Abstract:
In 2004, The University of Nottingham was the first Sino-Foreign University to open a campus in mainland China. Today, the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China (unnc) campus holds approximately 6,600 students and 500 staff from 40 different countries. Science and Engineering subjects are relatively new on the campus, but are all based on the long standing pedigree at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. In 2012, a newmsc course in Engineering Surveying and Geodesy started atunnc, which was the same as the course in theuk. All the courses atunncare the same in learning outcomes as those on theukcampus, all the teaching is carried out in the medium of English and undergo the same stringent Quality Assurance. The University of Nottingham also has a campus in Malaysia, which makes the university truly global. Students attending any of these campuses have the opportunities of exchange at any of the other two, as well as many other international universities.unncaspires to grow to 8,000 students by 2020, consisting of 20% international students and 15-20% postgraduate students, approximately 40% of which will be within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. This paper details the model used by the University of Nottingham in establishing and operating themsc course and research activities in Engineering Surveying and Geodesy atunnc, and gives a case study of this parallel course.

Abstract:
The paper presents conclusions from research into the opportunities to employ games in university education and it constitutes a description of a number of projects carried out at the Institute of Pedagogy at the University of Wrocław. The project encompassed: (1) the use of location-based games in cultural education classes (Kulturalny Wrocław project), (2) a five-day game seminar on career management (the Gamification in career management in the educational practice of Lower Silesia project), (3) a location-based game diagnosing entrepreneurship competences (the Entrepreneurship in the educational practice of Lower Silesia project), and (4) the use of LARP games in developing soft skills (the Learning through games project). During the conducted research triangulation of methods was employed: participant observation as well as focus and individual interviews. The conclusion of the explorations is that the Introduction of games into university education is an effective and attractive educational means, which, at the same time, requires substantial amount of time and number of staff in the preparation of the classes.

Abstract:
The increasing intake of students in tertiary institutions has resulted in large classes sizes in the universities in Ghana with the attendant reduction in quality in teaching and learning. This study was carried out to assess the impact of integrating ICT to teaching and learning in Universities on students' performance. This study adopted formative experimental approach using Moodle, an online learning platform to supplement the traditional face-face lecturing. This was carried out using seventy-five first year students on a communication skills course over two semesters. The Students' score in four learning outcomes were collected before and after the experiment. The data were quantitatively analyzed and compared to identify the impact of the ICT-mediated learning environment on students' performance. The results showed marked improvement in the students' performance in all aspects of communication skills. The lecturers of the course also confirmed improvements in students' performance, engagement and participation in the course compared to previous years.

Abstract:
The Malaysian education sector is one of the cornerstones in producing high-quality graduates that fulfill the needs of today’s industries. Hence, having civil servants can achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) is crucial to ensure Malaysia is at its forefront especially in the higher education sector. Nevertheless, theunclear settings of KPIs could deter the University’s staff understanding of their role in realizing the goals. Therefore, this study sets to measure the level of the University’s current performance. Additionally, this study will propose University’s key performance raking based on Balanced Scorecard approach. Theinstrument used is a questionnaire that distributed to the target sample who hold positions as head of department in the main campus at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). These groups of target respondents are believed those who should demonstrate a good understanding of Universities’ KPIs. The resultshows that the University is in high performance and the learning and growth perspective of balanced scorecard need to improvise. Thus, this study will lead to a better management system and produces a high University performance.

Abstract:
This study examined the university student-institutional relationship within a consumer behavior framework, which portrays the student as a consumer of the educational services offered by a university. The research examined some of the characteristics of full-time university students registered in the College of Education, University of Saskatchewan, and selected aspects of the decision process employed by these students when they made the decision to attend university for the academic year under study. Students did search for information, with the amount of search declining from first through fourth year. University students were the most used source of information. The most used evaluative criteria were the college program and previous investment in the program. No students felt that someone else had made the decision for them and approximately 68% were satisfied, at the end of the academic year, with their decision to attend.
