Com o intuito de auxiliar o professor no ensino da Literatura, desenvolveu-se um cederrom literário #Alcides Buss: Pomar de Possibilidades# que abrange os mais de 30 anos de produção artística do poeta catarinense Alcides Buss. Este #pomar# permite a formação de uma dinâmica alternativa no processo ensino-aprendizagem de Literatura, no qual a tecnologia interage com a produção do conhecimento. Usando o computador como ferramenta disseminadora, possibilita-se transmitir a um público diverso, em variadas localidades, o valor da poesia e do poeta catarinense. Intending to help the educator at the Literature teaching, was developed a compact disc #Alcides Buss: Possibilities Orchard# that include all the collection of more than thirty years of artistic production from the poet Alcides Buss. This #orchard# permisses the formation of an alternative dynamic in Literature teaching teaching-andlearning, in that the technology interacts with the knowledge production. Texto completoThis study tries to point out parallels between the conception of the linguistic sign and of semantic change in Bréal’s and Busse’s studies. Besides their view of language and its development the authors’ methods are of interest as well as the pattern they offer in order to describe and explain semantic change. Until only few years ago, Bréal was totally misjudged by linguists. General accounts of semantic change still fail to make reference to him. Only in the last decades of the previous century did his work find the attention it deserves. Busse assimilates several existing concepts (e. G. Those by Humboldt, Wittgenstein, Grice und Foucault). He strongly objects to traditional concepts of semantic change and above all he thoroughly disagrees with structuralism and its attainments. Despite the title of his first monograph, historical semantics is entirely ignored in favour of the history of concepts. He categorically denies the existence of the linguistics sign’s meaning as a purely theoretical abstraction. The publications of Bréal and Busse show various parallels. It is astonishing that the theory which Busse formulated twenty years ago, has almost identical results. Therefore, it is even more surprising that there is not a single positive mention of Bréal in Busse’s writings. Conversely, it is quite striking, in how far Bréal’s theories give the impression that he has already anticipated a semantic of discourse apart from pragmatics and structuralism

Texto completoIn 2002 the Norrköping municipality decided to establish a number of supportive teams and one teaching group with the purpose of developing alternative supporting efforts for children with social problems. This development work came to be called BUSS. BUSS today consists of four local teams, team Ett, team Norra, team Torpet and the Mathson School.
The teams’ focus, beyond the commission from Norrköping municipality, is to reduce the number of children being placed outside their own homes, get them to function in school, develop their self-confidence and social competence. Also their task is to support parents and take up a functional spare time for the children. In our study we start with a child’s perspective and focus on three different dimensions: the child’s view of its own existence within the development work, the parents’ view of the supporting efforts, and finally whether the children and parents feel that the teams and municipality manage to achieve their goals. The study is qualitative and has its foundation in interviews and written inquiries with a total of 17 children and parents. The purpose of this study is to try to ascertain what children and parents mean when they tell us about the development work of BUSS.
To help us we have found inspiration from the hermeneutic theory where interpretation is the main research method. We highlight what the informant tells us using symbolic interactionism and knowledge sociology, two theories which emphasize human interaction and language.
The study indicates that children and parents find the help and support received to be sufficient. The children describe support received in different spheres, such as school and spare time. The parents emphasize that it is important they also receive help and support. The parents question that the focus is on the school’s compulsory subjects. It appears that the teams do not achieve their goals at present, but the parents are of the opinion that the help and support received has its foundation in the teams’ goals. Furthermore it appears that the staff have a significant role in the children’s socialization, as they are seen as adult role models. The value of continuity in the children’s development is emphasized, and changes in staff are perceived as having a negative effect. The time limit on the supporting effort and reduced time for the children in the school environment is also called into question.
Norrköpings kommun beslutade 2002 att starta ett antal stödteam samt en undervisningsgrupp i syfte att utveckla alternativa stödinsatser för barn med sociala problem. Utvecklingsarbetet kom att kallas BUSS, Barn – Ungdom – Social – Samverkan. BUSS innefattar fyra lokala verksamheter: Team Ett, Team Norra, Team Torpet och Mathsonskolan. Kommunens mål och teamens uppdrag är att
utveckla alternativa stödinsatser i närmiljö i syfte att minimera placeringar av barn och ungdomar utanför det egna hemmet. Arbetet ska ske i nära samverkan mellan skola och socialtjänst.
Teamens verksamhetsmål, utöver uppdrag från Norrköpings kommun, är att skapa en fungerande skolgång, utveckla barnens självförtroende och sociala kompetens, arbeta med föräldraarbete samt skapa en fungerande fritid för barnen.
Studien utgår från ett barnperspektiv med fokus på tre olika dimensioner: barnens syn på sin egen tillvaro inom utvecklingsarbetet, vårdnadshavarnas syn på utvecklingsarbetets stödinsatser samt huruvida barn och vårdnadshavare anser att kommun och team lever upp till uppsatta mål. Studien är kvalitativ och har främst sin grund i intervjuer och enkäter tillsammans med totalt 17 barn och vårdnadshavare.
Syftet med studien är att synliggöra vad barn och vårdnadshavare berättar om utvecklingsarbetet BUSS. För att tydliggöra vad som berättas har inspiration hämtats från hermeneutiken, en förståelseinriktad forskningsansats där tolkning utgör den huvudsakliga forskningsmetoden. Vi lyfter fram vad informanterna säger med hjälp av symbolisk interaktionism och kunskapssociologi, två teorier som betonar betydelsen av mötet med andra och betydelsen av språk.
Barn och vårdnadshavare i studien upplever att det stöd och den hjälp de erhåller är bra. Barnen skildrar att de får stöd inom olika sfärer, så som skola och fritid. Vårdnadshavarna betonar även vikten av att de själva får hjälp och stöd. Vårdnadshavarna ifrågasätter att fokus ligger på skolans kärnämnen. Det framgår att teamen ännu inte lever upp till verksamhetsmålen, men vårdnadshavarna anser att den hjälp och det stöd som erhålls har sin grund i teamets verksamhetsmål. Vidare framgår att personalen har en betydande roll i barnens socialisering, då de ses som vuxna förebilder. För barnens utveckling poängteras vikten av kontinuitet och förändringar inom personalstyrkan framförs som negativt. Att insatsen är tidsbegränsad samt att barnen får mindre tid i skolans miljö ifrågasätts.

Texto completoDen ”civiliserade” världen är idag helt beroende av fossila bränslen för att fungera. Företaget Hybricon AB i Umeå jobbar med att utveckla en teknik som förhoppningsvis kan minska en del av detta beroende. Hybricon testkör idag sina två elbussar (med hybridbackup) på Umeås gator i linjetrafik genom samarbete med Umeå kommun. Bussarna är ombyggda dieselbussar, där dieselmotorn har bytts ut mot två elektriska navmotorer på 145 kW vardera som drivs av batterier. Batterierna laddas upp vid slutstationen mellan varje tur och retur. Om batterierna mot förmodan skulle ha för lite kapacitet under körning kan de även laddas upp via ett s.k. genset, som består av en dieselmotor med en generator. Ett generellt problem med elfordon är dock deras brist på spillvärme för uppvärmning av kupén, eftersom elmotorer har mycket högre verkningsgrad än förbränningsmotorer och energiomvandlingen inte innefattar någon förbränning. En vanlig dieselbuss har tillgång till spillvärme från kylningen av motorn, men även det är för lite för att klara uppvärmningen av bussen i kallare delar av världen som norra Sverige. Detta examensarbete syftar till att hjälpa Hybricon utreda hur stora värmeförlusterna är i elbussarna och därmed kvantifiera det maximala uppvärmningsbehovet samt att utreda hur mycket olika energieffektiviserande åtgärder skulle kunna minska uppvärmningsbehovet. Målet för Hybricon är att deras bussar ska kunna värmas upp utan hjälp av fossila bränslen efter framtida energieffektiviseringar. Elbussens dimensioneraden effekt för att motverka värmeförlusterna i originalutförande uppgår till 40-50 kW när dess dörrar är stängda. Den effekt som krävs när bussen har dörrar öppna är mellan ca 100 – 500 kW beroende på om en, två eller tre dörrar står öppna samtidigt. Genom att energieffektivisera där de största förlusterna finns i klimatskalet så kan värmeeffekten minskas med 22,4 % när dörrarna är stängda och 3,5 % när bussens dörrar är öppna. Det visar sig alltså att de största förlusterna sker när en eller flera dörrar står öppna på bussen. På många ställen i bussen men framför vid värmeförlusterna genom dörrarna måste omfattande energieffektiviseringar utföras för att minska effektbehovet för uppvärmning, om elbussarna ska kunna värmas upp på ett energieffektivt sätt och utan hjälpa av fossila bränslen.

Texto completoEnvironmental requirements in procurement of public transports regarding coaches is nowadays a natural part of public procurement. These requirements can be considered in different ways but is mainly found in the procurement document through requirements for technical specifications or for fulfilment of contract, but can also be used as an award criterion when awarding contracts. The demands follow from the paradigm shift that has been placed since the EU in the early 2000’s decided that environmental development was going to be considered as one of the most important objectives of the entire union. Environmental action programs such asEurope 2020have had a significant impact on procurement legislation. The LOU Directive and the Clean Vehicles Directive are now forcing the public transport authorities to impose ever higher demands for environmental effects. A prerequisite for setting high standards is that they can be controlled, clearly framed, compatible with the general principles and complies with the EU competition rules. The aim of the environmental requirements is to combine the highest effect of environmental measures at the lowest cost to the public. In order to achieve a successful and environmentally adapted procurement a thorough planning and analysis of the activities is required. The requirements must be designed in an objective way that allows control for the authority. Despite this, there is no obligation for the authority to declare that the requirements have led to any actual results regarding the environment. This sends out a bad signal and risks depleting the potential that the public sector has to drive towards reducing emissions and strengthen environmental innovation. The incentives of setting environmental requirements might therefore disappear if it does not matter whether it leads to positive environmental effects or not. In the essay it has been found that the applicable law provides a wide range of opportunities to set environmental requirements in procurement concerning public transportation by coach. Nevertheless, concerns have been expressed about how the purpose of the legislation does not live up to its effectiveness and that measures taken to reduce emissions of environmentally hazardous substances have not proved to be enough sufficient. In the essay there is a propose to abolish the so-called should rule on a national level because it does not fulfil any real function but rather limits the opportunities for public transport authorities in Sweden to set up high standards for environmental requirements. Today, the majority all requirements are compulsory, which the regional public transport agreements demonstrate. Proposals to impose solely mandatory environmental requirements have previously been expressed by the legislators as undesirable. Such positions come from former circumstances and conditions originating from practice that was developed at the beginning of this Century. Therefore, the legislation should be reformed and modernized so that it follows from the adopted environmental goals that the EU has jointly established with its member states. The public transport authorities are already obliged to consider life cycle cost either as a technical specification or as an awarded criterion. Consequently, it should not be impossible to impose mandatory environmental requirements at all levels nationally, or at least in the magnitude that can be justified through the legislation.

Texto completoTo control the equipment in different industrial vehicles various types of switches are used which are mounted on a operator panel. Individual signal cables are often connected from these switches to their respective equipment they are controlling. An alternative to avoid the large amount of cables this can lead to is to instead connect the switches to a microkontroller which in turn forwards the signals through a CAN-bus to a ECU which controls all units from a central position in the veichle. Texto completoChildren's mobility and the opportunity to get around the city on their own has decreased and is today limited to a large extent by unsafe traffic situations. Due to their limited independent mobility, children are excluded from the urban space and its facilities. Independent mobility can be related to several dimensions of children's social, physical, mental and cognitive wellbeing. The purpose of the study is to investigate if and in what way autonomous buses can contribute to children's independent mobility and, using children's experiences, provide insights into this before the introduction of autonomous buses in cities and public transport systems. To do so, the two research questions "How can autonomous buses in the transport system contribute to children's independent mobility?"and "What prerequisites are necessary for autonomous buses to contribute to children's independent mobility?" are answered. The survey is based on a case of introduction of autonomous buses in urban environments and to answer the questions three focus groups with students in a primary school were conducted with the aim of gaining the participants' experiences. The results indicate that the introduction of autonomous buses in an urban area can contribute to children's independent mobility in several ways and that the buses have certain characteristics that enable them to be adapted to children's conditions. Insights from the study can contribute to an understanding of in what way, from children's own perspective, independent mobility can benefit from autonomous buses in public transport, and how the service needs to be developed to adapt to this user group when autonomous buses are to be implemented to a greater extent in the city.

Texto completoOur research aims to characterize bushi (武士) culture as an integrated and internally differentiated system. This characterization is based on the study of the process of its historical development, formation and integration of its various components, from the end of the Heian period. We want to show along these stages its interaction with other cultures and society as a conglomeration of social relations. Of particular interest for our study are structural and functional changes experienced by the bushi culture within the framework of Tokugawa society and its further destination from the great social changes of the Meiji era to the present. Closely related to this, one particular aspect of our research is the study of the historical development of Japanese martial arts, and their cultural performance. Our doctoral thesis, besides the introduction and conclusions, consists of five chapters: the first examines the historical origins of the bushi warriors; the second, the establishment of the historical precedents of their culture during the Kamakura period; the third, the consolidation of bushi culture during the Muromachi period; the fourth, the development of combative technique or bujutsu (武術) during the Sengoku period (戦 国), in transit to the Edo period; and the fifth, the metamorphosis, experienced by that culture, consolidated in the Muromachi period, when it starts functioning in the frames of Tokugawa society, during a long period of peace, as well as in the bakumatsu (幕末) period with the arrival in Japan of the representatives from powerful countries of Europe and North America. The conceptual background of our doctoral thesis is the analysis of notions commonly used in the academic literature such as “warrior class”, “samurai class”, “buke society” (buke shakai [武家社会]) and “martial art”. Collaterally, throughout our thesis we make a historical-morphological study of Japanese martial arts and the main regularities of its development. Materials have been used primarily written in Japanese by both contemporary and ancient authors, among these, some codes of buke clans (武家家訓), two of which are examined and translated as part of the third chapter. To the extent that culturological approach, as a complement of the sociological one, aims to study the role of individuals in history when consciously trying to manage social processes, throughout our thesis we study several representative personalities of both bushi world in general and Japanese martial arts as well, and, in relation to this, we analyze the emergence and development of the educational system of the samurai.

Syftet var att utveckla ett gränssnitt för kommunikation mellan CAN-bus och USB/PS2 eller RS232. Gränssnittet sammankopplas med ett CAN-bussbaserat elsystem för marina installationer. Produktens uppgift var att utföra bildskärmsväxlingar på informationsskärmar ombord på fartyg. Genom att sända ett kommando till en bildskärmsväxel innehållande information om till vilken bild som skall växlas fram. Projektet gick enligt plan och en färdig produkt blev slutresultatet, benämnd UPS-B Ver. 1.0.

Texto completoThe company engcon Nordic AB produces equipment for the construction industry, where the product called tiltrotator is the heart of their business. To improve the use and simplify the installation, a literature study has been made that looks at two parts, first the function around CAN bus as the basis for a communication system and secondly various higher layer protocols (HLP) built on top of CAN. Why CAN bus was created and how the system works is important to understand in order to look at these overlying layers, called HLP (Higher Layer Protocol), which provides a kind of machine-human interface to work with. Different types of HLP can be J1939, ISOBUS or other. CAN bus is the de facto standard for vehicle networks where ECUs (Electronic Control Unit), called nodes, communicating on a common communication network, called bus. To do this, an ingenious technique has been developed to prioritize messages between nodes, which provides data loss-free arbitration. In CAN an advanced technique for error detection on the communication has been applied, and gives CAN the robustness to be applied in tough environment. As for various HLPs, a large number of these are available in different industries. Every one of these HLP has a common that they try to build a more or less user-friendly interface that can be implemented on top of CAN. For example, in the agricultural industry, the use of ISOBUS is common, which is an industrial standard that goes beyond competition to build a simple, user-friendly system that benefits the customer to the best possible extent. In automation, instead, CANopen is used, which is an open system that allows high interoperability between different units with so-called profiling. One last system used in a number of industries is called CanKingdom and is the most adaptable system in this project. In order to find out more industry-specific information about solutions and problems, an interview study was also conducted within the project. Here, various people were interviewed, active in different companies that are involved in CAN-based systems. This was done to look at relevant problems in their specific area. As a result, four options are specified which the project owner should look at in order to find a system that suits them. It is based on alternatives that either require access to the existing J1939 bus, or to build a more or less adapted model built on ISOBUS, CANopen or CanKingdom.
