Abstract:

W pracy zweryfikowano hipotezę, iż obecność imprez biegowych jest okolicznością sprzyjającą rozwojowi przedsiębiorczości na terenie i w sąsiedztwie parków narodowych, w obrębie których wytyczono trasy zawodów sportowych. W tekście wykorzystano dokumentacje 10 edycji Pereł Małopolskii wnioski z czynnego udziału autora w tej cyklicznej imprezie biegowej, organizowanej od 2013 r. w Pienińskim Parku Narodowym, Ojcowskim Parku Narodowym, Babiogórskim ParkuNarodowym, Tatrzańskim Parku Narodowym i Gorczańskim Parku Narodowym. Perły Małopolski to nie tylko wydarzenie sportowe, lecz także nowatorski produkt na rynku usług turystycznych. W imprezie biorą udział zarówno wewnętrzni odbiorcy, czyli gospodarze i mieszkańcy jednostek,przez które przebiega trasa biegu, jak i zewnętrzni uczestnicy: biegacze, ich rodziny, turyści, przedsiębiorcy. Cykl ten stał się więc ważnym czynnikiem kształtowania pozytywnego wizerunku danego miejsca. W opracowaniu wykazano duże rezerwy w możliwościach włączania się w opisaną inicjatywę podmiotów lokalnych, znajdujące potwierdzenie w szerszej grupie opracowań nad klimatem dla rozwoju przedsiębiorczości turystycznej w Małopolsce. Cykl Perły Małopolski jest przykładem relacji organizator – lokalny gospodarz, w której władze lokalne, przedsiębiorcy i zarządzający obszarem chronionym stopniowo otwierają się na innowacyjne formy użytkowania i gospodarowania, postrzegając je jako szanse a nie zagrożenie.

Abstract:

Between its launch in March 2002 and 2013, BBC4, the BBC's niche arts and culture digital channel, broadcast a cycle of biographical dramas, largely about the unhappy personal lives of British cultural and political icons of the twentieth century. Alongside stylish continental European drama imports, world cinema and documentary programmes, biopics became a key marker of the BBC4 brand and its dominant home-grown dramatic output. In scholarly work on television biopics to date, the genre has been seen as akin to tabloid newspapers, conceived as a trashy cultural form that reduces the importance and seriousness of biographical narrative. However, in recent years biographical drama has been used by upmarket television brands like HBO, Showtime or, indeed, the BBC as a mark of distinction and respectability. This article analyses this dynamic in relation to BBC biopics, exploring how a specific dramatic genre is used to reinforce the brand image of a niche digital channel. It focuses not only on the benefits of such material for attracting both within and beyond the channel's intended demographic, but also on certain of the ethical and legal challenges intrinsic to a genre that exploits the personal stories of real people.

Przeprowadzono wielokryterialne studium zastosowania zasobnikowych zespołów trakcyjnych na częściowo zelektryfikowanej linii Gdynia Główna - Hel. Rozpatrzono zastosowanie używanych obecnie spalinowych oraz jako alternatywę, elektrycznych i elektrycznych zespołów trakcyjnych z zasobnikiem (magazynem) energii elektrycznej. Analizę przeprowadzono w oparciu o trzy kryteria oceny wariantów obsługi trasy, tj. kryterium środowiskowe, ekonomiczne eksploatacyjne oraz ekonomiczne inwestycyjne. Do analizy opracowano wielokryterialny model decyzyjny i przeprowadzono analizę porównawczą rozpatrywanych wariantów obsługi trasy Gdynia Główna - Hel. W ramach kryterium środowiskowego stwierdzono, iż najprzyjaźniejszym dla środowiska naturalnego jest zastosowanie zasobnikowych zespołów trakcyjnych. W ramach kryterium ekonomicznego eksploatacyjnego wykazano, że najniższymi kosztami eksploatacji charakteryzują się pojazdy zasobnikowe. Analiza w ramach kryterium kosztu inwestycji wykazała, że najniższymi kosztami inwestycji cechuje się obsługa trasy przy zastosowaniu zespołów spalinowych. Najwyższe koszty inwestycji związane są z obsługą trasy przez klasyczne zespoły elektryczne, co wiąże się z całkowitą elektryfikacją linii.

Este ensayo argumenta la posibilidad de que la arquitectura ya no sobreviva como objeto –edificio– sino como documento, como historia. Contado a través de un dilema desenterrado por una carta de Margot Wellington a Gordon Matta-Clark, se presenta la relación entre el archivo, la arquitectura y las artes. En este sentido, se pone en duda la temporalidad de la arquitectura, ya que su historia puede ser reproducida y recreada a través de los documentos y páginas que se encuentran en el archivo, lo cual deja la pregunta abierta de qué fue primero, el edificio o el documento.

The described route is a water connection between Bydgoszcz and Łabiszyn, a small town located approximately 34 km south of the large agglomeration of Bydgoszcz. The waterway connection follows the course of the Bydgoszcz Canal and the Upper Noteć Canal. Both of these watercourses contain hydraulic structures of historic significance, as well as small modern hydroelectric plants, used commercially for power production. Due to many years of neglect, the area is not currently used economically or by tourists. The authors of the article, by highlighting selected tourist attractions and educational assets, and by coining the name ‘Small Hydroelectric Plants Trail’ intend to generate interest among the regional authorities in the process of revitalizing the presented route. They also want to promote water tourism, educational tourism and student tourism, which may be included in physical education curricula, especially in part-time study programmes

The article analyses Max Weber’s position regarding the so-called Polish question from the point of view of post-colonial theory. The author discusses the circumstances of Weber’s scientific interest in the Polish question and offers an interpretation of his statements in this regard. Then, she moves on to explore the relationship between this early inspiration and the subsequent development of Weber’s comparative historical sociology, whereupon follows an outline of its post-colonial criticism. The article concludes with a suggestion of applying the author’s approach to studying the post-communist transformation and transitological debates in Poland.

Artykuł przedstawia modyfikacje algorytmów wyszukiwania Ğcieżki w grafie mające na celu wprowadzenie ograniczeń: czasowych lub odległościowych do znalezionej trasy. Zmodyfikowane zostały dwa algorytmy: A* oraz BFS. Zaproponowana została również modyfikacja algorytmu A*, która łączy atuty tych dwóch algorytmów – wygenerowanie najkrótszych tras o jak najmniejszej liczbie wierzchołków. Zmodyfikowane algorytmy umożliwią stworzenie aplikacji pozwalającej na łatwiejsze i bardziej oszczędne poruszanie się z wykorzystaniem usług typu rower miejski.

The paper presents results from simulation analysis of the western 3rd ring road project in the city of Krakow (i.e. Trasa Lagiewnicka, Trasa Pychowicka and Trasa Zwierzyniecka), performed in the macroscopic model of transport system in the Krakow metropolitan area. Simulation works reveal shifts in traffic flows and changes in urban transport network performance which would likely take place after the stage-wise construction of consecutive 3rd ring road western sections. Results indicate that the analysed road schemes would indeed have a relevant impact upon travel conditions, though in initial stages these would be rather limited and confined to the southern part of the city. Therefore, completion of the whole western section of the 3rd ring road is crucial to its overall effectiveness and would only then bring substantial benefits on a city-wide scale. Simulation works seem to confirm that the future 3rd ring road would become an essential and highly-utilised link in the urban road network and would provide a much more efficient connection between the northern and southern parts of the Krakow city. However, apart from the projected benefits, it is also important to underline potential negative implications – and consequently, further changes in city transport system should envisage reduction of the road network capacity within the inner-city area. This would then provide the best possible chance of fostering the improvements achieved with the 3rd ring road scheme: i.e., positive changes in accessibility and travelling conditions across the whole city and long-term, sustainable traffic congestion relief in the inner-city Krakow area.

Abstract:

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo construir y caracterizar un destilador solar de una vertiente (DSV) para desalar agua de mar con superficie reflectora, bajo las condiciones meteorológicas de la ciudad de Tacna, utilizando la energía solar; en la construcción se utilizaron materiales locales. Las dimensiones internas del destilador son de 80 cm de altura en la parte trasera, 35 cm de altura en la parte frontal, 75 cm de ancho, 135 cm de largo, cámara de volumen de 0,58 m3, laterales y fondo de 3 cm de espesor, el cobertor tiene una inclinación de 30° y área de 1,35 m x 0,8 m (1,08 m2). Se colocaron depósitos para colectar el agua destilada en las cuatro paredes del sistema, un espejo en la parte trasera como reflectante y sensores de temperatura para la caracterización térmica. Durante un día con un volumen de 25 litros de agua salada en la cubeta se obtuvo 2,19 litros de agua destilada, en el cobertor de vidrio 1,12 litros (51,12 %), pared lateral izquierda 0,52 litros de (23,75 %) y 0,55 litros de la pared lateral derecha (25,23 %), la pared reflectante aislada no condensó vapor de agua; la concentración de sal del agua de mar de un valor inicial de 41,3 bajó a 0,004 gramos de sal/litro del agua, en tanto que el pH de 7,87 y 7,03. El rendimiento de destilación en las paredes verticales laterales de vidrio fue de 3,05 l/m2 día, mayor que el cobertor inclinado 30° de vidrio igual a 0,75 l/m2día, aproximadamente en cuatro veces respecto al cobertor inclinado en 30°. Los resultados indicaron que el DSV es una buena alternativa para destilar agua de mar a pequeños volúmenes por día, a bajo costo para consumo humano y otros usos, en el caso de requerir mayores volúmenes de agua destilada se pueden usar los sistemas en forma modular.

Abstract:

«Dones i terres catalanes medievals» és un estudi de llarga durada, a l’espai de la Catalunya Vella i la Nova. Les dones, majoritàriament, són dones amb poder: primer les feminae, després les dominae. Un poder que es palesa en l’assumpció de les polítiques masculines, però que, alhora, traspua autoritat, refl ectida en les polítiques femenines. L’objectiu principal, doncs, ha estat refl exionar sobre el rol de les dones al camp català als segles X-XIII.La metodologia emprada és la pròpia de la recerca històrica feminista, a més dels mètodes empírics clàssics: recull de dades arxivístiques, sistematització, tractament, comparació, exposició de resultats. Pel que fa a l’estat de la qüestió bibliogràfi ca, no hi ha referències per a l’època i l’òptica triada; per tant, aquesta anàlisi s’ha construït prenent com a base fonts primàries d’arxiu.

Abstract:

Šumske ceste su osnovni preduvjet za održivo upravljanje šumskim resursima. Te ceste uključuju složene inženjerske napore, jer mogu izazvati znatnu ekološku štetu šumama i uključuju vrlo skupu izgradnju. Stoga pri izrada trasa šumskih cesta, treba uzeti u obzir i utjecaj na okoliš. Da bi se to i napravilo, geografski informacijski sustav (GIS) s tehnikama prostornog višekriterijskog donošenja odluka (S-MCDM) koristan je alat za izradu modela. Jedan takav S-MCDM je prostorno-integrirana tehnika preferiranja sličnosti do idealnog rješenja (S-TOPSIS). U ovoj studiji S-TOPSIS primijenjen je za integriranje ekoloških učinaka u izradu trase šumske ceste. Korištenjem sadašnje trase šumske ceste (CFOR) te S-TOPSIS metode na temelju GIS-a, utvrđena je ekološki osjetljiva trasa šumske ceste (ESFOR) prema ekološkim kriterijima. Za usporedbu korišteno je pet ekoloških kriterija (lavina, rijeka, tlo, geologija, nagib). Rezultati dobiveni iz analiza uspoređeni su sa sadašnjom trasom šumske ceste. Dužina CFOR-a je 15.385 km dok je ESFOR utvrđen S-TOPSIS-om bio 14.385 km. Da se razlike u dužini između dviju cesta pomnože sa širinom ceste (1 km x 5 m) rezultat bi bio 0,5 ha. Rezultati su pokazali da ova metodologija može pružiti ekološki osjetljivu mrežu cesta, te može pomoći u bržoj izradi i biti jeftinija. Ovi rezultati sugeriraju da metoda prostorne procjene višestrukim kriterijima može biti točnija u smislu izrade ekološki osjetljivih šumskih cesta u planinskim područjima.
