Abstract:
AimsSuicide is one of the leading causes of death in young people living in Australia, accounting for 7.3% of all deaths among individuals aged 15–19 years. Historically, high levels of suicide have been recorded in Australian university students. This project aims to develop and test a massive online course-program (MOOC) for university students, underpinned by literature and strength-based suicide prevention principles, building resilience and awareness of mental health promoting activities.MethodA scoping review of the literature was undertaken to explore the effectiveness of current suicide prevention programs for undergraduate university students, and the effective elements contributing to the success of these programs. Six electronic databases were searched to identify relevant literature. Further, mental health consumers and university students were involved in co-producing the content of the six modules of the ‘Talk-to-me' MOOC.ResultNine articles were included in the review, discussing four types of programs including; gatekeeping, education, promotional messaging and online consultation. It was apparent from this review that there is a significant dearth of interventions and programs currently available to reduce the risk of suicide among undergraduate students, with many of the programs having limited efficacy. Despite this, a number of program elements were identified as beneficial to preventing suicide among post-secondary students including upskilling of students, and improving resilience, and self-management. These findings and further consultation with mental health consumers and undergraduate university students underpinned the development of the content of the ‘Talk-to-me' MOOC which is tailored to meet the needs of university students. The MOOC contains six modules: Mental fitness; strategies to increase mental fitness; self-harm; suicidal behaviour in young adults; interventions for suicidal behaviour; and, gatekeeper interventions. Two case study senarios depicting mental health challenges commonly experienced by yound adults portraying appropriate crisis communication skills were developed and filmed complementing the six ‘Talk-to-me' modules.ConclusionOverall, studies included in the review provide evidence to suggest that preventative programs, incorporating an educational component may be effective to be used in the MOOC to improving help-seeking behaviours among post-secondary education students. Findings from this review have underpinned the development of the ‘Talk-to-Me' MOOC which was launched in March 2020. To date this MOOC has enrolled over 45,000 participants from over 150 countries, with the average age of users being 24 years. Collectively, this line of work highlights that MOOCs are an effective means of mental health promotion to young adults.

Abstract:
The aim of the study is to assess the variability of morphofunctional indi-cators of masculinity among students in Belarus over time and depending on the level of physical fitness. The research was carried out in the years between 2016–2021 in Minsk (Republic of Belarus). The sample consisted of 233 students (102 young men, 131 young women) aged 18 to 22. The materials of our research of 180 stu-dents (125 young men and 65 young women) of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture were also used. The material used for comparison was the archival data of the Department of Anthropology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus from the period 2000–2007: a total of 243 students in Minsk (98 young men, 145 young women).Anthropometric measurements of body length, body weight, shoulder width, pelvic width, waist circumference, hip circumference, tense shoulder cir-cumference, relaxed shoulder circumference, length of the second and fourth fin-gers of both hands, wrist dynamometry of the right and left hand were carried out. The morphological indices were calculated. It was revealed that modern young men have more waist circumference and than young men of the beginning of the XXI century. In young women, waist circumference and body weight showed greater stability. The width of the pelvis, like that of both sexes, has decreased from the beginning of the 21th century to the present. In modern young men, disharmony of physique due to excess body weight in relation to its length occurs more often than at the beginning of the century. The indicators of wrist dyna-mometry among modern Belarusian students have become lower compared to the beginning of the 2000s. The young men and women involved in physical cul-ture had a significantly lower 2D:4D for the left hand and right hand than those who have a lower level of physical fitness. Thus, the features of the temporal variability of young students in Belar-us of such indicators as waist circumference, pelvic width and dynamometry (strength capabilities) were revealed, which were reflected in the dynamics of morphological indices of masculinity

Abstract:

Abstract:
Among the critical issues in gifted child education which have emerged from the 1980s is the failure to appropriately identify and adequately program for primary gifted children. This paper examines the problems embedded in the accurate assessment of exceptional potential in populations of young children from minority and/or economically disadvantaged settings. Assessment issues are examined in the light of recent research on developmentally appropriate evaluation of young children. Historical and current practices are reviewed and descriptions of two innovative approaches to non-traditional assessment of young children are provided.

Abstract:

It is important for teachers to have a firm understanding of how their students learn in order to determine what teaching methods or strategies to use in their classrooms. Should be a process of building knowledge and language skills so that learners develop their language competencies and learning abilities through different learning styles. Therefore, the main objective of the study is focused on analyzing the learning styles to improve the speaking skills of the students of second semester of the bachelor’s degree in Tourism at the Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo-Sede Orellana. The methodology that was used includes a bibliographic review, semi- structured interviews as well as a method called expert judgment. The results indicated that the students at the university had no knowledge of learning styles, leading to the development of a lesson plan to improve students’ oral fluency. Technological advances are very important in the educational field, allowing the development of each student's learning style.

Abstract:
Brazil is a large country with a population of nearly 200 million people. There are difficulties in providing public health education. To ensure its effectiveness, health education should begin during adolescence, to encourage young people to adopt healthy habits. A web-based tele-education platform was developed. Thirty students from a public high school in the rural city of Tatui took part in a pilot trial. Six teachers coordinated the student's activities. After face-to-face training, the students participated in tele-education, using a ‘cybertutor’ (an educational environment based on the website) and discussion lists. There were 15 face-to-face interactions, followed by more than 200 offline and 50 online interactions. The students learned about seven health topics. During the following year, 20 of the students used their knowledge to teach people from their local communities. We estimate that about 3000 people, including children, adults and the elderly, received public health education during events in Tatui and in their schools. The pilot trial showed that face-to-face and distance interventions in the rural city of Tatui were a feasible method of disseminating public health information.

Abstract:
This article outlines the most important barriers for Bulgarian and Polish students that abandon or significantly reduce the execution of their entrepreneurial intentions and the start of new businesses. There are significant and diverse barriers in the implementation of entrepreneurial activities, but it is especially important that they are outlined for young people with a desire and intentions for entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial activities developed by young educated people are very important for the initiating and identifying changes in the economy’s and society’s structures. An increasingly important place in this process is taken by higher education institutions, which with their adequate training can "turn" intentions into real entrepreneurial activities or completely lock people with great potential for entrepreneurship. The aim of this article is to highlight some key barriers preventing students to develop their business intentions and initiatives. They are based on a survey conducted in Bulgaria and Poland among students studying entrepreneurial subjects at the “St. Cyril and St. Methodius” University of Veliko Tarnovo and Maritime University of Szczecin, Poland. On this basis, some conclusions are outlined and recommendations are made to universities in terms of strengthening their role as external motivators for launching various entrepreneurial projects by their students.

Abstract:
The present study examines young Korean EFL learners' perspective of group work to discover more effective approaches in designing groups. Twenty-four Korean EFL elementary grade 5 students participated in this study. Students’ perceptions of group work were surveyed before and after they participated in a reading discussion program over a 4-month period. The result of the questionnaire showed students with Grade Level proficiency responded mostly positively to group work, felt more confident using English, and enjoyed engaging in group work. The students who were Below or Above Grade Level provided less positive responses after the 4-month period, especially the students with Below Grade Level proficiency. The result also showed that regardless of the students’ proficiency levels, factors such as assigning individual roles in groups, training and reminding the purpose of group work, and designing appropriate tasks affected the group dynamics, which ultimately influenced how the students perceived group work.

Abstract:
Most teachers may face challenges to teach the students without students’ native language to teach a foreign language. The students may get bored easily and not motivated because they have to listen to more new strange words in every meeting that they do not directly understand the words means. Thus, it needs some strategies to get the better result. Students who like doing things happily need a more relaxing learning situation to join the English classes comfortably. The study aimed to investigate the correlation of verbal, gestural, token reinforcement, speaking performance, and self-confidence. The research method used was a quantitative study with multiple linear regressions. Students of the fifth grade of SD N 1 Wates Undaan Kudus as the population took part in the positive reinforcement, self-confidence, and speaking performance test in teaching English. The data were analyzed through a statistical program of SPSS 22. Thus, there was a correlation between positive reinforcement, speaking performance, and self-confidence. The conclusion is that all positive reinforcement correlates with speaking performance and self-confidence. It means that the positive reinforcement influenced their speaking performance and their self-confidence. It is suggested that the teacher should raise their awareness to motivate students’ speaking skills for better achievement. Besides, teachers’ performance in the classroom activity deals with classroom management, encourages the students to always joyful in learning English materials, provides exercise and group discussion according to their circumstance, and performs various teaching that involves the learner’s role in the classroom activity.

Abstract:
There is a contradiction between the need to increase the ability of young people to overcome difficult life situations and the lack of understanding of ways and means to increase their viability. The hypothesis of the study is that students with different levels of autonomy have different severity of viability indicators. The study involved 107 girls and 70 young men. Researchers used the survey method. We used Student's t-test to identify the significance of differences in indicators. The article describes the levels of autonomy – low, medium and high. Autonomous, with external support, girls and boys predominate. There are more dependent girls than boys. Autonomous girls have high activity, self-esteem, social competency, adaptive styles of behaviour. Autonomous young men have high activity, positive attitudes, self-esteem,social competency, adaptive styles, self-efficacy, perseverance, internal locus, coping with stress, and satisfaction with relationships. Autonomous students with external support and autonomous students with internal support have high viability scores.

Abstract:
In this paper, the four possible language acquisition models(the Structure Building Model, the Truncation Model, the Underspecification Model, the Linking Mechanism Switching Model) are considered to examine the auxiliary verb errors produced by the young native English speaking children(L1 young children) and the Korean primary students of English. The prefunctional stage analyses such as the Structure Building Model and the Truncation Model have shown the limitations in explaining the examples such as the interpretation of wh-questions without CP, the movement of default Case subjects within VP without TP and the wh-movement in the utterance of L1 young children, and the difficulties in accounting for the auxiliary verb errors in the Korean primary students over 10 years old, The Underspecification Model has also shown the limitations in explaining the auxiliary verb be insertion errors appearing in Korean primary students’ writings, but not in L1 young children utterance. As a last resort, under the Linking Mechanism Switching Model, it is argued that, unlike English, the syntactic feature checking and agreement in Korean are operated by Merge and Binding rather than Agree and Move. Thus, both L1 young children and Korean primary students have the same syntactic structures based on UG, but the different linking mechanisms of their first languages affect to some extent the process of acquiring English as a first or foreign language. This analysis makes it possible to explain not only the auxiliary verb be insertion errors appearing only in Korean primary students’ writings, but also the similar auxiliary verb errors between L1 young children and Korean primary students. This theoretical study of the auxiliary verb errors needs more experimental studies based on empirical data. However, this theoretical approach is expected to be of a great help in understanding the syntactic processing used by L1 learners and L2 learners.

Abstract:
The pandemic period changed the education system in Indonesia. Online learning has been implemented since 2020, and face-to-face learning will gradually begin in 2021. As online learning is implemented, various learning media have been used by teachers to help students understand the material content during online learning. However, the lack of student motivation during online learning becomes the main problem. Especially for young students who find it difficult to concentrate while studying. Teachers need learning media that are more creative and attract students' attention and motivation to learn. Vocabulary is one of the basic components of English that have to be mastered by students. Therefore, this research specifically aimed to improve the English vocabulary of young learner students at SDN 1 Mambang by using Wordwall. The material given includes three vocabulary components: nouns, verbs, and adjectives. This research study is a one-shot case study that will use one participant to be given treatment. This study aimed to see the improvement or achievement of young learner students' vocabulary by using a word wall. This research is a quantitative study. The data obtained from the pre-test and post-test will be presented quantitatively. This study shows that the mean score of the student in the pre-test was 53.33, categorized as satisfactory, and the student's scores in the post-test increased by 73.33, categorized as good. After receiving treatment, the total percentage of students' vocabulary achievement development was 37.50%. This shows that word wall can increase students' vocabulary achievement and motivation to learn English.
