Abstract:

Thesis discusses a current topic of decision making on most effective strategy of utilization of real estates. The aim of this diploma thesis is to compare the economic advantage of model-based strategies for the utilization of real estates, to identify variants of acquisition, lease, alternatively their combinations, to evaluate these variants through income, expenditures and equity, to analyze and subsequently to find the most financially effective variant of housing. In the theoretical part, there is analyzed the conceptual apparatus, but also the relevant theoretical and legislative framework. Further, the methodology of the analysis is stated, where is chosen equity as the decisive criterion. Using this criterion, the best option of real estate utilization is detected from four variants of real estate utilization from the financial point of view, while the cash flow development is monitored in the practical part of the diploma thesis. At the end of the thesis the advantages, disadvantages and risks of strategies are formulated and recommendations are made.

In my study for the Master´s thesis "Corporate Financial Strategy " I expain terms, such as enterprise financing and its structure, long and short-term financing, external, internal and alternative financing optimum financial structure and its costs.This all I applicated in the study where try to asses the fianancial structura and financing of real company. I analyse the ways how to secure the company´s liquidity and solvency, financial equilibrium and healt by means of the financial analysis of the activity and results of the company.

The aim of the thesis is testing of created investment strategies on American capital market. The beginning of the thesis is devoted to the explanation of principles of Walk-forward optimalization, description of tested time period and shares and other starting points of the thesis. Afterwards several tools of technical analysis are used to create two trading systems, which are then tested. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of results of both trading system and to suggestions, which could improve both trading systems performance.

The aim of this thesis is to write a business plan and a marketing strategy for a company which is active in sales of wine. So the aim is to determine missions, visions and goals of the company. The business plan should also show if it is financially feasible. The thesis contains the competition and the consumer analysis, which are important for drawing up the business plan and the marketing strategy. The marketing strategy is based on the marketing mix. The main requirement is to make the business plan usable in practise. Abstract:

The goal of the thesis is to valuate the company Rodinný pivovar Bernard a.s. for the purpose of possible sale or merger in the future. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part explains the valuation procedure, particular analyses and methods used in the practical part. A discounted cash flow method was applied, specifically the two-phased model using free cash flow to the firm. The practical part started with a strategic and financial analysis, which helped to build a financial plan. The financial plan made a basis for valuation of the company by income method.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the value of the construction company as at March 1, 2010. The thesis is divided into 2 parts -- theoretical and practical. Theoretical part deals with techniques, methods, and tools of company evaluation. Practical part applies these methods to the company. Basic information about the company is presented in the beginning of the practical part. The following strategic analysis consists of analysis of development of macro-environment and micro-environment, and financial analysis, which evaluates the performance of the company. The financial plan of the company is prepared based on acquired information. Two-phase discounted cash flow method in the version of FCFF was applied for the valuation of the company.

Ways for self development of teaching strategy Abstract: The aim of this thesis is to analyse the diagnostic tools designed by M. Hejny and his team. These tools focus on teaching styles in education, observing the personal development of a mathematics intern teacher. The study materials i have obtained during my practice are used to describe and analyse the teacher's educational style, with the use of twenty defining parameters. My thesis is based on Gabriela Hlavata's master thesis, a teacher who describes her own shift from transmissible to constructive teaching in mathematics classes. Hlavata depicts this shift clearly, hence the reason I have decided to describe it with a set of parameters measuring the intern teacher's educational style. The subsequent aim is to trace my own evolution in teaching mathematics. Practice and materials gained in my graduation, together with the twenty educational parameters as outlined in my thesis, will serve to analyse and describe my own educational style. The subject of this thesis is proper names in Czech and Spanish language and proper names in translation from Spanish into Czech. The theoretical part of the thesis comprises of an overview of the current state of investigation in the field both in Czech and in Spanish. In Czech linguistics, onomastics is a comparatively developed discipline. In Spanish, it is mostly grammatical manuals that deal with proper names. In both languages, authors tend to agree on the definition and classification of proper names into anthroponyms, toponyms and chrematonyms; however, Spanish authors usually do not separate chrematonyms as a category under such name. Furthermore, nobody has yet defined or classified the functions of proper names in Spanish language (an action which has already been done for the Czech language). Opinions on the translation of proper names differ to a large degree. Authors recognize proper names as polyfunctional units and agree that their translation (or non-translation) is in large measure conditioned by norms and specific historically conditioned conventions; by the function of the text, text type and genre; by the relationship of the working languages and so on. Abstract:

The subject of this master thesis is to examine balbutism from a perspective of adult stutterers. The thesis is broken down into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is subsequently divided into five chapters. The introductory chapter defines motivation and a process of motivating another person. The following chapter deals with communication, an anxiety and panic resulting from communication, a motivation towards communication and additionally also the speech impairments under which stuttering is included. The third chapter specifically deals with stuttering, its origins, symptoms and classification. The fourth chapter describes diagnostic methods of stuttering employed in Czech Republic. The chapter about therapeutic methods concludes the theoretical part of the thesis. The practical part is centered on a research analysis and employs a qualitative method, namely a grounded theory method. Eight adult stutterers between the ages 31 and 50 were included in the study that took a form of questionnaire. Its primary aim was to examine the way in which adult stutterers view their own stuttering. This diploma thesis deals with the current phenomenon of video on-demand and the strategy of the streaming company Netflix when entering the European market. In the opening chapters it is necessary to explain the boom of the video on-demand services (VoD) in the context of television history and its position in relation to traditional linear broadcasting. Subsequently, the dramaturgical line and the programming offer of the company are presented , which is undoubtedly a competitive advantage of Netflix. In this context, Netflix's biggest competitors and their approach to production of original content are mentioned. The challenges Netflix is facing in its international expansion are also mentioned, including the need to tailor its offer and produce local content when entering new markets. Afterwards the European market as a whole is analyzed with regard to the specificities of the region and the key steps that were necessary to successfully start doing business on the continent. The main aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the market value of a corporation for the purpose of choosing an alternative to maintain the owner's regular financial income or to ochieve a one-off income from the sale of this business corporation. The chosen company was MADETA a. S. The DCF method was chosen for the award. All this was used to determine the market value of the corporate corporation as of December 31, 2015. Abstract:

In recent decades, it was shown that belowground competition for some plants may take form of the tragedy of the commons (TOC). In these plants, the competing neighbours invest more in root systems than would be appropriate for optimal nutrient uptake for the group and also more than they do when grown alone. However, there is also strong evidence that other species do not follow TOC, and tailor their root system to best nutrient exploitation irrespectively of competitor presence. The root investment strategy of these plants should correspond to the ideal free distribution (IFD). In my thesis I focus on two aspects:  I use game theoretical models to explore, whether those strategies can coexist within species and also whether different species can coexist if they have different strategy. From this model I draw predictions, which I test by meta-analysis.  Using Agrostis stolonifera as a model, I test assumptions on nutrient and neighbour perception, which underlie TOC and IFD models. I show that according to mathematical models, those two strategies can coexist in different species in a community, but cannot coexist within a species. Within a species, the TOC strategy should always dominate, once it appears. This can be extrapolated to macroevolutionary scale - once TOC occurs in certain clade, it should...
