Resumen
It is common to implement challenge-response entity authentication with a MAC function. In such an entity authentication scheme, aggregate MAC is effective when a server needs to authenticate many entities. Aggregate MAC aggregates multiple tags (responses to a challenge) generated by entities into one short aggregate tag so that the entities can be authenticated simultaneously regarding only the aggregate tag. Then, all associated entities are valid if the pair of a challenge and the aggregate tag is valid. However, a drawback of this approach is that invalid entities cannot be identified when they exist. To resolve the drawback, we propose group-testing aggregate entity authentication by incorporating group testing into entity authentication using aggregate MAC. We first formalize the security requirements and present a generic construction. Then, we reduce the security of the generic construction to that of aggregate MAC and group testing. We also enhance the generic construction to instantiate a secure scheme from a simple and practical but weaker aggregate MAC scheme. Finally, we show some results on performance evaluation.

Resumen
Establishing a mesoscopic numerical model to investigate the mechanical properties of concrete has very important significance. This paper considers the random distribution of aggregate in concrete. The aggregate is assumed to be spherical, respectively, to simulate the interface layer as the entity unit or the contact elements. The random aggregate model and the interface model of random aggregate were established. Based on the CT image and the application of MATLAB and MIMICS software, the different characteristics of the concrete model for 3D reconstruction were set up. Through comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of different models, considering the CT number included in the CT images, this paper establishes the reconstruction model, which includes the shape of concrete aggregates, gradation, holes, etc. The analysis results have shown that the model can infer realistic concrete behavior, providing a new approach for studying concrete properties at the mesoscale.

Resumen
With the emergence of online music platforms, music recommender systems are becoming increasingly crucial in music information retrieval. Knowledge graphs (KGs) are a rich source of semantic information for entities and relations, allowing for improved modeling and analysis of entity relations to enhance recommendations. Existing research has primarily focused on the modeling and analysis of structural triples, while largely ignoring the representation and information processing capabilities of multi-modal data such as music videos and lyrics, which has hindered the improvement and user experience of music recommender systems. To address these issues, we propose a Multi-modal Knowledge Graph Convolutional Network (MKGCN) to enhance music recommendation by leveraging the multi-modal knowledge of music items and their high-order structural and semantic information. Specifically, there are three aggregators in MKGCN: the multi-modal aggregator aggregates the text, image, audio, and sentiment features of each music item in a multi-modal knowledge graph (MMKG); the user aggregator and item aggregator use graph convolutional networks to aggregate multi-hop neighboring nodes on MMKGs to model high-order representations of user preferences and music items, respectively. Finally, we utilize the aggregated embedding representations for recommendation. In training MKGCN, we adopt the ratio negative sampling strategy to generate high-quality negative samples. We construct four different-sized music MMKGs using the public dataset Last-FM and conduct extensive experiments on them. The experimental results demonstrate that MKGCN achieves significant improvements and outperforms several state-of-the-art baselines.

Resumen
Entity Resolution (ER) is the problem of algorithmically matching records, mentions, or entries that refer to the same underlying real-world entity. Traditionally, the problem assumes (at most) two datasets, between which records need to be matched. There is considerably less research in ER when k > 2 datasets are involved. The evaluation of such multipartite ER (M-ER) is especially complex, since the usual ER metrics assume (whether implicitly or explicitly) k < 3. This paper takes the first step towards motivating a k-tuple approach for evaluating M-ER. Using standard algorithms and k-tuple versions of metrics like precision and recall, our preliminary results suggest a significant difference compared to aggregated pairwise evaluation, which would first decompose the M-ER problem into independent bipartite problems and then aggregate their metrics. Hence, M-ER may be more challenging and warrant more novel approaches than current decomposition-based pairwise approaches would suggest.

Resumen
Proteinase-K resistant prion protein (PrPres) has the property to aggregate in TSE-injured animal tissues. We have developed a test method to discriminate scrapie-infected and mock-infected hamsters by detecting the PrPres in plasma. It seemed that aggregation of the PrPres with some heterogeneous molecule(s) enabled successful detection by this method. In order to investigate which molecule became the partner in the PrPres aggregates; we examined some molecules that could presumably have this ability. As a result, we found synthetic Poly-A RNA, especially in its denatured form, to be the most effective entity although glycoprotein, sulfated polysaccharide showed less effectiveness. DNA in the denatured form also has a high affinity, although in the presence of protein the effectiveness unsuccessful. On the basis of this result, it is possible that the PrPres aggregate in scrapie-infected hamster plasma is composed of PrPres and RNA.

As a growing number of applications represent data as semantic graphs like RDF (Resource Description Format) and the many entity-attribute-value formats, query languages for such data are being required to support operations beyond graph pattern matching and inference queries. Specifically the ability to express aggregate queries is an important feature which is either lacking or is implemented with little attention to the peculiarities of the data model. In this paper, we study the meaning and implementation of grouping and aggregate queries over RDF graphs. We first define grouping and aggregate operators algebraically and then show how the SPARQL query language can be extended to express grouping and aggregate queries.

Resumen
In order to improve utilization rate of high dimensional data features, an ensemble learning method based on feature selection for entity resolution is developed. Entity resolution is regarded as a binary classification problem, an optimization model is designed to maximize each classifier’s classification accuracy and dissimilarity between classifiers and minimize cardinality of features. A modified multiobjective ant colony optimization algorithm is employed to solve the model for each base classifier, two pheromone matrices are set up, weighted product method is applied to aggregate values of two pheromone matrices, and feature’s Fisher discriminant rate of records’ similarity vector is calculated as heuristic information. A solution which is called complementary subset is selected from Pareto archive according to the descending order of three objectives to train the given base classifier. After training all base classifiers, their classification outputs are aggregated by max-wins voting method to obtain the ensemble classifiers’ final result. A simulation experiment is carried out on three classical datasets. The results show the effectiveness of our method, as well as a better performance compared with the other two methods.

Resumen
Few-shot knowledge graph completion (FKGC) task aims to infer missing entities or relations by using few-shot support instances in the knowledge graph. Existing FKGC methods focus on the learning of few-shot relation representations, which are obtained by aggregating the neighbor information of each entity. However, most of these models take the entity's neighbor relations and entities as the same hierarchy and do not make fine-grained distinctions, resulting in entity embeddings with low expressiveness, which may further decrease the quality of learned few-shot relation embeddings. Moreover, many of those models directly use the concatenation of the entity embeddings as the relation representations, and neglect the valuable interaction between relations. In this paper, we propose a fine-grained relational learning framework IDEAL for few-shot knowledge graph completion task. Specifically, we first propose a unique hierarchical attention encoder to aggregate the neighbor information of each entity from two levels, i.e., the entity-relation level and the relation-entity level. Then a relation recoding validator is proposed to formulate the interaction between different relations. Instead of obtaining the few-shot relation representations by using the entity embeddings, the relation recoding validator module aggregates the neighbor relations of each entity to encode the few-shot relation, which can reduce the over-dependence on specific entities in the few-shot relation encoding phase. The relation recoding module is also extended with respect to the excellent performance of the transformer in modeling sequence information. We then introduce a transformer encoder to extract underlying and valuable sequence information between relations. Extensive experiments are conducted on two datasets, i.e., NELL and Wiki. The experimental results demonstrate that our model outperforms state-of-the-art FKGC methods. Besides, we devise the ablation study to demonstrate the effectiveness of each key component. The case study also shows the interpretability of our model intuitively.

Resumen
In this article I engage with the provisions of the Insolvency Act 24 of 1936 regulating the dissolution of the universal partnership upon insolvency. Our common law prefers an aggregate approach to partnerships, meaning that a partnership enjoys no separate legal personality distinct from its composing partners. The lack of separate legal personality of a partnership is described by some academics as a ‘remarkable defect’. The Insolvency Act however creates an exception to this general rule by deeming a partnership to be a separate legal entity. The Insolvency Act’s deviation from the common-law rule and creation of a ‘juristic ghost’ is explored in this article. The ‘dual priorities’ rule, the aggregate theory and the entity theory are explained in this article. Furthermore, the judicial debates about the Act’s deviation are discussed. In conclusion, it is suggested that the presumption that legislation does not intend to change existing law should not apply when dealing with the Insolvency Act, as the legislature has expressly deviated from the common-law aggregate approach.

We perform a critical analysis and study how the existing risk assessment methods can be modified. The article demonstrates strengths and advantages of the determined financial model. Methods. The study is based on methods of the discourse analysis, mathematical statistics, financial modeling. Results. If the entity receives payments out of net profit, we show the modified formula for assessing the aggregate leverage and suggest using the term financial leverage in Russian. The chi-squared comparison method reveals the need to respect aggregate leverage restrictions. We also present formulae for assessing its minimum and maximum. In this study, we provide a broader view of the financial mentality as a concept, quantify to what extent the decision-maker is prone to risk. Conclusions and Relevance. The advisable aggregate leverage fits in the interval, which should be specifically assessed for each entity, and can be determined by official reporting data through the proposed formulae. Managing common stockholders’ risk pursues to maintain the aggregate leverage ratio within its maximum and minimum. This task can be solved by modifying the structure and ratio of fixed and variable costs.

Resumen
Despite extensive knowledge on the mechanisms that drive single-cell migration, those governing the migration of cell clusters, as occurring during embryonic development and cancer metastasis, remain poorly understood. Here, we investigate the collective migration of cell on adhesive gels with variable rigidity, using 3D cellular aggregates as a model system. After initial adhesion to the substrate, aggregates spread by expanding outward a cell monolayer, whose dynamics is optimal in a narrow range of rigidities. Fast expansion gives rise to the accumulation of mechanical tension that leads to the rupture of cell–cell contacts and the nucleation of holes within the monolayer, which becomes unstable and undergoes dewetting like a liquid film. This leads to a symmetry breaking and causes the entire aggregate to move as a single entity. Varying the substrate rigidity modulates the extent of dewetting and induces different modes of aggregate motion: “giant keratocytes,” where the lamellipodium is a cell monolayer that expands at the front and retracts at the back; “penguins,” characterized by bipedal locomotion; and “running spheroids,” for nonspreading aggregates. We characterize these diverse modes of collective migration by quantifying the flows and forces that drive them, and we unveil the fundamental physical principles that govern these behaviors, which underscore the biological predisposition of living material to migrate, independent of length scale.

Abstract:Data collected in patient records are not only the kernel of a ward information system, but also the groundwork for planning and evaluating services in health care. The aim of this study was to analyze the problem of aggregate data generation starting from separate items in patient records. After describing the different uses of patient record data, we outline the process which generates aggregate data starting from individual records. This process leads to the definition of the “view on aggregation” as an intermediate step between patient records and aggregate data.A simplified schema is presented based on the Entity-Relationship model representing a conceptual model of the integration of aggregate data and patient record items. Finally, the role is discussed of automation in this process and the perspectives for its implementation.

Resumen
The growing importance of green spaces in evaluating a city's quality of life and sustainability has prompted us to delve into this topic in this paper. Specifically, we aim to clarify two key distinctions: the difference between public and common goods and the distinction between collectives and aggregates. The first distinction relates to whether a resource is open to all and managed by the state (public goods) or managed collectively but with limitations (common goods). However, we can also examine this differentiation by considering the type of entity utilizing these resources. In the case of public goods, it involves individuals forming an aggregate, whereas for commons, a plural entity must be assumed to effectively manage the resource collaboratively. By exploring these distinctions in detail and examining their implications, this paper seeks to apply them to a common public resource—the green areas within cities. We aim to demonstrate the potential benefits of shifting our perspective on such resources from being considered public to being viewed as common goods.

Resumen
Entity alignment which aims at linking entities with the same meaning from different knowledge graphs (KGs) is a vital step for knowledge fusion. Existing research focused on learning embeddings of entities by utilizing structural information of KGs for entity alignment. These methods can aggregate information from neighboring nodes but may also bring noise from neighbors. Most recently, several researchers attempted to compare neighboring nodes in pairs to enhance the entity alignment. However, they ignored the relations between entities which are also important for neighborhood matching. In addition, existing methods paid less attention to the positive interactions between the entity alignment and the relation alignment. To deal with these issues, we propose a novel Relation-aware Neighborhood Matching model named RNM for entity alignment. Specifically, we propose to utilize the neighborhood matching to enhance the entity alignment. Besides comparing neighbor nodes when matching neighborhood, we also try to explore useful information from the connected relations. Moreover, an iterative framework is designed to leverage the positive interactions between the entity alignment and the relation alignment in a semi-supervised manner. Experimental results on three real-world datasets demonstrate that the proposed model RNM performs better than state-of-the-art methods.

Resumen
Relation extraction tasks aim to predict potential relations between entities in a target sentence. As entity mentions have ambiguity in sentences, some important contextual information can guide the semantic representation of entity mentions to improve the accuracy of relation extraction. However, most existing relation extraction models ignore the semantic guidance of contextual information to entity mentions and treat entity mentions in and the textual context of a sentence equally. This results in low-accuracy relation extractions. To address this problem, we propose a contextual semantic-guided entity-centric graph convolutional network (CEGCN) model that enables entity mentions to obtain semantic-guided contextual information for more accurate relational representations. This model develops a self-attention enhanced neural network to concentrate on the importance and relevance of different words to obtain semantic-guided contextual information. Then, we employ a dependency tree with entities as global nodes and add virtual edges to construct an entity-centric logical adjacency matrix (ELAM). This matrix can enable entities to aggregate the semantic-guided contextual information with a one-layer GCN calculation. The experimental results on the TACRED and SemEval-2010 Task 8 datasets show that our model can efficiently use semantic-guided contextual information to enrich semantic entity representations and outperform previous models.

The Poisson distribution can be used to the distribution of the heart disease claim frequency. Whereas, the distribution of the heart disease claim severity has a lognormal distribution. The model obtained can explain the aggregate loss of heart disease claims properly.

Resumen
Knowledge graphs (KGs) serve as useful resources for various natural language processing applications. Previous KG completion approaches require a large number of training instances (i.e., head-tail entity pairs) for every relation. The real case is that for most of the relations, very few entity pairs are available. Existing work of one-shot learning limits method generalizability for few-shot scenarios and does not fully use the supervisory information; however, few-shot KG completion has not been well studied yet. In this work, we propose a novel few-shot relation learning model (FSRL) that aims at discovering facts of new relations with few-shot references. FSRL can effectively capture knowledge from heterogeneous graph structure, aggregate representations of few-shot references, and match similar entity pairs of reference set for every relation. Extensive experiments on two public datasets demonstrate that FSRL outperforms the state-of-the-art.

Resumen
In this paper, we propose an areal feature matching method that can be applied for many-to-many matching, which involves matching a simple entity with an aggregate of several polygons or two aggregates of several polygons with fewer user intervention. To this end, an affine transformation is applied to two datasets by using polygon pairs for which the building name is the same. Then, two datasets are overlaid with intersected polygon pairs that are selected as candidate matching pairs. If many polygons intersect at this time, we calculate the inclusion function between such polygons. When the value is more than 0.4, many of the polygons are aggregated as single polygons by using a convex hull. Finally, the shape similarity is calculated between the candidate pairs according to the linear sum of the weights computed in CRITIC method and the position similarity, shape ratio similarity, and overlap similarity. The candidate pairs for which the value of the shape similarity is more than 0.7 are determined as matching pairs. We applied the method to two geospatial datasets: the digital topographic map and the KAIS map in South Korea. As a result, the visual evaluation showed two polygons that had been well detected by using the proposed method. The statistical evaluation indicates that the proposed method is accurate when using our test dataset with a high F-measure of 0.91.

Resumen
Relation classification is an important task in the field of natural language processing, and it is one of the important steps in constructing a knowledge graph, which can greatly reduce the cost of constructing a knowledge graph. The Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) is an effective model for accurate relation classification, which models the dependency tree of textual instances to extract the semantic features of relation mentions. Previous GCN based methods treat each node equally. However, the contribution of different words to express a certain relation is different, especially the entity mentions in the sentence. In this paper, a novel GCN based relation classifier is propose, which treats the entity nodes as two global nodes in the dependency tree. These two global nodes directly connect with other nodes, which can aggregate information from the whole tree with only one convolutional layer. In this way, the method can not only simplify the complexity of the model, but also generate expressive relation representation. Experimental results on two widely used data sets, SemEval-2010 Task 8 and TACRED, show that our model outperforms all the compared baselines in this paper, which illustrates that the model can effectively utilize the dependencies between nodes and improve the performance of relation classification.

Resumen
Despite some exceptions, the business ethics literature on the moral responsibility of corporations does not emphasize a subject critical to that inquiry: the general nature of corporations. This article attempts to lessen the imbalance by describing three conceptions of the corporation that have been prominent in twentieth century legal theorizing, and by sketching their implications for the moral responsibility of corporations. These three conceptions, at least two of which have counterparts in the philosophical and organizational theory literature, are the concession, aggregate, and real entity theories. The article concludes that the real entity theory is the most plausible of the lot. At least under prevailing tests of moral responsibility, it then contends, corporations-as-real-entities are morally responsible for most of their members’ actions.

Resumen
Abstract Multi-hop path query answering is a complex task in which a path needs to be inferred from a knowledge graph that contains a head entity and multi-hop relations. The objective is to identify the corresponding tail entity accurately. The representation of the path is a critical factor in this task. However, existing methods do not adequately consider the context information of the entities and relations in the path. To address this issue, this paper proposes a novel multi-hop path query answering model that utilizes an enhanced reasoning path feature representation to incorporate intermediate entity information and improve the accuracy of path query answering. The proposed model utilizes the neighborhood to aggregate the entity representation in the reasoning path. It employs a recurrent skipping network to splice the embedding of the relationship and the entity in the reasoning path based on their weight. Additionally, the model adds the position representation to obtain the reasoning path representation. Moreover, the model uses Bi-GRU and Transformer to obtain the local and global context features of each entity in the reasoning path. Finally, the reasoning path feature representation is input into the feedforward neural network and predicted through the softmax layer. The effectiveness of the proposed model in addressing the multi-hop path query answering task is demonstrated by experimental results on the WN18RR and FB15K-237 datasets. Specifically, the proposed model outperforms existing methods in terms of accuracy.

Resumen
Steel slag, taking up about 20% of crude steel output in China, has caused many serious problems to environment, such as soil damage, water pollution. Research on the way of effective application of steel slag is always a hot topic. The utilization of steel slag in road construction as coarse aggregate is a promising way. Many researches on the mechanical characteristics of steel slag based HMA have been conducted in laboratory, and the quality indexes of steel slag such as angularity coefficient, dust content can be controlled by artificial way due to small demand for research destination. The lack of effective way to control the quality indexes of steel slag aggregate during processing is one of the main factors that limits its wide use in entity projects. In order to express the significance of quality control in steel slag aggregate production, this paper estimates the effect of different morphology on high-temperature performance of steel slag based HMA. High-temperature performances were carried out by wheel tracking test and permanent deformation test, results were discussed in this research.

Resumen
User generated content is extremely valuable for mining market intelligence because it is unsolicited. We study the problem of analyzing users' sentiment and opinion in their blog, message board, etc. posts with respect to topics expressed as a search query. In the scenario we consider the matches of the search query terms are expanded through coreference and meronymy to produce a set of mentions. The mentions are contextually evaluated for sentiment and their scores are aggregated (using a data structure we introduce call the sentiment propagation graph) to produce an aggregate score for the input entity. An extremely crucial part in the contextual evaluation of individual mentions is finding which sentiment expressions are semantically related to (target) which mentions --- this is the focus of our paper. We present an approach where potential target mentions for a sentiment expression are ranked using supervised machine learning (Support Vector Machines) where the main features are the syntactic configurations (typed dependency paths) connecting the sentiment expression and the mention. We have created a large English corpus of product discussions blogs annotated with semantic types of mentions, coreference, meronymy and sentiment targets. The corpus proves that coreference and meronymy are not marginal phenomena but are really central to determining the overall sentiment for the top-level entity. We evaluate a number of techniques for sentiment targeting and present results which we believe push the current state-of-the-art.

Resumen
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to empirically test whether corporates, via publicly disclosed sentiment and in response to government initiatives such as domestic corporate tax reform measures that address transparency, are beginning to view tax as a fourth dimension of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Design/methodology/approach To determine whether corporate attitudes towards tax are changing, representations about the corporate entity by a variety of stakeholders and through numerous channels were analysed using Leximancer software. These representations were in response to four distinct Australian domestic tax reform measures instituted during and subsequent to the Australian Government Senate Inquiry into corporate tax avoidance. The use of Leximancer, a data-analysis and mapping software that automates the coding of document text, delineates concepts and identifies themes, is well suited to the nature and size of the data used (Lodhia and Martin, 2011) and ensures the validity and reliability of the results (Dumay, 2014). Findings This paper provides evidence on the efficacy of global and domestic tax-reform measures that target tax avoidance through transparency. This is demonstrated by a progressive change in corporate attitudes towards tax and suggests a transition, albeit nascent, from the aggregate view to the real entity view of a corporation. As such, this study provides evidence of the inception of a corporate conscience when it comes to tax, whereby tax is instituted as a fourth dimension of CSR. Research limitations/implications Using a theoretical framework which adopts the historically accepted views of the firm, the authors argue that a shift from the aggregate view to the real entity view of a corporation will have the following implications: an expansion of the dimensional factors of CSR (economic, social, environmental and tax); a new standard or definition of corporate responsibility which encompasses both legal and moral considerations and has transparency at its core (Narotzki, 2016); and a new outlook where consumers realise that they have the power to influence and demand action from corporates. Originality/value This paper uses state-of-the-art software to empirically test the efficacy of global and domestic tax reform measures that target transparency, ultimately providing evidence supporting the adoption of these measures and the recognition of a new dimension of CSR, tax.

Resumen
Sorokin’s ideas remain relevant in many areas of Psycholinguistics. The specificity of Sorokin’s concept of text understanding is determined by its deep connection with traditions of world Psychology and Linguistics on one hand, and attention to human activity’s specifics where a human being cannot be dissociated from being a part of culture and products of his/her activity (including speech activity), on the other hand. Examining the text as a self-developing entity, Sorokin considers “psychosemantic epistemology” to be the most effective methodology of a literary text’s analysis. It is based on the laws of perception and understanding of a text formulated by Nikolay A. Rubakin. Sorokin believes that a text is a form of substantiation of experience gained by a human being in all sorts of activities. Text as an aggregate of signs has potential content that is formed only in the course of the text’s interpretation. Sorokin studies a number of ethnopsycholinguistic issues, solutions to those issues enables inclusion of the following statements in the theoretical justification of understanding of a text: an individual as a representative of a certain ethnos appropriates ethnically specific ways and means of mastering the world and represents this experience in speech activity; the semiotic-behavioral side of the personality reveals its belonging to the culture of the ethnic group and is reflected in the structure and content of texts created by the individual; language units that possess cultural and symbolic meaning serve as markers of ethnicity. Sorokin considers it necessary to create special “non-analytical” methods of text analysis that would be adequate to its properties as a self-organizing system. First of all, it is the search for tools for measuring subjective assessments that reflect “axiological formats” of understanding or non-understanding of a text (e.g., method of semantic integral).

The extension of state activities currently raises the need to fund specific public projects in the area of the infrastructure, ecology, or the entire expenditure programs in the field of education, health and social care and culture. Into the accounts methodology of the national and autonomy administration were introduced the transfers which represent prevalent expenses, capital expenditures, grants, subsidies and contributions. From an accounting perspective views there is an important fact from which the transfer passes, respectively whether the transfer is provided by the founder, the transfer by another entity within the public administration, or the transfer goes from an entity outside of the public administration. Watching transfers is important for the subsequent preparation of consolidated financial statements and summary financial statements of the public administration. The aggregate accounts of government administration in 2012 expanded by another group of accounting entities namely the state enterprises, RSR, Eximbanka and other public entities.

Resumen
AbstractPlatelet aggregation is a dynamic entity, capable of directing its own growth and stability via the activation of signaling cascades that lead to the expression and secretion of various secondary agonists. Here we show that the signaling pathways triggered during platelet aggregation include an intrinsic pro-thrombotic activity mediated by 2 homophilic adhesion molecules, CD84 and CD150 (SLAM [signaling lymphocyte activation molecule]), which are tyrosine phosphorylated in a platelet aggregation–dependent fashion. The 2 CD84/SLAM adapter proteins, SAP (SLAM-associated protein) and EAT-2 (EWS-activated transcript-2), were found in platelets; only SAP, however, was found to immunoprecipitate with tyrosine-phosphorylated SLAM. The immobilized extracellular domain of CD84 promoted microaggregate formation, while SAP-deficient platelets demonstrated defective spreading on immobilized CD84, demonstrating a functional role in platelets for SLAM family interactions. Finally, analysis of SLAM-deficient mice revealed an overall defect in platelet aggregation in vitro and a delayed arterial thrombotic process in vivo. The data indicate that signaling of the adhesion molecules in the SLAM family, activated by proximity during aggregation, further stabilize platelet-platelet interactions in thrombosis.

Resumen
ABSTRACT Rev. Rul. 91-32 treats the sale of a partnership interest by a foreign partner under the aggregate approach. Gain or loss is determined by the distributive share of gain or loss arising from a hypothetical sale of the partnership's assets. To the extent gain is attributable to assets that are effectively connected to a U.S. trade or business, they are U.S. source and subject to U.S. tax. In 2017, the Tax Court declined to apply Rev. Rul. 91-32 applying the entity approach instead. Under this approach, the foreign partner has no U.S. source income from the sale of her partnership interest and is not subject to U.S. tax on any gain. Congress responded by codifying the aggregate approach in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. This paper looks at the history of taxing partnership sales by foreign persons and provides analysis on the state of the current law. JEL Classifications: B17; F23; M16; H25.

Resumen
Yzerbyt, Rogier and Fiske (1998) argued that perceivers confronted with a group high in entitativity (i.e., a group perceived as an entity, a tight-knit group) more readily call upon an underlying essence to explain people's behavior than perceivers confronted with an aggregate. Their study showed that group entitativity promoted dispositional attributions for the behavior of group members. Moreover, stereotypes emerged when people faced entitative groups. In this study, we replicate and extend these results by providing further evidence that the process of social attribution is responsible for the emergence of stereotypes. We use the attitude attribution paradigm ( Jones & Harris, 1967 ) and show that the correspondence bias is stronger for an entitative group target than for an aggregate. Besides, several dependent measures indicate that the target's group membership stands as a plausible causal factor to account for members' behavior, a process we call Social Attribution. Implications for current theories of stereotyping are discussed.

Resumen
This article describes in detail one of the main tools for assessing the financial stability of an enterprise. The study describes a method for analyzing the financial stability of an enterprise based on relative indicators: its own working capital, the aggregate of its own and long-term funds, the total amount of sources for the formation of reserves and costs of an economic entity, and shows practical calculations on the example of an economic entity. The study reveals the essence of the method for determining one of the four types of financial situation: absolute stability, normal stability, unstable and crisis financial condition. The types are characterized based on the values of the threecomponent indicator of financial stability. Based on the results of the analysis of financial stability based on relative indicators, conclusions and proposals are made, with emphasis on the stabilization of the financial situation. The advantages and disadvantages of using the studied tool for assessing the financial stability of the enterprise are also highlighted.

Resumen
This article explores the relationship between education and health from the perspective of revised literature and suggests an exercise combining the scientific theory with applied knowledge to achieve health progress reflected in health indices improvement for individuals and community. The relation between aggregate health condition, food and nutrition receives, through education, a new shape implying a three-way causality analysis to highlight the role of each entity exerting significant influences in the others’ good functioning.Three important issues are considered for the new and comprehensive definition: a) high level of education implies specific health benefits; b) health affects the level of education of the population; and c) living conditions, especially the childhood, affect both the population’s education and the aggregate health of the whole nation. This paper develops the new model to easier identify health risks, from the individuals’ attitude and their behavior in society, throughout life, within the institutional contexts. The conclusion shows that individuals and their personal traits are built, shaped and solidified within the first social frame (family), being permanently affected by surroundings. Subsequently, the influence of the community - through consolidation or disruptive factors - emphasized by political decisions, public establishments and their policies or other institutions – generates different social and cultural contexts whose aggregate consequences will be lasting and influence the national future.

Resumen
Abstract Indolent B-cell lymphomas that are supposed to derive from the marginal zone (marginal zone lymphomas [MZLs]) include 3 specific entities: extranodal marginal zone lymphoma (EMZL) or mucosa-associated lymphatic tissue (MALT) lymphoma, splenic MZL (SMZL), and nodal MZL (NMZL). The clinical and molecular characteristics are different for each entity, with some shared phenotypic and genetic features. EMZL is the most common entity, accounting for approximately 70% of all MZLs. These neoplasms can arise at virtually any extranodal site and are commonly associated with chronic antigenic stimulation either as a result of infection (eg, Helicobacter pylori in the stomach) or autoimmune disease (eg, Sjögren syndrome and salivary glands). Several chromosomal translocations were also identified in EMZL, accounting in the aggregate for approximately one-third of all cases. SMZL accounts for approximately 20% of all MZLs. Patients typically present with an enlarged spleen and involvement of abdominal lymph nodes and BM. Approximately 40%-50% of SMZLs are associated with deletions of chromosome 7q. NMZL is the less common entity, representing approximately 10% of all MZLs. Patients with NMZL, by definition, have lymph node–based disease without involvement of the spleen or extranodal sites. The molecular pathogenesis of NMZL is still unknown.

Resumen
In scene parsing, the model is required to be able to process complex multi-modal data such as images and contexts in real scenes, and discover their implicit connections from objects existing in the scene. As a storage method that contains entity information and the relationship between entities, a knowledge graph can well express objects and the semantic relationship between objects in the scene. In this paper, a new multi-phase process was proposed to solve scene parsing tasks; first, a knowledge graph was used to align the multi-modal information and then the graph-based model generates results. We also designed an experiment of feature engineering’s validation for a deep-learning model to preliminarily verify the effectiveness of this method. Hence, we proposed a knowledge representation method named Entity Descriptor Encoder of Transformer (EDET), which uses both the entity itself and its internal attributes for knowledge representation. This method can be embedded into the transformer structure to solve multi-modal scene parsing tasks. EDET can aggregate the multi-modal attributes of entities, and the results in the scene graph generation and image captioning tasks prove that EDET has excellent performance in multi-modal fields. Finally, the proposed method was applied to the industrial scene, which confirmed the viability of our method.

The authors specify the concept of economic security of the region and determine its essence. The paper considers and groups key indicators characterizing the risk of reducing the economic security level in the region. The classification includes four groups of such indices: financial (aggregate indicators), resource or manufacturing (characterize the economic state of the territory and possibility of its development based on the revealed potential), social, and ecological. When analyzing risks of reducing the level of regional economic security, the authors group, combine, and evaluate the indices holistically and over time. The mechanism of managing the risk of reducing economic security is built considering these groups of indicators. It should be preventive, promptly warn and eliminate threats of the emergence of crises in a particular region. Based on this requirement, the authors proposed the mechanism of managing the risk of reducing the economic security of regions, which consists of several levels. The first level consolidates the Head of the RF constituent entity, the Council for economic and public security of the RF constituent entity, and legislative authorities of the RF constituent entity. The next level consists of commercial organizations, social-political and religious institutions. The third level is the population of the RF constituent entity. However, to achieve stable economic development of the region, the interaction of all levels is necessary, which should be organized by the Interdepartmental commission for economic security matters of the region. Monitoring the existing external and internal threats and considering the economic interests of a region, the commission should develop measures aimed at the prevention of detected threats.

The ontology of high-level resilience constructs in the context of building information protection systems at the organizational level is studied. The principles of interaction between these constructs and the elements of an organization’s structure and its assets, which are integral components of the resilience-building framework, are described in detail. The process of identi¬fying an organization’s critical functions and the associated risks as a foundation for constructing its resilience is highlighted. It is posited that in organizational configurations where a single entity encompasses multiple subdivisions or interconnected organizations, the resilience of the entire system cannot simply be viewed as the aggregate resilience of its constituent parts.

Resumen
As the amount of data generated in various distributed environments is rapidly increasing, cloud servers and computing technologies are attracting considerable attention. However, the cloud server has privacy issues, including personal information and requires the help of a Trusted Third Party (TTP) for data sharing. However, because the amount of data generated and value increases, the data owner who produces data must become the subject of data sharing. In this study, we use key aggregate searchable encryption (KASE) technology, which enables keyword search, to efficiently share data without using TTP. The traditional KASE scheme approach only discusses delegation of authority from the data owner to another user. However, if the delegated entity cannot perform time-critical tasks because the shared data are unavailable, the delegate must further delegate the rights given to other users. Consequently, this paper proposes a new KASE scheme that enables multi-delegation without TTP and includes an authentication technique between the user and the server. After that, we perform informal and formal analysis using BAN logic and AVISPA for security evaluation, and compare the security and performance aspects with existing schemes.

Beginning in January 1989, these pilots were offered aviation bonus contracts, similar to those studied with the CATI, under the Aviator Continuation Pay (ACP) program enacted by Congress. Two key variables from the survey—career intent and bonus intent—were very accurate in predicting ACP behavior at both the aggregate and the entity levels.

Resumen
Two different porosimetry methods are presented in two successive papers. Inspiration for the development came from the rapidly-exploring random tree (RRT) approach used in robotics. The novel methods are applied to virtual cementitious materials produced by a modern concurrent algorithm-based discrete element modeling system, HADES. This would render possible realistically simulating all aspects of particulate matter that influence structure-sensitive features of the pore network structure in maturing concrete, namely size, shape and dispersion of aggregate and cement particles. Pore space is a complex tortuous entity. Practical methods conventionally applied for assessment of pore size distribution may fail or present biased information. Among them, mercury intrusion porosimetry and 2D quantitative image analysis are popular. The mathematical morphology operator “opening” can be applied to sections and even provide 3D information on pore size distribution, provided isotropy is guaranteed. Unfortunately, aggregate grain surfaces lead to pore anisotropy. The presented methods allow exploration of pore space in the virtual material, after which pore size distribution is derived from star volume measurements. In addition to size of pores their continuity is of crucial importance for durability estimation. Double-random multiple tree structuring (DRaMuTS), presented herein, and random node structuring (RaNoS) provide such information. The latter method will be introduced in a next issue of IA&S.

This would render possible realistically simulating all aspects of particulate matter that influence structure-sensitive features of the pore network structure in maturing concrete, namely size, shape and dispersion of the aggregate and cement particles. However, aggregate grain surfaces lead to anisotropy in porosity. The presented methods allow exploration of pore space in the virtual material, after which pore size distribution is derived from star volume measurements. In addition to size of pores their continuity is of crucial importance for durability estimation. Double-random multiple tree structuring (DRaMuTS), introduced earlier in IA&S (Stroeven et al., 2011b) and random node structuring (RaNoS) provide such information.
