This work is to show the quintessence of the literality incarnated in the modern French literalism by analysing Meschonic's and Berman's theories. First of all, the modern literality is characterized by the recognition of the cultural dimension of the translating act, which is well expressed by literalists' review on the ethnocentric tendancy. Our work on Berman's "translation of the letter" and Meschonic's "poetic translation" has presented the reconciliation between the literality and the poeticity as one of the characteristics of the modern literality. Finally the confrontation of the literality theory with the interpretative theory of translation has revealed the conflict between linguistic and literary orders on their theoretical reflection

Para dar visibilidade à co-educação, cultura escolar e seus limites no Ginásio Barão de Antonina, este estudo optou por analisar as normas e práticas escolares, como as disciplinas, regimentos, leis, decretos, desfiles cívicos, tudo o que foi produzido e reproduzido por aquela instituição de ensino, para entender os saberes e habilidades escolares. Trata-se de uma instituição privada de ensino secundário, localizado em Mafra, ao norte do Estado de Santa Catarina, mantida por uma associação privada e laica chamada Associação Mafrense de Ensino, mantenedora do Ginásio. Este fez parte, na primeira metade do século XX, da fase de crescimento de instituições de ensino secundário no território catarinense e foi um dos poucos a oferecer um ensino co-educativo. Ofereceu, naquele período, para o gênero masculino:internato e externato; e para o gênero feminino, apenas o externato. O foco desta pesquisa está centrado no período compreendido entre os anos de 1942 e 1952. Através da categoria Cultura Escolar, tentou-se compreender: a interpretação do ensino co-educativo na Lei Orgânica do Ensino Secundário nacional de 1942 e as possíveis implicações da lei no currículo do Ginásio; o tratamento dado pela Associação Mafrense de Ensino àquele tipo de educação; as divergências entre os educadores do período sobre aquele tema; as disciplinas escolares oferecidas, como a Educação Física, Trabalhos Manuais e Economia Doméstica, que eram diferenciadas por gênero, e as outras disciplinas escolares da grade curricular, comuns aos gêneros; a co-educação e a formação de habilidades através dos limites físicos, normas, regulamentos, uniformes, exercícios, exames, certificação, atividades cívicas e extracurriculares. Além disso, procurou-se distinguir os limites e as formas diferenciadas do ensino co-educativo, atestadas pelas famílias e concretizadas no Ginásio e compreender as relações sociais, no processo de incorporação da cultura escolar, nos mais variados espaços do educandário. Como única instituição de ensino da região norte de Santa Catarina e sul do Paraná, o Ginásio Barão de Antonina, através de um conjunto de saberes e habilidades, funcionou como normalizadora dos anseios dos grupos sociais que o frequentavam. Através das disciplinas e práticas escolares, imprimiu nos alunos e alunas um conjunto de habilidades que teve por fim a formação co-educativa desigual. A co-educação funcionou como um verniz, pois era utilizada no Ginásio para adequação do número de matrículas em cada série e não como um ensino verdadeiramente co-educativo. O currículo, através dos saberes e das práticas escolares, objetivava a formação de homens patrióticos, que tinham como função social futura a direção de seus negócios, de suas carreiras públicas e privadas; e de mulheres capacitadas para realizar com dedicação a função de esposas e mães e dar apoio às aspirações profissionais ou políticas de seus futuros maridos

The HIFRENSA settlement is a residential complex built to accommodate workers of Vandellòs-I nuclear power plant. It also has a number of facilities at neighbourhood scale. The set is connected by pedestrian crossings with public squares and road scheme in cul-de-sac. In 1967 Antonio Bonet was commissioned to build the settlement, the administrative offices and other technical buildings on nuclear power plant site . The thesis exposes Bonet as architect researcher. At HIFRENSA settlement, a clear line between architecture and urbanism cannot be drawn. Bonet searches an universal solution. with a type or pattern definition as an element liable to be improved, refined, systematized and prefabricated. The pattern can mutate either to accommodate a construction system or for another needs, topographic, climatic or programmatic. Particularly in Bonet’s work, also to meet a higher requirement: its urban planning support. The greatest difficulty lies on the definition of an order judgment that can give a higher shape to the units, dwellings or facilities , with the intention of avoiding a monotonous urban complex and lack of identity.

In the referendum of June 2nd, 1946, the Italian voted for a Republic, which appeared as an abstraction for the majority of them. Moreover, the Constituent Assembly did not define precisely the field of action of the Head of State. After twenty years of fascism, the debates were dominated by the fear of a ‘strong man’ and the refusal of a presidential model. The Republic was therefore born as a institution under constraint: according to the main interpretation of the time, it was a 'super partes' institution that was to interfere as little as possible in the public scene. However, this interpretation changed deeply during the four mandates of Enrico De Nicola (1946-1948), Luigi Einaudi (1948-1955), Giovanni Gronchi (1955-1962) and Antonio Segni (1962-1964). The analysis of these four presidencies reveals the growing politicization of the presidential function. Far from being a passive actor, the Head of State intervened in both domestic and international affairs. His influence depended on the government’s weakness and on his relations with the Prime Minister. In some situations, he managed to impose his candidates and programme when the Parliament was unable to come to an agreement. Lastly, the Head of State became both the author and actor of the ceremonies that structure the civil calendar. By ‘self-staging’ his function and thanks to his numerous trips to the Italian provinces (313 trips between 1946 and 1964), he certainly laid the basis for the spreading of the republican ideal in Italy

The discoveries in physics, at the beginning of the XX th century, have inspired many artists, as indicated by the writings of Theo van Doesburg, Jean Hélion, Georges Vantongerloo, Salvador Dali, etc. As examples of the convergence of art and science, mathematical models are three-dimensional forms created by nineteenth century mathematicians to depict complex algebraic functions. Attracted by the beauty and the expressive power of these models, the Surrealists presented them in their 1936 exhibitions in Paris, London and New York; Man Ray has photographed and painted them; Max Ernst has incorporated them in his collages. Introduced in the art world, these models loose their mathematical content and acquire a new meaning. Astronomy is honoured in the iron wire abstract sculptures that Alexander Calder presented in 1931 at the Percier Gallery in Paris, as well as in the paintings and constructions of Vantongerloo. Max Bill has built the “Ruban sans fin” with the Möbius ring. This thesis is focused on ruled surfaces such as developable surfaces, hyperbolic paraboloids etc. That the Constructivists Antoine Pevsner and Naum Gabo have chosen as constitutive elements for their sculptures. Thanks to their curvature, these forms combine geometric and organic aspects. Our analysis shows that these curved surfaces generated by straight lines are the privileged means to inscribe the movement, the time, the fourth dimension in their construction. Pevsner and Gabo used the ruled surfaces as plastic means to build a curved four-dimensional space-time

A) Introducción
La Tesis Doctoral estudia la obra poética de Antonio de Zayas Beaumont, duque de Amalfi (1871-1945), comprendida entre 1892 y 1902, Poesías (1892), Joyeles bizantinos (1902) y Retratos antiguos (1902), precedida de una biografía del autor. Poeta de notable repercusión entre la juventud modernista de principios de siglo XX y diplomático de una ascendente carrera profesional. Para el análisis de la obra de Antonio de Zayas se sitúa la misma en su momento literario. Los años de mayor relevancia del autor se desarrollan en la etapa finisecular, donde tuvo una importante participación en la cultura de entre siglos y en la renovación literaria que supuso el Modernismo, y publica las obras más representativas del Parnasianismo hispánico.
B) Metodología
Los escasos y breves estudios sobre la obra poética de Antonio de Zayas coinciden en destacar el injusto olvido de su figura en la Historia de la Literatura y su adscripción casi exclusiva al Parnasianismo entre las diversas formas que adoptó el Modernismo hispánico.
Entre sus primeros críticos, figuran las reseñas elogiosas de los hermanos Machado, Manuel y Antonio, o Ramón Pérez de Ayala. Entre los círculos modernistas se aplaude la novedad de su poesía, como expresan las evocaciones de Francisco Villaespesa o Rubén Darío.
La edición de una antología poética en 1980 por J. M. Aguirre despertará tímidamente los estudios sobre el escritor en algunos artículos publicados en los años sucesivos y establecerá sus principales características, que tienen en su parnasianismo el motivo más destacado: Luis Antonio de Villena (1981), Fernando González Ollé (1982), Allen W. Philips (1989), Roberto Mansberg Amorós (1992), y la edición crítica de una antología poética a cargo de Amelina Correa (2005). Más recientemente, los artículos de Juana María González Martínez (2007) y Carlos Primo (2010).
El análisis de este trabajo se documenta con las obras del propio escritor, los estudios que de él se han elaborado, semblanzas del Modernismo y su época, y otros materiales bibliográficos.
C) Conclusiones
"Poesías" (1892): obra muy cercana a sus modelos decimonónicos, pero interesante porque pueden rastrearse algunas de las futuras inclinaciones del autor, como son los temas históricos y ecfrásticos.
"Joyeles bizantinos" (1902): análisis del poemario en relación a su estilo parnasiano y sus confluencias simbolistas, orientalistas y decadentistas.
"Retratos antiguos" (1902): La estética parnasiana preside el motivo de la écfrasis. Se estudian las correspondencias poético-pictóricas.
La obra poética de Antonio de Zayas se adscribe, con los poemarios de 1902, "Joyeles bizantinos" y "Retratos antiguos", con la renovación literaria del Modernismo hispánico y resulta un caso único y esencial para el estudio del parnasianismo y el tratamiento de la écfrasis.

Resumo: Este trabalho busca um entendimento acerca da presença cênica na obra de Antônio Nóbrega, desde o plano material dos elementos de representação presentes na música, na dança, na teatralidade, até a dimensão simbólica que tais elementos refletem. A dissertação inicia-se com a conceituação da presença cênica como representação da realidade, partindo da idéia das ações fisicas como elemento transformador da realidade e criador de espaço simbólico, criando um jogo de representação que revela o universo estético do artista. Em seguida desenvolve-se uma breve biografia de Nóbrega, que passa pelo Movimento Armorial, analisando e procurando revelar o universo estético que está na base da formação do artista. Sob o prisma conceitual da presença cênica e do contexto histórico no qual se enquadra o artista, segue-se uma análise do espetáculo Madeira Que Cupim Não Róe, buscando um esclarecimento das relações entre a música, a dança e a teatralidade presentes no espetáculo e na atuação do artista. Por fim há uma análise do jogo de representação presente na obra, a unidade de discurso, sua relação com a arte popular e o processo criativo
Abstract: This work search an understanding concerning the scenic presence in Antônio Nóbrega's work, from the material plan of the present representation elements in the music, in the dance, or in the theatricality, until the symbolic dimension that such elements contemplate. The dissertation begins with the conception of the scenic presence as representation of the reality, leaving of the idea of the physical actions as element transformer of the realityand creator of symbolic space, producing like this a representation game that reveals the artist's aesthetic universe. Soon afterwards the research present an abbreviation biography of Nóbrega, that goes by the Armorial Movement, analyzing and trying to reveal the aesthetic universe that it is in the base of the artisfs formation. Under the conceptual prism of the scenic presence and of the historical context in which the artist is framed, an analysis of the show "Madeira que Cupim Não Róe", looking for an explanation of the relationships among the music, the dance and the present theatricality in the show and in the artist's performance. Finally an analysis ofthe game ofpresent representation in the work, the unit of speech, the relationship with the popular art and the creative process

Under the shield of modern architecture, the competencies of visual programming and industrial design were merged by the hands of architects João Carlos Cauduro and Ludovico Antonio Martino, through the creation, development, and implementation of systemic projects of environmental and corporate identity. In São Paulo, in the 1960s and 1970s and circumscribed by the apex of the modern paradigm this total design not only yielded important and long standing visual identities for the Brazilian productive and operational sectors, but also materialized iconic public spaces for the metropolis, corroborating the consolidation of those projects paradigmatic matrices in the last instance. These matrices, at that moment, introduced in the society a typological and methodological knowledge, reiterating an old ideology and bringing the architect closer to his civil functions within the citys new needs for information and communication.

[ES] El conjunto de planes escolares realizados por el franquismo durante 40 años, dejaron en la ciudad de Elche un elevado número de centros escolares en el que concurren numerosos aspectos que lo convierten en un patrimonio arquitectónico de primer orden. En primer lugar destacar que el conjunto de la arquitectura escolar llevada a cabo en la ciudad durante el régimen de Franco alcanza a ser reflejo y testimonio de buena parte de la evolución y transformación de la arquitectura española de esos años. Hasta el final de la década de los sesenta la práctica totalidad de la arquitectura escolar de la ciudad la llevaron a cabo Serrano Peral y Pérez Aracil, el primero en su condición de arquitecto escolar y el segundo como arquitecto municipal. Su obra se convierte en testimonio de las vicisitudes de la arquitectura española tras la guerra civil, hasta el inicio del desarrollismo español. Tras ellos, Serrano Brú, hijo de Serrano Peral, llevó a cabo a continuación toda la arquitectura escolar pública de la ciudad, pudiéndose seguir en la misma la transformación y devaneos de la arquitectura española de la década de los setenta, una vez que los principios sagrados del Estilo Internacional dejaron de serlos. Junto a la obra de los principales protagonistas del periodo de investigación ya citados, otros edificios y otros arquitectos nos permiten completar el panorama de la arquitectura española de la época. La construcción escolar en la ciudad en el franquismo contó con el impulso decidido y continuado del alcalde Vicente Quiles. Su presencia a partir de mitad de la década de los sesenta, el periodo de mayor construcción escolar, permite contar con un hilo conductor sobre el que ordenar la historia. El conjunto constituye un número lo suficientemente numeroso y homogéneo de obras para estudiar, a partir de él, la influencia que el marco político, socioeconómico, pedagógico y legislativo tuvo sobre el edificio escolar. En el conjunto de la obra escolar de la ciudad veremos la evolución del modelo pedagógico que va del modelo autoritario del primer franquismo que se materializa en las escuelas unitarias y graduadas, a la breve ilusión de la escuela flexible y personalizada de la Ley General de Educación. También el emplazamiento de la escuela en la ciudad es objeto de nuestro interés en la medida que la arquitectura, y muy especialmente el edificio escolar, es una potente herramienta de construcción de la ciudad. Su emplazamiento en huertos de palmeras, en entornos consolidados y sobre todo en entornos periféricos tiene importantes consecuencias en el uso, transformación e imagen de la ciudad, Las fuentes documentales primarias de los archivos profesionales y municipales de las obras escolares junto con entrevistas, visitas a los edificios, y reportajes fotográficos nos han permitido asomarnos a un conjunto de obras, cuyo principal interés, al margen de la consideración arquitectónica de cada una de ellas, es el de constituir un periodo homogéneo y completo de la arquitectura de la ciudad ( tanto en su especificidad escolar como en sentido general) y todo ello a su vez, en el contexto de la arquitectura española de su época.
[CAT] El conjunt de plans escolars realitzats pel franquisme durant 40 anys, deixaren en la ciutat d'Elx un elevat nombre de centres docents on concorren nombrosos aspectes que el converteixen en un patrimoni arquitectònic de primer ordre. En primer lloc, destacar que el conjunt de l'arquitectura escolar portada a terme en la ciutat durant el règim de Franco arriba a ser reflex i testimoni de bona part de l'evolució i transformació de l'arquitectura espanyola d'eixos anys. Fins a la fi de la dècada dels seixanta la pràctica totalitat de l'arquitectura escolar de la ciutat la portaren a terme Serrano Peral i Pérez Aracil, el primer en la seua condició d'arquitecte escolar i el segon com arquitecte municipal. La seua obra es converteix en testimoni de les vicissituds de l'arquitectura espanyola després de la guerra civil, fins a l'inici del desenrotllament espanyol. Darrere d'ells, Serrano Bru, fill de Serrano Peral, portà a terme a continuació tota l'arquitectura escolar pública de la ciutat, on es pot seguir la transformació i passatemps de l'arquitectura espanyola de la dècada dels setanta, una vegada que els principis sagrats de l'Estil Internacional deixaren d'existir. Junt a l'obra dels principals protagonistes del període d'investigació ja citats, altres edificis i altres arquitectes ens permeten contemplar el panorama de l'arquitectura espanyola de l'època. La construcció escolar en la ciutat durant el franquisme contà amb l'impuls decidit i continuat de l'alcalde Vicente Quiles. La seua presència a partir de la meitat de la dècada dels seixanta, el període de major construcció escolar, permet comptar amb un fil conductor sobre el qual ordenar la història. El conjunt constitueix un nombre suficientment nombrós i homogeni d'obres per a estudiar, a partir d'ell, la influència que el marc polític, socioeconòmic, pedagògic i legislatiu tingueren sobre l'edifici escolar. En el conjunt de l'obra escolar de la ciutat veurem l'evolució del model pedagògic que va del model autoritari del primer franquisme, que es materialitza en les escoles unitàries i graduades, a la breu il¿lusió de l'escola flexible i personalitzada de la Ley General de Educación. També l'emplaçament de l'escola en la ciutat és objecte del nostre interés en la mida que l'arquitectura, i molt especialment l'edifici escolar, és una potent ferramenta de construcció de la ciutat. El seu emplaçament en horts de palmeres, en entorns consolidats i sobretot en entorns perifèrics té importants conseqüències en l'ús, transformació i imatge de la ciutat. Les fonts documentals primàries dels arxius professionals i municipals de les obres escolars juntament amb entrevistes, visites als edificis i reportatges fotogràfics ens han permés abocar-nos a un conjunt d'obres, l'interés principal de les quals, al marge de la consideració arquitectònica de cadascuna d'elles, és el de constituir un període homogeni i complet de l'arquitectura de la ciutat (tant en la seua especificitat escolar com en sentit general) i tot això a la seua vegada, en el context de l'arquitectura espanyola de la seua època.

What can, logically, be expected from a traductological discourse is its usefulness to the practice of translation. In other words, it helps us to translate better. But the discourse of Antoine Berman, an eccentric and singular one, the subject of this research, pursues a deeper purpose. Here, the translation exceeding a simple practice, tends to become a “task”. Having a fragmentary understanding of the world - result of the fragmentation of the language - Antoine Berman sees the translation as the only way that, by overcoming the fragmentation, makes reveal the “meaning of the world”. Hence, his commitment to a “project” to which he devotes his entire life. But the concealment by Berman this “project” behind a traductological discourse, to ensure him a better fulfillment, makes that the unveiling of the “project” will become the primary goal of any encounter with his “traductology”. This is especially true given that behind this discourse, we will discover a “mystical” man for whom the mystification is a voluntary position

Over the past few years, many works have been done on “French Gaullism” as well as on “partisan gaullists”. Besides the numerous studies on French Général de Gaulle, these works focused mostly on the political party which claimed the political ideas of the man who called to resistance with the “Appeal of 18 June”. What will be primarly explored in this work is the era which followed the Général’s resignation from power on the 27 april 1969, up to the year 1992, which saw, at a national level, the French Maastricht Treaty referendum divide gaullists on the European issue, as well as, at a local level, the election of Antoine Rufenacht as head of region, following another gaullist, Roger Fossé. Our approach here is therefore quite original as it is a territorial study of a political party, and it explores the regional example of Haute-Normandie. As a result, our analysis will combine different scales of observation, from national to municipal, as well as regional, local and district scales. Thus, one of our main goal is to question ourselves on the singularity of the Normandy region, compared to the national standard. A close examination of the regional adherent structures will allow us to illuminate the organisation of a local political party, and to evaluate the possible independence from the national structure. Finally, we will discuss the state of “French Gaullism”, one generation after the retirement of its leader, through the exploration of references to the Général de Gaulle, of the “gaullist” movement itself, as well as of the evolution of its fondamental principles. Furthermore, the emerging of a new french political actor in the mid-1980s, the far-right party “Front National”, forces those who refer as “gaullists” to adapt to this new political polarisation. In order to conduct this study beyond the usual sources, that is to say press articles, rare sources, that have never been used before, will be put under scrutiny. As a result, we will benefit from reports by the « Renseignements Généraux », which are decisive to clearly define what political life means inside a political party, at a local scale. In this thesis, the scientific, educational and cultural work of Antonio Pedro Rodríguez Pérez (1912-1964) is studied, as one of the last representatives of the Neurohistological Spanish School. That school continued the works of the Medicine Nobel awarded, Santiago Ramón y Cajal. There are 141 published works. 89 of them are research reports, some of which were done with the collaboration of lecturers and classmate disciples of Tello. 46 of them are morphologic and 2 morpho-physiological; 39 were checking reports, mainly about synapse; another 14 are other type of publications, including textbooks, educational books, literary rehearsal and biographies. Synapse reports on glial cells and also on chemical components, on sensory recipients of skin and on aortic and carotid glomus are qualitatively significant, as well as the works about the culture of Hansen bacillus in pathological anatomy.

Resumo: Este trabalho pretende examinar a trajetória institucional e intelectual de Antonio Candido no período compreendido entre 1961 e 1978, quando ele se torna o principal professor, orientador e responsável do curso de Teoria Literária e Literatura Comparada na Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Em particular, proponho descrever em detalhe a estrutura e dinâmica organizacional interna desse núcleo acadêmico, levando em consideração, de um lado, o regimento disciplinar, a estrutura curricular, as características específicas de seu quadro docente, o conteúdo das disciplinas oferecidas e, de outro, as áreas e linhas temáticas de pesquisa desenvolvidas e os mecanismos envolvidos na construção da identidade profissional de seus membros componentes. Em seguida, examino as principais características morfológicas do grupo de discípulos reunidos ao redor de Candido e confronto o perfil particular da área em relação aos outros segmentos, pesquisadores e projetos críticos em disputa no seio do campo acadêmico paulista. Por fim, discuto alguns dos principais ensaios de Candido, procurando caracterizar a procedência teórica que inspira os modelos sociológicos neles subjacentes
Abstract: This dissertation intents to analyse the institutional and intellectual trajectory of the literary critic Antonio Candido when he becomes, between the years 1961 and 1978, the main teacher, guider and responsable for the area of Teoria Literária e Literatura Comparada into the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). In particular, this work focuses on the academic structure and dynamics of the area, considering, on one hand, the disciplinar regiment, the curricular structure, the specifics characteristics of its docent group, the disciplinar contents and, on the oder hand, the research themes and areas and the mechanisms responsables for the build of the professional identity of its members. In sequence, the it explores the principals characteristics of the disciple¿s group around Candido and the relationships of the area with others segments, researchers and critics projects presents into the São Paulo¿s academic field. Finally, the work discusses Candido¿s principals papers analyzing the theorical source that inspires theirs underlyings sociologicals models

Our study deals with the subjunctive mood in three French novels of the 20th century : Thérèse Desqueyroux by François Mauriac, La Voie royale by André Malraux and Terre des hommes by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The hypothesis propounded to explain the use of subjunctive is as follows : the use of the subjunctive is a sign of the existence of an underlying process of thought antithetic to that expressed. Every use of the subjunctive in the three novels is thus analysed syntactically in independent, main, noun, relative and circumstancial clauses ; they are also studied semantically according to the ideas conveyed by the main verb or by the context. At the end of each chapter, a table recapitulates the various uses of the subjunctive studied. Through this study, we distinguish between the uses of the subjunctive peculiar to each of the three writers considered, in concrete literary examples, and the general use of the subjunctive

This research aims to analyze the content in the newspapers Zero Hora and Correio do Povo between the years 1975 and 1979, when these newspapers approached the events in Angola during Agostinho Netos’s government, MPLA’s leader and state’s head of the first independent government in Angola after independence. It seeks to identify the methodology, criteria, forms of approach and analyzes critically the content in the newspapers in Rio Grande do Sul in times of extreme polarization in the international politics, when there was a military conservative regime dominating Brazil. The aimis to analyze primarily the relation between censorship and the content of the journals, the role of the International Agencies and their news, own articles or republished by these newspapers and their columns, specially sent journalists and other means of communication. Events like the cuban presence in Angola, the relation between Angola and the USA, the angolan borders and their conflicts, the internal civil war against FNLA and UNITA headed by MPLA and Neto’s president, the political crises of the MPLA, the reviews and the political balance in Zero Hora and Correio do Povo about the angolan context, the internal juridical situation and the international recognition achieved for Angola are the main targets in the news of this period and the critical object of this research.

Drawing his inspiration from the deportation of the Acadians in 1755, Henry W. Longfellow wrote a poem entitled "Evangeline" in 1847. Its success turned into a myth and its heroine became the symbol of Acadia. The myth resurfaces in works of 19th century literature includind its incarnation in the character of Eva in H. Beecher Stawe's "Uncle Tom's Cabin" (1852). It reappeared in the 20th century in the fiction of the Southern novelist W. Faulkner and the Acadian writer A. Maillet who both probethe relationship between the myth and the Acadian reality and conclude that the romantic and puritanical heroine is not suitable symbol for Acadia. Faulkner examines all aspects of the myth and his reflection leads him to coclusions about myths in general and their effect on group' collective imagination. A Maillet's fiction is entirely devoted to the de-mythifying her people. Using Faulkner selectively as a model she creates a new fictional Acadia that she pits against that of longfellow

Antoine Berman's work has acquired a preeminent position within translation studies from the very beginning. I intend to show that his '"traduetologie" or theory on translation is also fully part of the philosophical discourse. I will start my discussion by analyzing the content of the lecture that Antoine Berman heId at the College International de Philosophie during the winter semester of the 1984 - 1985 academic year dedicated to the reading of « The task of the translator » by Walter Benjamin that is considered the 20th century's masterpiece of philosophical thinking on translation. The text of this lecture that I recently edited together with Isabelle Berman - is the last in Berman's production. It contains almost ail the topics of his “traductologie" and is a very original work philosophically based upon Walter Benjamin's thought on translation. Berman comes to the conclusion that. In its essence, translation is Darstellung, in the sense of representation and explanation. This is something that he often repeats. However he seems to fail to underline that the very concept of Darstellung is a crucial philosophical matter for Walter Benjamin. My hypothesis is that if we see Berman 's work in the light of the concept of Darstellung that in Walter Benjamin 's thinking is considered nothing else than the method and the form of philosophy - then we may also admit that translation could acquire a preeminent role within the philosophical discourse. Translation may thus be considered a practice that can relate to thought with the capacity to show and suggest the possibility of an experience that is well more original than language

Entre los años de 1960 y 1980, las Dictaduras Militares implantadas en la América Latina suprimirán las libertades individuales y establecieran un régimen de excepción que mucho afectó la producción cultural en el continente. En contrapartida, en el teatro y en la literatura, varios fueron los autores y grupos teatrales que se dedicaran a escribir y llevar a las calles y escenarios ideales y cuestionamientos banidos de los medios de comunicación de masa, de la educación escolar y universitaria. La presente pesquisa es una análisis de los textos dramáticos Gota d’ água (Brasil, 1975, Chico Buarque de Hollanda y Paulo Pontes) y Lo crudo, lo cocido, lo podrido (Chile, 1978, de Marco Antonio de la Parra), y de las condiciones contextuales de producción, ambos escribidos y escenificados durante el periodo dictatorial en Brasil (1964-1985) y en Chile (1973-1990). La pesquisa es de carácter bibliográfico, cualitativa y comparatista. Tiene como uno de sus principales objetivos comprender el proceso de creación literaria de Chico Buarque, Paulo Pontes y Marco Antonio de la Parra, en la condición de intelectuales latino-americanos comprometidos. Por lo tanto, intenta identificar las motivaciones históricas, estéticas e ideológicas que orientaran la producción y la fortuna de las piezas en análisis.

Este texto é um relato sobre duas experiências realizadas durante minha permanência no Programa de Pós Graduacão do Instituto de Artes da Universida de Estadual Paulista, onde pude desenvolver dois trabalhos práticos e relacionados com disciplina ministrada por meu orientador: Práticas Contemporâneas da Instalação e Site Specific. No primeiro, um projeto de Site Specific tendo como referência as paisagens litorâneas do pintor Benedicto Calixto. Já no outro trabalho, uma Instalação apresentada na Galeria do Instituto de Artes e que homenageia o artista plástico Nelson Leirner. Ambos são resultado de minha pesquisa sobre apropriação, citação e autoria na arte, e estabelecendo conexões poéticas com a História da Arte.
This paper is a report on two experiments performed during my stay in the graduate program of the Art Institute of São Paulo State University, where I developed two projects and related subject taught by my mentor: Contemporary Practices Installation and Site Specific. In the first, a draft site specific with reference to the landscapes coastal painter Benedicto Calixto. In the other work, an installation presented at the Institute of Arts Gallery and honors the artist Leirner. Both are the result of my research on ownership, citation and authorship in art, poetry and establishing connection with History of Art.

The thesis written in French by Spanish researcher Jaime Céspedes Gallego, «The Spanish literary autobiography during the 1990s», contains three parts. The first one summarizes the critical theories about autobiography from both structuralist and deconstructionist scholars. The second one shows the main tendencies in the history of Spanish autobiography from the end of the Middle Ages until the present times. Finally, four autobiographers from late XXth century in Spain are studied: the political autobiography of the former minister Jorge Semprún, the intellectual autobiography of psychiatrist Carlos Castilla del Pino, the queer autobiography of the novelist Terenci Moix and the poetical autobiography of Antonio Martínez Sarrión, one of the famous 1970s “novísimos”. This research sets out to provide both an overview and a detailed evaluation of the life and work of the brazilian painter antonio Bandeira (1922-1967), whose short career, which began in a provincial town, spanned brazil and europe. In 1946, a study grant allocated by the french govemment gave him the opportunity to spend a year in paris. In fact he stayed for five years, and subsequently decided to divide his time between Rio de Janeiro and the french capital, where he died in 1967 at the age of 45. We aim to examine closely the relations built up by Bandeira and the french art world during his three stays in paris (1946-1951,1954-1959,1964-1967), and to look at the different points when his art was received in brazil. We will also attempt to situate his work compared to that of his contemporaries and to trace the broad outline of the debate in brazil in the 1950s between representation and non-representation painting on the one hand, and between geometric and informal abstraction on the other. Despite the limitations of Bandeira's work - which in our view lacks coherence and unity - the vast majority of brazilian art critics have until now seemed determined to present him in a resolutely favourable light. Moreover, the aura of mystery surrounding the development of his career abroad has led a fair number of researchers to be taken in by the nationalist myth of his international fame. It was therefore necessary to ask why this benevolent reasoning, indulgent and biased attitude, and the inordinate celebration of Bandeira have never really been called into question

We will analyze three French theories of translation (Danica Seleskovitch, Antoine Berman and Jean-René Ladmiral) in our work. We will try to answer the question by our study: how is the translation theorized in the contempory time? What interests us most is the way of thinking the translation: the angle chosen to study the translation, the ground of observation, the questions which are studied in these three theories and the evolution of each theory. We would like to place this work in the framework of the meta-theoretical studies. We hope that it will help to understand the stakes of theorizing the translation in the contempory time. The experience of translation as the basis of the translation studies plays always an important role in the theorization of translation. It concerns especially the question of epistemology in the translation studies. The experience of translation is not used in the same way in these three theories. The question of to-be-translated (what should be transfered from the source text to the target text) is a central subject in the discussion about translation, because to define and to redefine this problem is the most powerful ̎engin" in theorizing the translation. The discussion about the to-be-translated involves the questions such as the sens, the effect, the litteralism and the ethics in the translation studies. The translation studies in the contemporary time are rather a field of reflexity. The philosophy as a discours of authority in the humains sciences influences the thoughts about translation

This thesis poses the study of the detective dramatic subgenre in the period of the Franco dictatorship (1939-1975). A chapter is dedicated to characterize the detective dramatic subgenre and to establish its connections with the novel, the movies and the detective radio serial in the historical period studied. A later chapter is dedicated to contextualize the postwar detective theater in the history of the theatre in the corresponding period. In the most extensive part of the thesis, a Spanish and foreign detective play corpus is established, and the plays are chronologically ordered by decades and by authors, released mostly in Madrid during the Franco dictatorship. Detective plays by Spanish playwrights, such as Enrique Jardiel Poncela, Jacinto Benavente, Juan Ignacio Luca de Tena, Alejandro Casona, Claudio de la Torre, Miguel Mihura, José Antonio Giménez Arnau, Antonio Lara de Gavilán ("Tono"), Alfonso Sastre, José López Rubio, Víctor Ruiz Iriarte, Alfonso Paso, Jaime de Armiñán, Luis Escobar, José María Pemán, Juan José Alonso Millán or Jaime Salom, are analyzed thoroughly in addition to other detective plays of less well-known playwrights. A conceptualization on the detective theatrical genre is established in the following chapter, always referred to the the Franco dictatorship period. In an independent chapter, special attention is provided to one of these plays, Dawn, by Antonio Buero Vallejo. A list with a lot of detective plays performed along the period of the Franco dictatorship is shown. This thesis concludes the existence of a detective theatre in the scene of the Franco dictatorship.

Resumo: O objetivo desta tese é demonstrar a hipótese de que categorias centrais elaboradas nos Cadernos do Cárcere provêm da assimilação crítica de conceitos elaborados por Georges Sorel no período de uma trajetória pessoal em que o pensador francês encontrava-se envolvido na produção revisionista de sua época, em diálogo direto ou indireto com ela. Consideramos as categorias de "bloco histórico", "mito" e "cisão de classes" como emblemáticas a respeito. Além disso, são os mais agudos representantes do pensamento revisionista na Europa a "vanguarda do pensamento adversário", a qual cumpria chamar em desafio para, assimilando seus momentos mais elaborados, superá-la criticamente conferindo um novo vigor à filosofia da práxis. Supomos ser esta uma das vias perseguidas por Gramsci nos Cadernos. De nossa parte, procuraremos apontar e discutir os momentos de apropriação e assimilação crítica, por parte de Gramsci, do pensamento revisionista representado, sobretudo, por Georges Sorel. Antes disso, porém, seguiremos a constituição daquele pensamento, desde seus momentos mais conhecidos, a partir da Alemanha, passando pelas suas expressões mais importantes na França e na Itália para, após compreendermos historicamente seu contexto "marginal" (ou seja, fora da Alemanha), alcançarmos o debate que nos compete de forma mais central, qual seja Georges Sorel nos Cadernos do Cárcere como um importante depositário da herança revisionista
Abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to demonstrate the hypothesis that central categories present in Prison Notebooks come from the critical assimilation of concepts developed by Georges Sorel, in a personal trajectory in which the French thinker was involved in the revisionist production of his time, in direct or indirect dialogue with her. We consider the categories of "historical block", "myth" and "class scission" as emblematic. Furthermore, are the most acute representatives of revisionist thinking in Europe the "vanguard of the opponent's thought", which fulfilled the call in defiance to assimilating their more elaborate moments, overcome it critically conferring a new force to the philosophy of praxis. This is assumed to be a persecuted way in the Prison Notebooks. We will point out and discuss the moments of critical assimilation and appropriation by Gramsci of the revisionist thinking represented, above all, by Georges Sorel. Before that, however, we will follow the constitution of that thought, since their best-known moments, from Germany, through its most important expressions in France and in Italy for, after we understand historically its "marginal" context (i.e. outside of Germany), we can achieve the debate that we consider in a more central point of view, which is Georges Sorel in Cadernos do Cárcere as an important depository of revisionist inheritance

In this research the slight knowledge of alimentary security are presented, sovereignty and the dynamics of groups quilombolas through the analysis and quarrel of the alimentary diet and its transformations in the communities of the Cacau and Santo Antonio from the study of the ways of acquisition, social relations and its influence in the health of populations. The feeding system of the localities passes for a process of change occasioned, over all by the exhaustion of the nature resources associated with the population growth and the external pressure on the territories making it demands for more financial resources for its acquisition, what contributes in negative way in the diet, beyond causing changes in the alimentary habits. The feeding effect on social groups diet is demonstrated through a nutritional evaluation executed among the families members (adult, adolescent and children). Thus a comparison among the research results in the two communities is done so that the differences and the singularities in relation to the alimentary and nutricional security are observed.
Nesta pesquisa apresentam-se as noções de segurança alimentar, soberania e a dinâmica de grupos quilombolas através da análise e discussão da dieta alimentar e suas transformações nas comunidades do Cacau e Santo Antônio a partir do estudo dos meios de aquisição, relações sociais e influência na saúde das populações. O sistema de alimentação das localidades passa por um processo de mudança ocasionado, sobretudo pelo esgotamento dos recursos da natureza associado ao crescimento populacional e à pressão externa sobre os territórios fazendo com que se demande por mais recursos financeiros para a sua aquisição, o que contribui de maneira negativa na dieta, além de ocasionar mudanças nos hábitos alimentares. O efeito da alimentação na dieta dos grupos sociais é demonstrado através de uma avaliação nutricional realizada entre os membros das famílias (adultos, adolescentes e crianças). Assim se faz uma comparação entre os resultados da pesquisa nas duas comunidades de maneira que se observem as diferenças e as singularidades em relação à segurança alimentar e nutricional.

The work of Dr. Juan Antonio Martínez Ladrón de Guevara in medical journalism from Murcia (1915-1932). The present paper examines part of the Medical Journalism from Murcia in the first third of the twentieht century. It has been performed a statistical, as well as formal, editing and compositional analysis of three journals which are interrelated to each other by its founders (Murcia Médica 1915-1918, Revista de Tisiología y Especialidades 1919-1926, y Levante Médico 1928-1932), in addition to a prosopographical study of its editors and other prominent authors from Murcia. This study represents the beginning of the in-depth knowledge of the health journalism in the Region of Murcia, a global study, focused on the scientific publications and the professionals responsible for them. The existing issues of the journals have been found in Spanish newspaper and periodical libraries and archives, scientific articles and other published contents have been catalogued, furthermore a thesaurus has been developed in order to analyze the scientific activity of authors. The predominant speciality in the scientific articles which have been studied is the microbiology/infectious diseases where tuberculosis is the most common pathology.
