Full textThe purpose of the work is to study the basics of the development of acoustic touch sensors, namely, surface acoustic waves touch screens. The main types of touch screens are considered, the principles of their construction and work are presented and analyzed, their comparative analysis is carried out. The features of the design and functioning of touch screens on surface acoustic waves are described. The theoretical foundations of Rayleigh wave propagation and their properties are considered. The basic methods of excitation of acoustic waves of this type are considered and the excitation method for use in acoustic touch screens is chosen, corresponding calculations have been made. Using the method of electroacoustic equivalent circuit, the parameters of the key element of the acoustic touch sensor, namely, the piezoelectric transducer, are calculated. The algorithm for determining the coordinates of the point of contact to the surface of the touch screen and an example of calculating the coordinates of the touch was given.

Full textIn the master’s project the results of the development of delay line based on surface - acoustics waves (SAW) with the delay 1,8mcs on the central frequency 50 MHz, with the bandwidth 4,0 МHz on the level – 3 dB and the insertion losses on the fundamental frequency 13 dB are presented. The results of development and research of mathematical model of delay line on SAW on the base of discrete sources and methodic of engineering calculation of delay line which mades it possible to evaluate the constructional and acoustic-electronical parameters are submitted. The experimental researchs of 4 samples of delay line on SAW were obtained with helping of standard measuring equipments . The experimentally determined and calculated parameters differ from each other on not more than ±10%, which confirms the applicability of the developed methodic for calculation of delay lines on SAW, which are used in the radio-electronical systems.
