Resumen
In robotic industry, today, interactions between human and machine usually consists of programming and maintaining machine using human operator. Using a robotic system in any industry for work provides precision and a certain level of accuracy. A robotic entity such as a robotic arm will not ask for time out and can work efficiently day and night which will in turn increase efficiency in workplace. In this paper, we have explained about an arm created, which works in such a way that while the robotic arm is working, camera is able to identify any object it sees which is taken care by the worker looking over the arm. The major outcome and result is the increased efficiency in workplace, precision and accuracy in low cost which can also be used for house hold chores too.

Resumen
Augmented Reality (AR) technology enables users to superpose virtual content onto their environments. However, interacting with virtual content while mobile often requires users to perform interactions in mid-air, resulting in a lack of haptic feedback. Hence, in this work, we present the ARm Haptics system, which is worn on the user's forearm and provides 3D-printed input modules, each representing well-known interaction components such as buttons, sliders, and rotary knobs. These modules can be changed quickly, thus allowing users to adapt them to their current use case. After an iterative development of our system, which involved a focus group with HCI researchers, we conducted a user study to compare the ARm Haptics system to hand-tracking-based interaction in mid-air (baseline). Our findings show that using our system results in significantly lower error rates for slider and rotary input. Moreover, use of the ARm Haptics system results in significantly higher pragmatic quality and lower effort, frustration, and physical demand. Following our findings, we discuss opportunities for haptics worn on the forearm.

Resumen
Stroke is a major cause of disability in worldwide and also one of the causes of death after coronary heart disease. Many devices had been designed for hand motor function rehabilitation that a stroke survivor can use for bilateral movement practice. This paper deals with the rehabilitation of upper arm by an Arm exoskeleton. This can be used for physical therapy and to assist the user with routine activities. Ultimately, the user should feel as if they are in control of their arm without too much effort while providing smooth movements depending on the direction that is desired.

Resumen
Commenting on the flap over George W. Bush's visit to Bob Jones University during the 2000 primary election campaign, journalist Hendrik Hertzberg claimed that even staunch conservatives decried the South Carolina college's ban on inter-racial dating as “indefensible.” “This may seem unremarkable,” he noted, ”until one reflects how far it was from being the case a generation or two ago, when miscegenation was racism's trump card and even the most enlightened Americans, black and white, took it for granted that sexual fear was its unkillable heart.” Hertzberg seems unduly optimistic - violence against the bodies of racial “others’ continues to splatter across the American landscape, from the Rodney King beating to the Amadou Diallo shooting. The police rape of Abner Louima illuminates how power, not sexuality, informs such assaults.

Resumen
Many robotic systems are comprised of two or more arms. Such systems range from dual-arm household manipulators to factory floors populated with a multitude of industrial robotic arms. While the use of multiple arms increases the productivity of the system and extends dramatically its workspace, it also introduces a number of challenges. One such challenge is planning the motion of the arm(s) required to relocate an object from one location to another. This problem is challenging because it requires reasoning over which arms and in which order should manipulate the object, finding a sequence of valid handoff locations between the consecutive arms and finally choosing the grasps that allow for successful handoffs. In this paper, we show how to exploit the characteristics of this problem in order to construct a planner that can solve it effectively. We analyze our approach experimentally on a number of simulated examples ranging from a 2-arm system operating at a table to a 3-arm system working at a bar and to a 4-arm system in a factory setting.

Resumen
Electromyogram (EMG) signal reflect the electrical activity of human muscle and contains information about the structure of muscle. Furthermore, motor unit action potential (MUAP) is the results from spatial and temporal summation of difference muscle fibers of a single motor. The EMG signal results, in turn is from the summation of different MUAPs which are sufficiently near the recording electrode. EMG signal can identify the differences between signals from bicep, triceps and forearms during exercise. Raw data from the experiment is vital to assist physiotherapy to understand when the subject fatigue of noise high pick signal during rehabilitation. Several normal subjects were selected to perform experiments to understand the pattern of fatigue in early state, middle stage and last stage of exercises.

Resumen
To test the applicability of a dye-dilution method to quantitate total arm blood flow at rest and during arm exercise, indocyanine green was infused at a constant rate into the brachial artery. Eight subjects performed continuous 30-min arm exercises with an increase in intensity every 10 min (30, 60, and 90 W). The loads corresponded to 29 +/- 1, 48 +/- 2, and 78 +/- 4% (means +/- SE) of the maximal O2 uptake (VO2max 2.13 +/- 0.08 l/min) during arm exercise. VO2max during arm exercise was 61 +/- 1.7% of that during leg exercise. The dye concentration was analyzed in blood samples from three arm veins, two ipsi- and one contralateral, at shoulder level. Corresponding dye concentrations in both ipsilateral veins and a stable concentration difference between ipsi- and contralateral veins were achieved. Total arm blood flow was calculated to be 0.21 +/- 0.04 l/min at rest and 2.43 +/- 0.14 l/min at 90 W. Arm O2 uptake rose from 9 +/- 2 to 323 +/- 21 ml/min. Arm blood flow and O2 uptake each correlated linearly with both work load (r = 0.98) and pulmonary O2 uptake (r greater than or equal to 0.98). Mechanical efficiency for the arm and body was 34-44 and 16-19%, respectively. We conclude that arm blood flow can be determined by continuous infusion of indocyanine green.
