Abstract:
CV. BJS is a company engaged in the rental of work tools, especially heavy equipment, and serves in the areas of Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Bali. The Work Tools will be sent using company vehicles. The problem that arises from the delivery process is the unknown presence of delivery vehicles from both the company and the customer side, so customers often complain because there is no certainty about the arrival of the heavy equipment being rented. In this study, 2 applications have been made that can answer company problems. The first application, also known as administrative application, is made for administrative processes that are web-based and will be accessed by internal companies and customers. The second application, an Android-based application used by heavy equipment deliverers, will inform the whereabouts of the vehicle through CouchDB technology which is also used to provide real-time tracking and monitoring of the system.

Abstract:
This research was conducted at PT Tri Sapta Jaya, a medical equipment distributor company. The product distribution to consumers was inefficient due to using traditional methods. The division of regions and determination of delivery routes was based on districts and cities. The existing delivery method faced various challenges, including delivery delays and inefficient routes. This inefficiency results in potential financial losses for the company in terms of delivery costs. To assist the company in improving delivery efficiency, this research focuses on determining vehicle routes considering vehicle capacity (Capacity Vehicle Routing Problem). In solving and searching for solutions, the research uses Simulated-Annealing algorithm. The algorithm generated an initial solution randomly and improved the solution by changing the positions of consumers within a route and switching positions of consumers between routes to obtain the best solution. The computation time of the developed Simulated Annealing algorithm was quite efficient, taking only 2 seconds for 25 consumers. Based on the data from PT Tri Sapta Jaya, the best solution obtained was 615,319. This result was achieved using the Simulated Annealing algorithm with the parameters T0 = 100,000, Ta = 1, and α = 0.9.

Abstract:
This article highlights that companies find that “product lifecycle management” can mean steering through the regulatory tangle of their business. The automotive industry is particularly affected by changing legislation, because many automakers are now working to ensure that their vehicles comply with the End-of-Life Vehicle Directive passed by the European Union in 2000. The End-of-Life Vehicle Directive is only one of the rules and regulations in Europe. The EU’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive set environmental targets for the amount of hazardous materials that can be contained in electrical and electronic equipment. Sometimes an engineer can’t simply call up a CAD file for a part, because the company gets that part from a supplier and incorporates it into the final product. In these cases, it's vital to ensure that those parts meet vital standards. Ensuring that engineering products meet the plethora of existing codes and laws is a perplexing and complex task that is only going to get harder.

The evaluation was carried out to determine the skills of emergency response handling by public freight drivers to vehicle damage so that it can be used to improve the ability of public freight drivers to anticipate emergency response. Location of survey survey is in Jakarta and surrounding areas. The sampling technique used in this study is non probability sampling and Purposive Sampling. The study results showed that more than 50% of public freight drivers do all tasks of delivering goods such as driving, cleaning vehicles, maintaining vehicles, supervising the process of loading/unloading and maintaining cargo. The most common types of vehicle damage experienced by public freight drivers are broken tires, transmission system disturbances and brake system disturbances. Public freight drivers tend to repair damage from broken tires, transmission system disturbances, brake system disturbances themselves, whereas to repair damaged axles and engine damage, drivers tend to contact the nearest repair shop and/or contact the company. The evaluation results show the need to improve the driver's ability in emergency response related to vehicle conditions such as inspection of vehicle equipment, vehicle loading procedures, tire burst, transmission system disturbances, brake system disturbances.

Abstract:
The service business in Indonesia is growing every year and competition is getting tougher. One of the service businesses that is always growing is motor vehicle repair service. So that the vehicle service company must make service improvements to be able to compete. For this reason, the company needs to know the service performance so that the company must know the advantages and disadvantages of the services provided to customers. The purpose of this study is to measure the performance of vehicle service quality and determine service improvement priorities in increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty. The method used in this research is service quality and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results of the study were to obtain 21 service attributes obtained from interviews. Then from the results of processing with the service quality method, it turns out that there is a gap in service quality based on perceptions and expectations because it is negative. So all the existing service attributes need to be improved. Meanwhile, the results of determining priorities that need to be improved on the 21 service attributes using the AHP method show that the mechanical speed attribute in car service is the first priority because it has the largest weight, namely 0.107. Then the service attribute that gets the last priority to be repaired is the equipment and equipment attribute with the smallest weight of 0.02 because the current dealer already has a fairly complete vehicle service tool.

Abstract:
The Radiodetermination Satellite Service (RDSS) provides radiolocation and limited communication for users of aeronautical, marine and terrestrial vehicles. A system of the RDSS is being developed in the United States by the Geostar Corporation (Rothblatt, 1988). In this system signals from a control center are transmitted to transceivers on users’ vehicles through one of a series of two or three satellites spaced along the geostationary orbit, and responses are received through each of these satellites. If three satellites are used, locations of vehicles can be determined from the measured times of transmission from the control center to the user and back via different satellite paths. If two satellites are used the timing data must be supplemented by information such as altitude data from a terrain map, or an altimeter reading from the user’s vehicle, which can be encoded in the response transmitted back. Computation of the vehicle location is performed at the control center. The equipment at the vehicle can be relatively simple since its basic function is that of a transponder, and intervention by the vehicle operator is not necessarily required. However, provision can also be made for the inclusion of short coded messages from the vehicle, so the unit on the vehicle is usually referred to as a transceiver. The system is designed to meet the needs of various users; for example, trucking companies which must periodically monitor the locations of vehicles in a widely distributed fleet. Position information can be relayed to the company headquarters as well as to the vehicle operator. The role played by the central control computer in determining the locations requires that all vehicles using the service identify themselves by a transmitted code. Thus developers and operators of RDSS systems can lease their services to vehicle users.

Abstract:
As a nation endowed with a diverse cultural heritage and vast reserves of natural resources, Indonesia requires the acquisition and utilization of state-of-the-art defense equipment and technology. The Panzer Anoa is a military armored vehicle manufactured by a company specializing in the production of armament systems and commercial products. This vehicle serves the purpose of personnel transportation, commonly referred to as armored personnel carriers (APCs). Over the past three years, there has been a noticeable decrease in the sales of the Panzer Anoa, a product manufactured by a company producing Main Equipment Armament Systems and commercial goods. According to the data provided by the company operating in the Main Armament System Equipment industry and commercial products, 25 units were sold within three years. This figure falls significantly short of the predetermined target of 72 units, resulting in a sales percentage of merely 34.72%. The study employed a quantitative research methodology characterized by a descriptive and verification approach. The sample consisted of 54 respondents selected using a stratified random sampling technique. In gathering supporting data and information, primary data is utilized, specifically in the form of questionnaire data directly obtained from a company operating in Armament Systems Primary Equipment and commercial products. The study's findings demonstrated that each statement item exhibited validity, as indicated by values exceeding 0.30 and reliability, with results surpassing 0.60. The study findings indicate that the product quality factor exhibited a high significance level, with a coefficient of 0.981. Similarly, the promotion factor strongly influenced the purchase decision, as evidenced by its coefficient of 0.977. Furthermore, the purchase decision itself was found to be significantly influenced by various factors, with a coefficient of the t-test yielded T count values of 3.981 (p < 0.001) and 2.826 (p < 0.001), both of which exceed the critical T table value of 2.007. attributable to other factors. Another factor that has yet to be examined is the value of 0.263, or 26.3%. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that the influence of product quality is more pronounced, with a total effect of 0.4361 or 43.61%, compared to the total effect of promotion, which stands at 0.3002 or 30.02%. It is advisable for companies operating in the Armament System Primary Equipment and commercial products sector to place a high emphasis on product quality. These results can be achieved by consistently enhancing the features of the Anoa Panzer and streamlining its operational processes.

Abstract:
<p>Over the past decade, the alternative fuel vehicle industry in the world has sprung up with huge speed. For example, the annual output has increased from less than 2000 vehicles to now 3,500,000 vehicles in China. It enjoys more than 50% of the market share worldwide in the global market. A spurt of progress in the alternative fuel vehicle industry has built a foundation for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. Financial leasing has unique advantages which not only can provide guarantees for this industry in many aspects concerning related equipment, systems and infrastructures but also offer financial support for green projects. Nevertheless, financial leasing firms are encountering a string of problems to solve, such as selecting optimal green projects and cooperative businesses, designing transaction structures, and controlling project risks. This study contains several main sections: connecting the incremental alternative fuel vehicle investment and purchase project of a leading regional enterprise; building the structure of the financial leasing project; and analyzing the project leasing property using a fuzzy logic model, the financial structure and the repayment capacity of the project main company so as to comprehensively evaluate the feasibility of the project. This paper aims to provide a reference for future financing of alternative fuel vehicle operation enterprises with a real case study. The case study results show that our introduced fuzzy logic method can obtain the satisfying performance and traffic allocation.</p>

Car monitoring is a used way of saving company funds intended for the operation of the company's vehicle fleet, as it is possible to monitor the speed and driving position of a company car through it. There are several companies on the market providing vehicle monitoring for a flat fee. In this case, the device is still the property of a third party. As part of the scientific research activities of the Department of Safety Management, the Faculty of Safety Engineering and within the grant call of the University of Žilina, we decided to create a proposal for our own monitoring equipment. We used the Arduino platform and its components for the design itself. We implemented the design on a theoretical as well as a practical level. The theoretical level consisted in creating a graphic design of the connection and the practical level was realized by the actual connection of the system.

Abstract:
Urban freight transportation is the activity that has the greatest impact on urban areas in terms of sustainability and livability, and it is, therefore, necessary to reduce its impact. Currently, there is a lack of methodologies to validate the methods proposed by companies to reduce their impacts. The proposed methodology presents the implementation of a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) based on the triple bottom line approach: economic, social and environmental, since a company with good results on the “triple bottom line” will experience an increase in its economic profitability and its environmental commitment while reducing the impacts that generate negative perceptions of it. This KPI is the OEEM (Overall Equipment Effectiveness for Mobility), a redesign of the well-known OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), but adapted to the needs of urban freight transportation since this indicator provides a quick overview of the efficiency or performance of the activity according to five components: quality of deliveries, vehicle utilization, availability of the vehicle–driver tandem and efficiency (result of traffic and efficiency of delivery stops). The methodology developed will be implemented in a case study where the KPI will be calculated on the basis of real-time data and visualized on a control panel; thanks to this KPI, the company will be able to validate whether the measures taken have a positive or negative impact.

Abstract:
Several performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of manufacturing equipment have been studied, and one of the most used is overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). However, its application and development in the road transportation sector remains little studied. The purpose of this paper is to establish a new metric derived from OEE to measure the overall effectiveness of coal mining transportation and apply this metric to actual operation. This study employed in-depth interviews and Delphi techniques to explore the specific metrics. Three rounds of Delphi involving mining experts, academia, and consultants identified six potential metrics to measure coal mining transportation operations that contributed to a new metric to measure mining transportation overall vehicle effectiveness. This paper also discusses a case study of how this newly developed metric was tested and applied to the actual operation of the truck fleet at a coal-hauling company in Indonesia. According to the case study, this metric accommodated the important factors in coal mining transportation operations and reflected operational performance. This study contributes to measuring the effectiveness of coal-hauling transportation by providing an effective metric that will help the managerial team make better decisions for process improvement.

Abstract:
The article reveals the methodology of the audit at motor transport enterprises of Ukraine. One of the most important parts of the development of Ukraine’s productive forces is the transport industry, which provides production and circulation processes, transporting manufactured products to the month of its sale and consumption, as well as providing passenger transportation services. Today, almost every company, regardless of its economic activity, owns its own vehicles. But for trucking companies, cars are the main means of providing services. That is why the issue of effective use of motorsports, which is impossible without a quality audit, is quite relevant. Methods of auditing fixed assets at motor transport enterprises of Ukraine, as well as at other types of enterprises, defined by International Standards on Auditing. In accordance with ISA 200 «Purpose and Basic Principles of Auditing Financial Statements», the purpose of an audit of property, plant and equipment is for the auditor to express an independent professional opinion on the correctness of the entity’s financial statements. The article considers the main tasks of the audit of fixed assets in motor transport enterprises, as well as the main procedures used in the audit of fixed assets. The paper proves the importance and necessity of auditing the accounting of fixed assets at motor transport enterprises, because the effectiveness of their use affects the cost of motor transport services and as a consequence on the financial results of transport enterprises of Ukraine. The article also presents a test of internal control of fixed assets at the trucking company, which should be carried out at the preparatory stage of the audit of fixed assets and provide the auditor with the necessary information to develop an optimal audit program, taking into account the activities of the trucking company. In addition, the article provides samples of working documents of the auditor during the inspection of fixed assets at the trucking company.

Abstract:
ObjectiveTo determine the association between several whole-body vibration (WBV) exposure estimates and back pain-related work absence.MethodsExposures (based on the weighted daily root mean square acceleration, A(8); the daily vibration dose value, VDV(8); and the daily equivalent static compression dose, Sed(8)) of 2302 workers during 4 years were estimated using each worker’s monthly vehicle operation records and WBV measurements from 11 different types of heavy equipment vehicles in a large coal mine. Company payroll data provided work absence during the concurrent 4 years of exposure. Cox regression models estimated the associations between the different WBV metrics and time to first work absence related to back pain. An adjusted R2 statistic provided a measure of model fit.ResultsAll estimated metrics of WBV exposures were positively and significantly associated with back pain-related absence. HRs varied from 2.03 to 12.39 for every 0.21 m/s2 increase in the A(8)-based exposures; from 1.03 to 1.18 for every 1.72 m/s1.75 increase in VDV(8)-based exposures; and from 1.04 to 1.07 for every 0.06 MPa increase in Sed(8)-based exposures. Models using the estimated VDV(8) metric for the z axis fit the data best as measured by the R2 statistic.ConclusionHigher WBV exposures were associated with back pain-related absences in this population, which appears after a few years of follow-up. Introducing controls to lower exposure levels may help reduce back pain-related work absences.

Every asset in the operation of certain services, transportation or services will experience a change in each period of time. Replacement is made on an asset that is damaged, operating costs are too high, or a change in technology makes an equipment unusable. CV. X is a company engaged in providing services for transportation fleets, one of which is dump trucks. Today, companies are often faced with complex replacement problems and only apply the depreciation method to determine the life of their equipment. This study aims to propose determining the age of dump trucks with optimal replacement intervals and to find out the hourly usage costs incurred by the company at the optimal replacement age. This method uses the hourly cost as the basis for determining the optimal replacement life. The research data is in the form of secondary company data consisting of maintenance data such as vehicle purchase price data, fuel consumption, lubricant consumption, labor wages, annual operating hours, productivity, rental rate, interest rate value, and income tax rate. The parameters are in 1000 hour intervals. The optimal replacement life for dump trucks is in the interval of 30,000 hours – 40,000 hours or 12-16 years. The hourly usage cost at the optimal replacement life interval with the productivity approach is $159.74 and the hourly usage cost with the rental rate approach is $104.64.

Abstract:
Timber transportation is a hard task for any forest company. There are several efforts to reduce and control these costs, considering efficient equipment and optimization frameworks. Due to the pattern of combinatorial problems, the deterministic methods have a high computational effort of processing time, which generally makes their use unfeasible. An alternative procedure is applying approximation algorithms, which have efficient searches for finding feasible solutions. The present study evaluated algorithms for solving the forest transport sequencing problem. The Simulated instances were designed to highlight three instances for 10, 20, and 30 stands with a realistic pattern. According to the operational set, four solving strategies were proposed, considering three algorithms (Simulated Annealing, Greedy, and Greedy-Simulated Annealing). The computational code, processing, and analysis of the data were performed using RStudio software. The results show feasible solutions from all tested algorithms, highlighting the hybrid Greedy-Simulated Annealing algorithm. With proven normality and homogeneity of variance, the algorithms were tested with the Tukey test at a level of 5%. The blocks, stand random selection, and multiple flow strategies produced the best results of the tested instances. As a conclusion, the proposed algorithms are efficient for solving the forest transportation problem and may be helpful at the operational planning level.

Abstract:
Several mobility vehicle rental companies have emerged owing to the increased preference for shared mobility as a short-distance transit option. These shared-mobility vehicles must be strategically placed at different locations to enable easy access to customers. However, without prior knowledge of the occurrence of rental demand, it becomes challenging for companies to respond quickly. In this study, we analyzed the factors affecting rental demand for shared electric mobility vehicles by utilizing actual data from the company EV PASS and predicted rental demand to ensure that the vehicles were distributed effectively, allowing customers to receive timely service. We compared the performance of machine learning models such as the Extra Trees regressor, CatBoost regressor, and LightGBM (Light Gradient Boosting Machine) models in predicting the demand for shared mobility vehicles. Additionally, we explored the use of an ensemble technique called voting regressor to reduce errors with an R2 score of 0.7629, it outperformed all the individual models. The analysis revealed that factors including humidity, precipitation, and solar radiation have a significant influence on rental demand. Based on the findings of this study, companies can effectively manage equipment and personnel, providing better shared electric mobility rental services, leading to increased customer satisfaction.

Abstract:
A good logistics system is one factor that affects the smooth running of company activities. Currently, transportation costs account for about two-thirds of total logistics costs, so to increase efficiency, companies try to maximize the use of transportation equipment and personnel by determining the optimal distribution route. Route optimization can be done using the Vehicle Routing Problem and the Clarke- Wright Method. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in maintaining ATM machines (Automated Teller Machines). The form of this activity can be in the form of installing air conditioners, TVs and repairing ATM machines. This company faces problems in the logistics section, where the installation target is often not achieved from the specified target. This is because the distance from one point to another is coupled with the congestion level in big cities, so this causes the company to pay large operational costs. Therefore, a distribution route is needed to save time and distribution costs. This study uses the Clarke and Wright Savings Algorithm to solve the problems faced by companies. The results showed that after using the Clarke and Wright Savings Algorithm, the total distance and shipping costs were reduced by saving 97.9 Km of distance and saving costs.

Abstract:
Recently, many activities have been undertaken to reduce the negative impact of transport on the environment, e.g., using propulsion sources and consumed energy. Electric and hybrid vehicles are becoming more and more popular. Methods of measuring the emissivity of the means of transport as well as devices for determining measurements are being developed. This work presents an indicator method (IM) for determining the emissivity of road transport, while omitting the use of quite complicated and expensive research equipment. For typical road vehicles, it is possible to determine the emissivity means of transport, taking into account statistical data. The values of the indicators selected, based on statistical data analysis, were verified by comparing their values with the results of the actual emissivity of air pollutants. As part of the research work, the emissivity values of selected means of transport in a distribution company were determined using the IM method. The results were compared with the actual emissivity measurements. The method of indicative determination of emissivity makes it possible to estimate the initial emissivity level, knowing the type of vehicle and the distance performed as part of the transport work. Thanks to a simple and uncomplicated method, delivery planning can become more sustainable, and the selection of less emissive means of transport can contribute to reducing the negative impact of transportation on the environment.

Abstract:
In 2018, in the Dialogue, Debate, and Discussion section of MOR 14.3, an interesting series of articles was published in the ‘Forum on Tesla and the Global Automotive Industry’, where researchers discussed the future dynamics of the global automotive sector. In their work, Perkins and Murmann (2018) contended that, based on Tesla's success, a well-funded company could develop a new electric vehicle (EV) from scratch and move it into production within three to five years if it would invest one to two billion USD in design, development, and manufacturing. Expressing a contrasting view, MacDuffie (2018) questioned this possibility, arguing that EV product architecture is unlikely to become substantially more modular and any new entrant would therefore have to develop the ordinary capabilities that current automotive original equipment manufacturers possess, and there is no guarantee that a firm can develop such capabilities. Teece (2018) joined the debate by proposing a capability-based framework within which to analyze four paradigm shifts that have marked progress in the global automotive industry: EVs, autonomous vehicles, connected cars, and personal mobility services. He argues that these paradigm shifts have created opportunities for new entrants while posing challenges to incumbent firms. To navigate through the uncertainty associated with these paradigm shifts, incumbent firms need to enhance and refine their dynamic capabilities and leverage their integration skills. Jiang and Lu (2018) based their contribution to this debate on the development of the Chinese EV market. In MOR 15.1, published in 2019, Teece (2019) further elaborated his framework to facilitate analysis of the prospects for Chinese firms seeking a stronger foothold in the global automobile market. All these articles have been well received by MOR readers and were ranked among the top 20 articles in full-text view times between June 2021 and June 2022.

Abstract:
The results of a 3-year research work that investigated the impact of the introduction of mobile data communications (MDC) and electronic data interchange (EDI) on road freight operation is presented. Pilot applications were set up throughout Europe and evaluated for a number of months for both MDC and EDI. A total of 63 trucks belonging to five transport operators were equipped with MDC equipment, while five EDI liaisons were established to deal with transport order handling, contract status reporting, and ferryboat booking. A comprehensive evaluation of these pilot applications followed, and the results are presented and discussed. For MDC, tangible benefits were identified that can recover costs of the complete installation within 3 to 6 years. Specific benefits included an increase of about 2–3 percent in productive vehicle-kilometers, savings in fuel costs of 1–3 percent, and reductions in dispatch times of 5–6 percent. For EDI, certain preconditions for success were found to be necessary before tangible benefits occur: There must be a certain minimum of business done by EDI compared to the total business of the company—about 15–20 percent of all transactions—and there must be an overall acceptance and use of EDI in the business environment as a whole, in other words, a “critical mass” of wider EDI use. The integration of MDC and EDI within the same company will help maximize the benefits from both systems. In the pilot applications presented here, the EDI installation payback period was not positive, but several points regarding the conditions under which positive results could be obtained are made and actions are recommended.

Abstract:
This article discusses that an engineering firm is using software to ensure the structural integrity of all types of pole designs. West Coast Engineering (WCE) Group in Delta, British Columbia, Canada, performed several linear stress analyses using software to optimize the insulator bracket, which supports the transmission lines on the tangent poles. Physical testing was used to verify the accuracy of the analysis results. WCE began the structural analyses by analyzing the shafts of each pole type under ultimate loading, which was determined by Ian Hayward International using standard industry calculations. WCE performed linear static stress analyses on the models and evaluated the von Mises stress criteria for ductile materials to assess the stress results. With the pole shaft and base plate structures verified, engineers focused the next analysis on the insulator brackets of the tangent structure to optimize the load bearing capability and material thickness. With the predictable loading capacity requirements confirmed for the designs, WCE expanded the study to include a simulation of the impact loading that can result from a head-on vehicle collision. WCE is continuing the use of Algor software in the design of poles and in the development of new pole manufacturing equipment. Currently, the company is using it to simulate and optimize a roll forming process.

Abstract:
Two years-plus into a global pandemic, we all have experienced the fragility and uncertainty that dogs the global supply chain for lifestyle goods and services. Remember last year when you couldn’t find a multipack of toilet paper to save your life? Or maybe you’re currently in the market for a vehicle, so you visit your local dealership—and find that the lot that’s normally awash with shiny, new vehicles … has three. And though they carry a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of about $25,000, they are being offered for well in excess of $30,000. These supply-and-demand anomalies can be directly attributed to disruptions in the supply chain—whether it’s manufacturing woes such as parts shortages or logistical snarls with goods stacked up at ports for a lack of dockworkers or truck drivers. These same types of supply chain challenges that affect us on a personal level can also do a number on industries. For oil and gas, the situation is unique. The symbiotic relationship between oil companies and oilfield service (OFS) companies has run hot and cold for decades. Oil company supply chains are directly tied to those service companies that provide the tools and equipment required for oil and gas extraction and production. When things go sideways, service companies have historically retained much of the contractual risk. However, that doesn’t change the fact that when service companies are impacted by shortages, so are their clients. This past year, as oil prices rebounded from pandemic lows and global demand started to creep back up, OFS companies were faced with overcoming gaps in the supply chain at their expense—some of which continue today. “Supply chain and inflationary pressures also drove higher costs and delivery issues primarily across our OFS and DS [digital services] product companies,” Lorenzo Simonelli, chief executive at Baker Hughes, told investors in January. “Our teams have continued to work to offset some of these pressures, but we expect to continue to see some level of tension and disruption in these areas potentially through the first half of the year.” Those impacts place pressure on profit margins for OFS companies, and oil companies will fight to keep their costs from increasing, which could create a tenuous scenario for 2022. Many of the supply chain disruptions affecting Baker Hughes stem from logistics, some shortages more broadly, and disruptions in shipments. The company is offsetting the impact by employing new shipping routes and increasing lead times on specific items. “Right now, pretty much about 90% of our suppliers are giving us 1-year lead times, and we have all of our 2022 on order there. To give you some perspective, if I go back 7 months, that 90% was about 20 to 30%,” said Simonelli. “That’s really what’s going on in the industry. We are planning for it. We’re working through it and operating in this new normal.” Baker Hughes is far from the only oilfield service firm being affected by the “new normal.” Many are experiencing increasing delays in the delivery of tubulars, meters, and other basic oilfield equipment.

Abstract:
Based on the analysis of the main aspects of the development of the logistics component of the oil and gas industry, the application of economic practice in order to use it in the development of this industry and the economy as a whole is studied on the example of the "Oil and gas of Ukraine" company. It is worth noting that to date there is little research on this issue, and isolated studies do not fully reflect the impact of the logistics component of the oil and gas industry on economic prospects in Ukraine. The article analyzes the logistics component of the oil and gas industry on the example of the "Oil and gas of Ukraine" company. Using the methodology of the task "make or buy" the cost of buying oil and gas has been analyzed and calculated. The study proves that in the case of using oil and gas of own production costs are much lower and the country's dependence on external factors is reduced. The calculation of the cost of transportation of a conditional amount of oil (gas) depending on the chosen mode of transport is given. An attempt is made to demonstrate the impact of various factors in choosing the type of transportation on the final cost of goods. The most profitable type of transportation of oil and gas products is the pipeline. However, there are terms of operation of this type of vehicle, which are often forgotten in the case of its use, which may be accompanied by breakthroughs and large losses of goods. Modern devices with international certification should be mentioned as for the quality and quantity of oil and gas products in warehouses and storage facilities. For equipment that fails, it is necessary to modernize, use the foresight of industry technologies. The results of the study and conclusions reflect the development and impact of the logistics component of the oil and gas industry on economic prospects in Ukraine. The article proves that the analysis of the logistics component of the oil and gas industry on the example of the "Oil and gas of Ukraine" company can become the engine of the modern economy, as it creates a foundation for further development of this industry. Experts and scientists with different views evaluate the research prospects of the oil and gas industry.

Abstract:
In recent years, the management of health systems is a main concern of governments and decision-makers. Home health care is one of the newest methods of providing services to patients in developed societies that can respond to the individual lifestyle of the modern age and the increase of life expectancy. The home health care routing and scheduling problem is a generalized version of the vehicle routing problem, which is extended to a complex problem by adding special features and constraints of health care problems. In this problem, there are multiple stakeholders, such as nurses, for which an increase in their satisfaction level is very important. In this study, a mathematical model is developed to expand traditional home health care routing and scheduling models to downgrading cost aspects by adding the objective of minimizing the difference between the actual and potential skills of the nurses. Downgrading can lead to nurse dissatisfaction. In addition, skillful nurses have higher salaries, and high-level services increase equipment costs and need more expensive training and nursing certificates. Therefore, downgrading can enforce huge hidden costs to the managers of a company. To solve the bi-objective model, an ε-constraint-based approach is suggested, and the model applicability and its ability to solve the problem in various sizes are discussed. A sensitivity analysis on the Epsilon parameter is conducted to analyze the effect of this parameter on the problem. Finally, some managerial insights are presented to help the managers in this field, and some directions for future studies are mentioned as well.

Abstract:
IntroductionHeavy goods vehicle (HGV) drivers exhibit higher than nationally representative rates of obesity, and obesity-related comorbidities, in comparison to other occupational groups. Their working environments are not conducive to a healthy lifestyle, yet there has been limited attention to health promotion efforts. We have developed a Structured Health Intervention For Truckers (the SHIFT programme), a multicomponent, theory-driven, health-behaviour intervention targeting physical activity, diet and sitting in HGV drivers. This paper describes the protocol of a cluster randomised controlled trial designed to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the SHIFT programme. Methods and analysisHGV drivers will be recruited from a logistics company in the UK. Following baseline measurements, depots (clusters) will be randomised to either the SHIFT intervention or usual-care control arm (12 clusters in each, average cluster size 14 drivers). The 6-month SHIFT intervention includes a group-based interactive 6-hour education session, worksite champion support and equipment provision (including a Fitbit and resistance bands/balls to facilitate a ‘cab workout’). Objectively measured total daily physical activity (steps/day) will be the primary outcome. Secondary outcomes include: objectively measured light-intensity physical activity and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity, sitting time, sleep quality, markers of adiposity, blood pressure and capillary blood markers (glycated haemoglobin, low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol). Self-report questionnaires will examine fruit and vegetable intake, psychosocial and work outcomes and mental health. Quality of life and resources used (eg, general practitioner visits) will also be assessed. Measures will be collected at baseline, 6 and 12 months and analysed according to a modified intention-to-treat principle. A full process evaluation and cost-effectiveness analysis will be conducted.Ethics and disseminationEthical approval was obtained from the Loughborough University Ethics Approvals Sub-Committee (reference: R17-P063). Study findings will be disseminated through publications in research and professional journals, through conference presentations and to relevant regional and national stakeholders via online media and at dissemination events.Trial registration numberNCT10483894.

Abstract:
Delivery of food products is one of the critical points in the manufacturing of products, especially for perishable products. In addition, it is necessary to consider the delivery schedule and additional environmental load due to the need to maintain the storage temperature conditions. It has been proven that the main factors of sustainability related to local products are determined by the desire of consumers to support the local producer, the sale of higher-quality products of local production, and the efficiency of logistics management and sale of goods. Methods to analyze the sustainability of food product transportation are considered. It is emphasized that very few studies have been conducted on analyzing the logistics of the delivery of dairy raw materials and products in countries with a weak economy, especially for enterprises of local importance whose vehicle fleet is represented by outdated equipment. That is why the study of the sustainability of logistics delivery chains was conducted based on the data of two dairy enterprises. The work presents in mathematical terms an integrated model for calculating the sustainability of logistics chains, which consists of four groups of criteria: resources, climate, economic efficiency, and impact on society. The company was evaluated according to the specified criteria by a group of independent experts in dairy technology using the Delphi method to ensure the objectivity of the obtained data. The calculation of fuel costs and CO2 emissions into the atmosphere per kilogram of food products in the transportation logistics chain was carried out. This approach will ensure the objectivity of assessing the negative impact on the environment because of the use of petroleum products, the increase of greenhouse gases, and air pollution in general. The concepts of "local food" and "food miles" are tools of the protectionist policy of restoring local agriculture and alternative sources of food production. The results obtained in the work confirm the need to use individual criteria in LCA for an objective assessment of the sustainability of logistics transportation and its impact on the environment. Abstract:
The current study aimed to measure the quality of transportation service for pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors by taxi within the city of Makah Al-Mukarramah from the point of view of the beneficiary customers, and to achieve this goal and the sub-objectives emanating from it. The descriptive approach was used, where the questionnaire based on the standards of the Saudi Transport Authority for taxis of all three types: regular, family, and taxis for people with disabilities and the elderly was applied to a simple random sample of the study subjects, and the study data was analyzed using the statistical analysis program in the statistical package. (SPSS), and employing appropriate statistical methods, and the main problem in this study lies in what are the quality standards for taxi transport service within Makah Al-Mukarramah? Do these standards match reality and achieve the hope? And then the importance of the study is limited to seeking to identify the most important ways that must be available in taxis in particular and ways of transportation in general within the city of Makah Al-Mukarramah to facilitate trips and religious tourism for visitors to the House of God. The study revealed many results that contribute to the development of the transportation service for pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims in the city of Makah Al-Mukarramah during the Hajj and Umrah seasons in the future. Among the most important of these results, it was found that with regard to the availability of the technical specifications of the taxi, which were determined by the Technical Specifications Authority at the Ministry of Transport, there are only three technical specifications that were available to a large extent, and they include: taxi doors, taxi windows, and the quality of adaptation inside the taxi, The results also revealed that the majority of taxis inside the city of Mecca do not apply the technical standards set. The results also showed that the majority of technical equipment is not available in the taxi during the Hajj and Umrah seasons. The results also showed that the general level of customer satisfaction and that of the three areas of satisfaction is moderately available. The study recommended the absolute necessity for both the car company and the vehicle drivers to follow all means of technology and high technologies to provide visitors with the highest and most efficient transportation services. The study also recommended that companies should be charged with employing anyone who is sure that he has experience and high efficiency in managing the business assigned to them. In general, the study recommended applying everything related to the comfort of the passenger and his family members and adhering to the standards of quality and safety inside the vehicles.
