AbstractBased on bibliographical and documentary research, this essay reflects on the importance of a responsible attitude, reflection and action of the Lutheran church in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, confronting religious attitudes that, irresponsibly, deny the seriousness of the situation and dismiss results of scientific research and the recommendations for adequate behaviour stemming from them. With reference to Viktor Frankl and Martin Luther, the article promotes a discourse on tempting God implied in such attitudes, already present during the Protestant Reformation, and defends, with Dietrich Bonhoeffer, that the church’s place is in the centre of reality, in dialogue, solidarity and care. While churches need to close their temple’s doors, they must not retreat from their mission. Resumen
The COVID-19 pandemic may cause a nursing shortage. Prelicensure nursing students who are exposed to high-stress COVID-19 events are related to defective career decision-making. This study validated the COVID-19 attitude scale and clarified how their attitudes about COVID-19 affected their behavioral intentions toward career decision-making. We conducted a cross-sectional study and recruited a convenience sample of 362 prelicensure nursing students from Northern and Central Taiwan. Two measurements were applied, including the Nursing Students Career Decision-making instrument and COVID-19 attitude scale. We used AMOS (version 22.0) to perform a confirmatory factor analysis. The Cronbach α of the COVID-19 attitude scale was 0.74 and consisted of four factors. The most positive attitude was the nursing belief factor, and the least positive factor was emotional burden. Prelicensure nursing students’ COVID-19 attitudes were significantly positively associated with their career decision-making attitudes and perceived control (ß = 0.41 and ß = 0.40, respectively; p < 0.001). All the key latent variables explained significantly 23% of the variance in the career decision-making behavioral intentions module. In conclusion, the COVID-19 attitude scale is valid. Although the prelicensure nursing students’ COVID-19 attitudes had no direct effect on career decision-making intentions, they had a direct effect on career decision-making attitudes and the perceived control.

Resumen
Objective: It was aimed to evaluate COVID-19 disease perceptions, reasons for getting vaccinated, and attitudes towards COVID-19 vaccine of individuals who have been vaccinated against COVID-19. Methods: In our cross-sectional, descriptive study, people who came to Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital Vaccine Polyclinic between 01.02.2022 and 31.03.2022 and had COVID-19 vaccine were included in our study. Individuals under the age of 18, healthcare workers, people with active mental illness and those who could not communicate verbally were excluded from the study. Results: Of the personnel participating in our study, 282 (47.9%) were male and 307 (52.1%) were female. The results of the Scale of Attitudes Towards COVID-19 Vaccination, age, gender, education status, reasons for vaccination, next COVID-19 vaccination a statistically significant relationship was found between the variables of thinking about getting the vaccine and thinking that they have enough information about the COVID-19 vaccine (p=0.044, p=0.001, p=0.021, p<0.001, p<0.001, p<0.001). With the COVID-19 disease perception scale, education status, getting influenza vaccination, thinking about getting the next COVID-19 vaccine, thinking that they have enough information about the COVID-19 vaccine, There was a significant difference in the reasons for being vaccinated (p=0.021, p=0,031, p=0.015, p=0.017, p<0.001). A statistically significant relationship was found between the Attitudes towards the COVID-19 Vaccine Scale and the COVID-19 disease perception scale (p<0.001). Conclusion: As a result of our study, we found that individuals who vaccinated on a voluntary basis had positive COVID-19 vaccine attitudes and higher perceptions of COVID-19 contagion. In addition, we have shown that the attitude towards the vaccine and the perception of the disease affect the desire to have the next dose of vaccination. We think that the reasons for the negative attitude towards the vaccine and the inadequacy in the perception of the disease in the society should be determined and the necessary training should be given.

Resumen
Aims This study surveyed people regarding their acceptance of periodic doses (i.e., annual boosters) of the COVID-19 vaccine. Moreover, factors that correlate with attitudes toward periodic COVID-19 vaccines were assessed and identified. Method The study employed a cross-sectional methodology. The study questionnaire was distributed using Google Forms. Data were collected during the last quarter of 2021, and 1,416 adults (18 years old and over) from Jordan responded. Acceptance of COVID-19 periodic vaccine doses was calculated as a percentage of the total number of study participants, and their attitudes were scored. A multiple regression model was used to determine the predictors of public attitudes toward the annual dose of COVID-19 vaccines. Results The acceptance rate for receiving periodic doses of the COVID-19 vaccine was low (19.3%). Additionally, 26% of participants were unsure about receiving additional doses of the vaccine. However, 54.7% had a negative attitude toward getting periodic doses. The mean score for attitudes toward periodic doses was 47.9 (range: 29–66). Among the identified factors leading to decisions not to receive periodic doses were side effects (49.1%), waiting for further clinical studies (38.8%), and perceived no risk of contracting COVID-19 (17.7%). Regression analysis showed that income, educational attainment, and following the news about COVID-19 were predictors of participants’ attitudes toward the periodic COVID-19 vaccine. Conclusion Acceptance of periodic doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in Jordan is low, and the public’s attitude is generally negative. Health programs and educational interventions are needed to promote vaccine acceptance and positive attitudes.

Resumen
Background: Since the discovery of Covid-19, scientific developments, policies, and programs regarding Covid-19 have changed rapidly. In 2022 the Covid-19 vaccine arrived at the second booster. In Indonesia, various policies related to Covid-19 are also experiencing very rapid adjustments, such as the policy for travelling using public transportation, planes, trains, and ships that require the completeness of the Covid-19 vaccine up to boosters. These regulations make the Covid-19 vaccination a necessity that seems forced. Pregnant and postpartum women are also not free from the target of giving Covid-19. Various theories and research have proven that knowledge is related to attitude. Following this theory, knowledge and attitudes will align with the completeness of Covid-19. So if positive knowledge and attitudes affect the completeness of the Covid-19 vaccine, then it will not be affected by the Covid-19 vaccination obligation policy required by the Indonesian government.Purpose: To find out the relationship between Knowledge and attitude of accepting COVID-19 vaccine booster doses and third doses among postpartum women in Palembang, IndonesiaMethod: This study was quantitative. The design was analytical with a cross-sectional approach. The study samples consisted of 38 postpartum mothers in Independent Practice Midwife at Palembang. The complications of postpartum mothers were excluded. The sampling technique was accidental sampling. Results: There is no relationship between knowledge and accepting COVID-19 vaccine booster doses and third doses (p=0.348), but in the analysis, there is a relationship between attitude towards vaccination readiness and accepting COVID-19 (p=0.003), there is a relationship between attitude towards government policy and completeness of vaccination Covid-19 (p=0.004), there is a relationship between attitudes towards vaccines and accepting COVID-19 (p=0.015)Conclusion: There is no relationship between knowledge and accepting COVID-19, and there is a relationship between attitude and accepting COVID-19

Resumen
This study examines the relationship between media use and support/hesitancy towards the COVID-19 vaccine. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between social media and traditional media use and support/hesitancy attitudes towards the COVID-19 vaccine. We want to analyse how social and traditional media use as a news source is related to support and hesitancy attitudes. Furthermore, we want to see if media use as a news source has any relation to the trade-off attitude towards the COVID-19 vaccine. We have found a research gap in the COVID-19 pandemic and connection between social and traditional media use as a news source and support, hesitancy, and trade-off attitudes towards the COVID-19 vaccine. RQ 1: What is the relationship between social media use as a news source and support/hesitancy towards the COVID-19 vaccine? RQ 2: What is the relationship between traditional media use as a news source and support/hesitancy towards the COVID-19 vaccine? The method of this study is a quantitative survey regarding media use before and during the COVID-19 pandemic and support, hesitancy, and trade-off attitudes towards the COVID-19 vaccine. The population size is 201 Swedish citizens between the ages of 18-65. The sample was collected through a snowball sample. The study provides a theoretical framework consisting of crisis communication, misinformation, echo chambers, public opinion, and social amplification of risk. Furthermore, the study presents previous research which is similar to the study. The previous research presents some key findings such as social media use tends to increase during crises, how echo chambers can be increased by the feeling of fear, and research on attitudes towards vaccines. Previous research also presents how misinformation is being spread on social media and how the anti-vaccination movement takes advantage of the postmodern health paradigm which makes people turn to the internet with their medical problems. The study concludes that in some instances traditional media can have a positive relation to supportive attitudes and social media connects to some of the hesitant opinions towards COVID-19.

Abstract Purpose The purpose of the study was to investigate young Swedish consumers attitudes towards electronic payments.  To answer this purpose, two research questions were formulated: What factors influence young adults' attitudes towards electronic payment? How can young adults' attitudes towards electronic payment be described?  Method  As for the quantitative part, questionnaires have been used to collect data which have then been analyzed by using regression analyzes. For the qualitative part, in-depth interviews have been used to describe young adults' attitudes and acceptance of electronic payment. Result The results of the study showed that there were various factors that had an impact on young adults' attitudes and acceptance of using electronic payment. The factors that were correlated to age were Perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, risk, safety. Young adults' attitudes towards electronic payment were very positive and the respondents had a great acceptance of new forms of electronic payments. What the study has also concluded is that other people's influence had a small effect on other individual's attitude towards the usage of electronic payment. Factors that had a major impact on young adults' attitudes towards electronic payments was safety, speed, and ease of use.

During the pandemic COVID-19 the health care has suddenly been forced to adjust their work and start using video conference to keep the continuity, which also impacts psychotherapy. Despite extensive evidence of the efficiency of video conference psychotherapy there are still myths among clinicians that the therapeutic alliance can be endangered by the digital format, which can complicate the implementations. The aim of this study is to examine the psychotherapists' experiences of psychotherapy via video conference, with particular focus on the therapeutic alliance (TA). Through semi-structured interviews we examined the psychotherapists conceptions, adaptations and the experiences of this readjustment. Data were analyzed based on qualitative content analysis; Communication, The solid relation and the CBT-interventions. The main results indicated that the clinicians needed to adapt the treatment contextually, communicatively and in terms of content to frame TA, and that TA can be developed via video conference. This coincides with previous international research. Areas of development is the new phenomenon self-exposure and transformation/change of equalization of power.  The conversion has positively exceeded the expectations and has partly changed the respondents attitudes to therapy via video conference. Within the limitations of this study, implications and further directions for research are described.

One effect of this is that tourism is one of the fastest growing industries and international travel is gradually increasing. At the end of 2019, a new coronavirus occurred in Wuhan, China. The virus, named covid-19, coronavirus disease 2019, can be likened to a flu that causes respiratory problems. On 11 March 2020, the World Health Organisation (WHO) reported the new coronavirus as a pandemic. Covid-19 has been shown to have a devastating negative effect on the world economy and most industries, not least the hospitality industry. There is currently a dissuasion in Sweden from non-essential travel until 15 July 2020. Different attitudes may be created for this phenomenon. The purpose of the study is to investigate how swedish tourists' international travel behaviors may be affected after a pandemic. Two theories have been used to deal with behaviors and attitudes. Theory of reasoned action which is the main theory that describes the process of a chosen behavior, the complementary theory are push and pull factors. The study has a qualitative approach. The data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews. The selection is of the content 18 individual interviews. An interview guide was designed based on eight themes from the chosen theories. The study has given insight that there is a continued interest in travel, while the study also clearly shows that there is a change in travel behaviour in travellers. This behaviour is based on a change in attitudes towards travel that will affect what future travel will look like, which is something that should be taken into account for future crises that may affect the hospitality industry. What may be noticed after covid-19 is that travelers take more account of hygiene and the importance of protecting the environment when traveling.

Studies show that individuals over 65 years are underrepresented by those who utilizes digital health meetings. Since this is a relatively new research area there is not much previous research on how individuals’ attitudes towards digital health meetings in Sweden differ depending on age, and why. By conducting one study group with six respondents aged between 25-30, semi structured interviews with five older respondents aged between 63-75, and one semi structured interview with a Usability Specialist at Kry, this study aims to investigate how the attitudes differs between younger and older individuals, and how these attitudes are managed by digital healthcare actors. The results show that the younger respondents had a more positive attitude towards digital health meetings, mostly because of previous experience of the service. The physical contact proved to be more important to the older respondents in relation to trust. The younger respondents also experienced a normalized view of digital health meetings. To make older individuals experience a more normalized view of digital health meetings, they need more knowledge about the service. As the study was done during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, the virus is assumed to affect this, and hurry the normalization process of these services.

Resumen
This study is about Swedish consumers' travel behavior and how they approach travel during the ongoing pandemic COVID-19. The study examines how COVID-19 has affected Swedish consumers thoughts about travel, what factors affect Swedish consumers travel behavior during a pandemic and what attitudes Swedish consumers have to travel during COVID-19. In order to get answers to the present purpose and question, this study has been based on a qualitative method where semi-structured interviews have been conducted with 12 respondents who have some kind of connection to travel. The theoretical framework of the study is based on the Theory of planned behavior and concepts as crises and risks, risk perception, the role of the media in crises. The results showed that swedish consumers follow authorities recommendations and restrictions to avoid risks that may arise in connection with COVID-19. The results also show that swedish consumers perceive risk as something negative and that COVID-19 is more or less is perceived as a risk. Consumers feel that media and news updates causes concern through scary headlines. But at the same time, they have helped consumers to form their own perceptions. The swedish consumers travel behavior has changed as the results also show that swedish consumers follow the travel advice of the authorities.

Background: Infectious diseases due to viruses often originate from infected humans and animals and have for a long time been a major threat to humans and society. In December 2019, a new coronavirus was discovered which has been named SARS-CoV-2 and causes the disease Covid-19. This leads to a pandemic and quickly puts great pressure on healthcare globally. Being a nurse during a pandemic has proven to be challenging but also rewarding. Aim: The aim was to examine the experiences of registered nurses caring for COVID-19 patients. Method: The method is a literature review based on 7 qualitative, 2 quantitative and one mixed article. The articles were obtained in the databases CINAHL Complete and PubMed, published in the last 2 years with the keywords Nurses, Experience, Attitude, Nursing, Nursing care and Covid-19. The analysis method used was Friberg's and Henderson's nursing theory was used as a model. Results:The analysis identified three themes. To work under threat of infection, to perform nursing in challenging circumstances and changed view of the nursing profession. Conclusion: Nurses who worked with care of Covid-19 patients experienced that lack of experience led to clinical nursing suffering. The fear of becoming infected affects them both mentally and physically. It was an ethical dilemma to perform care of infectious patients without adequate protective equipment. The support from society and patients has strengthened nurses' profession. Keywords:Attitude, Covid-19, Experience, Nurses, Nursing, and Nursing care.

Title: Being forced to work from home – A focus on how having to work from home following the covid-19 pandemic has affected the employee’s performance and social work life Authors: Ivan Cavar and Malin Jansert Supervisor: Aliaksei Kazlou Background: Because of the recent Covid-19 pandemic many employers had to make the decision to recommend or even force employees to work from home. For some it was an easy transition, for others a real challenge not only by the means of whether one can actually perform their work at home, but also concerning what happens to us when we remove all the necessary social interactions we experience everyday with colleagues and other people connected to the workplace. Aim: The purpose of our research is to understand how the forced shift in working remotely has affected the employees’ attitude towards the professional and social aspects of the workplace. It aims to determine crucial personal and external factors influencing the attitude of said employees, and why (and if) their opinion about their workplace has changed. This paper aims to contribute to the field of external shock in organizations and sudden organizational change. Having waited with the theoretical framework until we had good overview of what the results looked like, we have found the research by Lee and Mitchell (1994) about employee turnover to be relevant to our findings. Although most research about employee turnover concerns itself with turnover per se, we still find the theories discussed relevant as the prerequisite to turnover is attitude changes among employees which is exactly what we want to look at and contribute to. The main contribution of this paper will be to look at how the changes in working routines have affected the specific employee, and how this in turn has affected the employee’s opinion about their workplace. We hope to give a glimpse of how these specific workplaces have been affected and find reasons as to why this might have happened to better understand what factors influence the opinion about the workplace.Completion: To gather information about the perceived changes by employees, a qualitative study has been conducted through 13 interviews among two companies with jobs being based in government administration and academia. The different types of work give us good insight in how the same process has affected professions differently. Conclusion: The professors were affected by the change to a larger extent than the administration employees. Different employees were affected in different ways, but what affected everybody was a loss of social interactions as well as a new outlook on how to perform work.

Resumen
AbstractEnvironmental attitudes have the potential to affect environmental behaviors, which in turn can affect action toward current and future global environmental targets. Recent large-scale surveys find that developing countries, which account for most of the growth in greenhouse gas emissions, have high levels of pro-environmental attitudes. Respondents from developing countries state that they perceive climate change as a major global threat, that climate change directly influences their voting decisions, and that they consider climate change as big a risk as COVID-19. Respondents from developing countries with lower per capita emissions, more educated respondents, and those who have been exposed to extreme weather events tend to have more pro-environmental attitudes. However, high levels of pro-environmental attitudes do not translate into high levels of environmental performance for developing countries, as measured by a comprehensive environmental performance index. Respondents report changes in individual actions to limit their effect on climate change but tend to focus on easier behavioral changes that have a relatively low environmental impact.

Resumen
Until 2020, arbitration hearings usually presumed a physical presence of all participants in one room. Although hearings conducted by way of remote communication, i.e., virtual hearings, have been technically possible for several years, their use was limited at best. Due to travel restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the situation changed rapidly and virtual hearings came into the focus of the arbitral community. Mindful of the changing attitudes, this paper firstly discusses attributes of the virtual hearings, their advantages and challenges. Furthermore, with the benefit of the hindsight, the second part looks at how the arbitral institutions handled the “new normal” imposed by COVID-19 in terms of the guidance provided to the tribunals and parties.

Resumen
Objective: In this study we aim to evaluate the attitude of pregnant women in Jordan towards COVID-19 vaccines, and to investigate the determinants for their attitudes. Method: : An analytical cross-sectional survey was carried out at King Abdullah University Hospital between July and December 2021.We utilizied a self-administered questionnaire that included closed-ended items covering demographic characteristics, clinical and obstetric characteristics, attitudes towards COVID- 19 vaccination, and potential predictors of vaccine acceptance. Results: The number of eligible participants living in the northern region in Jordan was 393 pregnant women, where 10.17% reported vaccine acceptance, 12.21% were hesitant, 77.60% completely rejected the vaccine, 27.22% indicated their acceptance of their physicians” vaccination recommendation during pregnancy, 54.19 % were against it, leaving 18.57% of participants hesitant towards taking the vaccine. Conclusion: Our results of this study disagree with the results of otter recent studies in that pregnant women tended to have a high level of COVID-19 vaccine acceptance, and it highlights the need for public health promotional campaigns to promote acceptance of COVID-19 vaccine by pregnant women. Keywords: COVID-19, pregnancy, attitudes, determinants of attitudes.

Resumen
A delay in accepting or a refusal of vaccination despite the availability of vaccination services is referred to as vaccine hesitancy. Vaccine hesitancy has gained increased attention, particularly since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The most commonly used framework in studies of vaccine hesitancy and its determinants has been the 5C model. The 5C model posits that the five individual-level determinants influencing vaccine hesitancy are confidence, complacency, constraints, calculation, and a feeling of collective responsibility. However, other factors that may also be important in influencing vaccine hesitancy, such as sociodemographic and psychological determinants, have received less attention. Objectives: This study analyzed 1) the effectiveness of the 5C model in predicting the COVID-19 vaccination decision and 2) the association between COVID-19 vaccination decisions and the fear of being infected with COVID-19, attitude toward the media’s COVID-19 vaccination information, monetary incentives, political attitudes, perception of Hong Kong’s future, and attitude toward the vaccination advice of authorities (government officials and healthcare professionals). Methods: This study used data collected in an online questionnaire distributed from May 2022 to June 2022 during the fifth wave of the Omicron variants in Hong Kong. The questionnaire had 32 items measuring the COVID-19 vaccination status, demographic characteristics, the five determinants of the 5C model, and the following six additional factors: 1) fear of being infected with COVID-19, 2) attitude toward the media’s COVID-19 vaccination information, 3) monetary incentive, 4) political attitudes, 5) perception of Hong Kong’s future, and 6) attitude toward the vaccination advice of authorities. Results and Conclusions: For the 5C determinants, only confidence was significantly positively associated with COVID-19 vaccination, whereas complacency, constraints, and collective responsibility were associated when a relaxed p-value (p ≤ 0.25) was used. For the six additional factors, only attitude toward the media’s COVID-19 vaccination information was significantly positively correlated with vaccination status, and when a relaxed p-value (p ≤ 0.25) was used, a fear of being infected with COVID-19, political attitudes, and perception of Hong Kong's future was found to be associated. There was no evidence that calculation, monetary incentives, attitude toward the vaccination advice from authorities, or demographic characteristics were associated with COVID-19 vaccination decisions. The collinearity analysis among the 5C determinants and six additional factors suggested that the six new variables are additional determinants of vaccination decisions.

Resumen
There is no doubt that prior to Covid-19 outbreak the issue of migration had been one of the top priorities across the European Union, especially after so-called ‘’refugee crisis’’ of 2015-2017. However, the situation rapidly changed since Covid-19 outbreak, when migration has fallen off the radar as a political issue. The aim of this paper is to analyse students' attitudes towards migrants, in the period before COVID-19, and our initial thesis is that the fact that attitudes towards migrants are rooted in individual values and when established can be resistant to change. The paper consists of three parts. In the first part of the paper, we give an overview of available reports on the impact of Covid-19 to public attitudes towards migrants. Although is too early to make some general conclusions about it, the surveys made so far show that external factors, such as Covid-19, does not make important changes to public attitudes towards migrants. Having this in mind, in the second part of the paper we present the results of our research which was developed as a part of the project ''Creating Welcoming Communities'' of the Association ''MI''. The purpose of this research was to identify the attitudes of students of the Faculty of Law Osijek for the acceptance and integration of migrant into society. The target group of survey participants covered by the research was defined so as to include students of different levels (Intergrated Undergraduate and Graduate Study Programme, Professional Administrative Study Programme, University Undergraduate Study of Social Work) and the sample of students included 300 persons. Finally, in the third part of the paper we give a synthesis of our research and a review of the topic from the perspective of human rights and social work in the community.

Resumen
"One of the major concerns among the relevant public authorities during the 2019 coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic is the attitude and behavior of the Malaysian society regarding compliance with self-care Covid-19. Although the number of Covid-19 cases is decreasing, public authorities, such as the Malaysian Ministry of Health continually remind people to adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Covid-19 to reduce the number of cases. To support the authorities’ efforts, a one-day self-care Covid-19 programme involving 10 youths (3 males & 7 females) with a mean age of 17.35 (SD=3.36) was implemented in Bongol village, Tamparuli. To adhere the Covid-19 SOP regulation which prohibits a large number of people from gathering in a confined, crowded and closed spaces, only a few participants were involved. The programme, which was conducted at the Bongol village community hall, involved various organized activities emphasising the three elements of attitude: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Before the programme began, all the participants were registered, and their body temperatures scanned to ensure that they were free from any Covid-19 symptoms. Each participant was given a mask and a small bottle of hand sanitiser that could be used throughout the programme. The activities comprised an ice-breaker, a talk on personal self-hygiene, a 20.02-minute self-care video produced by 28 psychology students, personal self-reflections by the participants, a group exercise, a community song, and a two-way discussion on self-care. The Covid-19 self-care programme, implemented with guidance from the Yale Attitude Change Model, emphasizes the practical issue of ‘who says what to whom and with what effects. The participants’ attitude was measured before and after they completed the one-day programme. The results of a Wilcoxon signed-ranked test study showed that there is a significant difference between the participants’ pre- and post-study attitudes towards self-care. The study results showed that the Covid-19 self-care programme, which is based on the social psychology approach, can help foster positive youth attitudes towards self-care. In regard to the authorities’ efforts to lower the number of Covid-19 cases to zero, it is suggested that each party needs (either governmental and non-governmental agencies) to support the Covid-19 campaign and programme by sharing and delivering self-care messages in creative ways to Malaysian communities, especially those in rural areas."

Resumen
Background: COVID-19 is a global pandemic since March/2020. The number of cases in the last update on the 4th of september/2022 reached 604 million cases worldwide. Humanity is currently experiencing one of the worst epidemics due to Coronavirus Disease 19 (COVID-19). Objective: Our study aims to evaluate knowledge, practice, and attitudes toward COVID-19 and its vaccine. The study targeted the Arab society, which is a young and diverse society. Methods: A cross-sectional study where a 30-item survey was used. A total of (9008) surveys were selected randomly and analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Results: 30% of respondents believe that COVID-19 is man-made and launched for political purposes. 63% do not trust approved government sources. 26.7% consider the COVID-19 vaccine to be neither effective nor safe, although 85.2% of them have received it or will soon have it. Knowledge of waste management and infection control procedures was significantly associated with gender (P = .002 and < .001), education (P = .03 and .053), and work experience (P = .035 and .008), respectively. Conclusion: Our insight that analyzes the factors that influence awareness regarding COVID-19 and the vaccine will help us identify gaps in their knowledge and response, and through this we can focus and try to solve problems and raise awareness and thus, will ultimately help us get out of this pandemic with the best results possible. Resumen
"E-health has transformed healthcare by improving access and reach of health services, which is now more critical than ever given the COVID-19 pandemic. One aspect of e-health is the delivery of health interventions via the internet or through smartphone apps, known as digital interventions (DI). These DI can improve physical and mental health for people, by modifying behaviour and improving illness management. Despite, the benefits of DI use remains low. One explanation for this low usage is people’s attitudes towards DI. Indeed, having a positive attitude towards DI is associated with an increased likelihood of wanting to engage with DI. Therefore, people’s attitudes towards digital interventions are important in understanding if people are willing to engage with them. To date, limited research exists about attitudes and much of this varies based on region and population. Along, with understanding people’s attitudes it is important to understand what shapes people’s attitudes towards these interventions. Therefore, this study sought to determine New Zealand (NZ) adults’ attitudes towards DI and what shapes these attitudes. In order to address these questions a cross-sectional survey was used. Results indicate that NZ adults have neutral to somewhat positive attitudes to DI and their attitudes are influenced by common factors including: beliefs about accessibility of DI and the COVID-19 experience. These findings suggest that some NZ adults have a positive attitudes to DI, but overall people’s attitudes needed to be addressed to ensure people are ready to use DI."

Resumen
The Covid-19 pandemic led to a large increase in poverty in Bangladesh, especially in urban areas. Rising food prices and high inflation rates further compounded already high levels of socioeconomic uncertainty. Social protection is vital to help mitigate the effects of crisis and make households more resilient to uncertainty. This paper provides insights into urban residents’ experiences of poverty and the support they received since the Covid-19 pandemic, and derives implications for social protection programming in urban Bangladesh. Using secondary longitudinal data collected since the start of the pandemic with new quantitative surveys and qualitative data collected in Kallyanpur, Dhaka and Shantinagar, Chittagong in March 2023, the study points to high levels of precarity; poverty’s toll on mental health; widespread stigmatisation and discrimination of residents of low-income neighbourhoods, and inadequate social protection support. It argues for the need to expand social protection in urban areas; counter area-based discrimination; ensure dignified delivery of assistance, and provide an integrated policy response.

Resumen
A key question facing governments is whether the pandemic has changed attitudes towards taxation and what this means for tax reform. Given that the history of tax policy in high-income countries reveals a link between periods of crisis and significant shifts in attitudes towards taxation, could the same be true in low-income countries? Little research has been done on this potential dynamic and taxpayer perceptions of progressive tax reform in these contexts is not well understood. In this paper we explore the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on attitudes toward taxation and unpack what the crisis reveals about the dynamics and politics of taxation. We use novel survey data from Sierra Leone collected before the pandemic, shortly after the pandemic’s onset, and for almost a year afterwards. Summary of Working Paper 166.
