Abstract:
Recent global turnoils has been significantly affected the Vietnamese stock markets due to its lack of efficiency, which can potentially lead to increasing stock price crash risks. This study examines the impacts of earning management on stock price crash risk for 202 listed companies on the Vietnames Stock Market from 2013 to 2022. Our empirical analysis reveals a positive association between earnings management and the subsequent year’s stock price crash risk. Further analysis suggests this effect is statistically significant only for upward earnings management, leading to reported earnings exceeding actual profitability. These findings highlight the low efficiency of the Vietnamese stock market, characterized by limited information transparency and a high proportion of individual investors, who tend to overreact to earnings information. Based on these results, the study offers policy recommendations for the Vietnamese stock market.

Abstract:
Currently, there is a huge demand for secondary school education worldwide especially in the developing countries such as Vietnam. School leadership is occupying a central position in educational reform. In order to meet this for the secondary school education, the Vietnamese government tries to develop effective school leadership in its education policy agenda. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of factors on instructional leadership of principals in lower secondary education. The study was completed with 97 secondary public schools teachers and principals in the North of Vietnam. A quantitative research design was used to conduct this study. The data was analyzed through factors such as internal and external from the role of principal in instructional leadership. Research findings underline that instructional leadership is had directly by external such as “The degree of autonomy of the school for instructional activities”, “Awareness of the managers and teachers about leading teaching activities” and “education innovation” more internal such as “System of guiding documents of management levels on teaching activities”; “Conditions of facilities and finance for school teaching activities” and “Principal’s training level” Principals should recognize the change of the context and enhance the improvement of teachers’ shared responsibility and partnership in school decision making. Therefore, the Vietnamese government should make sure to have many positive issues that may have effective instructional leadership capacity in order to improve the culture of teaching and learning in Vietnames secondary schools.

Abstract:
Housing in Vietnames megacities is quite expensive due to limited land availability. Besides, green housing investment requires higher implementation costs than non-green housing investments, plus a Green Building certification fee implemented by international organizations. Despite specific difficulties and problems, green real estate projects bring economic benefits to both investors and users in the long run. Green building development is a trend that is particularly interested in by governments and real estate developers. Through analyzing the current status of Green Building development in Vietnam, the authors have discovered barriers, limitations, and proposed solutions. To develop green buildings effectively, investors need to operate a 5-step process throughout the project life cycle, including Green planning — Green design — Green construction — Green operation — Green lifestyle. Using environmentally friendly materials, energy-saving efficiency in green housing is no longer an unattainable dream for urban residents in Vietnam.

Abstract:
Purpose: The objective of this study was to analyze Vietnamese legal legislation regarding corruption in the private sector, identify its current shortcomings, and assess its impact on the Vietnamese economy since its adoption in 2018. Theoretical framework: There have been many studies to assess corruption in Vietnam in many aspects, including the overview of corruption in Vietnam, the influence of corruption on economic development, and the consequences of corruption. However, there is still much to investigate and learn about the impact of the current provisions on corruption in the private sector on Vietnam’s economy. Design/methodology/approach: The study uses secondary data from the Provincial Competitiveness Index Report (PCI Vietnam) issued by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Besides, the article analyzes Vietnam's Corruption Control Index (CCI), which is assessed annually by the World Bank (WB). At the same time, the authors refer to the data on Vietnam's GDP and make a comparison with the CC index to clarify the article’s objective. The authors also use a qualitative method by analyzing previous studies to assess the corruption in the private sector in Vietnam, the rules of law concerning private corruption, and its impact on the economy. Findings: Vietnam has had specific legislative achievements in criminalizing private corruption in the 2015 Criminal Law and promulgating anti-corruption provisions in the 2018 Anti-Corruption Law. These regulations had a positive impact on Vietnam's economy. However, corruption in the private sector in Vietnam is quite severe, especially bribery in business. Research, Practical & Social implications: We suggest future research of in-depth analysis of the causes and effects of specific kinds of corruption acts in the private sector. Originality/value: The results indicate that the new provisions on corruption in the private sector since it was adopted have positively affected the development of Vietnam's economy and the fight against corruption.

The article investigates people's diplomacy of Democratic Republic of Vietnam (DRV) from 1965 to1973, aiming to gain American and Western support and sympathy for the Vietnamese revolution. The resistance war against the US became more difficult and fiercer when the US government deployed more political and diplomatic activities to support its military campaigns in South Vietnam as well as negotiations at the Paris Conference. In addition, the Sino-Soviet split had been growing more tense, causing many difficulties for Vietnam’s anti-imperialist struggle. Therefore, the Labor Party of Vietnam and the Government of the DRV paid great attention to people’s diplomacy aiming to demonstrate Vietnam's position on American War, the legitimacy of the anti-American resistance war, thereby bringing popular pressure to bear on US government to sign the 1973 Paris Peace Accords and withdraw US military troops.

Abstract:
The research work was conducted for induced breeding of Vietnames Koi (Anabas testudineus) using carpPG extract and Ovaprim hormone at Tasty Fish and Feeds Industries Limited, Melandah, Jamalpur during March to May, 2015. Brood fishes were reared for 4-5 months in the brood rearing pond by providing farm-made artificial feed (containing 32% protein) for maturation before onset of breeding season. Two different hormones i.e., PG-PG (both for male and female), and PG-Ovaprim (PG for male and Ovaprim for female) were used as inducing agents for the purpose of induction of breeding A. testudineus. The broods were induced with PG-PG hormone at the doses of 2 mg PG/Kg body weight of male and 7 mg PG/Kg body weight of female and PG-Ovaprim hormone were used at the doses of 2 mg PG/Kg body weight of male and 7 ml Ovaprim/Kg body weight of female and designated as treatments T1 and T2, respectively. Ovulation rates (100%) were similar in both the treatments, whereas, fertilization, hatching, and survival rates were 78.11±3.24%, 70.22±3.40%, and 51.22±3.96% in T1 and 71.00±3.97%, 60.89±4.20%, and 48.89±4.41% in T2, respectively. Although comparatively better breeding performance was found for carp PG extract but these values were not significantly higher compared to Ovaprim. Therefore, comparing the breeding performance and considering the cost-benefit analysis it is suggested that Ovaprim could be used as an alternative of carp PG extract for the induced breeding of Vietnames koi.Asian J. Abstract:
The Sino-Vietnamese relationship is characterized by asymmetry, yet Vietnam’s post-Cold War foreign policy towards China encompasses three paradigms: (a) internal and external balancing against China, (b) greater international integration to prevent political and economic dependence on China and (c) ‘cooperation’ with China on mutual interests while ‘struggling’ against China’s encroachment on Vietnam’s sovereignty. The ongoing dispute in the South China Sea presents a primary security concern for Vietnam as well as a challenge to its bilateral relations with China, particularly as maritime tensions provoke nationalist and anti-China protests among the Vietnamese public. This article presents an analysis of anti-China protests in Vietnam that resulted from South China Sea tensions between 2007 and 2017 in order to examine whether the protests—which are rare in Vietnam—had any effect on Vietnam’s foreign policy towards China. The findings reveal that the protests did not result in a change in Vietnam’s foreign policy towards China both during the maritime crises or in the long term.

Abstract:
This article examines the triangular relationship among the Chinese community of northern Vietnam, the North Vietnamese government, and China, focusing in particular on how the relationship affected the ethnic and national identities of Chinese residents in North Vietnam between 1954 and 1978. Scrutiny of the two important issues of citizenship and the Chinese school system reveals that North Vietnamese leaders adopted lenient policies toward Chinese residents mainly because they saw the relationship between the Vietnamese state and the Chinese community as part and parcel of North Vietnam's relationship with China. These policies ultimately contributed to a delay in the assimilation of Chinese residents, and by the end of the 1970s they still had not completed the transformation from well-treated sojourners into citizens of Vietnam. Though many Chinese residents embraced a status of privileged outsider, others willingly participated on Vietnam's behalf in the war against America. After reunification, the desire to clarify loyalty, i.e. to “purify” the nation-state, led the Vietnamese government to initiate an aggressive process of forced assimilation. This policy, and the deterioration of relations between Vietnam and China in the late 1970s, triggered an exodus of Chinese residents.

Abstract:
Due to the lingering impacts of the Vietnam war and the difficulties that Vietnam has been confronting in the post-war period, traditional cultural values in rural areas in North Vietnam were neglected. Since Đổi mới (in 1986), the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese government have drawn more concern and been thoroughly aware of the role of culture on Vietnam’s developing path of the country. In addition, the remarkable growth of Vietnam’s economy recently paves the way for Vietnamese residents to rebuild and renew their spiritual lifeas well as enjoy benefits created based on traditional cultural values. This research elucidates the resilience of conventional cultural values in rural areas in North Vietnam in the Đổi mới period, particularly emphasizing the following aspects: Inhabitants’ contributions to build and rebuild temples and pagodas; reinstating conventional rituals and festivals; restoring family customs, and compiling village convention.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the factors that affect handicraft export from Vietnam to trading partners in the period 2007–2017, and how those factors influence the export of handicraft products of Vietnam. Design/methodology/approach The research uses the approach of gravity model based on panel data to evaluate the export of Vietnamese handicraft to 50 main trading partners, covering the period from 2007 to 2017. Findings The estimated results reveal that Vietnam’s GDP, importer’s GDP, trading partner’s population, Vietnam’s inflation, the economic distance between Vietnam and importer, the openness of Vietnam, importing country’s common language and the issue that both Vietnam and importer are member of APEC are the main factors affecting Vietnamese handicraft export. Research limitations/implications This study also has some limitations. It is limited in the data, as some other areas in the world have not been observed and included in the research. In the future, a study with large-scale data of space and time should be conducted, which will certainly give a universal result and fewer errors. However, this paper, in our opinion, provides a significant result and may help the government and policy makers to undertake appropriate measures to improve and promote the export of Vietnamese handicrafts to the world markets. Practical implications The research describes the current situation, and it studies factors influencing Vietnam’s handicraft export using the qualitative analysis. The result should be useful for the policy maker and enterprises to promote export activities of Vietnamese handicrafts to international markets. Social implications Handicraft export of Vietnam plays an important part in retaining the culture value and social development as well as encouraging sustainable development for the rural poor within the country. Originality/value The past research related to Vietnamese handicraft export almost analyzed the situation to promote export handicrafts. This research is based on the study of factors affecting trade and the gravity model to elaborate and supplement the factors that affect the export of handicraft in accordance with the actual conditions of Vietnam.

Abstract:
During the period of Germany’s reunification in the early 1990s, disagreement between Germany and Vietnam over the return of Vietnamese individuals to Vietnam escalated into a diplomatic dispute that also spilled over into Vietnam’s negotiations with the European Union over a major eu–Vietnam treaty. In mid-1995, however, the German and Vietnamese governments finally agreed on a repatriation arrangement that allowed Germany to begin deporting about 40,000 Vietnamese who were living in Germany illegally. This article explores the episode in the wider context of diplomatic dispute resolution. While Germany was demanding full cooperation from Vietnam on the issue of returning Vietnamese nationals, the Vietnamese government initially resisted large-scale repatriation for economic and social reasons. Hanoi attempted to frame the discussion within bilateral negotiations, economic costs and human rights, whereas Bonn argued from the perspective of customary international law and applied increasingly coercive diplomacy. German authorities escalated the disagreement and made economic threats with the aim of changing Hanoi’s behaviour. In order to frame this approach analytically, this article uses a modified form of coercive diplomacy. The analysis proceeds in three stages: first, the article analyses the origins of the dispute, which had its roots in German reunification; second, it evaluates the legal arguments advanced by each side; and third, it investigates Germany’s ‘soft’ coercive diplomacy and Vietnam’s response. The article concludes with an evaluation of Germany’s approach, benchmarking 1995’s diplomatic outcome against results on the ground, namely the number of returnees to Vietnam.

Research results show that in Ho Chi Minh's point of view, “without a teacher, there is no education” and that a true teacher must ensure ideological, professional and ethical standards. The above conceptions seem to be the implication of the problem of teacher training in pedagogical universities in the context of educational innovation and comprehensively meeting output standards.

Abstract:
This paper examines the development of Vietnamese studies in post–World War II Japan. During the Vietnam War, Vietnamese studies in Japan was developed by a young generation of academics who were shocked by war coverage. Some of these scholars viewed Vietnamese society and its nationalist spirit as their “ideal social model,” and dedicated themselves to research topics centered on Vietnam’s rural society, revolution, and nationalism. However, when fieldwork became possible in the 1990s after the Đổi Mới reforms, research subjects became diversified among scholars who came after the Vietnam War generation as they encountered the country’s diverse realities.

Vietnam's long history starts from the effort to gain independence from France, the prolonged civil war between Communist North Vietnam and nationalist South Vietnam, to the Vietnamese invasion of Cambodia, which led to the massive migration of Vietnamese people to various countries using boats so that refugees This Vietnamese, known as the "Boat People." This study provides a comprehensive explanation of the background of the migration of Vietnamese refugees to Galang Island, the role of UNHCR and the Government of Indonesia in overcoming these problems, and their lives on Galang Island. This historical research was carried out successively from the heuristic process taken from the Vietnam-camp refugee document and observations on Galang Island. The data is then verified, interpreted analytically and synthetically, and presented in descriptive-explanative historiography. Apart from the pluses and minuses of various aspects of the history of Vietnamese refugees on Galang Island from 1979 to 1996, the Indonesian government has been maximal in overcoming the problem of Vietnamese refugees.

Abstract:
The article analyses Vietnam’s commitment to implementing the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) of the World Trade Organization (WTO) from a legal perspective. With the TFA’s importance in terms of trade effects, not to mention its binding scope for all WTO members, Vietnam has reasons to make every effort to complete the TFA’s commitments as soon as possible. Therefore, a review of Vietnamese law to align with the TFA’s obligations and commitments is essential and meaningful. Vietnam’s legal documents reviewed in this study have a direct impact on its foreign trade. Most of the TFA’s duties have already been codified in Vietnamese law, with just a small portion of the remaining specified obligations likely to be incorporated into domestic legal documents in the near future. Full compliance with the TFA, as well as practical implementation, would be a stepping stone toward a variety of benefits for Vietnam’s economic development. Vietnam, TFA, Customs law

Abstract:
Using data from 2013 to 2021, this study assesses Vietnam’s trade with Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) countries. Although this market has a high trade turnover and accounts for a significant proportion of Vietnam’s total trade with the rest of the world, the results show that Vietnam overall has a trade deficit with RCEP countries. Vietnam’s trade with RCEP countries is negatively affected by two factors: (1) Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Vietnam and (2) the distance between countries. In contrast, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and trade openness of RCEP member countries has positive effects on Vietnam’s trade with RCEP countries. This leads to some recommendations, if the Government of Vietnam will implement them, to address Vietnam’s trade with RCEP countries, including: (1) policies to promote successful joint ventures between Vietnamese enterprises and FDI enterprises; and (2) plans to focus on boosting exports to major markets such as Australia, Japan, Korea, and New Zealand in the RCEP. Abstract:
Since 2001, Vietnam has gradually built and implemented strategic and comprehensive partnerships with some of the World’s great powers. The behaviors of Vietnam have brought skepticism from international community. Besides, the differences in the nature of “Strategic Partnership”, “Comprehensive Partnership” and “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership” in Vietnam's foreign policy are paid much attention to by scholars and scientific researchers. Because of the long-term strategic national interests, Vietnam-US relations strongly elevated from the normalization of bilateral relations to the level of comprehensive partners in 2013. Since 2017, the two countries have planned to upgrade their relations from comprehensive partnership level to strategic partnership level. In this context, the paper focuses on the application of systemic approaches in Vietnam's foreign policy making, with the content “The Process of Making Vietnam’s Foreign Policy with the United States based on David Easton’s Model”. The paper will analyze the process of making Vietnam’s foreign policy with Unites States based on David Easton’s Model. Abstract:
The paper aims to analyze the trade balance between Vietnam and China and assess the impact of its key determinants, with a focus on the US-China trade war, using the autoregressive distributed lag model for quarterly data from Q1 2009 to Q4 2022. The statistical analysis shows that although Vietnam's trade balance with China shows increasing deficits, the US-China trade war has a positive impact on Vietnam as its export-import ratio with China increases in both the long and short run. We also find that the impact of participation in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is positive but not statistically significant. We also find evidence that several factors have a positive and significant impact on the trade balance, including Vietnam's growth rate, Vietnam's industrial production index, and China's population. On the other hand, some factors, such as the exchange rate between Chinese yuan and Vietnamese dong and the population of Vietnam, are found to have a significant negative impact. These findings can provide evidence to help Vietnamese businesses and policymakers formulate trade policies with China, especially in the current complex geopolitical context.

Abstract:
This article focuses on examining the impact of factors affecting Vietnam’s wood products export to member countries of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). The gravity model is employed with reference to previous empirical studies and the practical conditions of Vietnam. In addition, we also consider the influence of the US’s accession to the CPTPP on the export turnover of Vietnam's wooden furniture. The Random Effects Model (REM) is used to analyze the panel data of CPTPP countries in the period 1996-2015. The results show that the supply of wood materials, furniture import duties of CPTPP partners, Vietnam's economic and trade expansion have the strongest impact on the wood product export of Vietnam into the CPTPP market. Besides, Vietnam’s wooden furniture industry still enjoys the benefits from the Agreement whether the US becomes a member of CPTPP or not, as long as Vietnam has proper preparations to meet the requirements of the Agreement.

Franchising occurred in Vietnam during the implementation of government policy for economic reform and openness in the mid-1990s. The Vietnam-specific franchise law was passed in January 2006 to create a stable growth in the franchise sector in Vietnam. The legal framework in Vietnam generally follows international legal frameworks. However, the legal framework of franchising businesses is still uncertain. This paper explores Vietnam’s franchising law and displays a comparison to the legal framework of Thai franchising law and the Republic of Korea franchising law. The paper concludes that while Vietnam’s franchising law generally conforms to international standards, some legal issues should be addressed for further development of the Vietnamese franchising sector.

Abstract:
After war, years of hostility and a long period of gradually improving Party and state relations, the study of China has begun to re-emerge in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Vietnam has had a sinological tradition for hundreds of years, linked to China by history, language, trade, a common border and in a myriad of other ways. From the mid-1950s until the early 1970s, thousands of Vietnamese students and officials studied in the People's Republic of China. Today the People's Republic remains Vietnam's key strategic threat. But the PRC, Taiwan, Hong Kong and overseas Chinese communities are also among Vietnam's key trade partners and a growing source of investment for its economic reforms.Given this close relationship – including the direct hostility in the late 1970s and early to mid–1980s, one of a series of conflicts going back hundreds of years – it is perhaps paradoxical that the study of China in Vietnam has remained relatively weak. During the war against the French which led to the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945 and the victory at Dien Bien Phu, Vietnamese sinology was a field largely limited to one or two universities and institutes in Hanoi and some additional capacity in Hue and Saigon, with scholars trained in either the older Vietnamese or French tradition. The thousands of Vietnamese who studied in China in the 1950s and 1960s were trained largely for other fields, although Chinese studies did see some development during the 1949 to 1966 period.

Abstract:
During the Vietnam War, South Vietnamese students were some of the most vocal activists asserting multiple visions for Vietnam’s future. Students’ attitudes spanned the political spectrum from staunchly anti-Communist to supportive of the National Liberation Front. Like young people throughout the world in the 1960s, students in South Vietnam embodied the spirit of the global Sixties as a hopeful moment in which the possibility of freedom energized those demanding political change. South Vietnam’s university students staged protests, wrote letters, and drew up plans of action that tried to unite the disparate political interests among the nation’s young people as politicians and generals in Saigon attempted to establish a viable national government. South Vietnamese government officials and U.S. advisors paid close attention to student activism hoping to identify and cultivate sources of support for the Saigon regime. While some students were willing to work with Americans, others argued that foreign intervention of any kind was bad for Vietnam. The Saigon government’s repressive tactics for dealing with political protest drove away students who otherwise might have supported it.

Abstract:
State formation in Vietnam followed an imperial pattern, namely, a process of conquests and annexations typical of an empire. At its peak in the early nineteenth century, the frontier of the Vietnamese empire encompassed much of today’s Cambodia and Laos. This imperial pattern was the basis on which the French built their Indochinese colony and the Vietnamese communist state built its modern hegemony. By re-examining Vietnamese history as that of an empire and hegemon, this paper challenges the nationalist historiography’s assumption about Vietnam’s need for survival from China as the driving force of Vietnamese history. In contrast, I argue that the threat to Vietnamese survival has come less from China than from other states on China’s southern frontier. Vietnam has in fact benefited from a positive synergy with China in much of its premodern and modern history. By situating Vietnamese state formation in the context of mainland Southeast Asia, I hope to correct the tendency in many studies that focus exclusively on Sino-Vietnamese dyadic interactions and that posit the two as opposites. Treating Vietnam as an empire or hegemon over a large area of mainland Southeast Asia also is essential to understand why Vietnamese sometimes did not automatically accept Chinese superiority despite the obvious “asymmetry” between them.

Abstract As in many other countries, Vietnam’s integration into the international trade system has accelerated since its participation in the WTO and regional trade agreements. However, widening market access – the consequence of this integration process – risks exacerbating some of Vietnam’s existing environmental problems. In this context, the Vietnamese government is adopting measures in order to mitigate negative impacts of trade on the environment, but do these measures risk violating Vietnam’s international trade commitments? Can the environmental protection provisions of new generation free trade agreements like CPTPP be a reliable legal basis to justify Vietnamese trade restriction measures? The author will analyse these questions, while focusing on the case of debris importation control – an issue that has been attracting a lot of public attention in Vietnam and in South East Asia in recent years.

Abstract:
Furniture products with significant value added are increasingly being seen as a strategic objective for the industry of forest product. Furniture is one of the strategic commodities for the Indonesian economy. One of the pillars which determines the competitiveness of export furniture products is marketing. This study aims to determine the competitiveness of the Indonesian furniture industry in terms of marketing. In this case, Vietnam used as an object of comparison since they has been Indonesia's main competitor in the furniture trade for decades. The data was obtained by using literature study method. This research used mixed method 5P marketing analysis which consists of position, product, place, promotion, and price. The competitiveness of Indonesian furniture industry was still relatively low compared to Vietnam’s. In terms of position, Indonesia and Vietnam have market segments which are sensitive to illegal timber such as the United States and the European Union. Even though Indonesia already has a timber legality assurance system through the Timber Legality Verification System (SVLK), the export values of Indonesian furniture is still less than Vietnam. From a product perspective, Indonesian furniture industry is slightly greater than Vietnamese furniture industry. Indonesia has reached the level of augmented product, greater than Vietnam, which is mostly still a core product. However, Vietnam's furniture industry is experiencing a fairly rapid development. Currently, Vietnam's timber products are in demand with the international market due to their innovative designs. In terms of location (distribution), both countries are being assisted from easy access to global shipping. In terms of promotion, Indonesia needs to emulate Vietnam by facilitating the furniture industry (especially small and medium industries) to participate in international exhibition activities, so as to expand the furniture market network. In term of price, Vietnam is greater in offering lower prices since it was supported by the availability of abundant labor at low prices and investment support. Meanwhile, Indonesia has the advantage of the large availability of raw materials from production forests.

Abstract:
This study aimed to determine the factors influencing Vietnamese tea export quantities, namely, the internal factors of national tea production, productivity, and cultivated areas, and the external factors of export price and world tea export quantity (excluding Vietnam). We employed a time-series linear model to estimate the magnitude as well as the sign of the aforementioned factors on Vietnam’s tea export quantity and two Box-Cox transformations called a simple back-transformed forecast and a bias-adjustment to forecast the growth rate of the Vietnamese tea export quantity until 2030. The results suggested that except for the total domestic tea production, all the proposed factors significantly affected the Vietnamese tea export quantity. The tea export quantity of other nations around the world had a significantly negative impact on Vietnamese tea that led to Vietnam’s tea exports dropping by 34 tons on average since the other countries exported 1,000 tons of tea. The forecasted outcome suggested an upward trend of Vietnamese tea exports up to 2030. In order to sustainably develop Vietnam’s tea industry, we recommend that the government should take supportive actions such as investing in in-depth tea processing to improve Vietnam’s tea export quality, focusing on post-harvest activities, investing in organic or high-value tea rather than conventional tea, continuing to accumulate land to support the growth of cultivated tea areas, and maintaining high productivity by using hybrid seeds.

New-generation free trade agreements (FTAs) have promoted Vietnam's international integration process and brought many opportunities for Vietnamese exporters. Agricultural products are most affected when implementing new-generation FTAs. Impacts can include both positive and negative effects. The objective of this article is to analyze some of the impacts of the FTA between the EU and Vietnam on Vietnam's agricultural export enterprises after the agreement is signed. Research results show that the FTA has increased the import and export volume of agricultural products, and some of the strengths of Vietnamese agricultural products have also increased. Research results also show that when participating in FTAs, if businesses do not adapt in time, they will be left behind.
