Abstract:

Abstract:
Since the beginning of diplomatic ties in 1951, China-Pakistan has enjoyed long-lasting, stable and friendly relations and considered to be an irreplaceable “all-weather friend” as well. In any hard and troubled time, both countries support each other. Pakistan could have got more benefit from China in the last several decades; however, the CPEC under Chinas “BRI” provides a very shining opportunity for the economic development of Pakistan. Balochistan is geographically the largest and population-wise the smallest province. With its precious mineral resources, deep sea and a vast coast with fantastic climate Balochistan has been ignored; consequently, a significant portion of the youth opted for alternative way, engaging themselves in such activities which brought uncertainty and trouble in the province. Of course, the primary cause of such a condition is economic deprivation, joblessness and most importantly political power which has not been given to them.

Full text
Abstract:

Abstract:

Regularly on the filling stations (FS) there are failures at priming of transport vehicles, when a driver, driving away after priming, forgets to smuggle out of a pistol from the mouth of filling tank of car. Thus, at wedging of pistol in the tank of car, there are not only breaks in a chart a pistol is a hose but also serious destructions of fuel filling dispenser (FFD). In the present paper the mathematical model of functioning of chart is considered vehicle - fuel filling dispenser. From the analysis of the got model, if a car begins motion with the undrawn pistol out of a fuel tank, the geometrical parameters of chart are determined vehicle - fuel filling dispenser, at which slipping out of pistol or his wedging will be in the mouth of tank which possible consequences are considered for (tearing away of pistol from a hose, tearing away of hose from corps of filling vehicle, break of hose, deformation of fuel filling dispenser). The geometrical parameters of chart are determined fuel filling dispenser, at which "forgetfulness" of driver will not result in damages of fuel filling dispenser f, and there will be slipping out of pistol from the mouth of fuel tank of car.

Abstract:
The subject of the study is the process of criminal procedural proof in cases of fraud committed in the way "Your relative got into trouble". This method of fraud is implemented, as a rule, by a group of persons, and the task of the investigator during the preliminary investigation is to collect, verify and evaluate the totality of evidence indicating a certain form of complicity in the commission of a crime. Based on the analysis of criminal cases, a typical set of ideal and material traces is investigated, which are recorded by the investigator in the appropriate types of criminal procedural evidence provided for in Part 2 of Article 74 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. This body of evidence gives the investigator grounds to assert that when committing fraud, members of a criminal group plan crimes in advance, assign roles and carry out jointly coordinated activities to implement a criminal plan. The study was conducted using general scientific methods of cognition: analysis, synthesis, deduction, analogy; empirical methods: description, comparison; as well as private scientific methods: legal, sociological, formal legal. The analysis of criminal cases of fraud committed in the way "Your relative got into trouble" allowed us to identify a set of evidence that gives grounds to classify these crimes as committed by a group of persons by prior agreement. At the same time, the paper identifies the problem of inaccessibility to law enforcement agencies of information from the Telegram messenger about the planning and preparation of crimes, which makes it impossible to identify the organizers and other members of the criminal group and does not allow to qualify the actions of accomplices as committed by an organized group. The latter is important from the point of view of bringing to criminal responsibility all members of a criminal group and more precisely qualifying and determining the severity of a crime committed by a group of persons by prior agreement. The above should entail the type and amount of criminal punishment adequate to the activities of an organized criminal group. Abstract:
On the basis of the results of many years work in the inspection of engineering systems of buildings and structures, the presented work reflects aspects of obsolescence or imperfection of the regulatory document of the Russian Federation GOST 31937–2011 «Buildings and structures. Rules for inspection and monitoring of technical condition» in part of section 5.4. The types of work that are not taken into account in the GOST, but are necessary when inspecting for an objective assessment of the technical condition of engineering systems and the possibility of further trouble-free operation are considered. The authors propose modern inspection methods that make it possible, due to the instrumental tools used, to more accurately determine the operational capabilities of systems, identify hidden shortcomings and further develop optimal measures with the maximum improvement of indicators for financial expenses for major repairs of systems as a whole or individual elements.

This Editor's column summarises some of the insights I got from Richard Wollheim over the years, and from a recent Teams-chat with students in my class. Most notably: the role of suitable prompting in aesthetic normativity. In a sense, these insights help me understand this remark from Wittgenstein: `The existence of the experimental method makes us think we have the means of solving the problems which trouble us; though problem and method pass one another by.' Learning outcomes The learning outcomes of this paper are as follows: to understand the language of accounting, to interpret financial statements to understand beyond what’s reported and to predict the financial health of a company before it is too late. Case overview/synopsis The case revolves around the Indian coffee retail giant - Café Coffee Day (hereafter, CCD). Coffee Day Global Limited of which CCD is a part, is the largest producer of Arabica beans in India. The case goes on to discuss the life and profile of VG Siddhartha (hereafter, VGS), whose leadership and farsightedness made coffee a household name in India, traditionally a tea-drinking country. Within just a year or two after its Initial Public Offering in November 2015, the company’s financial and legal troubles began to surface. The worst blow came when VGS, the 60-year-old founder and CEO committed suicide on July 29, 2019. His group’s mounting debt and impending doom had propelled him to take his own life. Today, the future of CCD remains hanging in the balance, with creditors ready and willing to take the firm into bankruptcy. Complexity academic level Under-graduates and above. Joys and sorrows are inevitable in the course of human life, when in trouble, the man has always tried to get closer to something supernatural (which they call God), this approach is usually through sacrifice in the form of offerings, crops of fruit, or livestock like cows, buffalo, camel, or goat. By granting this sacrifice they expect all the problems of life they experience can be resolved, or at least be stopped and replaced with better ones. Islam has a system set up with the perfect execution of the sacrificial services ranging from requirements, law, animals can be used as a sacrifice, execution time, and so on.

Abstract:
A professor in information systems discovers that his personal website has been hacked. Even worse, his ISP has suspended his site because the defacement included a PayPal phishing scheme. This is not the first time this has happened. How should he recover? Dr. T. Grandon Gill, a Professor in the Information Systems and Decision Sciences Department at the University of South Florida, was traveling with his family in England when he received a strange phone message. Not being able to respond, he ignored it until—a couple of days later—he was notified that access to his personal website had been suspended (see Exhibit 1). Grandon.com had, once again, been hacked–for the 7th time. Getting his website hacked was not a new experience for Grandon Gill. In the past, however, getting the site back up and running had been a quick fix involving replacing the corrupted files. This time it was different. Based on the email and his service provider’s response, his site now contained links to PayPal phishing sites. Without significant changes, he could become complicit in fraud if the situation was not remedied. This was a problem that could no longer be ignored. After Gill had re-read the email, he pondered the various options available to him. Given the amount of trouble it was causing him, he wondered if he needed the website at all. To maintain the domain name grandon.com, which he had held for more than 20 years, all he needed to do was to put up a simple landing page with a message: “Hi, I am Grandon—go to my school account to find out more.” At the other extreme, he could completely re-engineer the site to make it much less vulnerable—a process that could take days, if not weeks. Between the two extremes, there were many other possibilities. These included changing hosts, simplifying the site so that it contained only the most critical information, dropping its WordPress component, or even going to a pure WordPress model. He had a suspicion, based on previous experience, that vulnerabilities in WordPress may have been the source of the hack. But were these vulnerabilities intrinsic to the application, or were they simply the result of his inattentive management? Whatever he decided, he needed to take action soon. It was very embarrassing, and perhaps professionally damaging, to have his site showing an unavailable message. He thought back to a popular ironic quote that said: “Good decisions come from experience, and experience comes from bad decisions.” What should he do now?

Abstract:
Introduction: Anthropomorphic representations generally suggests that certain human characteristics are universal and can be shared by all creatures. This paper attempts to study the anthropomorphic effect on human’s prosocial behaviour through a metaphorical representation of a black goat named Poonachi in Poonachi or the Story of a Black Goat (2017) by Perumal Murugan. Method: The paper employs qualitative literary analysis and references theories of anthropomorphism, including the frameworks of Theory of mind and Guthrie’s Cognitive evolution to examine how Poonachi represents marginalized groups, especially women subjected to discrimination based on gender, caste, and colour. The analysis demonstrates that Murugan’s anthropomorphic approach humanises the goat Poonachi, eliciting empathy for marginalized individuals. Discussion: This study examines the anthropomorphic influence on human prosocial behaviour, concentrating on the metaphorical depiction of Poonachi. It investigates how the ascription of human characteristics to animals cultivates empathy in readers and prompts contemplation about marginalized situations. Poonachi is examined as a symbol of a woman confronting the obstacles of a patriarchal and caste-restricted society. The narrative functions as a metaphor for the challenges faced by Dalit women, immersing readers in the socio-political dynamics of power and discrimination in rural India. Eventually, this story falls into the category of anthropomorphism where the goat reflects the existential reflection of a woman’s rural life and it exposes a lot about discrimination and troubled lives. Results: The outcome indicate that anthropomorphism in Poonachi serves as a potent instrument for social commentary, promoting prosocial behaviour and stimulating critical thought on societal inequities, especially concerning caste and gender.

To the Editor.— The controversy regarding circumcision and urinary tract infections following the article by Dra Wiswell and Roscelli has not addressed one important factor—what kind of care is appropriate for the uncircumcised boy. After 40 years of pediatric practice, I am firmly convinced that the best hygiene is to keep hands off and leave the prepuce alone. I have had many infants with problems fro inadequate and poorly done circumcisions; similarly, I have had many uncircumcised infants who got into trouble when a "helpful" nurse, doctor, or grandmother forcibly retracted and cleaned a tight prepuce.

Abstract:
The subject of the study is the ideal traces formed when committing frauds against the elderly, using the method of providing false information by phone that their close relative or acquaintance was in a traffic accident and needed help. The mechanism of formation of traces for this type of fraud depends on the method of its commission in modern conditions, when fraudsters remotely convince victims to transfer money through a courier. When committing these crimes, a set of ideal traces is formed, which in criminology include the testimony of victims, witnesses, suspects, and accused. The investigator's knowledge of the typical features of the ideal traces of the type of crime under consideration will allow to establish the mechanism of committing a criminal act, identify the circle of witnesses to the crime, determine the list of investigative actions aimed at collecting evidence. Research methods: the research is based on comparative legal, formal legal, systemic structural and specific sociological methods. The analysis of the materials of criminal cases allowed us to conclude about a certain set of ideal traces formed during the commission of the type of fraud in question. At the initial stage of the investigation, the testimony of the victims, who provide complete information about the event of the crime, is of great importance. The paper provides the author's justification for the conditions of presentation for the identification of a suspect by voice. Among the close relatives or acquaintances of the victim, three groups of witnesses have been identified who should be questioned during the investigation of the type of crimes in question. These include persons whose name the fraudsters presented themselves to; persons to whom the victim reported the incident and persons who are eyewitness. The ideal traces for this category of fraud include the testimony of suspected couriers, who, as a rule, plead guilty and give confessions. The testimony of other persons who contacted the courier and have information about the crime event is also important.

Abstract:
Jimusaer tight oil reservoir is characterized by complex lithology, low permeability and high total organic carbon (TOC) content. These features make conventional logging responses very complicated and bring big troubles to reservoir identification. Horizontal well drilling is extremely difficult due to high heterogeneity and uncertain faulting. To maximize oil production with low cost, an integrated solution is provided. First, accurate reservoir characteristics of the pilot well was got using an unconventional evaluation approach by combining capture spectroscopy log, micro-resistivity imager log, nuclear magnetic resonance log, et al. Second, structure analysis for sidetracking well and well correlation between the sidetracking well and the pilot well were done to guide the horizontal section drilling. Third, reservoir quality and completion quality were evaluated for horizontal well, and a 3D structural model was built to optimize the stimulation design by combining reservoir quality, completion quality and natural fractures.

So I be quiet just sittin' there lookin' at the back of somebody's head. The teacher be sayin' something' about the way the Mayflower people survive and the kind a tent the Indian live in. What am I supposed to do about it? The buildin' I live in don't have heat or hot water so the Indian tent ain't no different except it be cooler in summer. One day the teacher say to write a paper about how life be different from the time a the early settlers, so I do. The next day she give it back to me with a red pen mark all over it. She say she want me to learn to speak English. I thought I was. I thought I be sayin' somethin' about how hard life is for me just like it be for the Mayflower people. I got to deal with the freezin' winter and no food and people hackin' and coughin' in my face at home. I got to deal with attacks from other gangs, you know. The only thing I learned that day is how to look like a fool in front of the class who be laughin' when the teacher read my paper out loud. I never went back after that. So what? School never teach me how to live today and I don't care how they live a hundred year ago … The only thing school teach me is how to feel stupid and I got my father for that.

Because he did not get the general printing right, he got into big financial trouble. Using his acquaintance with the rich Greek-Aromanian family Darvar, he tried to overcome these problems by printing books in Greek. Taking into account the fact that this is still unknown in Serbian science, we present the available data on it, considering it important for the Serbian national bibliography, and in this way specific international cultural relations are additionally presented. At the end of the paper, a list of all Greek books that Davidovic printed is given.

Abstract:
Thomas Cromwell's association with various writers has long been noted, but how these authors' writings might reflect his personal religious beliefs has not been closely studied. An examination of one such author, William Marshall, and of his work, reveals not only that Cromwell was likely a Lutheran, but that he used the press to promote doctrinal Protestantism in England. Through Marshall, Cromwell sponsored English translations of doctrinally radical texts by Martin Luther, Joachim von Watt, and Martin Bucer. And when these books got Marshall into trouble, Cromwell protected him. The picture that emerges substantiates John Foxe's description of Cromwell as a ‘valiant soldier and captain of Christ’, but also the charge made in his bill of attainder, that he had circulated heretical books.

He liked tony international places: he once said he owed the idea for La muerte de Artemio Cruz (1962; The Death of Artemio Cruz), perhaps the most “Mexican” of his novels, “to the North Sea and a beach in Holland” (Interview). But his cosmopolitanism got him into trouble, such as when a well-intentioned but off-key televised public-service announcement resulted in late-night TV parodies. Addressing the pollution problem in Mexico City, Fuentes pleaded for the public to save his “beloved” city—all while standing in an idyllic spot in Cambridge, England.
