Resumen
In the 1960s and 1970s there was a significant increase in juvenile delinquency in urban and rural areas. The tightening of measures to combat it did not radically change the situation, and the country’s leadership began to pay great attention to educational work, which was mainly entrusted to the Komsomol. One of the priority directions in the work of the Komsomol in this period was the organization of summer vacations for children. There was a search and testing of new forms of work, which was expressed in the creation of new types of summer camps for schoolchildren. On the basis of a wide range of archival materials, primarily reports from the departments of the school Komsomol, the process of creating camps in the city and the countryside is analyzed, and the problems that the Komsomol committees faced in the process of this work are highlighted. First of all, there is a lack of funding. It is shown that the labor and recreation camps for high school students who were striving to exist on the principles of self-sufficiency, created during this period, began to acquire great popularity. At the same time, labor, military, sports, and tourist camps for adolescents registered in the children’s room of the police began to be created. In this regard, there was a problem with training counselors for such camps. The Moscow city committee of the Komsomol was the first to begin training counselors from among student activists. The analysis of archival materials shows that regarding urban schoolchildren during the study period, various types of camps were created for all age groups. The situation was different in rural areas. For the first time, inter-collective farm camps began to appear in the districts, however, they did not become widespread.

Resumen
All children have the right to have sexuality education in order to enhance their self-understanding, their developing maturity and their self-concept. In the past, parents and some schools have provided this, usually as formal school programs. However, many children receive sexuality education informally from other sources such as peers, television, magazines and books. The technology available in the information age provides yet another source. The Internet has a growing number of sites specifically for sexuality education for children and pre-schoolers. Here, a selection of relevant sites is identified and presented for their developmental appropriateness. The opportunities these promote are almost limitless for children's enhanced personal understanding and knowledge-base upon which further development will occur in their teenage years and beyond.

Resumen
The presented research is carried out in the context of the general plan of research works of the Book Chamber of Ukraine for 2020. The article is devoted to the Ukrainian Soviet periodicals of 1962, the electronic base of which is formed at this stage. The article prepared by the author raises the issue of children's periodicals of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, which, to date, remains insufficiently studied by scientists. Taking into account the special urgency and demand of this topic, the researcher conducted a content analysis of children's magazines published in the USSR during 1962 under the auspices of the Central Committee of the Leninist Communist Youth Union of Ukraine and the Republican Council of the All-Union Pioneer Organization. Lenin. We are talking about the magazine "Malyatko", designed for preschool children, the magazine "Barvinok", which was published for children of preschool and primary school age, the magazine "Pioneer", which reached the teenage audience. All these magazines still exist under their former names, with the exception of the magazine "Pioneer", which is now published under the name "Classmate". The processed editions were published in large editions, distributed among readers at symbolic prices and were distinguished by their powerful educational potential. The editorial boards of these journals have mastered and widely used acceptable for today's practical pedagogy forms of work with the younger generation. Children were instilled with high moral qualities, such as honesty, friendliness, diligence, devotion to the Fatherland, respect for the elderly, equal treatment of people of all races, nations and nationalities, care for nature and more. Magazines formed a culture of family reading, taught children to communicate with each other and adults. These publications had a deep Ukrainian studies content and were an example of exemplary knowledge of the Ukrainian literary language.

Resumen
Whereas Glen Elder and associates’ principles of the life course are usually articulated and investigated individually, they reference analytic distinctions that simplify their empirical coexistence and mutual interrelation. This article illustrates this complexity by focusing on the principle of agency and its intersections with ‘linked lives’ and ‘time and place’. Data are drawn from the Youth Development Study (YDS), which has followed a Minnesota cohort (G2, born 1973–74) from mid-adolescence (ages 14–15) to midlife (ages 45–46). The YDS also includes G1 parents and G3 children, the latter surveyed at about the same age as their parents were when the research began. The findings indicate that multiple agentic orientations, observed in adolescence, affect adult attainments; they are shaped by the ‘linked lives’ of grandparents, parents and children over longer periods of time than previously recognised; and their associations with educational achievement are historically specific. Whereas the ‘linked lives’ of parents and adolescents are generally studied contemporaneously, the agentic orientations of parents, measured as teenagers, were found to predict the same psychological resources in their adolescent children (self-concept of ability, optimism and economic efficacy) decades later. We also found evidence that parents’ occupational values continue to influence the values of their children as the children’s biographies unfold. Suggesting a historic shift in the very meaning and behavioural consequences of agentic orientations, optimism and efficacy replaced educational ambition as significant predictors of academic achievement.

Resumen
Adolescence is a period of transition from child to adult, not only psychologically but also physically, and for teenage girls they experience menstruation. No exception, deaf female students also experience this period, but deaf children experience problems with their sense of hearing, causing limitations in children's ability to obtain information. information, especially information about menstruation. As with the problem of class VI female students at SLB Negeri 1 Gianyar, deaf female students' understanding of menstruation is still very low. For this reason, researchers have high hopes of being able to solve the problems experienced by female students with reproductive health educational videos as a medium and learning model that focuses on understanding the menstrual process of female students. By knowing the problems that exist in deaf children, motivation and encouragement are needed in learning. So that it is easier for students to understand the learning given by the teacher. Like the deaf female students in class VI at SLB Negeri 1 Gianyar who had difficulty understanding the menstrual process. For this reason, learning models and media are needed that can help students' understanding. Existing problems can be tested through classroom action research, which is carried out classically, and uses a quantitative approach with a type of pre-experimental research.

Sharenting is a habit of using social media to share content that disseminates pictures, videos, information, and parenting styles for their children. The purpose of this article is to describe the sharenting phenomenon that occurs among young parents, and the importance of parenting programs, rather than protecting children's privacy. Writing articles use a qualitative approach as a literature review method that utilizes various scientific articles describing the sharenting phenomenon in various countries. The findings show that sharenting behaviour can create the spread of children's identity openly on social media and tends not to protect children's privacy and even seems to exploit children. Apart from that, sharenting can also create pressure on the children themselves and can even have an impact on online crime. This article is expected to provide benefits to parents regarding the importance of maintaining attitudes and behaviour when sharing and maintaining children's privacy and rights on social media. "Analysis of Article 408 of the New Criminal Code: Human Rights Dynamics in Restricting Access to Contraception for Children". Pakistan Journal of Criminology, n.º 16.3 (27 de mayo de 2024): 695–712. http://dx.doi.org/10.62271/pjc.16.3.695.712.

Resumen
Article 408 of Indonesia's new Criminal Code restricts children's access to information about contraception, aiming to shield them from content unsuitable for their age. This regulation emphasizes adult responsibility in creating a secure environment for children. However, it has sparked debate about the potential negative effects on children's access to essential reproductive health information. Limiting this access could inadvertently raise the risks of unintended teenage pregnancies and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. The current policy presents a dilemma, balancing child protection with their right to comprehensive sexual education. It is evident there is a need to revise the law to better define the roles of parents and educators in providing reproductive health information and ensuring children receive safe, accurate, and age-appropriate education. Proposed changes include legal clarifications, development of suitable educational curricula, training for parents and educators in effective communication, partnerships with media for accurate information dissemination, and ongoing evaluation of sexual education programs. Additionally, advocacy and public awareness campaigns are crucial to foster open discussions on reproductive health. By fostering a supportive ecosystem through cross-sector collaboration, Indonesia can ensure that children's rights to informed and healthy development are balanced with protections against inappropriate content.

Resumen
Abstract Background Adolescents with intellectual disabilities are probably twice as many people without intellectual disabilities to be sexually abused by family members, caregivers, close relatives, and others in the community. Sex education and training are essential components of children's and teenagers' education and human rights, as well as a source of worry for parents and society. While the parents are thought to be the most accessible choice as sexual educators, they often do not fulfill this role. Therefore, professional teachers and trainers who have undergone sex education courses for mentally retarded adolescents are more reliable sources to provide the sexual information in terms of their educational role. This study aimed to determine the experiences of teachers, educators, and school counselor parents regarding the sexual and reproductive health of educable intellectually disabled adolescent girls. Methods This was a qualitative content analysis study. 35 participants were selected via purposive sampling with maximum variation, and data were collected through in-depth individual interviews, focus group discussions and field notes, and analyzed using the conventional qualitative content analysis method simultaneously. Results Three subcategories have emerged: “knowledge and professional experience of teachers, educators, and school counselors with how to educate and care for adolescent sexual health”, “proficiency of teachers, educators, and school counselors in guiding families in solving their child's sexual problems”, “attitude of teachers, educators, and school counselors towards sexual behaviors and sexual education of adolescents” which formed the main category of “teachers, educators, and school counselors’ inefficiency in maintaining ID adolescent girls’ sexual and reproductive health”. Conclusions Teachers, educators, and school counselors encounter a variety of issues related to the sexual and reproductive health of intellectually impaired teenage females, as a consequence of the findings. As a result, efforts should be made to enhance knowledge and skill development, as well as the evolution of negative attitudes. Therefore, the teaching of sexual guidelines for teenagers with mental impairments should be included in the agenda of the country's educational policies. Teachers and educators should be taught by health experts via the holding of in-service training courses.

Resumen
In Nigeria, displaced non-Muslim parents living in refugee camps face difficult decisions regarding the schooling of their teenage daughters, who are potential targets of Boko Haram terrorist activities. The purpose of this interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) was to qualitatively explore a deeper understanding of the lived experience of displaced non-Muslim parents in Nigeria concerning the schooling of their teenage daughters. Prospect theory provided a theoretical foundation for the study. The theory holds that decision-making is based on the perceived value of gains and losses under risk conditions, rather than solely the perceived final outcome of the risk. The research questions explored how the experience of terrorism affected parents' school-related decision-making, perceptions of the schooling environment and value of education, and risk-taking attitudes. Data were collected through semistructured interviews held with 12 participants from 2 refugee camps. The data were then analyzed using the steps recommended in IPA. Identified themes included parents' experience of trauma, their concern about the vulnerability of their school-going children, and their support for their daughters' education. The findings produced a deeper understanding of the psychological implications of terrorist activities for the families, as well as their perception of the educational needs of teenage girls. Recommendations include providing governmental and nongovernmental support for affected parents and teenage girls. Contributions to positive social change include developing advocacy and resources in support of displaced parents and schools for improving the educational status of teenage girls in Nigeria.

Kuang, Li. "Neighborhood effects on children's educational attainment and teenage childbirth". Thesis, 2014. https://doi.org/10.7916/D8N58JH1.

Resumen
This dissertation study examines the associations between neighborhood economic conditions and children's probability of dropping out of high school before completion and female teenagers' likelihood of giving birth before age 20. This dissertation study makes two major contributions to the current literature. First, by taking a longitudinal view of neighborhood socioeconomic situations, this research has demonstrated the advantage and importance of examining the impact of socioeconomic situations in which children are embedded during their entire childhood. Comparing the results from this study with those from using point-in-time measures of neighborhood conditions, I have found estimates of neighborhood effects using longitudinal measures are larger and more efficient. Second, unlike prior research that has focused on neighborhood poverty, this study examines three important dimensions of neighborhood economic conditions: poverty, affluence, and economic segregation by using the index of concentration at the extremes. Each of the dimensions has different impact on children's probabilities of quitting high school early and becoming teenage mothers. Neighborhood poverty is curvilinearly related to children's likelihood of dropping out of high school while neighborhood affluence and ICE have linear impact on children's educational attainment. For teenage childbirth outcome, effects of all three economic dimensions are linear. Substantial racial differences in response to neighborhood economic impact have been discovered. Results confirm the prior findings that white children are more responsive to neighborhood affluence. Holding constant individual and family characteristics, and influence from neighborhood racial composition, black children may fare better in their academic achievement than white children. This study fails to provide substantial support for relative deprivation and competition mechanisms of neighborhood economic influence. The neighborhood impact is mainly channeled through social isolation avenue. Family economic conditions and the educational attainment of family heads have strong impact on both of the children's outcomes. Residential mobility has negative impact on children's school performance but not on their health risk of teenage childbirth.

Resumen
The use of punishment inflicted on children keeps being common in Colombia and the world in the raising and education context. The belief and tradition system play a major role in these punitive actions against childhood. The purpose of this investigation is to make a contribution to the eradication of the beliefs in the necessity, usefulness, effectiveness and the legitimacy of punishment in said contexts. The goal is to motivate parents, guardians, teachers and professional counselors (psychologists, pedagogues, pediatricians; etc.) to create, recreate, embrace, and promote those practices that can help to build autonomous subjectivities, free and responsible. In order to reach that goal, it has been mad a careful and selective theoretical examination of texts, magazine articles, press articles, documents of the Government, Non-Governmental Organizations, and legal field, national and international, that refer specifically to the use of punishment with children and teenagers within the raising and education context. The examination of said sources implied an exercise of interpretation in interdisciplinary key, open, reflective, critical and proactive, and in exchange with all other types of knowledge. This way, it’s been able to recall, expand and innovate arguments in favor of erasing any kind of punishment in parenthood and education in order to always ensure the well-being of the children and teenagers, make a contribution to build more peaceful territories in both Colombia and the world, not allowing any kind of violence, in the justice field with complete respect of their rights.

Resumen
This chapter talks about The Spirit Level: Why More Equal Societies Almost Always Do Better (2009). Written by Richard Wilkinson, a professor of medical epidemiology at Nottingham University, and Kate Pickett, a lecturer in epidemiology at York University, The Spirit Level charts the level of health and social problems — as many as the authors could find reliable figures for — against the level of income inequality in twenty of the world's richest nations, and in each of the fifty United States. In doing so, the book reveals that, in states and countries where there is a big gap between the incomes of rich and poor, mental illness, drug and alcohol abuse, obesity and teenage pregnancy are more common, the homicide rate is higher, life expectancy is shorter, and children's educational performance and literacy scores are worse. Wilkinson and Pickett further argue that, with the evidence they have supplied, politicians now have a chance to ‘do genuine good’. By reducing income inequality, they can improve the health and well-being of the whole population.
