Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is the complete elaboration of a business plan for a small business in the manufacture of products from fruit. Purpose of the newly founded company is the production of high quality jams, which are free of chemical additives and dyes, and honestly made from Czech ingredients. The theoretical part deals with basic concepts in the structure of the business plan, including an explanation of the methods of analysis environment and primary marketing research of market and target customers, which are subsequently used in the analytical part of this work. The proposals of this paper compiled financial, marketing, organizational and temporal aspects of the project including risk assessment.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with the proposal of a business plan for the establishment of a company engaged in production and sale of confectionery products in the Rožnov region. To enter this relatively small but highly competitive market, a differentiation path is chosen, in particular by selling traditional and fair desserts in a home-based thematic patisserie. Another planned distribution route is the sale of coffee and selected products from a mobile stand in front of the fourth most visited museum in the Czech Republic. For the compilation of the business plan, information and data from books and online resources are used as well as data from the analysis of the company's external and internal environment. The business plan proposal itself includes a description of the company's concepts and plans, including the prediction of the financial situation of the future business.

Category management (CM) is an approach of cooperation on category development between supplier and retailer. Supplier brings the knowledge of consumer and products within the category. Retailer brings sell-out data. The whole concept is based on managing categories as strategic business units and delivering maximum value to consumer in form of satisfying his needs. Even though first CM projects in ČR started about 15 years ago, most of the companies have not been able to fully implement CM. The barriers are high organizational demands on integration of CM into company structure and the necessity of trust between the supplier and the retailer in form of sharing data. The objective of this thesis is to identify opportunities in CM based on the analysis of current business process in Plzeňský Prazdroj, a. s. Opportunities identification is reached through comparison of ideal business process defined by specialized literature with the real experience from Plzeňský Prazdroj. Opportunities to enhance the current setting of the CM process will be summarized based on the comparison. Also, new areas of possible utilization of CM will be pointed out.

The goal of the thesis is to suggest a study of Moravian wine and cultural center (MVKC) in the locality historically tied to the cultivation of wine. The plot of land is also attractive because it is a part of the southern slope below the castle Špilberk. The property is a house with a developed network of cellars which the new proposal must take into account. Urban and mass solution of the proposal assume completing the street lines as well as the creation of the original solution which consists of a street facade formed by a large glass wall shaded by perforated aluminum plates. The plates create a unique mosaic with the design of grapevine.

This diploma thesis is focused on examining the activities of production planning and examining the efficiency of the selected machine in the selected company. The theoretical part summarizes the most important findings and methods of lean manufacturing and corrective measures to prevent or eliminate downtime. In the analytical part, the selected machine is examined in terms of the production process, then an analysis of the current state and assessment of the collected data is performed. Furthermore, an analysis of the decision-making process in production planning for a selected machine was performed and shortcomings in planning were assessed. The practical part contains suggestions for removing the identified bottlenecks.

The aim of this thesis is the implementation of lean manufacturing principles according to the lean methodology in selected company to minimize waste and effectiveness of production. The theoretical part is focused on defining the terms lean manufacturing, waste and lean methods that serve as the foundation for the practical part. The practical part is divided into several parts. First step is to do a SWOT analysis of production in a particular company. Using the lean tools, we find the root cause of the problem and propose solutions to effectiveness the manufacturing process. Part of the proposals will also benefit the proposed solutions. It is necessary to note that according to the lean methodology, not every proposal must automatically have a financial impact.

The thesis is divided into three parts, the theoretical part, analysis of the current state and design part. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to risk, risk analysis and tools for risk reduction. Some of these theoretical findings are then applied in the next section where these analyzes are used to the identification of risks. On the basis of these analyzes in the final part there will be designed proposals and recommendations, which should lead to a reduction of identified risks, including financial enumeration.

The aim of this diploma thesis is experimental verification of the influence of ceramics composition on the manipulation strength of the cores in the Shaw method. The work deals mainly with influence of the amount of acid in the composition of the binding fluid on the handling strength of the cores and the strength of the cores after annealing. The thesis further examines the possibility of increasing the handling strength of the cores by adding phosphoric acid to the binding fluid.

The thesis developed in the field of study Electrical Manufacturing and Management is aimed at optimizing and streamlining of production plastics vacuum forming plastics technology rolled in a particular company. The theoretical part focused on the description of the principles of industrial engineering and survey methods that are fundamentals of lean manufacturing or the Toyota production system. The larger part is devoted to methods of 5S and SMED. The practical part of the optimization steps are designed to ensure increased production, balanced production and increase quality, which are based primarily on methods of 5S and SMED. To complement the work given the changes in production processes resulting from other methods of industrial engineering. Several proposals have been practically applied in the production are assessed and their benefits.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis focuses on isolation and taxonomic classification of yeast species isolated during the red wine (Pinot noir) fermentation. Grapes were grown under organic and integrated farming in South Moravia wine region, Czech Republic. Processing was controlled – for inoculation was used strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae BS6. Polymerase chain reaction followed by restriction fragment lenght polymorphism of PCR-amplified fragments (PCR-RFLP) was used for yeast species identification. For DNA analysis we used coding region of 5.8S ITS rDNA which was amplified using ITS1-ITS4 primers. Amplicon was digested by three restriction endonucleases - HaeIII, HinfI and HhaI. Isolates were divided into eleven groups using UPGMA cluster analysis (software BioNumerics). We identified following yeast species: Candida valida, Candida vini, Issatchenkia occidentalis, Pichia fermentans, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Zygosaccharomyces bailii. We were not able to identify some yeast species. Differences between organic and integrated farming were demonstrated with varying composition of yeast species.

Abstract:
This thesis deals with the identification of wine yeasts isolated from the grape must using PCR-RFLP method. The yeasts were isolated from Pinot Noir grape variety must. Grapes were grown and produced in accordance with the requirements placed on organic and integrated farming. Samples were processed in the laboratory, where pure cultures of individual yeast were obtained. A commercial kit was used for yeast DNA isolation. Obtained DNA was used for further analysis. Using the polymerase chain reaction and the primers ITS1 and ITS4 a specific segment of 5.8S rDNA-ITS region was amplified. The PCR products were then detected by electrophoresis in an agarose gel, and after a subsequent purification, three restriction enzymes: HaeIII, HinfI and HhaI were subjected to restriction analysis. The DNA was digested to fragments specific for yeast species and they were detected by agarose electrophoresis. Similarity of these isolates was compared using BioNumerics program and the result is dendrogram of genetic similarity of isolated yeast. The basic chemical analysis of samples must was also performed.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with innovation of the technological process of casting called Fan support in the company Honeywell Aerospace Olomouc s.r.o. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to component description which is made of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V. The section is also devoted to jet engine TFE 731, which is the engine where our particular component has specific function. Another part is focused on theoretical analysis of material characteristics of titanium alloys and their machinability. In the following section there are considered alternatives of machine suppliers with subsequent selection of the multifunctional CNC milling-turning center DMC 80 U duoBLOCK equipped with Jetstream technology. The transfer of the production to another machine is accompanied by an innovation of the technological process, making new fixtures and optimalization of the cutting tools. The section is also dedicated to static analysis of the component in operation 7 supported by finite element method (FEM). The final part of the thesis includes evaluation of the costs and savings achieved by innovation of the technological process.

The target of this dissertation work is the process of analysis of recruitment and selection of employees for a manufacturing company. The strength and weakness of this process depends on acquired information and knowledge. The contribution of this work consists of specific improvements and recommendations in this domain which can help increase the effectiveness in recruitment and selection of employees. The basis for the empirical part of this work consists of consultations with employees of the HR department and the analysis of internal materials. This system is compared with theoretical and generally valid principles. Questionnaire enquiry, with cooperation of new employees and employees of HR department, are used in the second phase. Respondents are asked about the satisfaction of the processes applied in hiring. Employees of HR department are questioned regarding the procedure used in hiring of new employees.

The diploma work is dealing with solution of concrete problem from the industrial practice. The main aim is to increase the quality in trailer production. The section of state of the art includes the description of selected characteristics about the company AGADOS, analysis of production process including controlling and monitoring activities. The theoretical study introduces processes and methods of planning for continuous improving of quality. The evaluation of monitored results with the support of IS tools was proceeded by construction of recognized divergences by the help of Pareto diagram. After the implementation of corrective proceedings to improve the quality, which was estimated in terms of processing engineering, repeated evaluations have been applied. The effectiveness of proposed proceedings is illustrated by construction of Pareto diagrams, which are presenting the complex examination of changes before and after implementation of corrective proceedings.

This diploma thesis is about integration process of assembly line automation on rail assembly. In the beginning is introduced Bosch Company, then follows up theoretical part about automation and assembly lines. After theoretical introduction continues description of current state of rail assembly and choice the best line for automation and its detailed description. After that, the work deals with finding of the best solution for line automation. Found solutions are evaluated using the decision matrix. After the best one of them is chosen. There is also calculation of investments, because the one of important conditions is, that payback period has to be less than two years. Next step is choice of the most suitable supplier and integrator, which can cope with all requirements. At the end of thesis is analysis of risks done and thanks to this, are potentials for improvement of workplace safety found.

This diploma thesis assesses influence of treatment of feed components on feed compounds and related animal production. It is primarily focused on different degrees of disintegrating of particular feed components and comparison of various grinding machines. It also describes essential nutrients contained in feed and their function in organism, common types of engines used in compounded feed production. The goal of the diploma thesis' project is to evaluate an effect of various disintegrate of components in hammer and cylindric grinding machine. Another goal of diploma thesis' project is to approve or disapprove four hypotheses. H01 "All components used in compounded feed production can be ground by observed types of grinding machines". H02 "Economic demands of grinding is equal for all observed grinding machines". H03 "Uniformity of ground particles is the same for all observed grinding machines". H04 Quality of grinding does not affect nutritional value of compounded feed for observed grinding machines and observed animals. It was chosen 5 grinding machines for the purpose of research which are commonly used in agricultural companies and feed manufacturers. Data was collected from operators of grinding machines or feed manufacturer's experts. The thesis discuss some abroad researches for comparison of results. The results discover that most effective are cylindric grinding machines, but they are inappropriate for some feed components. Good results have also hammer grinding machines with upper load. All observed grinding machines except roller produced material with low uniformity. Hypotheses H01, H02 and H03 were disapproved by the research. Hypothesis H04 was neither approved nor disapproved.

The subject of the thesis is to assess whether the company MBB Technik Ltd. use some management tools, namely the management of overhead costs with budgets and calculation of variable costs. If so, whether it is beneficial for the manager, or whether it has got just purely administrative character. At first I described the different types of accounting, which we might find in the practice, and then I focused on management, where I defined the different types of costs and ways to control costs, which we might find in company. Specifically I also pay attention to management of overhead costs and calculation of variable costs. Eventually I worked out in detail what kind of budgets the company MBB Technik Ltd. used, properly I described them and I showed them how much managers are interested in budgets.
