Resumen
Induction machines are among the most widely used devices in industrial processes because they are robust and well suited for a wide range of applications. This critical role underscores the level of attention given to the early detection of potentially damaging faults. Given this important role, one would expect that undergraduate curricula in electrical engineering would devote some attention to the subject, but this is typically not the case. This paper presents an innovative way of presenting induction motor current signature (IMCS) analysis to undergraduate students within very limited time constraints. The signature analysis tool is developed in Matlab® and features two diagnostic methods. It offers electrical engineering undergraduates a very convenient environment in which to learn the basics of induction motor fault diagnosis.

Resumen
The paper presents the laboratory practicum on electrical engineering and physics worked out on the basis of the teaching guide on electrical engineering including 5 test benches. It includes 24 laboratory works with elements of independent research. The detailed and illustrated test benches of the training complex are the following: Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Electric Machines and Electric Drive, Electric Machine Assembly, Electric Energy, its Transmission and Quality, Principles of Electrical Safety. Some stands are connected to a software and hardware complex designed for measuring the studied values, reflection and processing of analog signals. The compactness and versatility of the training complex Electrical Engineering are noted; one can do 6–9 laboratory works on electrical engineering and physics at one stand. Mathematical calculations of the readings are recommended to perform in Mathcad computer algebra system. A manual based on the laboratory works, which contains general safety rules, guidelines for per-forming tasks and requirements for their processing, is now under consideration. The advantages of the elaborated laboratory workshop have been listed; the educational, developmental, pedagogical tasks for solving at the lesson have been analyzed; a laboratory work “Three-phase circuit connection in star scheme” is given as an example. The diagram of a star connection is presented; a vector diagram of linear and phase voltages relations in a star connection is built. The oscillo-grams of currents under symmetrical load are illustrated. It has been noted that the individual tasks have an exploratory nature, they develop cognitive, independent and creative skills of students. The proposed methodological guidelines are recommended for specialists and bachelors in such areas as “Ship and Power Plants”, “Shipbuilding”, “Heat and Power Engineering and Heat Engineering”, etc., and can be used by teachers of general engineering disciplines

Resumen
Measurement systems in industrial practice are becoming increasingly complex and the system-technical integration levels are increasing. Nevertheless, the functionalities can in principle always be traced back to proven basic functions and basic technologies, which should, however, be understood and developed. For this very reason, the teaching of elementary basics in engineering education is unavoidable. The present paper presents a concept to implement a contemporary training program within the practical engineering education on university level in the special subject area of optical coordinate measuring technology. The students learn to deal with the subject area in a fundamentally oriented way and to understand the system-technical integration in detail from the basic idea to the actual solution, which represents the common practice in the industrial environment. The training program is designed in such a way that the basics have to be worked out at the beginning, gaps in knowledge are closed by the aspect of group work and the targeted intervention of a supervisor. After the technology has been fully developed theoretically, the system is put into operation and applied with regard to a characterizing measurement. The measurement data are then evaluated using standardized procedures. A special part of the training program, which is to promote the own creativity and the comprehensible understanding, represents the evaluation of the modulation transfer function (MTF) of the system by a self-developed algorithmic program section in the script-oriented development environment MALTAB, whereby students can supportively fall back on predefined functions for the evaluation, whose implementation however still must be accomplished.

Resumen
This research is motivated by the difficulties of students in understanding bold learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, and students' difficulties in understanding basic electricity learning which is systematic, logistics full of symbols and surprising formulas during courageous learning. So this study is about the effectiveness of learning to dare to use online media in the subject of Basic Electrical Engineering at SMK 2 Payakumbuh. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of bold learning on the subject of Electrical Engineering Basics. The researcher carried out this research activity using a quantitative approach with the type of pre-experimental design type one group design (one group pretest posttest design). Multiple-choice written test questions are a data collection technique in the research process carried out. The proportion formula is an analytical technique that researchers use to determine classical learning completeness. Meanwhile, in order to find out how effective the bold learning process was before the learning activities, from the pre-test and post-test using effect size analysis using Cohen's formula. The result of this study is that learning using courage is effective as seen from the students' learning mastery and the result of the effect size test is large or effective, by knowing the various treatments.

Resumen
With the development of the times and the improvement of modern industrial technology, computer technology has been greatly developed, so a new concept has been put forward, that is, artificial intelligence. And the composition of modern life is mainly electricity, so in the current era, electronic technology has been rapidly developed. But the original electrical and electronic technology can no longer match today's intelligent technology, but electronic technology is the basis of the development of modern intelligent technology. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to use artificial intelligence technology to study the application of electrical engineering training and intelligent technology of electrical and electronic technology. After consulting the history of electrical engineering and the development, current situation and future development direction of electrical and electronic technology, this paper reviews the algorithms constructed by artificial intelligence and the basic operation of intelligent things. The improved adaptive parameter DBSCAN clustering algorithm is used to train electrical engineering and to make reference for the intelligence of electrical and electronic technology. The experimental results show that a good algorithm can speed up the training degree of electrical engineering and speed up the intelligent progress of electrical and electronic technology.

Resumen
Abstract The reviewed book is an introductory course on engineering acoustics designed for undergraduates with basic knowledge in mathematics. It is not written clearly enough but in my opinion is it a handbook for students of electrical engineering. Some parts of the material require the knowledge of the basics of electricity and magnetism. Particularly, there are chapters about electromechanical and electroacoustical analogies and electroacoustical transducers. It is not clear whether the course is intended for students who plan to specialize in acoustics or for those for whom this will be the only contact with engineering acoustics. In the second case basic information about physiology and psychology of hearing is missing. The book is divided into 15 chapters. The Authors write that each chapter represents material for two hours of lecture. The 15th chapter does not present a material for a lecture. It contains appendices: basic information about complex notation for sinusoidal signals, power and intensity, supplementary bibliography for self-study and exercises. In my opinion the exercises have various levels of difficulty and should be solved under the direction of a teacher. They are a very important part of the entire course.
