Abstract:
AbstractDysphagia is a sensation of food being "stuck" up in its passage from the mouth to stomach. It is of two main types, oropharyngeal dysphagia, and esophageal dysphagia. In oropharyngeal dysphagia, there is difficulty in transferring the food from the mouth to upper esophagus. Thus, this dysphagia is also called as transfer dysphagia. It occurs within 1 st 1-2 s of the swallow. We also call this dysphagia as instant dysphagia. It is almost always associated with sinobronchial symptoms. The second type of dysphagia is esophageal dysphagia in which there is difficulty in passing the food from upper esophagus to the stomach. The two main mechanisms responsible for dysphagia are either a problem with the motor function of oropharynx or esophagus (neuromuscular causes) or mechanical narrowing of oropharynx or esophagus (mechanical dysphagia). As this dysphagia occurs a little later in the act of swallowing, we can call it delayed dysphagia. The mechanical cause of dysphagia includes benign strictures, malignancies, webs and rings, retropharyngeal abscesses, Zenker′s diverticulum, cricopharyngeal bar, and some vascular causes. We report an 80-year-old male with vascular dysphagia.

Full text
Abstract:
There are no many contemporary studies of hormonal cycles with large periodicity, like Pribram’s studies of EEG periodicity of 7 to 8 years. However, the hormonal cycles with periodicity of 7 years for females and 8 years for males described in ancient acupuncture texts make full sense. During the growth and development of the girls when the hormones grow a seven-year cycle is obvious with hormonal rearrangement at age 7 when the girls change their teeth, at age 14 when their menstrual period starts, at age 21 when their wisdom teeth appear. This is followed by a period of stable hormonal content with two more hormonal rearrangements at age 28 and 35. It is followed by a period of hormonal decline with hormonal rearrangements at age 42 and 49 (7x7) when the menstrual period stops and the women cannot give birth to children any more. The same changes take place in the male body with periodicity 8 years and finishes at age 64 (8x8) when men cannot be sexually active any more. The precision of our life planning speaks of super-intelligent wise Creators.

Abstract:
The Bauhaus had a pioneering influence on design worldwide which still endures today; through education, experimentation and materialization, a revolution took place in architecture, urbanism and design for mass production. In 1918, during the immediate post-war period, Walter Gropius (1883-1969) achieved a fusion between the Kunstgewerbeschule and the Hochschule fur Bildende Kunst in Weimar, with the creation of an interdisciplinary school of design and crafts. In April 1919, he was elected director of the school which was by then called the Staatliches Bauhaus. He also published the Bauhaus Manifesto, which remains as a pioneering moment in history, with irreversible consequences at a global scale. The Bauhaus as a school, as a method of experimentation, education, and research, embodies the idea of science applied in service of the society. At the Bauhaus, utopia was combined with pragmatism, agitation and propaganda with public service, poetry with utility, Neue Sachlichkeit with creation and freedom. Its premises continue to be relevant today with the great issues of sustainability and democracy needing to be addressed through art and technology.
