Full textThis thesis addresses the problem of the development of cooperation within the work teams. The literature review emphasizes that they are typically confronted with communication difficulties, problems of mistrust and power games. These difficulties undermine their cooperation. However, the usual strategies to support the cooperation (to let it emerge, teach it, to prescribe methods, behaviours and attitudes support) do not allow answer the following question: how can one develop the cooperation within a team ? This research proposes a systemic model of the development of the cooperation. It borrows concepts from various fields: communication, trust dynamics, cognitive processes, group dynamics and communities of practice. Considering the extent of the investigated fields, the complete validation of the model exceeded the objectives of a doctoral research. Nevertheless, the study on the ground, similar to an action-research, made it possible to start its validation. The findings confirmed the effectiveness of the model to understand in what mutual comprehension is an important difficulty and how the strategy of meaning negotiation helps to counter it. In the same way, it arises that the member’s participation legitimacy seems to influence their trust, to encourage the discovery of their identities, to support their apprenticeship of cooperation. The developed model could be useful to a project manager wishing to develop the cooperation in a team. It could also be useful for the formation, just as to begin new research

Full textMore and more often, organizations resort to work groups, so it is necessary to study the performance of work groups in the long term. Our presence in the field made it possible for us to get a two year long longitudinal study taking into account the whole of the measurable and quantifiable aspects of the setting up of work groups inside an industrial organization. We have carried out a sort of experiment as we were there before the setting up of work groups. This enabled us to collect empirical data before the organization changed and therefore, to compare them to those collected after the setting up of work groups. This research is concerned, on the one hand, with the estimation of economic factors such as production and absenteeism, the assessment of the social climate and of the parts of the individuals inside the group and, on the other hand, with the combination of those different factors

Full textThe quality of work life is an HR trend, frequently discussed in uncertain situations to deal with change. It can be defined as a multitude of positive connections that create better professional and interprofessional relationships. The action on quality of work life allows better relation between contractors and subcontractors which result in better performance. How donors of orders manage to deploy quality of work life among their subcontractors? The answer is the thread of the empirical exploration. Indeed, a pilot case study with the Orange group helps develop the difficulties of deployment. This thesis offers solutions including a theoretical model based on a through exchange with Orange and its partners which present a simplified implementation with the active participation of subcontractors. Two other complementary case studies help to deepen the expectations of subcontractors and objectives of contractors. The results show that through the theory of relational coordination, contractors could ( instead of deploying the quality of work life ), co- build and involve subcontractors in the implementation of the different approaches allowing the establishment of positive relationships at work and that both partners should aim to Orientation Knowledge Management

Full textIn a therapeutic approach with defective persons (autistics, psychotics) there is a risk for the therapeutist to loose his marks when his work on bonds is attacked. Only few thought and theorized studies are available. To fill up with this lack, this study will initially reconsider various metapsychological notions about archaic and deficit. In this research, graphic lines are considered as much as an investigation object as a methodological tool. Thus, all the tools choosen (group, graphic lines) will be studied from their base, and from their psychic and physical points of intersection. The assumption suggested here will aim at deepening thoughtfully our methodological tools, to enquire their effectiveness in the paintings / drawings device we will submit to an archaic group. The graphic lines notion will be studied as the smallest common factors in the intra and inter subjective organisation. Graphic lines, as well as physical lines, are created from a group environment. All the data are not part of the euclidien physical environment. On a methodological point of view, there will be two studies : a longitudinal study of the link between graphism and intersubjectivity (for all our clinical cases) and a work based on the analysis of paintings dealing also with archaic questions and the analysis of the bases of dreams. We will define notions of archaic group, primary intersubjectivity, inertia-carrier and figuration-carrier. Lastly, we will enquire about the therapeutic approach using notions such as psychic attractors in a fractalisationʺ process

Full textThe notion of "group" in Labour Law raises many questions, be it in connection with the very definition of this term or its juridical scope. In order to tackle this issue, it was necessary to trace the logic which led the Labour Law to identify this notion. Far from being a faithful representation of some economical phenomenon, the notion of "group" vehicles a specific juridical representation of the group which, despite undeniable contributions, shows some limit. Based on the contributions of the "pensée complexe" developped by Edgar Morin, we suggest to build an alternative juridical representation of the group, paradoxically, to specify the meaning of the notion by enriching its meaning and offer a renewed point of view on its juridical scope, which can potentially bring various solutions to recurrent juridical issues

Full textThe PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) concept is supported by tools and methods which allow to manage the product during his lifecycle. Thus, there is a lot of these methods and tools to shedule the product development, to design a CAD model, to evaluate a tool course or to evaluate the strength of the product,. . . However the link between these tools is incomplete and the methodological side is too often eclipsed. The aim of the work presented in this manuscript is to be interested in product design in the PLM. The design process becomes in a extended firm context a co-design process. Many trades take place in the co-design and the integration of the different knowledge in the digital mock-up is a very difficult problem. The number of information (functions, trades rules,. . . ) needed to parametrize the CAD model is very significant. The researches exposed in this manuscript propose a collaborative work methodology in CAD in a prime-manufacter/subcontractor relation

Since the early 1960's this category has experienced a strong numerical growth which has taken place simultaneously with the development of technicial education. However, the recruitment of young draguates as technicians - especially from the mid-70's onwards - has only partially changed conditions of entry into this category, which still remains closely linked to the working class. In addition, the category does not have any national representative body that would provide it with some cohesion and a possibility of standing as a unified group

Full textWith regards to psychosociological research work, this thesis presents the elaboration of institutional suffering and the resquest for mediation addressed to a third party by an appointed group. Also in connection to psychoanalytical researches on psychosexual perversions, it gives an account of psychosocial or narcissistic perversion and its destructive effects. The obvious features and imaginative scenario are drawn therefrom. Some subjects need to alter reality so as to avoid echoes awakened within themselves when faced with heterogeneity as well as the multiplicity of subjectivities, the self and the non-self and to protect themselves from a return to an early and catastrophic scene of social humiliation, whether this be experienced or transmitted. With this objective in mind, they search for a harmony between a primal psychosocial fantasy, an internal group, and an existing institutional scene, an external group. This pursuit can especially be detected in their renewed perverse attacks on the other or the object, or in their attempts to create task-avoidance within the group. This thesis comes within a cross-disciplinary framework, psychosociological and psychoanalytical. The basic relationship of the psyche between internal and social worlds is central here. Therefore a discussion of psychoanalytical theories and their limits is also developed. Some elaborations are based on practice and set out as many tracks for interventions or interpretations likely to hinder or otherwise elucidate or regulate the perverse drifting tendencies within groups and organizations. The following topics are discussed : epistemological questions related to the participation in an action-research or an experimental process carried out with groups in their "natural" environment, yet altered by the creation of an analytical group of observation, and issues linked to the devices used to produce verbal material and to test the hypotheses of researches on the individual or collective sense of actual experience. A critical approach of popper's criterion of the demarcation between science and non-science is dealt with

However, for being contractually committed, it is necessary to exist in right. Since that, how could the group, an ordinary economical reality, have an effect on individual situation of employer and employee ? Analysis of jurisprudence that was improved failing legislator, has revealed that would deny all part in conclusion and execution of employment contract, except to take isolation each company of corporate group in order to check if they find out in an authority link opposite employee and to possibly recognize the quality of joint employers. So, judges could remain faithful to concepts that were coming from when employer is not belong to a group and would act principles of the contract law. In return, they would lean a group when employee is notably at the risk of case of economical dismissal or physical incapacity. And even these situation, only employer of employee was been obvious to impose duty even it execution of theses ones could carry along competitive examination of others members of group. In the opposite direction, duties of employee do not benefit from only it result, exclusion of others companies of group. So, this thesis could approach individual situation of two parts in order to see if membership of companies of group would affect theirs rights and duties

Full textThis thesis entered in the area of the predictive evaluation of multi-users interface for the cooperative work in complex dynamic systems. In this thesis, a multi-users interface evaluation method is proposed: the MESC method (evaluation method of the communication support). The goal of this method is to characterize the interface capacity to aid the communication between users of the work group, when they perform a common task. MESC is a predictive and task-oriented evaluation method, the method integrate an evaluation process based on the modelisation and simulation of the two models: the cognitive communication model and the conceptual specification model of the multi-users interface. MESC is based on the speech acts theory and the cognitive communication theory of sperber and Wilson. MESC aims to usability evaluation of the communication support (that is measured in terms of mutual knowledge and mutual beliefs), because the communication is considered an important element for the cooperation. MESC is an extension and an integration of two methods: the ergonomics method of cooperative environment design and the Diane+ method. The MESC method allows to know the communication support utilisability, to determine what tasks have problems for the communication support, to reduce cycles of evaluation with users in the design phase, to evaluate conceptual specification alternatives, etc. . . On the implementation aspect, the objective of this thesis is the development of a computer. .

Full textIn organizations, the concept of distributed teamwork is more and more common. People have to coordinate their jobs to a chieve their shared goals. To do it, they shared information and they communicate, anywhere and anytime. To this purpose, we present a new model of group memory achieved through groupware. This new model includes : a survey o f the data shared by the teams and a description of how these data are processed. Three longitudinal studies in three different companies have been made. Here are the results : - group memory increases oral communication between team members. - group memory enhance electronic communication tools (messages stay permanently). - the physical model of group memory is composed by a shared data base (semantic memory and episodic memory) and by groupware tools (working memory for people)

Full textIn this research, we examine the effect of the interpersonal justice of the working group on innovative behaviors. First, we question the mediating role played by group identification in this relationship at the individual level of analysis. Next, we examine the moderating role of reflexivity on this mediation mechanism at the same level of analysis. Finally, we question the role of group identification and collective engagement at work as serial mediators of the effects of group interpersonal justice on innovative behaviors at the level of the analysis group in terms of climates of justice. Two studies were conducted to test our model. The first study was conducted among 204 Tunisian hospital employees. His results show that the indirect effect of the interpersonal justice of the working group on innovative behaviors, through identification with the group, will be moderated by the group's reflexivity. The second study was conducted with 528 students in 114 working groups. The data from this study were tested using a multi-level structural equation modeling approach. His results show the impact of the group's interpersonal justice climate on innovative individual behaviors through group identification and collective engagement at work. Theoretical and practical implications will be discussed

The principal theme of this research is the idea that the foreign language class should be-par excellence- a place for communication in which interactivity is favoured. We shall first of all analyse the concept if group in its broadest sense, in order to arrive at a study of the group-class and above all the foreign language class : the activity of teaching, the students and the relationship teacher-students. The thesis will then go on to examine the practice of group work in the foreign language class. We shall describe the group techniques and underline the advantages of this kind of approach compared with individual work. Finally, we shall present number of thoughts about the training of teachers and goreign language instructors, while identifying the overriding objective of this training : gaining the necessary competence for absorbing and personalizing the acquired skills, in order to subsequently adapt them to each group of students

Full textThis thesis propose a methodological background, adapted to the design of a mediation system for cooperative tasks, either in informatics environments for human learning, cooperative design workshops, or any other system in which cooperation plays an important roll. Two objectives have guided de definition of our methodology: the characterization of cooperative systems, to allow the identification of an adapted mediation system, and the definition of the mediation system itself. This work can be found in the intersection of two important research axes: Firstly, the research works concerning the assistance to cooperative systems utilisation, and secondly, the research works concerning the methodological elements for the design of mediation systems. The utilisation of cooperative systems requires a sufficient level of assistance to facilitate and coordinate coopering actors activities (task accomplishment and collective problem resolution). Thus we have introduced an artificial actor: the Mediator (or mediation system). In order to validate our approach, we have accomplished experimental tests wit two cooperative systems: The student project management in iPédagogique environment and the utilisation of a technical functional analysis micro-tools workshop (MO-AFT) for mechanical product design. The first this one is centred on the level of Mediator knowledge, and the second one concerns essentially the interactions specification between the actors and the mediator, and between the Mediators agents themselves, on the other hand

Full textOverall team justice refers to the perceived treatments received by team members or coworkers at work. Organizational justice has been long considered as a stable variable over time changing from one individual to another. However, empirical studies have shown that justice perceptions vary over time at both the between and the within-individual level across periods of time, from one week to another, form one day to another, and even over the course of one single day. Organizational justice has been shown to have a significant influence on different individual’s attitudes and behaviors at work such as performance, satisfaction, turnover intention, engagement and implication at work. Recently, studies have revealed that justice perceptions have also an influence on individual’s wellbeing at work. Thus, the present research examines the effect of overall team justice perceptions on wellbeing at work by using a dynamic approach, namely, the Diary Study. This research also examines the underlying mechanisms of this relationship

Full textFrom a pragmatist and ethnomethodological perspective, this thesis aims to describe the investigation on memory leaded in Villeurbanne under the aegis of « Le Rize ». This « Center memories and society », inaugurated in 2008 by the mayor Jean-Paul Bret (PS), had a mission which was summed up in one sentence : with our memories, make society. The challenge is, then, to document the sociogenetic exploration of Le Rize, using specifically the theory of inquiry of J. Dewey. "Memory" and "society", here, are no longer what the historian and sociologist theorize, define - and, often, regulate - : they are constituted as themes and as resources by the actors themselves . Le Rize then appeared as the privileged operator of a public inquiry into memory, itself long held in Villeurbanne. Based on an immersive field work, which lasted more than three years, this thesis aims to patiently follow the attachments, the collaborations between « Le Rize ». and other local actors (associations, researchers, enthusiasts, artists). These singular attachments give rise to a myriad of investigations into the category of "memory", as well as devices that make "memory" literally appear to the public view. Out of any normative aim, this thesis aims to describe what memory does, and more precisely what it does-to-us and what it makes-us-be

This analysis demonstrates to what extent nt may be a source of tension for students, which in turn may be at the root of difficulties in writing practice itself. We examine the practice of rewriting as observed in a corpus of student writing production. The writings which made up this corpus are initially analysed in terms of alteration : what are the various (formal and semantic) modifications enacted by the writer in relation to the source text ? our analysis focuses on group practice according to the level (year) of study. This sociological variable is then combined with a linguistic variable, i. E. The nature of the source : is there any difference between taking notes during a class and taking notes while reading a text ? does the level of study have an influence on the variations observed ? the second stage of our analysis of the corpus highlights the practice of individual writers. We pay particular attention to the possible links between the way the writer deals with the source text and textual consistency : thus we observe that remaining very close to the source text (in form and/or in content) or, on the contrary, distancing oneself from the source text, will have an impact on the construction of textual consistency. By examining the variations in writing attitudes among students we have also been able to determine to what extent the characteristics of the writing resulting from these attitudes have a determining influence on the appropriation of knowledge, and therefore on success or failure at university

Full textThe goal of this thesis was first to study the question of the mnesic systems dynamic and second to analyse the relationship between perception and memory processes. We based this study partly on the first memory psychologists works such as Bartlett, Burnham, Koffka, Köhler, and also on the most recent mathematical theories developed by Schöner & Kelso, Newell & Slifkin, and Riley & Turvey. By analyzing the successive reproductions of spatio-temporal configurations, we sought to identify how the information was stabilized in memory. Our results demonstrated that a structuring process was required to consolidate information in memory. We then showed that this structuring process operates at the configuration level and not at element level. This implies that the stabilisation of the information in memory is brought about by a decrease in the number of degrees of freedom that must be controlled independently. Moreover, by using the constraints applied to the system, the structuring process can directly be defined. Another experiment was to explore the relationship between visual perception and visual memory. We analyzed the role of very small variations in dot position when applied to complex versus simple patterns. Results highlighted the links between perception, memory and agentivity. Furthermore, it demonstrated the specificity of visual perception regarding visuospatial memory. To conclude the work, results were interpreted in the dynamical approach framework and auto-organized systems were presented as an alternative way to study the mnesic system

Full textThe aiming of our research is, concerning young people having undergone one to three years before a cerebral attack, following a somatic or accidental injury (consecutive with a disease or a cranial traumatism follow-ups of coma), to specify the conditions of a cultural work of psychical working - over in group, within a hospital unit. It based on work supporting three axes: that of the social representations (with what is faced the handicapped or sick adolescent in his report with the socius ; that referring to the psychological effects of the grave disease or the cranial traumatism on the adolescent ; finally work allowing to give a progress reports on work groupal of word to therapeutic and elaborative aiming, for sick or handicapped teenagers. Our principal methodological axis consists to analyse transcriptions of the groups led in hospital unit during two years, at a rate of one hour once every fifteen days. The adolescents concerned are old from 14 to 21 years, boys or girls present in the group observed during the time of their hospitalisation. We specify and discuss the requirements and necessary (methodological, clinical) for emergence of the work of development, in the device with therapeutic group, conceived for and also with the injuried teenagers, hospitalized. We believe capacity to check that the device supports or engages some teenagers in a work of objectalisation of the injury, transposition of brain injury in “psychic event” and/or expression of their lived of strangeness. In addition, the difficulties induced by the context (heavy gravely hurts, treatments, specificities of hospital operation) require true psychic groupal “transactions”

Full textRoger Cousinet (1881-1973) and Célestin Freinet (1896-1966) are major advocates of new education philosophy, a progressive ideology in education. They assert that an institution should be changed into the place which develops student's socialities. The primary objective of this study is to consider several differences of the educational methods (group study of R. Cousinet and Freinet's teaching method) and to compare and constrast their ideas : the principles and school practices of these pedagogues. The comparison is focused on school socialization. R. Cousinet and C. Freinet regard it as a final objective or educational process. The socialization is characterized by following three aspects : acculturation, personalization and individualization. According to these three processes, socialization in new education (progressive education) consists of constructing personal culture and collective life, increasing the awareness of responsibilities. The comparative analysis of these two schools of thought takes place in the two stages : observation of public school classes (class group study, class Freinet) and understanding the specifications of Cousinet's and Freinet's methods. Accordingly, how to read and interpret their literary work depends primarily on the three characteristics of their teaching and learning methods. Three elements are based on expression, interest and responsibility

Full textThe objective of this thesis is to explore the forms of the informal structure of the professional group of domestic workers in the labour market of a poor developing country. To do this, although aware of the formal structural forms and the conflicting links with this informal world, we have based most of our study tries to discover forms of institutionalization in manners that are outside of the rational legal world. We tried to discover the cultural and socioeconomic foundations of the practice of massive domestic wage work. Thus, from the perversion of the circulation of children to the present forms of exercise of the domestic wage work, we find common cultural traits from castes or traditional social classes in Senegal. However, we observe above mainly a real questioning of the forms of solidarity who had woven around traditional domestic work with the wide dissemination of the social practice of domestic wage work and the mobilization of domestic workers on labour markets, to enhance their careers and working conditions. The practice of massive domestic wage work in Senegal led to the institutionalization of its mode of exchange in labour markets belonging to the informal economy. The study of these markets reveals the structure of the group of domestic workers on the basis of their work and from that of a network of intermediaries that emerges. The result is a professional group that puts the concept of "labour markets closed" (C. Paradeise) or social closure in the neo-weberian language

Full textThe current industrial world is facing frequent changes, which are sometimes abrupt. This is due to the scientific and technical progresses and increasingly challenging needs of customers. This market variability often creates unstable work organisations and arduousness and stress factors. Therefore, manufacturers are developing methods to control and improve their processes for greater performance. Lean management and ergonomics approach are two of these approaches. But they seem not having totally demonstrated their efficiency for tackling this double issue that is industrial performance and health-at-work. The notion of global performance, which encompasses this double issue, is complex and not so easy for enterprise to manage. Thus, this research project aims at proposing a methodology for transforming organisation and controlling global performance, on the basis of a synergy between the Lean Manufacturing, the ergonomics approach and the ergomotrice one. It aims at guiding an enterprise on a progress journey built upon an evaluation process of the organisation maturity level. The Maturity Matrix in its design takes into account the main principles of the Lean Manufacturing, the ergonomics approach and the ergomotrice one. We propose a framework for change management inside a rhythmed control process allowing to transform an industrial organisation in order to achieve the enterprise strategic vision of global performance. All these research works have been tested in several companies that have been assisted by Valessentia, and more particularly inside Jean-Louis Amiotte

Full textFor many years in life and the environmental science domains (such asbiology, risk, remote sensing, etc.), observational data haveaccumulated and a great number of related applications have beenimplemented. Scientists working in these domains have to establish theirreflections and evaluations based on experimental validations, whichrequire a more or less complex workflow. The "workflow" has beenintroduced as a global and general concept, and defined as "scientificworkflow". However, the current complex systems remain difficult toaccess by scientist, whose expertise is not directly related to thedomain of computer science engineering.Within the following approach we propose a methodical solution for thisproblem. The initial hypothesis is based on the vision of an user, who conceiveshis work in three stages:1) The conception stage, which consists of constructing an abstractworkflow model;2) The intermediate stage, which represents an instantiation step of thepre-defined abstract model, by locating different existing resources inan environment, named "work context" in our approach. The definition, verification and validation of a concrete model depend on the experts'knowledge of his specialized domain and the compatibility of elements inthe model.3) The dynamic stage, which consists of establishing and executing thevalid concrete model by using a workflow execution engine. In this thesis we mainly concentrate on the different problems raised bythe first two stages (conception and intermediate). Based on an analysisof existing efforts we decline some elements such as meta model and theassociated workflow language, work context, resource graph, solution propositions for incompatible compositions. The validation for our approach has been carried out in various target domains such as biology, natural risk and remote sensing. A prototype has been developed, which provides the following functionalities:construction and saving the abstract workflow models, description and location of (data / application) resource, verification and validation of concrete workflow models
