This thesis represents the Model-View-Controller pattern. It is focused especially at the description of the particular architecture layers principle and its functionality. It deals with the reasons of the three-layer architecture invention and it also deals with the advantages and the disadvantages provided by this pattern. The most frequent implementation of the MVC – the access to the data stored in the database through the web user interface is also described in this chapter. The next part of the thesis is concentrated on .NET Framework platform created from very voluminous, language-neutral library that is basically huge collection of the source codes providing the solution for common programmer’s problems and from the interface used for running up the applications created in .NET environment. The goal of the chapter concering with .NET Framework is to describe its architecture. The thesis also describes the platform invention, various versions of the .NET, the data access technology ADO.NET and the ASP.NET member ObjectDataSource. The chapter describing languages supported by the .NET Framework is focused on the C# language and its versions. The application “Multilayer applications in .NET environment” is the practical implementation of the mentioned technologies and it is described in the last chapter. The application’s architecture with the concentration on the particular Model-View-Controller layers implementation in the form of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 projects is also described in the thesis. Special attention is paid to each operation over the data stored in the database tables that the application enables the user to execute, as for example data inserting, updating, selecting or deleting. The common business object’s child generation process is also described deep into the details.

The work targets the very important part of service oriented architecture -- web services. It is focused at one of its practical implementation, from the Microsoft Corporation, especially in the last two releases of .NET Framework. The main target of this work is comprehensive summary and demonstration of Microsoft web services development. The principles of web services and their base in the .NET Framework are described here. At the beginning of this work the web services are put into the scope of service oriented architecture and their main principles are described. Subsequently the .NET Framework is explained with its main principles and with the comparison to the JAVA technology. This part is finished with the explanation of classic ASMX web services. The main part of this work focuses at detailed description of the theoretical and practical aspects of web services in the Windows Communication Foundation and the Windows Workflow Foundation context. Even the development of Windows Forms application is not left out, because they also have done a large progress and they are often consumers of web services. The options of securing web services in the .NET Framework are shown both theoretically and practically including authentication and authorization. The methods of transactional behavior are shown too. The work also focuses at the orchestration of web services including the explanation of workflows with the deployment example. At the end of the work there is revealed how to guarantee interoperability with other technologies, how to manage web services and how to ensure their versioning.

The results of this work are two major projects - NpgObjects and PagedDataGridView. NpgObjects is a simple ORM framework to enable the mapping database tables to objects in the common language runtime. It contains a specially designed generator which generates classes in C# from information obtained from the database. These classes are mapping on the database tables one to one. NpgObjects allows all the basic database operations - SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE. PagedDataGridView is a component for displaying tabular data. In cooperation with NpgObjects can paginate database data and manage the flow of data into application. It provides a comfortable user interface, which can easily navigate between different pages of data.

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na propojení databáze Oracle s vývojovými platformami Java, .Net a Lotus Notes/Domino. Po vysvětlení základních principů a technik práce s databází následuje část, která si klade za cíl jednotlivé možnosti propojení porovnat a otestovat. Na všech 3 platformách existují vyspělé propojovací technologie pro práci s databází, mezi nejznámější patří ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET a LC (Lotus Connectors). Jednotlivé možnosti propojení se na všech třech vývojových platformách značně liší. Společná zůstává jen základní funkcionalita pro práci s databází (sestavení připojení, řízení transakcí, volání SQL příkazů, přenášení základních datových typů a volání uložených procedur). Pro praktické ověření jednotlivých propojovacích produktů byla vyvinuta testovací/benchmark aplikace, která byla z jazyka Java naimplementována i do prostředí .NET (C#) a Lotus Notes/Domino (Lotus Script). Bylo naimplementováno a spuštěno 253 testů na 12 produktech od 8 výrobců. Podkladem pro zpracování diplomové práce a realizaci testů byla dokumentace k těmto systémům a další odborná literatura. Díky těmto testům bylo možné, v rámci možností, porovnání jednotlivých produktů i platforem. Systematické testování a práce s těmito produkty ukázaly, že jednotlivé produkty jsou velmi rozdílné v ceně, kvalitě, výkonu, ale i ve svých specifických funkcích.

The goal of this paper is to outline patterns in biographical background of founders of successful startup ventures, more particularly in the technology sector, that contributed to their success. Additionally, this article aims to disprove the assumption that entrepreneurs have a special tolerance for risk, and rather explores the idea that entrepreneurs have access to resources--financial, social, and intellectual--that come from their family and friends that then give them an edge and a safety net that de-mystifies them from the risk of starting a business. Once we realize that because the majority of the entrepreneurs studied in this thesis had unusually privileged backgrounds, we may then end with a suggestion as to how to level the playing field for those who may not have the same.

There are also the principles of data mining in the data streams. Special attention is given to the implemented algorithm CluStream. In the practical part the data stream processing solution was designed and implemented by the MSSQL technology using the above algorithm. The functionality of the algorithm was verified using own data stream generator.

Automatická segmentace biologických struktur v mikro-CT datech je stále výzvou, protože často objekt zájmu (v našem případě obličejová chrupavka) není charakterizovaný unikátním jasem či ostrými hranicemi. V posledních letech se konvoluční neuronové sítě (CNNs) staly mimořádně populárními v mnoha oblastech počítačového vidění. Konkrétně pro segmentaci biomedicínských obrazů je široce používaná architektura U-Net. Nicméně v případě mikro-CT dat vyvstává otázka, zda by nebylo výhodnější použít 3D CNN. Diplomová práce navrhla CNN architekturu založenou na síti V-Net včetně metodologie pro předzpracování a postprocessing dat. Základní architektura byla dále optimalizována pomocí pokročilých architektonických modifikací jako jsou pyramidální modul dilatovaných konvolucí (ASPP modul), škálovatelná exponenciálně-lineární jednotka (SELU aktivační funkce), víceúrovňová kontrola učení (multi-output supervision) či bloky s hustými propojeními (Dense blocks). Pro učení sítě byly použity moderní přístupy jako zahřívání kroku učení (learning rate warmup) či AdamW optimalizátor. I přes to, že 3D CNN v úloze segmentace obličejové chrupavky nepřekonala U-Net, optimalizace zvýšila medián Dice koeficientu z 69,74 % na 80,01 %. Používání těchto pokročilých architektonických modifikací v dalším výzkumu je proto vřele doporučováno, jelikož můžou být přidány do libovolné architektury typu U-Net a zároveň výrazně zlepšit výsledky.

A duração da combustão tem implicação direta na determinação do trabalho negativo no ciclo motor. A duração da combustão tem relação inversa com a velocidade de propagação da chama. Assim, quanto maior a velocidade de propagação da chama, menor a duração da combustão. Além disto, a duração da combustão está relacionada com a relação volumétrica de compressão, com a razão de mistura e com o tipo de combustível, entre outros fatores. Neste sentido, quanto maior a velocidade de queima da mistura ar-combustível, menor o trabalho negativo no ciclo. Neste contexto, foram ensaiadas 3 relações de compressão e 3 razões de mistura, para 6 combustíveis de composição conhecida: gasolina comum tipo C, álcool etílico hidratado combustível (AEHC) e AEHC adicionado à gasolina comum tipo C nas proporções de 20%, 40%, 60% e 80%. A variação da pressão no interior da câmara de combustão, para todos os combustíveis, e a posição da centelha de ignição foram determinadas com a utilização da base angular e com variação da relação volumétrica de compressão e da razão de mistura. O diagrama , para fins de cálculo de área, foi traçado por pós-processamento. Os resultados obtidos indicam que a duração da combustão aumenta com o aumento da razão de mistura e diminui com o aumento da relação volumétrica de compressão, para todos os combustíveis ensaiados. Verificou-se que a amplitude da pressão, no interior da câmara de combustão, se comporta inversamente à duração da combustão. Mostrou-se que o aumento da razão de mistura implica na redução do trabalho líquido entregue ao êmbolo ao longo de todo o ciclo do motor. Opostamente ocorre com o aumento da relação volumétrica de compressão, que implica no aumento do trabalho líquido por ciclo. Concluiu-se que o máximo valor para o trabalho líquido ao longo de todo o ciclo foi obtido para a maior relação volumétrica de compressão (8:1) e a menor razão de mistura (λ = 0,9). O combustível que representou este resultado foi o álcool etílico hidratado combustível adicionado à gasolina comum tipo C em 80% (AEHC80). O mínimo valor para o trabalho líquido, ao longo de todo o ciclo foi obtido, para a menor relação volumétrica de compressão (6:1) e a maior razão de mistura dos ensaios (λ = 1,1). O combustível que representou este resultado foi o álcool etílico hidratado combustível (AEHC).The duration of the combustion is directly implicative on determining the negative work of the motor cycle. The duration of the combustion has an inverse relation with the flame propagation speed. Thus, the higher propagation of the flame, the shorter duration of the combustion. Besides that, the duration of the combustion is related to the relation of compression, to the air/fuel relation and to the type of fuel, among other factors. In this way, the higher burning speed of the air/fuel mixture, the smallest negative work in the cycle. In such a context, there were tried three compression relations and three mixture ratios for six fuels of know compositions: ordinary gasoline C type, combustible hydrated ethyl alcohol and combustible hydrated ethyl alcohol added to ordinary gasoline C type in the proportions of 20%, 40%, 60% and 80%. The pressure variation inside the combustion chamber, for all fuels, and the position of the ignition spark were determined using the angular base and with variation of the compression relation and the mixture ratio. The diagram, for area calculation, was traced by post processing. The obtained results indicate that the combustion duration increases with the rising of the mixture ratio and decreases with the rising of the compression relation, for all the tried combustibles. It was found that the pressure amplitude inside the combustion chamber behaves inversely to the combustion duration behavior. It was shown that the rising of the mixture ratio implies on the reduction of the net work delivered by the piston all through the cycle of the motor. The opposite occurs with the rising of the compression relation, that implies on the increase of the net work by cycle. It was concluded that the maximum value for the net work all through the cycle was obtained for the higher compression relation (8:1) and the least mixture ratio of the tests (λ = 0,9). The combustible that achieved such a result was the combustible hydrated ethyl alcohol added to ordinary gasoline C type in 80%. The least value for the net work all through the cycle was obtained by the least compression relation (6:1) and the highest mixture ratio of the tests (λ = 1,1). The fuel that achieved that result was the combustible hydrated ethyl alcohol.

The following master's thesis paper equipped with a short description of CT scans and MR images and the main differences between them, explanation of the structure of convolutional neural networks and how they implemented into biomedical image analysis, besides it was taken a popular modification of U-Net and tested on two loss-functions. As far as segmentation quality plays a highly important role for doctors, in experiment part it was paid significant attention to training quality and prediction results of the model. The experiment has shown the effectiveness of the provided algorithm and performed 100 training cases with the following analysis through the similarity. The proposed outcome gives us certain ideas for future improving the quality of image segmentation via deep learning techniques.

The main subject, which talks about pros and cons in this exchange process, is determination of heat losses which are created on heat distribution net during different operating status. These heat losses are calculated and on their basis some conclusions are concluded. Moreover, new heat exchanger is designed for certain conditions and also mathematical model of distribution net is created, which is suitable for checking different operating status. As a result of the work is technic’s and economic’s analysis of this project.

There are described the main kinds of leasing and credit at the beginning of this thesis. Afterwards is compared accounting as per the Czech regulations and IFRS and the tax impact of each of these types of accounting. The difference in accounting as per the Czech regulations and IFRS is as well illustrated on a leasing contract. The conclusion is focused on a comparison of leasing and credit using a method of net benefit of leasing and method of discounted costs.

The goal of my Master's Thesis is to describe the cash flows and profitability of milk and dairy products. The thesis is trying to define the whole process starting with the milk production till the product is bought by the final customer. The calculation of the net working capital of the farmer's cooperation, dairy works and retail stores is also included in my thesis. In this respect, the thesis deals with the problem of return of payables and receivables and the duration of the cash cycle. The thesis also calculates the product margin and profitability of some of the diary products. It focuses on price setting, if it is done according to the specific costs or if it is set by the market. The results of my thesis are based on eleven agricultural companies, six dairy works and three retail markets. A research is also included trying to answer the question weather the dairy products are essential goods, or if demand for them can be influenced by price. This research is based on answers of 85 respondents. The conclusion of this thesis is a fact that margin is not fairy set and the profit is redistributed on the basis of the market strength rather than by the value added. It also confirms the theory, that the closer the company is to the customer, the higher profit it usually makes.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to chart the situation of international migration in states of the European Union and especially in the Czech republic. Although the international migration is very discussed theme, nobody till now has dealt with a total survey in the frame of the European community, which is also my contribution to given sphere of migration. The whole work is divided into five sections. The first two chapters are put near the theoretical aspects of migration and of the European union, which help better to make sense of given theme. The next section is focused on the analysis of the particular member states, which are consequently compared pursuant to chosen criteria and also is assessed the influence of these factors on migration by itself. In the last but one part the problems of migration in the Czech republic from different view-points is put near. The last chapter puts mind to the analysis of time series of net migration rate of the Czech republic whose result is construction of prognoses to the five years starting from year 2007.

Hlavním cílem práce je studium radiačního přenosu energie v termálním plazmatu pomocí aproximační metody sférických harmonických funkcí (PN-aproximace). Práce má teoretický charakter. Pozornost je věnována především P1-aproximaci. Spektrální závislost absorpčních koeficientů byla zpracována pomocí multigroup aproximace. Byl vytvořen výpočetní program pro výpočet radiačních charakteristik v izotermickém válcovém plazmatu a ve válcovém plazmatu s daným teplotním profilem, a vypočteny radiační charakteristiky pro plazma vzduchu a směsí SF6 a PTFE. Získané výsledky umožňují zahrnout radiační ztráty energie do celkové energetické bilance plazmatu elektrického oblouku. Jsou využívány v matematických modelech elektrického oblouku, které vytváří naši spolupracovníci z Ústavu fyziky plazmatu AV ČR v Praze a také ze zahraničních pracovišť (ABB Corporate Research ve Švýcarsku a Siemens AG Corporate Technology v Německu).

The public sector is for the private partner reliable contractual partner. In a situation where is a lack of orders, we can expect that implementation of PPP projects will increase. In the final part, the convolutional neural network is discussed as its algoritm was used for segmentation in the practical part, in which algoritm for segmentation was designed in Python programming language. This algoritm was tested and evaluated using databaze KiTS19.

This Master's Thesis deals with the evaluation of investment into residential redevelopment of a former Libeň's harbour in Prague. The Thesis' aim is to decide whether the planned project creates enough profit and to find what is the maximum price the developer should be willing to pay for the land. The theoretical part focuses on key words definition, specification of investment decisions and describes evaluation methods including the definition of input parameters. The practical part includes strategic analysis evaluating macroeconomic situation of Czech republic, Prague's real estate market and describing the forces, which determine the competitive environment of the project. The investment evaluation is based on the data ascertained in strategic analysis using the methods described in the theoretical part. The risk analysis is finally applied on the evaluation methods' results.

This master's thesis deals with the geographic information systems with an emphasis on so - called vector analysis . The aim of the thesis is to create a library that implements the internal representation of geographic data and performs analytical operation over them . The thesis describes the logical structure of the application and the hierarchy of abstract classes . In the form of pseudo -code is shown a set of individual computing operations . Work is strongly based on geographic system GRASS. This GIS is connectable through import and export vector data in shapefile format. Concept of storing layers is designed for ease of data manipulation and their portability . The main idea behind the application is to split the library into individual modules . These modules are independent , but also can benefit from each other's functions . In conclusion are demonstrated implemented vector analysis and representation of their calculation .

Cyclical component of aggregate net inventory investment in Czech republic between I.quarter 1996 and IV.quarter 2010 can be described by Production smoothing model, which says, that it is more advantageous for firms to absorb shocks of their product demand into inventories than to adjust their production permanently. This statement stands on a discovery, that cyclical component of net inventory investment is negativelly corralated with cyclical component of final sales and at the same time variability of cyclical component of final sales is higher than cyclical component of production (GDP). Although it is not possible to expect that every firm in the economy will behave according to this model, it seems, with respect to the analysis, that the cost of adjustment is one of the most important factors considered by firms within their optimalization problem.

Freedom of speech and the right to privacy are maybe the most important elements of a modern society, yet the rights are often violated. This fact was the main reason for writing this thesis covering P2P network models, anonymity, censorship resistance and their use in real P2P networks and publishing systems. We discuss their effectiveness and suitability for specific purposes, but also the security considerations of their use. The second part of this thesis presents the LSPP publishing protocol, which is an library implementation of an anonymous censorship resistant P2P network. Finally, we analyze the proposed protocol and compare it with existing solutions.

This master´s thesis deals with blood vessel segmentation in retinal image data. The theoretical part is focused on the basic description of anatomy and physiology of the eye and methods of observing the back of the eye. This thesis also describes the principles of classical and convolutional neural networks and segmentation techniques that are used to segment blood vessel in retinal images. In the practical part, a segmentation method using convolutional neural network U-net is implemented. This neural network is trained on the three datasets. Two datasets include images from experimental video ophthalmoscope. Because it impossible to compare the results of these two datasets with any other methods of retinal blood vessel segmentation, U-net is trained on other dataset that is HRF database. This dataset includes fundus images. The results of testing on this dataset serves for comparing results with other methods of retinal blood vessel segmentation.

My master thesis focused on "Dance art in New York City" should primarily serve as a preview of the dance world in New York City. It is a summary of famous and less known dancing schools, institutions, theaters, festivals and professional dance groups. The piece of work is divided into six chapters.
The First Chapter describes some dancing schools and studios, which are located in the great City of New York. Besides general description the thesis talks about how individual institutions work and what they have in offer for their students and clients.
The Second Chapter is focused on non-profit dancing institutions and centers, which are supporting entire dance community. Organizing lots of festivals and creating educational opportunities in order to support and protect the dance growth of the city itself.
The Third Chapter is more detailed about festivals. Festivals are organized during the entire year and in multiple variations. We are going to get a knowledge of what exactly is happening on each individual event and is particularly intended for.
The Fourth Chapter is all about theaters. On the one hand, each individual theater institution is focused on the presentation of its performances, but on the other hand, they also offer a wide range selection of educational possibilities and opportunities.

Based on the research environment of financial markets, analysis of available financial products and the help of supporting information resources, there are developed and simulated three different investment strategies – risk dynamic strategy, medium balanced strategy and a stable conservative strategy. The output of work is an investment questionnaire, which is used to select appropriate investment strategies, and three models of investment strategies, including evaluation. Investment evaluation itself is performed by fuzzy logic.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the investment of apartment house and decide whether to sell or rent its housing units. The investment will be assessed in two different locales, Luhačovice and Brno-Žabovřesky. The issue is solved by comparison of market value, determined by three basic approaches of market valuation, the market value based on income approach and investment costs. The market value of housing units is the result of a weighted avarage method cost, comparative and income approach. The market value based on income approach is determined from net operating income, capitalization rate and the trend growth / decrease. Investment costs are based on the detailed budget. The results are analyzed in selected methods of financial planning such as net present value, internal rate of return and payback period. Part of the calculation of the financial planning are cash flows that are adjusted by projected annual growth trend.

The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the concept of the conversational interface in general and analyzes available technologies for its development. The practical part deals with the design and implementation of a particular chatbot, whose goal is to be a virtual assistant in the process of selecting and purchasing goods. This is accomplished by connecting the chatbot to the product information management system using OData web services. One of the biggest problems was to determine the order of questions asked about product properties. For the implementation was used decision tree theory.

For feature identi cation was used dependency grammar, implicit features were mined with method CoAR and opinions were classi ed with supervised algorithm. Finally were given experiments with implemented library and examples of usage.

The aim of the work is to introduce various ways of economical evaluation of investments and present their practical application for industry branch of electrical devices. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical one. The introductory part presents framework of economical evaluation and describes basics of economical evaluation and terms such as NPV, discount rate, investment decision) The work focuses on the most favorite approach -- discounted cash flow method - of economical evaluation of investments in detail. However, practical experiences show that conventional approach does not take probability distributions of input variables into account. When the higher risk is implied to discount rate, promising project could be rejected. That is why DCF concept is complemented by Monte Carlo risk modeling application.

Cílem této práce je vyvinout metody simulací poškozování otisků prstů. V první části je kladen důraz na shrnutí stávajících znalostí v oblasti generování syntetických otisků prstů a jejich poškozování. Dále jsou uvedeny informace o otiscích prstů obecně, jejich rozpoznávání a vlivy, které otisky poškozují, včetně onemocnění kůže. Práce obsahuje návrh a implementaci aplikace SyFDaS pro generování a modulární poškozování otisků prstů. Další částí je popis metod pro poškozování vlivem průtahového režimu, zúženého snímače, poškozeného snímače, přítlaku a vlhkosti, zkreslení pokožky, bradavic, atopického ekzému a lupénky. Dále je analyzováno několik dalších typů poškození včetně falzifikátů otisků prstů. Celkově je uvedeno 43 základních poškození, která jsou vizuálně verifikována. Díky kombinování poškození je využito 1 171 typů poškození a vygenerováno 348 300 obrázků otisků prstů, které jsou vyhodnoceny čtyřmi různými metodami posuzování kvality.

V zavere prace budu vsetky metody navzajom porovnane.

The aim of the thesis is to prepare a feasibility study of a multifunctional house in Humpolec and to evaluate the profitability of the project in the first 30 years of its operation. The evaluation of the project includes an initial financial analysis and two other possible situations. The theoretical part defines the basic information about the division of construction contract, the process of preparation and implementation of the project, types of financing investment projects, economic indicators and analyzes. In the practical part are given basic information multifunctional object. This is the site of construction, the character of the proposed building, including its planned use, financing and the three types of scenarios already mentioned. This is the baseline scenario, the optimistic scenario and the pessimistic scenario. At the end of the thesis there will be evaluated all investigated situations.

This thesis analyzes determinants of housing construction in regions in the Czech Republic. The main research question is the impact of standard of living on housing construction. The living standard is expressed in terms of net disposable income per capita and housing construction represents the number of housing starts. Other determinants included to the model estimation are rate of unemployment, housing price and number of mortgage. Analysis works with the panel data from period 2005- 2015 and all variables are used in the logarithmic form with one year lag. The model is estimated by random effects model. The assumption about positive impact of living standard on housing construction is not confirmed, because of the statistical insignificance of variable net disposable income. In case of other variables expected effects are confirm. The increases in rate of unemployment and housing prices have the negative impact on housing construction. And opposite the number of mortgage has positive impact on housing construction.

The master’s thesis topic is the feasibility study of new biomass source construction in power heating plant Brno-North. The first part is focused on historical and current conditions and future development of heat distributions networks and sources of Brno. The power heating plant operation Brno-North is described in more detail including the current heat scheme of operation and plan for the future development. Next chapters are focused on projection of new biomass source. At first, it is defined heat output, operation range and parameters of the new source based on the data of real needs after the heating network modernization. Afterward, selected conceptual variants of the new source are discussed in more detail and for each of the variants are performed heat balance calculation and assembled heat scheme of operation. At the same time it is processed warehouse management calculation and economic analysis of the project. The final chapter evaluates the technical and economic parameters of variants and recommends the most suitable variant of the project.
