Abstract:
The diploma thesis focuses on the ways of waste management in an industrial enterprise and the possibilities for its improvement in terms of the waste management hierarchy. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the sustainable development of the company, environmental management systems, as well as state environmental policy. The thesis also describes the legislative framework relating to waste management and defines the rights and obligations relating to the generation, management, manipulation and treatment, and disposal of waste. The own part of the thesis discusses the current situation in the field of waste management, which has been analysed for the purposes of work. Based on this information, a method of waste management is proposed in the last part.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis concerns the posibility of application Balanced Scorecard in production company management by using Business Intelligence tools. The goals of the thesis is definic strategic goals using Balanced Scorecard method, creation of the metrics from strategic goals and design and implementation of BI application to watt key metrics. The esential concepts concerning Business Intelligence and Balanced Scorecard are defined in the theoretical part of the thesis. Esential principals of BI and basic perspectives of BSC are defined there. Effects and risks of applying Business Intelligence are discussed in the thesis. Strategic goals are defined in the practical part of the thesis. A strategic map is created from the strategic goals in the thesis. Defined strategic goals are used for the creation of the metrics that are used to create the indicators. The indicators are created in the part of the thesis where BI is implemented. Only some metrics were chosen for the implementation of BI. Sorce data is transformed and stored in the multidimensional diabase. These data and indicators are used to create OLAP cube. Then the reports are created from data in this cube. Outputs of the thesis are BSC analysis including strategic map of the goals, BI implementation using MS SQL Server and reports using MS Excel and MS ProClarity.

The third part of the thesis concerns ventilation of metalworking hall using waste heat from production machines.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis describes the work performed in the optimization of the corporate network in the company Alps Electric Czech to expand the amount of information obtained about the state of the network and thus improve the response of the IT department to potencial errors. During the optimization, a monitoring system was also deployed and its connection to the helpdesk and a tailor-made website running on the Flask microframework. With the gradual deployment, adjustments were made based on feedback from the IT department staff. Overall, the network has become more clarified, increasing the efficiency of maintenance and service.

The theoretical part describes the principles of logistics, lean production and inventory management, including their basic tools and methods. In the practical part of the thesis, Daikin Device Czech Republic Ltd. is introduced, where the analysis of the current state of supply logistics in the production hall is performed. Based on the analysis is designed kanban system including the way of its implementation. Furthermore, the risks of kanban system implementation are analyzed. These methods are ORESTE, TOPSIS and ELECTRE I. The thesis also proves the possibilities of practical application of determined methods and analyzes possible problems that could occur during handling the input data and process of selecting the "best" alternative.

Pokúša sa overiť hypotézu, že sa vložením controllingových nástrojov do rúk vedúcich pracovníkov, zlepší sa ich motivácia a zainteresovanosť, a tým i výsledky.

Abstract:
The topic of the diploma work is the use of modern methods in the management of stock. Stock represents very important part of the company's economy; its right level contributes to the increase of competitiveness of the company. The diploma work states the theoretical basis for management of stock and analyzes in detail the chosen methods -- kanban a Just-In-Sequence, which is often understood as a next step in implementation of the pull principle -- consumption manager inventory. The main aim of the work is the analysis of definition of the stock for the system of kanban and Just-In-Sequence and definition which effect have it's parts on the stock. According to a target of the work a hypothesis was defined. The right implementation of kanban, or Just-In-Sequence and incidence on it's parts contributes to a reduction of stock. The practical part of the work analyzes in detail the formulas of calculation of the stock in the system of kanban, it's factors are simulated and the level of stock examined. The diploma thesis is focused on implementation of lean production through using Lean Six Sigma method into an engineering company, producing cable harnesses for the automotive industry, mainly for trucks. The aim of the project is to increase production capacity by 25 %, reduce wastage rate to 3 % and design a new layout of production areas. The budget of this project is 3 million CZK. The production was slimmed down using the 5S methodology. To meet the aim of the project, three new machines had to be bought. The steps have resulted in a saving of 64 CZK per piece, which means a return on investment in about 8 months.

Diplomovou práci lze rozdělit na 3 základní části: V první z nich je popsáno prostředí výrobního podniku a specifické vlastnostmi tohoto prostředí, které ovlivňují implementaci informačního systému (IS). Dále jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy z projektového řízení a je popsán obecný průběh implementačního projektu. V jejím závěru jsou analyzovány zavedené metodiky implementace IS. Druhá část obsahuje vlastní návrh implementační metodiky, jenž zohledňuje vlastnosti definovaného prostředí. Metodika je navržena pro každého, kdo stojí před úkolem implementace informačního systému, tedy jak pro IT specialisty, tak i pro osoby, které nemají informatické vzdělání. Je založena na definovaných principech a odstraňuje nedostatky, identifikované u zavedených metodik. Ve třetí části jsou definovány kritické faktory úspěšnosti nasazení metodiky, je popsáno jak ji uvést do praxe a jak na ni dále navázat.

The diploma thesis deals with the changes of the Czech agriculture and their consequences on the changes in the entrepreneurial environment of farmers in the Czech Republic, caused by the development after the Velvet Revolution in 1989, but also the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union and subsequent adoption of the rules of the Common Agricultural Policy. The work characterizes the state of agriculture and the development of the environment of primary agricultural production after the nineties in the framework of crop production, as a prerequisite for the analysis of the links between changes in the business environment of the agrarian sector and decisions of agricultural producers on the structure of crop production. After analyzing the production structure and economic situation of the selected farm, it was evaluated that changes in the business environment were reflected in the decision-making on the production structure of crop production. Specifically, the decision on the selection of cultivated crops, the intensification of crop production and the establishment of supplier-customer relationships have changed.
