Bureau, Denis. "Conception de circuits imprimés : vers un compilateur cuivre." Compiègne, 1989. http://www.theses.fr/1989COMPD227.
Full textWe put forth a new concept : a « copper compiler ». This concept is to printed circuit boards what silicon compilers are to integrated circuits. A large part of current PCB design software is now approaching the limits of its capabilities, essentially in terms of efficiency, and printed circuits are becoming as complex as integrated circuits of a few years ago. The development of such a software tool requires an efficient router and an intelligent system to manage all the necessary modules. That’s why this thesis presents, firstly, an original gridless and internally hierarchical router along with a prototype which validates a theoretical model of a printed circuit ; and secondly, a novel software structure which permits the construction of modular expert systems which simultaneously use several types of knowledge representations. Each of these two parts is accompanied by a description of the current state of the art in the field, a comprehensive bibliography and a glossary

Full textThis dissertation offers to uncover how, between 1527 and 1555, the establishment of the French verse epistle as a poetic genre paradoxically happened through a diminishing of its status, from the prestigious Ovidian héroïde to the “low” familiar type criticized by Du Bellay in his Deffence et Illustration de la langue Françoise (1549). It argues that the marotique-type printed collections, which are built around the assertion of a strong auctorial figure, played a great part in this transformation, as they proved to be a designated supporting medium for the “personalization” of the epistle. The first part of this thesis analyzes from a diachronic perspective the interplay between the poetic establishment of the genre and its anthologization: this led to the singling out of a first period in which poets explored the genre through the debuting medium of the recueil d’auteur (1527-1532), a second period that consecrated the printed familiar epistle (1532-1549) and a third period during which epistles’ authors redefined the genre in order to challenge Du Bellay (1549-1555). The next part investigates the way printed epistolary collections reflect a specific image of the genre, which asserts itself by highlighting its own modest status, whether this means hiding its Horatian background, emphasizing the humble social status of the poet or elaborating a decorum that revolves around marginality. Finally, a third part analyzes the dispositio of several emblematic epistolary collections, arguing that the order through which the epistles were displayed was orientating the readers’ reception of the genre as well as expressing the singularity of the epistolary poetics elaborated by our authors

Full textThe ability to realize flexible circuits integrating sensing, signal processing, and communicating capabilities is of central importance for the development of numerous nomadic applications requiring foldable, stretchable and large area electronics. A large number of these applications currently rely on organic electronics, or integrate high mobility active films on plastic foils to provide higher performance. A key challenge is however to combine high electrical performance (i.e. millimeter wave, low noise electronics), with the mechanical flexibility required to conform to curvilinear surfaces, in addition to high stability of these electrical performance upon deformation. In this work, a solution has been developed, based on thinning and transfer onto plastic foil of high frequency (HF) CMOS devices initially processed on conventional silicon-on-insulator (SOI) wafers. This transfer process first enables the fabrication of high performance electronics on plastic, with n-MOSFETs featuring characteristic frequencies fT/fmax as high as 150/160GHz in addition to low noise potentialities: NFmin/Ga of 0.57/17.8dB. Secondly, by locating the neutral plane of the flexible system in its active layer, the relative variation of these high frequency figures-of-merit can be limited to 5% even after aggressive bending, demonstrating flexibility, high performance and stability

Full textThe brassware manufacturing of Fez city produces effluents that are very contaminated by metals such as nickel, silver, lead, copper and zinc. These effluents are directly discharged into the environment with a negative impact on the ecosystems and nearby wastewater treatment plant. Therefore, there is an urgent need for decontaminating these effluents before their treatment. In this context, the objectives of this work were the valorisation of natural mineral substances, bentonite and diatomite, widespread minerals in Moroccan soil although little exploited, for their use as adsorbent phases for nickel and silver extraction. A considerable part of this work has been directed toward modifying the physicochemical properties of these natural materials to maximize their adsorption capacity. In a first step, the modification of the diatomite was carried out by heating treatment at different temperatures (550 to 950 °C). The diatomite calcined at 550 °C showed the best adsorbing capacity towards nickel and silver. The second step was dedicated to the modification of the bentonite by heating treatment (550 °C and 750 °C) and chemical activation by sodium carbonate and by a combined chemical and thermal activation at 450 °C. Bentonites modified by chemical activation with sodium carbonate and by combined chemical and thermal activations at 450 ° C showed the best results. In addition, Ion Imprinted Polymers (IIPs) have been considered as alternative materials to replace these natural materials to improve the selectivity. The last part of this study consisted in comparing the performance of these materials, in order to select the best material for a future application in the remediation of contaminated effluents before their depollution by the treatment plant of Fez city. The nickel and silver concentrations become negligible in the natural samples after adsorption by the studied materials, which perfectly meets the Environmental Quality Standards. These results successfully validated the use of natural and synthetic materials for the extraction of nickel and silver from contaminated effluents

Full textThis thesis focuses on the links between interaction networks, space and time. There is a paradigm shift in community ecology concerning the representation of a species community : from a collection of species towards species and their interactions, represented by an interaction network. We aim to build the bricks for a spatial network theory, by developing new methods, new models and applying it on ecological data. This manuscript contains four chapters. In a first chapter, we extend the diversity indices, built on Hill numbers, to network diversity indices. We define diversity indices across species aggregation levelsand show the interest of this method on a trophic network data set. In a second chapter, we develop a spatially explicit meta-community theory, with various kind of interactions. The theory contains a stochastic and a deterministic meta-community model. We then define the notion of meta-community persistence capacity. In a third chapter, we focus on network reconstruction from environmental DNA data along an environmental gradient. We show that the proposed method allows to evaluate the influence of environmental variables on community and infer a network in agreement with the literature on soil interactions. Finally, in a fourth chapter, we develop a method to combine environmental DNA data coming from different primers and show the efficiency of the method to better estimate plant abundances
