The title pull–push chromophores, 2-[4-(dimethylamino)benzylidene]-1H-indene-1,3(2H)-dione, C18H15NO2 (ID[1]) and (E)-2-{3-[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]allylidene}-1H-indene-1,3(2H)-dione, C20H17NO2 (ID[2]), have donor–π-bridge–acceptor structures. The molecule with the short π-bridge, ID[1], is almost planar while for the molecule with a longer bridge, ID[2], is less planar. The benzene ring is inclined to the mean plane of the 2,3-dihydro-1H-indene unit by 3.19 (4)° in ID[1] and 13.06 (8)° in ID[2]. The structures of three polymorphs of compound ID[1] have been reported: the α-polymorph [space group P21/c; Magomedova & Zvonkova (1978). Kristallografiya, 23, 281–288], the β-polymorph [space group P21/c; Magomedova & Zvonkova (1980). Kristallografiya, 25 1183–1187] and the γ-polymorph [space group Pna21; Magomedova, Neigauz, Zvonkova & Novakovskaya (1980). Kristallografiya, 25, 400–402]. The molecular packing in ID[1] studied here is centrosymmetric (space group P21/c) and corresponds to the β-polymorph structure. The molecular packing in ID[2] is non-centrosymmetric (space group P21), which suggests potential NLO properties for this crystalline material. In both compounds, there is short intramolecular C—H...O contact present, enclosing an S(7) ring motif. In the crystal of ID[1], molecules are linked by C—H...O hydrogen bonds and C—H...π interactions, forming layers parallel to the bc plane. In the crystal of ID[2], molecules are liked by C—H...O hydrogen bonds to form 21 helices propagating along the b-axis direction. The molecules in the helix are linked by offset π–π interactions with, for example, a centroid–centroid distance of 3.9664 (13) Å (= b axis) separating the indene rings, and an offset of 1.869 Å. Spectroscopic and electrochemical measurements show the ability of these compounds to easily transfer electrons through the π-conjugated chain.

Single crystals of K2Hg(SCN)4[dipotassium tetrathiocyanatomercurate(II)] were grown from aqueous solutions of potassium thiocyanate and mercury(II) thiocyanate and studied by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In comparison with the previously reported structure model [Zvonkova (1952).Zh. Fiz. Khim.26, 1798–1803], all atoms in the crystal structure were located, with lattice parameters and fractional coordinates determined to a much higher precision. In the (crystal) structure, the HgIIatom is located on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated in the form of a distorted tetrahedron by four S atoms of the thiocyanate anions. The K+cation shows a coordination number of eight.

Аннотация. Письма, адресованные В. А. Звонковой, мы печатаем вслед за ее воспоминаниями, чтобы еще более выпукло представить ту ситуацию в церковно-приходской жизни 1950–1970-х гг., которую описывает их автор. Священник, являвшийся духовником юной девушки, раскрывает перед читателем внутренний мир церковного человека в его молодые годы, полные испытаний. Также здесь публикуются письма того же священника Михаила Ежова к двум другим адресатам, сохранившиеся в архиве Звонковой. Это эпистолярное наследие содержит в себе ценные материалы о духовной жизни в советские годы, позволяющие нам говорить о высокой культуре духовничества среди белого духовенства. Abstract. We are publishing the Letters addressed to V. A. Zvonkova following her memoirs in order to present even more vividly the situation in the parish life of the 1950s–1970s, which their author describes. The priest, who was the confessor of a young girl, reveals to the reader the inner world of a church person in his young years, full of trials. It also publishes letters from the same priest Mikhail Yezhov to two other addressees, preserved in Zvonkova’s archive. This epistolary legacy contains valuable materials about spiritual life in the Soviet years, allowing us to talk about the high culture of clergy among the white clergy.

Воспоминания В.А. Звонковой посвящены церковной жизни автора, начиная с послевоенного времени и заканчивая 2000-ми годами. В центре воспоминаний стоит судьба самого автора, идущего сложной и тернистой дорогой православного христианина в атеистическом государстве и обществе. Автор показывает, что путь этот был непрост не только из-за преследований верующих, но даже в большей степени из-за особой нравственной атмосферы в быстро атеизирующемся советском обществе, где попирались традиционные нормы брачных отношений, где рушились привычные родственные связи и т.д. Воспоминания отмечены тонкими наблюдениями автора за жизнью современников, как церковной, так и светской. The memoirs of V. A. Zvonkova are devoted to church life from the 1940-s to the 2000-s. At the heart of the memoirs is the fate of the author himself, walking the difficult path of the Orthodox Christian in an atheistic state and society. The author shows that this path was not easy, not only because of the persecution of believers, but even more so because of the special moral atmosphere in the rapidly atheizing Soviet society, where the traditional norms of marital relations were violated, where familiar family ties were broken, etc. The memoirs are marked by the author’s subtle observations of the life of contemporaries, both churchly and secular.

Аннотация. Воспоминания В. А. Звонковой посвящены церковной жизни автора, начиная с послевоенного времени и заканчивая 2000-ми годами. В центре воспоминаний стоит судьба самого автора, идущего сложной и тернистой дорогой православного христианина в атеистическом государстве и обществе. Автор показывает, что путь этот был непрост не только из-за преследований верующих, но даже в большей степени из-за особой нравственной атмосферы в быстро атеизирующемся советском обществе, где попирались традиционные нормы брачных отношений, где рушились привычные родственные связи и т. д. Воспоминания отмечены тонкими наблюдениями автора за жизнью современников, как церковной, так и светской. The main task of diploma is creating a sacral object and community centre of Salesians in Brno-Líšeň. A construction of the Salesian complex started in 1998. As a result, the whole complex of institution got to the district of Brno-Lisen with the help of the endowment fund for youth. The Congregation focuses on the methods of educating the youth of Don Bosco, the father and teacher of the youth, the first head of the Salesian. The creation of a church is a very desirable step for the Salesian Center, because Masses are currently being celebrated in the existing building in the gym, where not everything is needed to carry out of the event. The church should be developed in the vicinity of Salesian centre and has to be available for a wide range of societies. The architectural project includes the designing of church, parish building and enviroment. The form and view of the complex suit to this environmental area and react on its entire structure. The object consists of two forms, which are connected by the horizontal communication. In the middle of the Salesian complex, there is a semi-open area. The first object is a church with a capacity of approximately 200 hundred visitors, the second object is a parish building, which perform the functions of administration with multifunction space for the exhibitions, aparmtments and offices for its employees.
