Abstract:
On 15 March 46 Claudius published at Baiae an edict enfranchising the Anauni, Tulliasses and Sinduni. The citizenship of these tribespeople in the Italian Alps had previously been uncertain: they were attached to the nearby municipium of Tridentum, which already enjoyed Roman citizenship, but were themselves no more than de facto Roman citizens. Claudius now confirmed their legal status as Romans.

Abstract:
Claudian's carm. min. 50 which is addressed ‘In Jacobum Magistrum Equitum’ has recently been the subject of a detailed study by J. Vanderspoel. In it he reviews what little we know about the career of Jacobus using as his second source in this matter the letter of Vigilius, bishop of Tridentum, to John Chrysostom, bishop of Constantinople, the heading of which reports that the relics of the martyrs Sisinnius, Alexander and Martyrius reached Constantinople ‘per Jacobum virum illustrem’. Whilst I am willing to accept the argument that the relics must have been delivered by about A.D. 400, if not earlier, and that Jacobus received the office of magister equitum subsequent to this, I have some misgivings about the treatment afforded the earlier career of Jacobus, and it is to this matter which I wish to draw attention here.

Abstract:
The article, for the first time in academic research, puts and comprehensively considers a unique phenomenon of picturing seven images stylized under the lily of the prince’s tridents of Volodymyr on the frescoes and graffiti of St. Sophia of Kyiv, which elucidates the time of the cathedral construction and its prince-builder. They are singled out as separate compositions, “inserted” in the center of large narrative scenes of the religious and secular nature. Four tridents of Volodymyr are present in four frescoes of the vestry, decorated with scenes from the cycle of the Virgin; two more are present in the fresco of the north stair tower, which is part of the secular cycle that tells about the conclusion of dynastic marriage between Prince Volodymyr and Byzantine Princess Anna. Two inverted tridents of Volodymyr, drawn by his warriors after the death of the prince, were found in the graffiti of St. Sophia. They appeared around 1017 after Yaroslav’s capture of the Kyiv throne. Volodymyr’s trident on the walls of St. Sophia is a sign of his ownership of the temple and the glorification of the prince in the eyes of contemporaries and descendants. On the wall of the St. Michael’s altar of the cathedral there is a trident of Iziaslav Yaroslavych, similar to the lilies on the frescoes of the cathedral, which in the conditions of feud marked the right of this prince to Kyiv and St. Sophia, its heart. Iziaslav’s trident appeared here during the difficult period between 1068 and 1078. The prince’s tridents did not appear in the graffiti of Sophia spontaneously, as their authors were inspired by the urgent needs of life at that time. Like the oldest dated graffiti on its walls, mosaics, and frescoes, Prince Volodymyr’s tridents confirm the inference that St. Sophia was founded by Volodymyr the Great in 1011, and during his reign the cathedral was built and decorated with mosaics and frescoes. Instead, Yaroslav’s tridents were not found on the walls of St. Sophia.

Abstract:
Pterospartum tridendatum is an important source of active compounds with anti-inflammatory properties. The ability of P. tridentatum leaves methanolic extract in preventing/reversing inflammation was studied in adult rats using a model of experimental osteoarthritis (OA) and ear edema. Control animals (SHAM) were administered phosphate buffer solution (PBS), while OA animals received either P. tridentatum 100 mg/kg, 300 mg/kg, or a commercial anti-inflammatory (15 mg/Kg, Ibuprofen) via gavage, daily, for three weeks. Ear edema was induced, and the animals were divided into five groups treated with: (i) ethanol, (ii) P. tridentatum, (iii) croton oil, (iv) croton oil + P. tridentatum, and (v) croton oil + medrol. The inflammatory effect was evaluated by the measurement of the knee and ear edema. The chromatographic profile, evaluated by HPLC-DAD, showed numerous phenolic compounds are present. In the docking analysis of these compounds, isoquercetin demonstrated strong molecular interactions for peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha and gamma (PPARα and PPARƴ, respectively), protein kinase 2 subunit α (CK2 α), and 5-lipoxygenase-activating proteins. Genistein had strong docking binding energies for CK2α and prostaglandin H (2) synthase-1. Our analysis showed the treatment with P. tridentatum extract reversed OA-induced edema in the rat knee, as well as ear edema, highlights this plant as a potential source of compounds that can be used as adjuvants in the management of inflammation.

Abstract:
Bridges are the essential components in lifeline transportation systems, and their safe operation is of great importance. Information on structural damage could assist in timely repairs and reduce downtime. With the latest advancements in sensing technology, collecting vibration data from bridges has become more accessible. However, effective vibration processing is still a challenge, given the high dimensionality and massive size of vibration data. Existing studies have shown that machine/deep learning techniques can be valuable tools for this task. However, the learning and computational capacities of these models are challenged in the presence of large sensor arrays. We propose Trident as a novel deep learning framework that enables automatic damage feature extraction by simultaneously learning from temporal and three-dimensional (3D) spatial variations of 6D input data in instrumented bridges. Trident is equipped with 3 ConvLSTM3D branches to achieve this goal. A 3D steel truss bridge subject to dynamic traffic loads is monitored for its vibrations to evaluate Trident’s robustness in finding damaged elements. A damage dataset of 52,800 vehicle passing simulations is generated leveraging a database of 528 passenger vehicles in the United States, obtained from the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration. Bayesian optimization is utilized to tune the model’s hyperparameters, achieving a test Node Average Geometric Mean Accuracy of 86%. This level of performance is promising given the high dimensionality and complexities of the output space in vibration-based monitoring. Trident’s concept can be extended to other vibration monitoring tasks with different time series data and damage labeling strategies.

Abstract:
Amongst many legal and disciplinary warrants and orders of Trident Council (1545-1563) which undertook energetic action to reform and revival of the church, there was a Cum adolescentium aetas decreefound, accepted on May 8th 1563, orduring to the bishops to create theological seminaries. This decree also changed the from of preparation of candidates for priesthood. Implementation into being and realization of Council’s resolutions, including the decree for theological seminaries, was depended in big extent from personal involvement of the bishops. The most effective tool for realization of Tridentinum resolutions by the bishops in individual dioceses were Diocesan Synods, pointed anyway by the Council itself as important factors of the reform. Trident reform, within the range of priests preparation for priesthood in Włocławek Diocese, found favorable conditions and resulted already in 1568 with foundation, and in 1569 with erection of diocesan seminary in Włocławek by bishop Stanislaw Karnkowski, later the primate. This seminary went through different difficulties and not always was able to fully fulfil its function. However thanks to efforts and care of Stanislaw Karnkowski’s successors, especially bishop Paweł Wolucki and Maciej Lubieński as well as the chapter, this seminary prepared candidates for priesthood according to Tridentinum spirit. Also the other seminary, called Schothand or Gdańsk seminary was to serve for that purpose, and this seminary was designated to educate candidates for holy orders inpart of Pomerania diocese, and those ones who contributes the most to this idea were bishops Hieronim Rozrażewski and Paweł Wolucki. Formation of the candidates for holy orders was outhined mainly by the following synods: Stanislaw Karnkowski’s from 1568, Wojciech Baranowski’s from 1607, Paweł Wolucki’s from 1620, Andrzej Lipski’s from 1622 and 1628 and Maciej Lubieński from 1634 and 1641. These synods, according to spirit of Trident decree, determined detailed requiremants set for aspirants for priesthood as well as they determinal wurse of the formation leading to priesthood. Big credit should be granted to initiative of bishops: Karnkowski, Baranowski and Wolucki in reference to field of awaking and shaping the priest vocation. All three men mentioned above displayed their understanding not only to dispositions and orders of Trident Council but also to real needs of the diocese. Through synod legislators who made legal regulations, the big care and concern appeared that the diocese would get well prepared and to same extent versatile formed priests for priest’s service.

Abstract:
In the history of canon law, as well as like in history of many other forms and aspects of ecclesiastical life, Trident Council (1545-1563) was of a great importance. Renovation work initiated by Council, thought as remedy for crisis situation intensified by reformation outbreak, was without any doubts a turning point not only in history of church legislation, but also in the history of Church itself. For hundred and forty years from ending of the conference of Trident Council is an occasion for discerning reflection over the role and importance of votes of that significant and grave event in the history of the Church, which was a great gift of the Spirit presented to the Church in hard times of XVIth century and turning point that started big, needed and salutary reform and renovation of the Church. Trident formed and changed the visage of Catholic Church more than any other ordinary Council except of The Und Vatican Council. The other Councils, despite their significance, influenced only specific areas of Church life, impressing their impact on them. It set a new direction and shape to the whole historical epoch. It was this Council that formed „catholic confession Church”, it gave him an order and shape in doctrinal and disciplinary area. Legal resolutions of the Council had first of all reformative character. Besides passing the resolutions, which had fundamental importance for Church’s work, as residency dictation, ban of benefices accumulation, establishing the clerical seminary, enforcing the obligatory legal form of marriages contracting or reform of religious law, the Council implemented all line of improvements and institutions started by Apostolic Capital. The great gift of the Spirit, reforms and renovation presented to the Church of the half of XVIth century in resolutions of Trident Council was to release comprehensive trend of assimilation by individual countries, nations, church’s provinces and dioceses the basic decrees and resolution, which were taken by Council’s fathers. Before everything else, situation that the Church winded up in required all that, because Church was from one side menaced by developing reformation, from the other side it was afflicted by crisis of its structures and institutions, collapse of discipline of priesthood and declining religious life. This situation forced to take on changes and reforms programmed by the Tridentinum and which concern widely understood religious renovation referring to priesthood and secular congregation, as well as Church structures themselves. In the same time, the point was both to correct recognition of totality of Council’s reformatory resolutions and to definitely implement them and enforce into life of mentioned church units. Acceptance of Trident resolutions meant the beginning of reforms on many areas of church and religious life. So no wonder, that efforts of popes from the end of XVIth century and the subsequent centuries were directed to propagate a conviction in Church’s consciousness, that Tridentinum should be recognized as not only the ultimate principle of faith, but also as rule of church discipline. Norms established earlier were integrated, specified and updated by Trident becoming a significant motor of further legislative activity of legislators in the Church. On the Council, foundations for development of modern canon law and its application in the Church were also set. Hereof, taking this all into consideration we can state, that this Council is a beginning of a new epoch for history of canon law. Its resolutions explained and determined dogmatic matters, strengthened organization and discipline in the Church, gave a new impulse to maintain shaken internal cohesion of the Church and created convenient conditions to take up offensive priestly action on wider scale. Thus they had significant impact on four centuries of life, activity and history of the church.

Abstract:
Abstract Transmission spectroscopy is one of the premier methods used to probe the temperature, composition, and cloud properties of exoplanet atmospheres. Recent studies have demonstrated that the multidimensional nature of exoplanet atmospheres—due to nonuniformities across the day–night transition and between the morning and evening terminators—can strongly influence transmission spectra. However, the computational demands of 3D radiative-transfer techniques have precluded their usage within atmospheric retrievals. Here we introduce TRIDENT, a new 3D radiative-transfer model which rapidly computes transmission spectra of exoplanet atmospheres with day–night, morning–evening, and vertical variations in temperature, chemical abundances, and cloud properties. We also derive a general equation for transmission spectra, accounting for 3D atmospheres, refraction, multiple scattering, ingress/egress, grazing transits, stellar heterogeneities, and nightside thermal emission. After introducing TRIDENT’s linear-algebra-based approach to 3D radiative transfer, we propose new parametric prescriptions for 3D temperature and abundance profiles and 3D clouds. We show that multidimensional transmission spectra exhibit two significant observational signatures: (i) day–night composition gradients alter the relative amplitudes of absorption features; and (ii) morning–evening composition gradients distort the peak-to-wing contrast of absorption features. Finally, we demonstrate that these signatures of multidimensional atmospheres incur residuals >100 ppm compared to 1D models, rendering them potentially detectable with the James Webb Space Telescope. TRIDENT’s rapid radiative transfer, coupled with parametric multidimensional atmospheres, unlocks the final barrier to 3D atmospheric retrievals.

Abstract:
The recent advancements in storage technologies have popularized the use of tiered storage systems in data-intensive compute clusters. The Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), for example, now supports storing data in memory, SSDs, and HDDs, while OctopusFS and hatS offer fine-grained storage tiering solutions. However, the task schedulers of big data platforms (such as Hadoop and Spark) will assign tasks to available resources only based on data locality information, and completely ignore the fact that local data is now stored on a variety of storage media with different performance characteristics. This paper presents Trident, a principled task scheduling approach that is designed to make optimal task assignment decisions based on both locality and storage tier information. Trident formulates task scheduling as a minimum cost maximum matching problem in a bipartite graph and uses a standard solver for finding the optimal solution. In addition, Trident utilizes two novel pruning algorithms for bounding the size of the graph, while still guaranteeing optimality. Trident is implemented in both Spark and Hadoop, and evaluated extensively using a realistic workload derived from Facebook traces as well as an industry-validated benchmark, demonstrating significant benefits in terms of application performance and cluster efficiency.

Abstract:
There is a relationship between the use of fluoride, the reduction of dental caries and the increase of dental fluorosis. The purpose of this study was to analyze the fluoride kinetics in saliva after using the HappydentTM chewing gum, which contains 3.38 mg of fluoride as monofluorophosphate. Fifteen 7-9-year-old volunteers were instructed to chew the gum TridentTM (control) and HappydentTM on different days. Total saliva was collected for 3 minutes, at 0, 3, 6, 9, 15, 30 and 45 minutes after starting chewing. Salivary fluoride was analyzed with a fluoride-specific electrode (Orion 96-09) after acid hydrolysis. The data were analyzed by two-way analysis of variance and by Tukey’s post hoc test (p < 0.05). The mean amounts ± sd (mg) of fluoride released in saliva were 0.276 ± 0.126 and 0.024 ± 0.014 for HappydentTM and TridentTM respectively. The fluoride amount in the saliva samples after the use of Happydent was significantly higher than after the use of TridentTM in all experimental periods, except after 30 and 45 minutes. The high fluoride presence in saliva after the use of Happydent may be significant to prevent dental caries and this should be evaluated in clinical researches. On the other hand, children at an age of risk for dental fluorosis should avoid the use of HappydentTM.

Abstract:
In this article, the authors propose a novel anomaly detection algorithm based on subspace local density estimation. The key insight of the proposed algorithm is to build multiple trident trees, which can implement the process of building subspace and local density estimation. Each trident tree (T-tree) is constructed recursively by splitting the data outside of 3 sigma into the left or right subtree and splitting the remaining data into the middle subtree. Each node in trident tree records the number of instances that falls on this node, so each trident tree can be used as a local density estimator. The density of each instance is the average of all trident tree evaluation instance densities, and it can be used as the anomaly score of instances. Since each trident tree is constructed according to 3 sigma principle, it can obtain good anomaly detection results without a large tree height. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and efficient.

Abstract:
Cereal cyst nematode (CCN; Heterodera avenae Woll.) is a root pathogen of cereals that can cause severe yield losses in intolerant wheat cultivars. Tolerance to CCN, measured as early vigour in CCN-infested plots, was mapped in a Trident/Molineux doubled-haploid (DH) population. A locus accounting for a significant proportion of the tolerance to CCN was mapped to chromosome 6B of Molineux by association with RFLP loci Xcdo347-6B and Xbcd1 and also by nullisomic/tetrasomic substitution line analysis, and has been designated Cre8. The linkage of CCN tolerance with Xcdo347-6B was validated using a Barunga/Suneca DH population. The Cre8 locus also contributed to CCN resistance in the Trident/Molineux population. The RFLP locus Xbcd175, which is diagnostic for the Aegilops ventricosa segment VPM1 of Trident, explained up to 18% of the variation for early vigour in CCN-infested soils in the Trident/Molineux population. However, the Trident/Molineux population also segregated for early vigour in the absence of CCN, with Xbcd175 explaining up to 7% of the variation for this trait. The VPM1 segment of Trident therefore provides early vigour that may contribute to CCN tolerance in this cultivar.

Abstract:
AbstractMajorca and Ibiza entered the new Bourbon administrative system in 1715 and they did it in the shape of an intendancy, with a trident formed by an intendant, a head accountant and an army treasurer. The changes between this and the previous model were substantial, if we focus them on two concepts: permanent militarization and stabilization. However, the practices of social and power reproduction, the existence of administrative endogamy and the weak renewal of the key management men create parallelisms with previous centuries. The fiscal data and the composition of the intendancy also show the continuity of its second order territory condition along the 18th century, where the release of the State plans will be guaranteed through the long mandates at the army's treasury and the main accounting offices, a key element that will underpin this weak intendancy.

Abstract:
The materials of archaeological research in 2020 on the territory of the mound and moundless necropolises belonged to the Old Rus Chernihiv are examined and analyzed in the paper. This is the area on the border of suburb and the territory beyond it, where the remains of a barrow necropolis (11th century) and the moundless burial ground (city cemetery of the 11th — mid-13th centuries) were discovered. The barrows which were visible as early as the 18th century, belonged to the first stage of the burial ground functioning. A total of 65 moundless burials were discovered. Judging by individual cases of cutting some graves by later ones we can confidently talk about the duration of the existence of the moundless burial ground in this area. The discovery of the rim of a pot of the 12th century and fabric from the collar may indicate the burials in the 12th century as well. Thus, the site was used for at least 200 years. During this time, the barrow mounds were significantly leveled, the external signs of moundless burials of the 11th century disappeared from the surface but the site continued to be used. It is noteworthy that burials in the moundless necropolis are mainly without grave goods which is characteristic of the Christian tradition. The find of the pendant with the image of a trident is of great interest. It belongs to the official two-sided pendants of the end of the 10th — the first half of the 11th century and were used as the badges of officials of the princely apparatus. Judging by the features of the images of tridents on the obverse and reverse, the period of use of the pendant covers the reigns of Mstislav and Yaroslav Volodymyrovyches.

Abstract:
In this paper, the model of the trident chamfer, which is the twin tripod sliding universal joint used in small rolling mill, is created by the software Solidworks, and the statics has been analyzed by using the software ANSYS Workbench. The stress contours diagrams and the deformation contours diagrams of the trident chamfer are obtained,so as to arrive its stress distribution and deformation. So the maximum stress concentration parts of the trident chamfer are known by being analyzed. Similarly, The maximum deformation concentration parts are obtained. All above of this provides the theoretical basis for the further study of twin tripod sliding universal joint, especially in the improvement of the structure as well as the heat treatment of the material.

Abstract:
Important and significant person in the church reform and reception the Trident reform in diocese of Włocławek is person of the bishop Stanisław Karnkowski (1567-1581), next arcbishop gnieźnieński and primate of Poland (1582-1603). Through his two synods of the dioceses of Włocławek of 1568 and 1579 and another acts law-priesthood introduce the reform of Trent and increase change the face of the Włocławek Church. Karnkowski realize, that renovation of priesthood and reparation religious life must to have beginning in reform of the clergy, to keep church discipline and instruction control sacramental life. About this he take care in legislation and pastoral activity. Among the rich problems of the two Włocławek synods and another law-priesthood acts, such as The collection of the synods constitutions of 1579 and Admonitiones, many places Karnkowski as bishop of Włocławek dedicated of performance and receive of the sacraments in this principally the Eucharistic. Through his law-priesthood activity Karnkowski to wish order whole question related with Eucharistic sacrament, his performing, receiving, keeping and cult. This activity was systematic wide and totality. Its refer to the activity exclusively law, intend to do universal of Eucharistic. This activity had practical character, because to serve renovation priesthood in spirit of the Trident Council and increase to know through the clergy problems connected with morality theology, sacramentaly and liturgy. Noteworthy is wide base synod resolution and another law-priesthood acts on the decree of Trident Council as for testify about great care of the bishop Karnkowski abut introduce Trident reform in diocese Włocławek life. Analysis the above acts of law and another activity authorize to find that Karnkowski to wish that perform and receive this sacrament to be celebrated in harmony with Trident norms, thus through his activity to increase to rebirth religious and sacrament life.

Abstract:
This paper introduces and describes a new type of undulatory wheeled locomotor, which we refer to as a “trident steering walker.” The wheeled locomotor is a nonholonomic mechanical system, which consists of an equilateral triangular base, three joints, three links and four steering systems. The equilateral triangular base has a steering system at its center of mass. At each apex of the base is a joint which connects the base and a link. The link has a steering system at its midpoint. The wheeled locomotor transforms driving the three joints into its movement by operating the four steering systems. This means that the wheeled locomotor achieves undulatory locomotion in which changes in its own shape are transformed into its net displacement. We assume that there is a virtual joint at the end of the first link. The virtual joint connects the first link and a virtual link which has a virtual axle at its midpoint and a virtual steering system at its end. We prove that, by assuming the presence of such virtual mechanical elements, it is possible to convert the kinematical equation of the trident steering walker into five-chain, single-generator chained form in a mathematical framework, differential geometry. Based on chained form, we derive a path following feedback control method which causes the trident steering walker to follow a straight path. We also define a performance index of propulsion of the trident steering walker to design its control parameters. The validity of the mechanical design of the trident steering walker, the conversion of its kinematical equation into chained form, the straight path following feedback control method, and the design of the control parameters reflecting the performance index of propulsion has been verified by computer simulations.

Abstract:
The single shot multi-box detector (SSD) exhibits low accuracy in small-object detection; this is because it does not consider the scale contextual information between its layers, and the shallow layers lack adequate semantic information. To improve the accuracy of the original SSD, this paper proposes a new single shot multi-box detector using trident feature and squeeze and extraction feature fusion (SSD-TSEFFM); this detector employs the trident network and the squeeze and excitation feature fusion module. Furthermore, a trident feature module (TFM) is developed, inspired by the trident network, to consider the scale contextual information. The use of this module makes the proposed model robust to scale changes owing to the application of dilated convolution. Further, the squeeze and excitation block feature fusion module (SEFFM) is used to provide more semantic information to the model. The SSD-TSEFFM is compared with the faster regions with convolution neural network features (RCNN) (2015), SSD (2016), and DF-SSD (2020) on the PASCAL VOC 2007 and 2012 datasets. The experimental results demonstrate the high accuracy of the proposed model in small-object detection, in addition to a good overall accuracy. The SSD-TSEFFM achieved 80.4% mAP and 80.2% mAP on the 2007 and 2012 datasets, respectively. This indicates an average improvement of approximately 2% over other models.
