Abstract:
Over the past year, reports to the police about Black persons engaged in innocuous behaviors have bombarded the American consciousness. What do we make of them? And, equally important, what are the consequences of such reports? This Article is the first to argue that the recent spike in calls to the police against Black persons who are simply existing must be understood as a systematic phenomenon which it dubs racialized police communication. The label captures two related practices. First, racially motivated police reporting—calls, complaints, or reports made when Black persons are engaged in behavior that would not have been read as suspicious, or otherwise worthy of police involvement had they been White. Second, racially weaponized police reporting—calls, complaints, or reports made against Blacks in an effort to capitalize on law enforcement mistreatment of Black persons, or harm the victim because of their race.

Abstract:
Abstract This article starts from the observation that current debates about race and racism are often couched in soteriological terms such as guilt and forgiveness, or confession and exoneration, and it argues that this overlap calls for theological analysis. Using the debate about Achille Mbembe’s disinvitation from the German art festival ‘Ruhrtriennale’ 2020 as a case that is typical of a specifically Western European discourse on race, it first sketches a brief genealogy of the modern/colonial history of religio-racialisation and its intersections with Christian tradition, in which racial categories were forged in soteriological discourses, and in which, in turn, soteriological categories were shaped by racist discourses. It proposes that in this process, Christianity, Whiteness and salvation were conflated in a way that has sponsored White supremacy, disguised as innocence. Engaging with performative race theory, the article concludes by making a constructive proposal for a performative theology of race that can account for the profound intersections between racism and soteriology, but also opens trajectories for transforming hegemonic discourses of race and their theological underpinnings.

Abstract:
Abstract: Construction of Body in White (BiW) revolves around plenty of challenges. Ranging from BiW fixtures to curbing weight of Body in White sheet metal design. This paper discusses about all the design aspects in BiW manufacturing in automobile and confronting challenges that occurs. At present, lots of existing theories are being applied and efforts to improve the same are being made. This paper provides a path on how components can be developed and make necessary improvements. CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) tools have been used for FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and also an example of stress analysis of automotive chassis is given. An outcome depending on behaviour of loads acting on frame is drawn. The importance of hollow tubes, tubes of different- cross sections to counter weight and ease the designing of BiW frame have been proposed. This paper also provides insight on safety parameters with current construction of tubular frame chassis. Other solutions such as hybrid tubes, foam padding and plastic trim have been pointed out in this paper. Keywords: CAE, FEA, manufacturing, loads, tubes, cycle-time, cross-section.

Abstract:
American Indians have the highest poverty rate in the United States, and dire poverty ensnares many reservations. With no private sector and abysmal infrastructure, reservations are frequently likened to third-world countries. Present-day Indian poverty is a direct consequence of present-day federal Indian law and policy. Two-hundred-year-old laws premised on Indian incompetency remain a part of the U.S. legal system; accordingly, Indian country is bound by heaps of federal regulations that apply nowhere else in the United States. The federal regulatory structure impedes tribal economic development and prevents tribes from controlling their own resources. This Article asserts the federal regulatory “white tape” is unconstitutional. By focusing on restraints upon trust land and Indian trader laws, this Article demonstrates that contemporary federal regulations impeding tribal economic development are based upon flagrantly racist ideas. This Article explores the unique relationship between Indians and the Constitution and concludes that restrictions on tribal trust land and Indian trader laws should be subjected to strict scrutiny rather than the usual rational basis review applied to legislation relating to Indians. These regulations cannot survive strict scrutiny. Once tribes are liberated from these antiquated regulations, this Article proposes that tribes be able to craft their own land use and economic policies without federal approval.

Abstract:
Michael Galban and Eugene R. H. Tesdahl have discovered and translated a Seneca version of creation that was provided by René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle, and dates back to 1678. Kevin J. White situates this 1678 version alongside other better-known Seneca versions and uses it to demonstrate the many similarities among them, the powerful memory and oratory skills of the Seneca, and the overall stability of oral culture among the Haudenosaunee.
