm: YAP cylindrical laser rod. The Tm: YAP laser rod is pumped at a wavelength of 1.064 µm emitting from Nd: YAG laser source. A 3W incident pump power is used to generate a maximum laser output of 700 mW, representing 18% slope efficiency. The power of thermally induced lens in Tm:YAP laser rod is numerically analyzed and validated experimentally. The focal lengths of the thermally induced lens are directly measured using Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor. We have detected blue up-conversion fluorescence emission before laser operation at 1.998 µm. The obtained experimental results were in good agreement with the numerical calculations. Resumen
Abstract The Hippo signaling pathway is critical for the regulation of organ development, tissue homeostasis, and tumorigenesis by controlling the activation status of yes-associated protein (YAP) or its homolog PDZ-binding motif (TAZ). As a major downstream effector, the transcription factor TEAD is activated by forming a complex with YAP/TAZ. Hippo pathway aberrations, such as NF2-deficiency or LATS1/2 mutations leading to hyperactivation of YAP/TAZ and subsequent activation of TEAD, have been reported in many cancers, including mesothelioma, meningioma, soft tissue sarcoma and non-small cell lung cancer. Inhibiting TEAD auto-palmitoylation by directly blocking the palmitoylation pocket of TEAD is a potential therapeutic approach for cancer treatment. Here we present BPI-460372, a novel small molecule that directly blocks the TEAD auto-palmitoylation. BPI-460372 covalently and irreversibly binds to the cysteine residue in the TEAD palmitoylation pocket, preventing TEAD palmitoylation and inhibiting its biological function. BPI-460372 significantly inhibits the expression of a TEAD-responsive element reporter, as well as the mRNA of downstream target genes such as CTGF and CYR61 in NF2-deficient cells. At the cellular level, BPI-460372 strongly inhibited the proliferation of tumor cells harboring Hippo pathway aberrations. BPI-460372 also significantly suppressed tumor growth in NF2-deficient or LATS1/2 mutation xenograft models. In addition, BPI-460372 exhibited excellent oral bioavailability, high exposure across multiple species, and adequate ADME properties. In conclusion, BPI-460372 is a potent and selective TEAD palmitoylation inhibitor for the treatment of solid tumors harboring Hippo pathway aberrations. It is planned to enter Phase I clinical trial in China in early 2023. Resumen
This volume originated in a collection of workshop papers given at the University of Birmingham in June 2000. The problems with such collections are well known: the papers can quickly become out of date; their quality can be variable; or the collection can lack over-arching intellectual purpose. With this volume the first two problems are negligible: the papers are still largely relevant and of sufficient quality to demand our attention. The third problem is, however, evident: the volume has 14 main chapters divided into three sections covering economic, social and political, and foreign policy change in China, yet the relationship between some of the chapters within sections, or indeed between sections, is not established. This is not too apparent in the six chapters on economic change, which work well together, but much more so in the section on social and political change where chapters on welfare reform, the internet, Taiwan, neo-authoritarianism, and the Asian financial crisis sit alongside each other. The section on foreign policy is largely detached at the back of the volume with no apparent relationship to the preceding chapters. We can have some sympathy for the editors and their aspiration to present “a comprehensive book on the scope and dynamics of change affecting China” (p. ix): the facets of rapid change in China are so many and their interaction so complex that building a model of China's transformation is particularly challenging. Yet this is precisely what social science must attempt not least by rigorous use of theory, and it is a major weakness of the book that it is largely an exercise in micro-level empiricism with few appeals to theory building. This is not true of all contributions: Zhao Chenggen's chapter on the limits of rational authoritarianism in dealing with the problems arising from economic liberalization is acerbic and convincing. Guan Xinping ties China's struggle to create a modern welfare system to the pressures of neo-liberal globalization. But with regard to the volume as a whole the editors seem uncertain where to locate China's changes in social science terms: industrialization, modernization theory, Asian developmentalism, transition studies? They call for a dialogue of theoretical approaches (p. 9) but this feels as much like uncertainty as eclecticism.

Resumen
This study examined the major contents of some 70 kinds of tea rites and eight kinds of tea books from Song Dynasty based on A Collection of Chinese Historical Materials on Tea Leaves (中國茶葉歷史資料選集) compiled by Jin Jo Gyu and Ju Ja Jin. In China, the writing of books on tea started with Tea Classic(茶經) by Yuku in Tang. In Song Dynasty, a hefty 30% of Chinese ancient books on tea were published, including Cheonmyeongrok by Dogok, Darok by Chaeyang, Yongcharokhuseo by Gu Yang Su, Pumchayorok by Hwang Yu, Donggyesidarok by Song Ja An, Daegwandaron by Emperor Huizong Zhao Ji, SeonhwaBukwonGongChaRok written by Woongbeon(熊蕃), and Bukwonbyeolrok by Jo Yeo Ryeo. In Song, some 70 kinds of tea rites were further enriched by literati s literary talent and emotion such as the writing of poems or literary commentaries. In those times in Song, many literati, scholars, and government officials were the very masters of teas, and they created the harmonious beauty and deep mental world into poems, calligraphies and paintings, from their tea life. In particular, most of books on tea published in Dynasty feature many contents of tribute tea. Nearly all authors of tea books were government officials in charge of tea rites in Bukwon, including officials responsible for transporting grains as taxes in Bukwon, Geonan. The books recorded the authors first-hand experience, detailing the entire process of making tea from cultivation to collection to drying, as well as kinds of tribute tea. Books on tea published in Song are important historical materials for researching Song s tea industry and tea culture. Song s tea culture reached the loftiest level in the history of China. Considering the times publication circumstances and expansive geographical scope, however, the distribution of books on tea and exchange of knowledge presumably were not facilitated. Due to such circumstances, Song s books on tea were generally written based on compilers experience, observation and knowledge.

Resumen
Abstract Background: With the development of sensitive next-generation sequencing (NGS) techniques that go beyond the genotyping of specific mutations, detection rates for uncommon mutations have risen clinically. Given this rise in mutation identification, discoveries regarding isolation or coexistent mutations with the EGFR mutation (termed a “complex” mutation) are in “uncharted territory” in terms of their biological impacts on oncogenic pathways and their sensitivity or resistance, to EGFR TKIs. Methods: Targeted NGS for 450 genes was performed in OrigiMed (Shanghai, China), a College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredited and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified laboratory. Results: A cohort of 262 Chinese lung adenocarcinoma patients were recruited. The most common mutated gene was EGFR (63%, 165/262), and followed by TP53 gene (59.2%, 155/262). Beyond single genetic lesions, we found that enriched co-mutations in lung adenocarcinoma were significantly different for TP53 (p < 0.001) and RTK-RAS (p = 0.0012) signaling pathways between the EGFR-positive and EGFR-negative groups. In all EGFR co-mutated patients, the frequency of co-mutation for EGFR/TP53 and the classical EGFR mutation was 106 (64.2%) and 144 (87.3%), respectively. EGFR-only mutations occurred in 50 (30.3%) patients, while co-mutation of EGFR and at least one tumor suppressor gene (TSG) occurred in 84 (50.9%) patients. Patients with EGFR-only mutation had a lower tumor mutational burden (p = 0.026) as compared to patients with only a TSG mutation. Patients with co-mutations of EGFR and at least one TSG also displayed a lower tumor mutational burden, although only a slight difference (p = 0.062) was determined. Conclusions: Profiles of EGFR co-mutational TSGs should be regarded as a unique subgroup for predictive insights in treatments for patients with co-occurrence of somatic EGFR and TSG mutations. To improve predictions related to drug sensitivity in targeted therapies for oncogenes with diverse mutations, our future studies will include publications dedicated to this topic. Resumen
Abstract B7H3, a B7 family member of immune checkpoint proteins, is overexpressed in a broad spectrum of malignant tumors. It has become an attractive target for cancer therapies in recent years. ILB-3101, a potential best-in-class ADC, was constructed by conjugating a potent mitotic inhibitor Eribulin to a proprietary anti-B7H3 mAb through a proprietary linker. This ADC molecule has been developed and preclinically evaluated as both the 1st line ADC treatment with B7H3 expressed patients in Eribulin sensitive cancer types and the later line treatment for patients whose cancer are B7H3 positive but TopoI inhibitor resistant. The humanized antibody of ILB-3101 is IgG1 type and shows high affinity to both human and monkey B7H3 proteins. It also shows better internalization than benchmark antibodies such as that of DS-7300 analog. The DAR value of ILB-3101 is 3.5. ILB-3101 has potent and dose-dependent cytotoxicity to B7H3-positive tumor cells and shows better activities than DS-7300 analog as positive control. In vivo studies based on xenograft tumor models reveal that ILB-3101 has potent anti-tumor activities in various tumor types including TNBC, sarcoma, ovarian cancer and AML etc., which are superior or comparable to DS-7300 analog. Furthermore, ILB-3101 shows strong anti-tumor activity on Dxd based ADC resistant tumors in xenograft tumor models. The PK study of ILB-3101 in cynomolgus monkeys shows dose-dependent exposure and desirable PK profile. ILB-3101 was well tolerated in cynomolgus monkeys with HNSTD at 6 mg/kg. No serious adverse events were observed, and the main safety findings were limited and reversible hematological and immunological effects, which are consistent with the safety profile of Eribulin as an approved chemotherapy. The in vitro and in vivo preclinical results above demonstrate that ILB-3101 has good efficacy and safety profile and it is a promising and potentially best-in-class B7H3 targeting ADC drug candidate. ILB-3101 is worthy of further translational research and clinical trials. Its IND application has been submitted in China, followed by US FDA filing soon. Resumen
Abstract The most observed alteration in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is the inactivation of the tumor suppressor von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) E3 ligase due to genetic predisposition, somatic mutations, or methylation. Loss of VHL can lead to hypoxia-inducible factor 2α (HIF-2α) accumulation and elevated expression of HIF target genes, such as VEGFA, many of which facilitate angiogenesis, proliferation, and metastasis of ccRCC. Therefore, inhibiting HIF-2α has become a new strategy for the treatment of ccRCC. Here, we present the discovery of BPI-452080, a selective small molecule HIF-2α inhibitor. In VHL defective ccRCC cell lines, BPI-452080 potently and selectively blocked the heterodimerization of HIF-2α with HIF-1β, but not that of HIF-1α with HIF-1β. It inhibited the downstream hypoxia-responsive gene transcription and VEGFA protein secretion. In multiple xenograft mouse models, oral administration of BPI-452080 significantly inhibited tumor growth in a dose-dependent manner. BPI-452080 demonstrated good PK/PD correlation in the 786-O xenograft model after a single dosing, as shown by a concentration-dependent inhibition of VEGFA secretion in plasma and a reduction of the mRNA levels of VEGFA, CXCR4, CCND1, and GLUT1 genes in tumor tissue. Moreover, BPI-452080 exhibited good bioavailability in multiple pre-clinical species, favorable ADME properties, and good tolerance in toxicology studies. In conclusion, BPI-452080 is a potent, selective, and orally bioavailable HIF-2α inhibitor which presents a novel therapeutic option for ccRCC, von Hippel-Lindau disease, and other solid tumors. BPI-452080 is planned to enter Phase I clinical trial in China in early 2023.
