Abstract:
The article attempts to measure ideological preference and religious attitude of the students of Alauddin State Islamic University (UIN) Makassar. The typology of religious understanding is categorized into radical, moderate, and liberal. These three typologies help us to observe preference indicators based on students’ responses to four categorical variables, namely Islam and religious pluralism, formalization of Islam (relation of religion and state), Islam and intellectual discourse, and perception of jihad and religious violence. Employing quantitative approach, the author tries to measure the level of religious preferences of UIN Alauddin’s students within positivistic paradigm by organizing the data into a pattern, category, and basic unit description. The study finds that the level of preference of four variables and 16 questions asked to the students of UIN Alauddin shows us index result 2.76 or moderate category. However, it is also found that there has been potential preference, within the same time, into radical attitude. The reason is that in some variables I find shocking index numbers, which are close to radical verge as it can be seen in the variables of Islam and pluralism and the formalization of Islam which reach the index 2.49 and 2.40 respectively. Students, educators, and education staff who do not understand the totality of the essence and urgency of religious moderation in the scope of UIN Alauddin Makassar are essential issues. The rooted religious moderation is one of the Chancellors' thoughts that has been actualized by the Moderation House's declaration. This study aims to initiate a strategy for UIN Alauddin Makassar College in strengthening religious moderation in the academic community. This research is qualitative research located at UIN Alauddin Makassar using a socio-cultural approach. The idea generated from this research is a Road Map of Moderation, which is integrated into the Tridarma of Higher Education, such as a curriculum that contains religious moderation, moderation-based research assistance, and others.

Abstract:

Abstract:
This research aims to identify psychological characteristics, entrepreneurial attitudes and entrepreneurial intentions on students of five universities in Yogyakarta and explain how pychological characteristics affect entrepreneurial intentions which is mediated by entrepreneurial attitudes. Population in this research is all students of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga, Universitas Sanata Dharma, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta and, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. Sampling method which is applied in this research is incidental sampling. 100 respondents participate in this research as the research subjects. However, only 98 out of 100 data can be analyzed further. The analysis technique employed in this research is path analysis operating SPSS 22.0 for windows. The result of this research indicates the effect of psychological characteristics on entrepreneurial intentions which is mediated by entrepreneurial attitudes.

Background of the study: Since established in 1999, the Department of Library Science of Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Alauddin Makassar has been teaching its degree students throughout conventional way of teaching, in which whiteboards and classrooms are still mostly used as learning media till current days. The department challenges with the growing education technology, media such as e-learning.Purpose: This paper is aimed to describe the strategic planning to build and implement an e-learning in the department and to configure e-learning software called Claroline.Method: The data were gathered by discussing with all lecturers and several students as the basic sources to plan and build e-learning.Findings: As the research findings, Panrita 4.0 was determined as its e-learning’s name in order to make the engaged users (lecturers and students) be more familiar with.Conclusion: In addition, the study highlighted challenges faced by most lecturers in implementing such learning media although trainings have been conducted. However, most students were more enjoy learning with Panrita 4.0, even though it was their first experience dealing with such media.

<p class="abstrak">Online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic had both positive and negative effects, including online learning for the Dirasah Islamiyah study program, concentration on Education and Teacher Training, Postgraduate at Islamic State University of Alauddin Makassar, so it is necessary to be evaluated. The purpose of this study is to evaluate online learning programs using the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) program evaluation model formulated by Stufflebeam. This descriptive quantitative research used primary data collected from questionnaires from lecturers and students in the Learning Program Evaluation course as a source of informants and secondary data were taken using documentation in the form of Semester Learning Plans, lecture materials, and coursework results. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the implementation of online learning at the Postgraduate Alauddin State Islamic University in Makassar, the Dirasah Islamiyah Study Program with the concentration of Education and Teacher Training had been going well although some parts still needed to be improved such as maximizing the use of the Learning Management System (LMS), clear coordination between fellow lecturers who support courses related to RPS which will be applied for one semester and strict conditioning so that students do their assignments responsibly (free of plagiarism).</p><p class="abstrak"><em>Pembelajaran daring yang berlangsung selama pandemi covid-19 menimbulkan dampak positif dan juga negative, tidak terkecuali pada pembelajaran daring program studi Dirasah Islamiyah konsentrasi Pendidikan dan Keguruan, Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar sehingga perlunya dilakukan evaluasi terhadap program pembelajaran daring tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi program pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan model evaluasi program Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) yang dirumuskan oleh Stufflebeam. Penelitian kuantitatif deskripstif ini menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan dari hasil kusioner dari dosen dan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Evaluasi Program Pembelajaran sebagai sumber informan dan data sekunder yang diambil menggunakan dokumentasi berupa Rencana Pembelajaran Semester, materi perkuliahan, dan hasil tugas mata kuliah. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar, Program Studi Dirasah Islamiyah konsentrasi Pendidikan dan Keguruan mata kuliah Evaluasi Program Pembelajaran sudah berjalan dengan baik meskipun ada beberapa bagian yang masih perlu ditingkatkan seperti memaksimalkan penggunaan Learning Management Sistem (LMS), koordinasi yang jelas antara sesama dosen pengampu mata kuliah terkait Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) yang akan diterapkan selama satu semester dan pengkondisian yang ketat agar mahasiswa mengerjakan tugasnya secara bertanggungjawab (bebas plagiasi).</em></p>

Abstract:
This research aimed at knowing the students' perception and motivation towards Online Language Learning. This research generally answered two questions as follows: (1) what is the students’ perception towards the implementation of online English Learning? and (2) what is the students’ motivation towards the implementation of online English learning? The data were collected through a questionnaire and interviews. There were 54 students of second and fourth semester at English Education Department of Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar participated in this research. Since this research explored the students' perception and motivation which coming from the students' experiences toward online learning, descriptive qualitative design was considered as an appropriate approach as a type of research. The result of this research was presented descriptively in order to reveal the students' perception and motivation comprehensively. The research results were the students viewed positively the online language learning because it is flexible and effective. Meanwhile, its flexibility makes some students motivated but some are being lazy in doing it if they have unstable Internet connection.

Abstract:
The research aims to develop a valid, effective, and practice guidance for laboratory practice of Islamic science-integrated plant anatomy-physiology. The study is development research of Plomp development model. The study consists of five phases, namely the preliminary investigation phase, design phase, realization or construction phase, test, evaluation, and revision phase, and implementation phase. Devices developed were tested to students of Biology Education Department, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Alauddin, Makassar in the Even Semester 2017/2018 Academic Year. The research results indicate that the laboratory practice guidance developed has met valid criteria with content validation average of one practice criteria with device applicability in category three meaning that most of the devices are implemented. Effective criteria with 92% of students who performed the laboratory practice give positive responses to the overall item questioned, and 100% assistants provide positive response on 93.33% items asked.

Abstract:
<p class="abstrak">This research focuses on describing the implementation of Islamic spiritual care of the clinical nursing students at the State Islamic University (UIN). The implementation of Islamic spiritual care has not been done well by nurses. Clinical nursing students are the forerunners of nurses, but no one has examined the description of the application of Islamic spiritual care carried out by clinical nursing students in State Islamic University (UIN). This research method was descriptive quantitative. Samples were students of the clinical nursing students of UIN Jakarta and UIN Alauddin Makassar, 40 respondents. The results showed that most respondents applied Islamic spiritual care well (52.5%). The most well-implemented component is instilling optimism for healing that comes from God (60%). Students need to improve their self-competence in Islamic religious knowledge to become more competent in providing Islamic care to patients. The head of the clinical nursing program needs to emphasize efforts to increase Islamic spiritual competence in the clinical practice setting of learning guidelines through the guidance process and learning achievement targets.</p><p><em>Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengetahui penerapan perawatan spiritual Islam mahasiswa Ners di Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN). Penerapan asuhan keperawatan secara holistik khususnya dalam aspek spiritual karena masih sangat minim </em><em>dilakukan oleh perawat di tatanan pelayanan keperawatan.</em><em> Mahasiswa merupakan cikal bakal perawat dan peneliti belum menemukan penelitian tentang penerapan perawatan Islam oleh mahasiswa Ners di lingkungan UIN.</em><em> </em><em>Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu mahasiswa Ners UIN Jakarta dan UIN Makassar masing-masing 40 responden. Hasil menunjukkan sebagian responden menerapkan perawatan spiritual Islam dengan baik (52,5%). Komponen yang paling banyak diterapkan dengan baik yaitu menanamkan optimisme kesembuhan yang datang dari Allah (60%). Mahasiswa perlu meningkatkan kompetensi diri dalam ilmu agama islam sehingga menjadi lebih kompeten dalam mebrikan perawatah islam kepada paeien, program studi Ners perlu lebih menekankan pada upaya peningkatan kompetensi spiritual islam pada tatanan praktik klini pedoman pembelajaran, melalui proses bimbingan maupu target capaian pembelajaran.</em></p>

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to analyze the competency of intercultural communication in Southern Malay Thailand students in Indonesian languages in UINSU Medan. This study using the Theory of Intercultural Communication Competence of Samovar (2010). This research method uses qualitative research which is approaching the hermeneutic phenomenological study. The research subject is Southern Malay Thailand students in UINSU Medan. The Informants were 4 Students which is obtained through Snowball Sampling. Data collection method is observation, interview, and documentation. Analysis of this study is using thematic. The Data Triangulation have done to 3 (Three) indigenous students and 1 (one) Lecturer. The result of this study is showing that Southern Malay Thailand Students have been competency of intercultural communication, which is we can see it from seven (7) components ; experience, motivation, knowledge, mastering the language, attitudes, adopting the intercultural communication and behaviour.The obstacles of this students is only about Language (Bahasa), they’re less mastering the languages so that sometimes they’re missunderstanding the meaning. Another barriers is the speed in talking, the communication in Medan usually have loud voice and high intonation.</em></p>

Abstract:
This research was aimed to give an encouraging sight of students about reaching a good score on TOEFL. Then, this research facilitated the students to find the best way of increasing their TOEFL listening score in part A which is the focus of this research conducted in PIBA (Program IntensifikasiBahasaAsing) UIN Alauddin, Makassar. This research applied pre-experimental design. The data were collected from the subject which consist of 23 students. In the pre-test, there were only 22% who reach the good classification. After the treatment, the subjects’ score rose significantly by reaching 89% for good category. It was proven by the data of the mean score in pre-test was 392.61 while post-test got 445.65 for the mean score. The data indicated that the treatment gave slight increase in the research.Moreover, test of significant testing showed that the value of the t-table was higher than t-test.Through the interview, the researcher found that among all students, there were 54% used the sound-alike word, 38% applied the restatement idea, and only 8% used the most different option. Furthermore, this research revealed that the answer of TOEFL listening part A could be determined through intonation. The real situation of a conversation and speaker’s intention can be identified by the speaker’s intonation. Consequently, the findings and conclusions noted that the technique and strategies applied and revealed in this research were positively proposed. It is concluded that the students’ TOEFL score can slightly be increased by using discourse technique and by applying the strategies given in this research. Abstract:
<p>This study is aimed at describing the characteristics of basic physics concepts in materials of science literacy enrichment of natural and mineral resources (NMRs) prepared by students of Physics Education Department, Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The method of data collection for scientific literacy ability of NMRs is obtained from the description of NMRs, results of describing the enrichment materials of NMRs process, the basic concepts of physics, and context as well as attitudes of students towards NMRs through paper enrichment materials. This study was conducted to 15 documents of enrichment materials made by students. The study concluded that: (1) characteristics of students’ ability to describe the physics concepts in literacy enrichment materials NMRs show variation; (2) the ability of describing concept of fundamental physics in five NMRs groups being investigated shows a low gains. The study recommends that the application of material needs developing and teaching media literacy enrichment and physical sciences should have more contextual NMRs for secondary, high school and undergraduate students.<br /><br /></p>

Abstract:
Students need to possess sensitivity to the environment in order to behave positively when they notice a problem and find the right solution. This study intends to investigate whether the PBHL model affects the environmental sensitivity of Social Science Education students on environmental issues and conservation materials. The quasi-experimental design of the pretest-posttest controlled group was used in this study. Students of the Social Science Education Department, Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia, were selected as research subjects using a purposive sampling technique. The research subjects were determined to consist of class D as the experimental class (29 students) and class B as the control class (29 students). Questionnaires with a Likert scale of 1 (strongly disagree) – 4 (strongly agree) were used in taking student environmental sensitivity data on environmental issues and conservation materials, totaling 28 items with indicators: knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Subsequently, the data were tested for normality and homogeneity and analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the PBHL model had a significant effect on the environmental sensitivity of Social Science Education students on environmental issues and conservation materials ((p (0.009) α (0.05)). The average results of the sensitivity of the experimental class environment (N-Gain = 13.29) were higher than the control class (N-Gain = 8.75). This goal can be achieved through the syntax in the PBHL model. The suggestion for further research is that it is necessary to develop further by combining the PBHL model and interactive mobile learning media as a means for students to investigate and actualize problem-solving.

This study aims to (1) determine student efforts in self-presentation. (2) Knowing the reasons why students of social science education at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang presented themselves based on dramaturgy theory in the Instagram display. This study uses a qualitative research method with a dramaturgical approach. The research sample amounted to 3 students majoring in Social Studies Education at UIN Malang. Data were collected using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that (1) the reason why students majoring in Social Studies Education at UIN Malang is because actors want to be seen as ideal figures in front of their followers. (2) The students then made efforts to support his role as the figure he presented on Instagram. Such as editing photos or videos that will be uploaded, visiting viral places, to maintaining attitudes and behavior in front of the camera. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the activities carried out by students can be analyzed using dramaturgy theory. Instagram is a front stage where students present themselves. Meanwhile, performance support activities, where actors practice roles, make efforts to support their performances, and become themselves are referred to as back stages. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui upaya mahasiswa dalam melakukan presentasi diri. (2) Mengetahui alasan mahasiswa pendidikan ilmu pengetahuan sosial Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang mempresentasikan diri berdasarkan teori dramaturgi dalam tampilan instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitafif dengan pendekatan dramaturgi. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 3 mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan IPS UIN Malang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) alasan mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan IPS UIN Malang adalah karena aktor ingin dipandang sebagai sosok yang ideal dihadapan followersnya. (2) Para mahasiswa kemudian melakukan upaya-upaya untuk mendukung perannya sebagai sosok yang ia presentasikan di instagram. Seperti melakukan editing pada foto atau video yang akan diunggah, mengunjungi tempat-tempat viral, hingga menjaga sikap dan perilaku di depan kamera. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dapat dianalisis menggunakan teori dramaturgi. Instagram merupakan panggung depan (front stage) tempat mahasiswa mempresentasikan diri. Sedangkan kegiatan pendukung penampilan, tempat aktor berlatih peran, melakukan usaha-usaha untuk mendukung penampilannya, serta menjadi diri sendiri disebut sebagai panggung belakang (back stage).

Abstract The research is descriptive and evaluative about religion and modernization of education for the purpose of finding and describing new problems regarding the basic framework of scientific and curriculum development at PAI Studies Program. The purpose of this study is to describe and reveal indicators of the basic framework changes, the views and attitudes of academicians, curriculum development, and learning process that mainly based on information technology. The research was conducted on three State Islamic Universities, namely UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, and UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang with subject research Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Sciences or PAI study program, and sampling technic was done by purposive random. The data was collected by observation method of participation, structured and in-depth interviews and questionnaire method to faculty (leader) and students. Data analysis was performed through the logical interpretation and constant comparation. This research is conducted in the field by collecting data, writing and provide a logical interpretation of the data. Based on data and analysis above, it can be concluded that implementation of scientific development conducted by study programs/majors PAI to realize an integrated-interconnection approach is already reflected in the determination of the base (vision and mission) majors, policies (quality objectives or quality assurance), programs, and learning process. Whole has grown, when it is understood from the meaning of modernization of education (change/development model of education management), from the old way/conventional leads to a more contemporary. Keywords: Religion, Modernization of Education, PAI Studies Program Abstrak Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan evaluatif tentang agama dan modernisasi pendidikan dengan tujuan untuk menemukan dan menggambarkan permasalahan baru mengenai kerangka dasar pengembangan keilmuan dan kurikulum pada Program Studi PAI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengungkap indikator perubahan kerangka dasar, pandangan dan sikap akademisi, pengembangan kurikulum, dan proses belajar-mengajar, terutama yang berbasis teknologi informasi. Penelitian dilakukan di tiga Universitas Islam Negeri, yaitu UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, dan UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, dengan subjek penelitiannya yaitu Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan atau Program Studi PAI. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive random. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi partisipan, wawancara terstruktur dan mendalam serta metode kuesioner kepada fakultas (pimpinan) dan mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui interpretasi logis dan perbandingan konstan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lapangan dengan mengumpulkan data, menulis dan memberikan interpretasi logis terhadap data. Berdasarkan data dan analisis di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi pengembangan keilmuan yang dilakukan oleh program studi/jurusan PAI untuk mewujudkan pendekatan integrasi-interkoneksi sudah tercermin dalam penentuan jurusan (visi dan misi) jurusan, kebijakan (kualitas objektif atau jaminan mutu), program, dan proses pembelajaran. Semua hal tersebut sudah berkembang, bila dipahami dari makna modernisasi pendidikan (model perubahan/pengembangan manajemen pendidikan), dari cara lama/konvensional menuju ke yang lebih kontemporer. ABSTRAK Strategi penghimpunan zakat infaq dan sedekah masa kini harus selaras dengan perkembangan teknologi dan perilaku masyarakat 5.0 (society 5.0), dimana Society 5.0 menciptakan masyarakat yang berbasis teknologi sehingga pembayaran zakat, infaq, dan sedekah non tunai harus memanfaatkan teknologi finansial seperti, mobile banking, ATM, QRIS, dompet digital maupun e-commerce. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu guna mengetahui besarnya penerimaan dan penggunaan layanan teknologi finansial dalam membayar Zakat, Infaq, dan Sedekah (ZIS) menggunakan ekstensi Technology of Acceptance Model (TAM) dengan motivasi spiritual. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan sebanyak 129 responden yang berasal dari Kota Bekasi, Bandung, Bogor, Cimahi, Sukabumi, Garut, Majalengka, Tasikmalaya, dan Pangandaran. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa muzakki dalam menerima dan menggunakan layanan teknologi keuangan untuk membayar ZIS secara non tunai dipengaruhi oleh persepsi kemudahan, persepsi kegunaan, sikap, dan intensi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah agar lembaga zakat dapat mengetahui penerimaan dan penggunaan teknologi muzakki dalam menunaikan zakat non tunai sehingga dapat berinovasi dalam menyediakan layanan bagi muzakki maupun masyarakat yang akan membayar zakat non tunai. Kata Kunci: Zakat Non Tunai, Kesejahteraan Umum, Perilaku Mikroekonomi, Ekonomi Keuangan. ABSTRACT The strategy of collecting zakat infaq and alms today must be in line with technological developments and community behavior 5.0 (society 5.0), where Society 5.0 creates a technology-based society. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of acceptance and use of financial technology services in paying Zakat, Infaq, and Alms (ZIS) using the Technology of Acceptance Model (TAM) extension with spiritual motivation. The research method used is Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with 129 respondents taken from Bekasi, Bandung, Bogor, Cimahi, Sukabumi, Garut, Majalengka, Tasikmalaya, and Pangandaran. This study found that muzakki in accepting and using financial technology services to pay ZIS non-cash were influenced by perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitudes, and intentions. However, the perceived usefulness does not affect the attitude of muzakki in paying non-cash ZIS, and indirectly the perceived usefulness does not affect the actual use of muzakki to pay ZIS. This research implies that zakat institutions can find out the acceptance and use of muzakki technology in paying zakat so that they can innovate in providing services for muzakki and people who will pay non-cash zakat. Abstract:
The objective of this research was to investigate the level of students' attitudes toward Chemistry and Learning Experience (ATCLE). The research sample included 191 students (61 male and 130 female) from three universities; Universitas Negeri Mataram, Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram, and IK1P Mataram, Indonesia. The sample has been selected through cluster random sampling and snowballs random sampling. Mixed method research with a descriptive correlational survey model and a semi-structured interview was employed for the study. The data were collected by Chemistry Attitudes and Experiences Questionnaire (CAEQ) and an interview guide. Results showed no significant correlation in the level of attitude toward chemistry based on gender and grades. The finding also revealed that the attitude of pre-service chemistry teachers based on gender and grade were more positive towards research in chemistry than jobs related to chemistry. However, grades influenced the students learning experience, but there was no influence of gender on students learning experience. It is suggested that teachers need to develop a positive attitude toward chemistry and learning experiences of the students through inquiry-based learning practices.
