Abstract:
He article discusses the current state and trends in the development of the sharing economy as a business model. Initially, the sharing economy assumed an exchange between people, but businessmen quickly learned to use the growing popularity of the trend. Companies began to provide platforms for sharing goods. The growing number of mobile and online platforms that effectively connect people who have underutilized assets with people who want to use them, allows you to advertise and sell products widely. In the sharing economy, the role of the consumer is changing to a two-way one, with consumers acting as buyers and suppliers of resources.By “sharing economy” the author understands such a social model, where there is a conscious rejection of private property in favor of collective, and this refusal is associated not with a lack of money, but with a desire to expand their capabilities. The economy of shared consumption today affects most areas of everyday life, changing the methods of transportation (Uber app, BlaBlaCar, Delimobil), living conditions in travel (on Airbnb), ways of entertainment (Netflix and YouTube, etc.), performing tasks (TaskRabbit itself), financing (Kickstarter), etc.Continuing the research, the author found that a number of prerequisites influenced the emergence and development of this business model, for example, the development of the Internet, a change in thinking in favor of a more open and trusting (for example, a trip with strangers to the BlaBlaCar site), a lack of desire to save for a long time to purchase property, urbanization, etc.

Abstract:
Pure monopoly (supply side monopoly), where against one seller of particular products which doesn't have close substitutes stand many buyers, as well as the market state of a pure monopsony (demand side monopoly) are theoretical models. In practice such market conditions is hard to find. The aim of this paper is to point out the problem of the equilibrium of an enterprise in the conditions when one company with a monopsonic position on a market of inputs sells its product only to one firm which has a monopoly position in the market of its output, which actually means solving the problem of equilibrium of the enterprise in the conditions of bilateral monopoly. By integrating these enterprises, the market condition of the bilateral monopoly is going to be transformed into a new structure, well-known as the market state of the monemporium. The integrated enterprise has an extremely strong market power manifested through both on the side of selling its output and on the procurement of production inputs. The problem of the equilibrium of such an enterprise and the economic implications, especially those that have a reflection on the level of profit, are a particular area of interests in this paper.

The trasformation of the moder society is often considered through the analysys of developing and modernizing countries that are undergoing transitional socio-economic conditions and stages of radical transformation of socio-political structures. At the same time, it is often overlooked that the development of many countries also went through periods of modernization, which included evolutionary and revolutionary transformations. This article will consider different approaches to the socio-philisophical analysis of the modern society transformation with the aim to structure current and historical knowledge of this matter.

Abstract:
The article discusses changing research orientations in contemporary human geography. Emphasis is given to diversification of concepts and approches in postpositivistic geography. General tendencies in contemporary orientations in human geography affect strongly current developments in the Czech social geography. Due to dramatic changes in the Czech society after the political changes of 1989, the Czech geography has been confronted with a new great theme of "geography of societal trasformation". In this context, however, some critical remarks must also be made: an one-side "import" of concepts and approaches from social sciences, further weakening of specificity of human geography, and a new emphasis given to differences between physical and human geography.

Abstract:
Among natural resistance mechanisms to plant pathogens, cultivar resistance has been extensively used in plant breeding to introduce what can be defined as “conventional” resistance to a number of them, including viruses. The necessity of overcoming the constraints of genetic incompatibility, so as to widen the range of possibile use of genetic control of infectious agents, has propitiated the utilization of biotechnological procedures, whereby “non conventional” or transgenic resistance was developed. Transgenic resistance to plant viruses encompasses the identification, cloning and tranferring into the recipient host of single viral genes, which gives rise to what is known as “pathogen-derived resistance” (PDR). Of the hypothesized mechanisms underlying expression of PDR, post-transcriptional gene silencing has been most extensively investigated in recent years. Despite of the success that virus-resistant cropping of transgenic plants begins to enjoy, in Europe there is still a widespread sentiment against agricultural biotechnologies and the use of genetically modified plants in particular. Yet, experimental evidence is accumulating that, in the case of PDR, the feared risks associated with genetic trasformation are minimal, if not negligible

Abstract:
AbstractThis paper describes a study of the hydraulic reactions between metakaolin (MK) and air lime using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR). Tests were carried out at 20, 25 and 30°C on lime-MK pastes with 10:1 w/w ratio. Tests over 28 days allowed identification of relevant changes in the EIS signals and characterization of pastes using thermal analysis (TGA/DSC), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP) and uni-axial compressive tests. Tests over shorter periods of time (up to 42 h) allowed more detailed studies of the hydraulic phases formed at the very beginning of the reactions. Results of thermal analyses demonstrate formation of hydraulic compounds such as CSH, C4AH13 and C3ASH6 and show their evolution over time. MIP analysis demonstrates changes in pore size distribution related to the formation and trasformation of hydraulic phases. Variations of impedance response with time are shown to be associated with reaction kinetics. Changes in the NMR signal within the first 42 h of reaction are shown to be associated with the dissolution of calcium hydroxide in the pore solution. Overall, this paper demonstrates the importance of NMR in the study of hydraulic reactions in lime based materials and the ability of EIS to detect the formation of hydraulic compounds and the end of the calcium hydroxide dissolution process.

Abstract:
Green tea is the second-most consumed beverage in the world (water is the first one) and has been used medicinally for centuries in Indiaand China. The active substances in the green tea are polyphenols (catechins) and flavonols which possess a potent antioxidant activity. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is one of the four major green tea catechins. Using the Ames test, micronucleus test, comet assay, chemiluminescence test, and blastic transformation test, we examined the antimutagenic effects of chemoprotective substance epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) in the pure form on the mutagenicity induced by three reference mutagens: aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), 2-amino-3-methylimidazo [4,5-f] qui-noline (IQ), and N-nitroso-N-methylurea (MNU), and the effect of EGCG on the immunosuppression caused by these mutagens. Using the Ames test the dose dependent antimutagenic activity of EGCG was proved against indirect mutagens AFB1 and IQ, but not against the direct mutagen MNU. In the micronucleus test, EGCG had antimutagenic effect upon all three mutagens. EGCG decreased the level of DNA breaks induced by AFB1 in bone marrow cells and colon epithelium, and the level of DNA breaks induced by MNU in colon cells to the level found in control. The reparatory effect of EGCG on immunosupression induced by all three carcinogenic compounds was proved using chemiluminescence and blastic trasformation tests.

Abstract:
Abstract OBJECTIVE Enterogenous cysts (ECs) of the central nervous system are developmental malformations that occur in the spinal canal, posterior fossa, or cerebral hemispheres. They are usually benign lesions, and malignant transformation is rare. To date, only three cases of malignant transformation have been reported in the literature. We present a case of a cerebellopontine EC showing foci of epithelial dysplasia and malignant transformation into a low-grade papillary mucinous adenocarcinoma. CLINICAL PRESENTATION A 25 year-old man with a 6-year history of hypoacusia presented to our department with facial nerve deficit, visual disturbances, and gait instability. A magnetic resonance imaging scan demonstrated a multiloculated cerebellopontine angle cyst with supratentorial hydrocephalus. INTERVENTION A retrosigmoidal approach was used to achieve cyst removal. This was followed several months later by ventriculoperitoneal shunt placement. The cyst was adherent to the brainstem, cranial nerves, and vessels, and it resembled a thin encapsulated structure filled with mucinous-like substance. No solid component was identified. Histopathological examination revealed an EC with foci of malignant transformation in a mucinous papillary adenocarcinoma. Magnetic resonance imaging was performed 5 months postoperatively due to progressive clinical worsening; this scan revealed lesion recurrence with severe brainstem compression. Emergency surgery was performed, and a large decompression was achieved. Subsequent follow-up computed tomographic scans showed progression of the residual tumor. The patient's neurological condition rapidly worsened, ultimately resulting in death. CONCLUSION The present report suggests that a careful histological examination of all ECs after surgery should be made to exclude dysplastic foci or carcinomatous transformation. Although the clinical behavior of ECs with malignant trasformation is unpredictable, surgery remains the treatment of choice. The use of possible adjuvant chemo- or radiotherapy has not been established.

Abstract:
Well-being is a psycho-social construct, built through life skills and is central to sustainability, enabling personal resources to be activated in order to be ethical agents of change as foreseen by the Green Comp (Bianchi, Pisiotis, & Cabrera Giraldez, 2022). A university teaching approach, which is linked to these two frameworks of skills is transformative learning, can make subjects capable of transformative agency within the classroom and in professional contexts (Engeström, 2016). The article proposes the modelling experience of the Training and Guidance models for the Green Transition course, in CDLM 57/85 of the University of Florence based on these assumptions.

Abstract:

Abstract:
My paper deals with the topic “Physis in a post-Heideggerianphilosophy of technology”, by interpreting it as two topics or questions. By doing so, I have the opportunity to present two related sides of my philosophical work. The first side consists in a several years historical and theoretical work on the philosophy of technology, whichculminates in the proposal of a Philosophy of Technology in the Nominative Case (TECNOM). The second side is more recent and has to do with the philosophical implications of the Anthropocene and culminates in its reinterpretation/redefinition as Technocene. The two topics/questions around which move these pages are the following: 1) whatis (whathasbecome) the post-Heideggerianphilosophy of technology? 2) whatis the peculiar interpretation of physis in ourage (the idea of nature) expressed by the Anthropocene? With reference to the first question, in the Part I (After Heidegger, Beyond Heidegger. The Empirical Turn in the Philosophy of Technology) I will sketch an overview on the most recent developments in this area of studies, or better, a critical historicization of the post-Heideggerianphilosophy of technology, starting from the so-called empirical turn. My thesis is that the empirical turn gradually turned in to an ontophobic turn, namely a rejection of Heidegger’s legacy, which has produced a philosophical lack/deficit in the philosophy of technology, namely its genetivization. Ascountermovement against this ontophobic turn (i.e. as first step for the establishment of a “philosophy of technology in the nominative case”) I suggest a Heidegger-renaissance in the philosophy of technology.Moving from Heidegger’s assumption according to which the technischesZeitalter establishes the death of physis/nature, that is its definitive trasformation in to an object (Gegenstand) or standing-reserve (Bestand), in the Part II (After Physis, Beyond Physis. The Pet-ification of Nature)I will highlight a new form of reification of nature. This is the Pet-ification of Nature, a trans-objectualreification of it which takes place in the Anthropocene. More than a new geological epoch, with “Anthropocene” I mean the entelechy of the age of technology and thisiswhy I propose to call it Techno-cene. In the pet-ification of nature I see the accomplishment of the “disenchantment of the world” (Weber) as goal of the whole modernity. Pet-ification of nature’s main out come consists in an ethical paradox: the Paradox of Omni-responsibility, namely the overcoming of Hans Jonas’s imperative of responsibility as an ethical standard for philosophical thought over recent decades.

Abstract:
Young people, future, endless worlds are the key words that question the professional epistemology of the university faculty and the university itself as an organization. The thesis: the title intercepts the core problem that the academic community has been investigating for the recent years, namely the professionals who work within the organization called university. University right now is addressing the prefiguration of possible futures for itself as organization of research and training for the students. One of the main missions of higher education system is to prepare young people to face the challenges of the future. The question we want to stress here is how the university is gearing up to be an active agent in promoting the trajectories of the future society. And above all which conditions could hinder or facilitate its role of agency-orientation (Rieckmann, 2011).

Abstract:
This paper develops the analysis of properties of the cellular automata class introduced by the authors. It is assumed that the set of automaton cells is finite and forms a closed lattice, and there are two states for each automaton cell. We consider a new concept. This concept is the average velocity of a cellular automaton, which characterizes the average intensity of changes in the states of the automaton’s cells for a given initial state. The automaton velocity is equal to 1 if the state of any cell changes at each step. The spectrum of average velocities of a cellular automaton is the set of average velocities for different initial states. Since the state space is finite, the automaton, starting from a certain moment of time, is in periodically repeating states of a cycle, and thus, the research of the velocity spectrum is related to the problem of studying the set of the automaton cycles. For elementary cellular automata, the introduced class consists of a subclass of automata such that the conjugation trasformation of an automaton is the automaton itself (Subclass A) or the reflection of the automaton (Subclass B). For this class, it is proved that the spectrum of the automaton contains the value v0 if and only if the spectrum of the complementary automaton contains the value 1−v0 (the sum of the index of elementary cellular automaton and the complementary automaton is 255). For automata of Subclasses A and B, the set of cycles and the velocity spectrum are studied. For Subclass A, a theorem has been proved such that in accordance with this theorem, if two automata complementary to each other start evolving in the same initial state, then the sum of their average velocities is equal to 1. This theorem for Subclass A is generalized to cellular automata, invariant under the conjugation transformation, of more general type than elementary automata. Generalizations of the theorem have been given for the class of one-dimensional cellular automata with a neighborhood containing 2r+1 cells (the next state of the cell depends on the present states of this cell, r cells on the left and r cells on the right) and for some traditionally considered classes of two-dimensional automata. Some elementary cellular automata belonging to the class considered in the paper can be interpreted as transport models. The properties of the spectra for these automata are studied and compared with the properties of elementary cellular automata not invariant under the considered transformations and can also be interpreted as transport models. The analytical results obtained for these simple models can be used to study the qualitative properties and limiting behavior of more complex transport models.

Abstract:
The synthesis of provitamin D analogue 19-(phenylsulfonyl)androsta-5,7-diene-3β,17β-diyl 3-acetate 17-pivalate (20) has been accomplished from 19-hydroxyandrost-5-ene-3β,17β-diyl 3-acetate 17-pivalate. 19-(Phenylsulfonyl)androst-5-ene-3β,17β-diyl 3-acetate 17-pivalate (10), a precursor of 20, was first obtained in low yield in the nucleophilic displacement reactions of 19-halogenated-5-ene steroids with sodium benzenesulfinate. Then a more efficient method has been used, which involves protection of the double bond as an epoxide. Introduction of the C(7)-C(8) double bond into olefin 10 has been also achieved in two ways. The first involved bromination-dehydrobromination and the other consisted of an allylic oxidation of olefin 10 leading to enone and the Bamford-Stevens reaction of its tosylhydrazone. UV irradiation of 5,7-diene 20 resulted in formation of a complex mixture of products. The structures of five isolated compounds were established on the basis of their 1H NMR spectra and mechanistic rationale.
