Abstract This paper is divided into three parts. The first part addresses the main tenets of Husserl ‘s conception of formal logic, its different levels and its relationship with formal mathematics and formal ontology. It will, therefore, undertake a delimitation of the logical domain, in its autonomy, taking as its point of departure the presentation Husserl makes of this subject in his works of maturity, particularly in Forma/e und. transzendentale Logik. The second ·part shows why, for phenomenology, the analysis of objective logical configurations has to be completed by a subjective analysis of the intentional achievements in which these configurations have their genesis. ln other words, we will try to ground such an autonomy in. the very nature of logical reason. Finally, the third and last part, following the text of the first two sections of Erfahrung und Urteil, adresses the roots of the logical-categorical activity in the ante-predicative passive experience.

›Ikonen‹ sind heute nicht mehr nur die Ikonen der christlichen Kirche, sondern vor allem die Ikonen der modernen Massenkultur. Beide Arten von Ikonen werden in der neueren Kunstreflexion aufgegriffen: Kunst gilt entweder, verstanden als Erbin der religiösen Ikone, als Phänomen, das Absolutes in singulärer Weise anschaulich er- fahrbar macht. Oder aber die Kunst gilt umgekehrt lediglich als Klasse in der Welt der säkularen Ikonen. Demgegenüber wird im Beitrag erstens die These vertretenwerden, daß die neuere Kunst sowohl Aspekte transzendenter als auch immanenter Ikonen umfaßt. Zugleich ist es aber, so die zweite These, für unser Kunstverständnis charakteristisch, ein theoretisches Kontrastverhältnis zwischen Kunst und Ikone an- zunehmen. Dieses gründet auf einer spezifischen Reflexivität der Kunst, durch die sie sich von der Ikone beiderlei Art kategorial unterscheidet. Today, the word ›icon‹ usually no longer refers to the icons of the Christian church, but to the icons of the modern mass-culture. Both sorts of icons play a key-role in the recent discussion about art: Either art is supposed to be a descendant of the religious icon, a phenomenon that gives us a singular visual experience of the Absolute. On the other hand, art is supposed to be just one class among others in the wide world of the secular icons. In contrast to these two positions this essay contends that modern art comprehends aspects of transcendent as well as of immanent icons. Furthermore, it argues that at the same time it is characteristic for our notion of art to suppose a contrast between art and icon. This contrast is based on a specific reflectivity of art, which marks a categorical difference between art and both sorts of icons.

Die Möglichkeit der Erfahrung kann nach Kant nur im immanenten Denken vertanden werden, daß die (in der Erfahrung) immanenten Formen der Erkenntnis überhaupt allererst die (in der Erfahrung) immanenten Gegenstände derselben möglich machen sollten. Die Transzendentalphilosophie Kants ist also die lediglich auf diesem immanenten Denken beruhende, d.i., immanente Philosophie. Sie ist aber in der Tat durch ganze Geschichte der Interpretation hindurch von Fichte über cohen und Husserl bis Kaulbach im Gegenteil doch als die auf dem transzendenten Denken (das die Transzendenz von der Erfahrung billigt) beruhende, d.i., tranzendente Philosophie verstanden worden. Die bisherige tranzendente Kantinterpretaion ist jedoch angesichts der schwierigen Probleme ohnmächtig und kann die Kritik der reinen Verunft als ein einheitliches System nicht auffassen. Diese Probleme kann erst unsere immanente Interpretation ohne Schwierigkeit lösen und auch den gegenwärtigen Naturwissenschaften einen bestimmten Platz in der Erfahung Kants geben, welches bisher unmöglich bleibt. Die Philosophien vor und nach Kant sind insgesamt die transzendente im Vergleich mit der alleinigen immanach Kant sind insgesamt die transzendente im Vergleich mit der alleinigen immanenten Philsophie Kants. Und in bezug auf die Möglichkeit der Erfahrung muß die transzendente von der immanenten Philosophie abhëngig sein.
