Abstract:
The common denominator of some of the questions and problems raised by the reviewers is represented by the new technological revolution, the role of AI in this revolution, and their impact on the world today. No one doubts the fact that we are living the greatest transformation of the information environment since Gutenberg’s printing press. Nevertheless, as John Naughton emphasized, “we’re as clueless about where it’s heading and what’s driving it as the citizens of Mainz were in 1495” (Naughton, 2019). Four centuries have passed since then; during this time, the printing press shaped society and thinking, introduced new forms of communication, occasioned a massive improvement in the general population’s level of education, made public schools and the mass dissemination of knowledge possible. It radically influenced everything. Now, we are at the dawn of a new era, one which will lead to least as many transformations as print did.

Abstract:
AbstractZen students described their experiences when working with koans, and a phenomenological method was used to identify the structure of those experiences. Zen koans are statements or stories developed in China and Japan by Zen masters in order to help students transform their conscious awareness of the world. Eight participants including 3 females and 5 males from Southern California with 1 to 30 years of experience in Zen answered open-ended questions about koan practice in one tape-recorded session for each participant. Reflection yielded the following thematic clusters: (a) motivation, (b) approaches to working with koans, (c) experiences while working with koans, (d) experiences of insight into koans, (e) working with a teacher, and (f) transformation. Participants described positive transformations including better control of emotions and concentration, better awareness of prejudices and biases with the ability to suppress those types of habitual associations, and a new relation to and acceptance of spiritual questions and doubts.

Full text
Abstract:
We show that the electronic spectrum in graphene, not unlike in other low-dimensional systems, can manifest a sharp impurity resonance near the Dirac point due to the presence of a single weakly coupled impurity described by the Fano model. It is demonstrated that, according to the established scenario, the electronic band structure of graphene undergoes a kind of transformation, specifically of the avoided crossing type, when the concentration of such short-range impurities increases. In this transformation process, main events unfold close to the impurity resonance energy, and, therefore, they relate to the most intriguing domain of the energy spectrum of graphene. The avoided crossing transformation develops in a threshold manner. Namely, it starts when the impurity concentration exceeds a critical value determined by the considerable spatial overlap of individual impurity states. Unlike former cases of such band structure transformations in low-dimensional systems, our findings unveil the formation of a new—impurity—Dirac point in the spectrum alongside the original shifted one, which doubles their number in the disordered system. The resulting electronic spectrum also features a single worthy of attention concentration broadening area or mobility gap of a substantially reduced width around the impurity resonance energy. Band edge smearing areas at old and newly formed Dirac points, where electronic states are also localized, are found to be negligibly narrow. Our analysis suggests that controlling the position of the Fermi level in the disordered system under study may allow observation of the re-entrant metal–insulator transition. The Fermi level entering and exiting the mobility gap causes the metal–insulator and insulator–metal transitions.

Abstract:
The problem of the evolution of power as an indicator of structural transformations has been considered. An analysis of Russian practice allows us to draw a number of conclusions of interest to political science. A retrospective analysis of the evolution of power types provides additional knowledge about the political process and reveals an important political and managerial aspect for this study. Attention has been focused on the structural transformation of the current government. The interdependence of the subject of power and the object of power determines their interaction. It can be different (conflict, consensus, close) and characteristic of a certain type of political system (absolute and constitutional monarchy, presidential and parliamentary, presidential-parliamentary, confederative, federal republic). Monarchist rule with elements of coercion is doomed to conflict interaction, which predetermined the half-heartedness of all reforms in the Russian Empire. The traditional legitimization of power did not contribute to the improvement of interaction. Soviet rule, effective in mobilizing society, with real achievements, did not escape a critical number of negative indexes. Almost one hundred percent legitimization of the Soviet government did not remove doubts about its strength. The democratic legitimization of power requires it to implement a program of transformations in the system of power and society. The evolution of power is an accurate indicator of transformations in society. Political structuring remains the prerogative of the current government. Difficulties in the implementation of the program force the government to shift attention to maintaining stability in society.A well-structured power is a condition for its effective functioning. The efficiency of power (fighting corruption, ensuring of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth, solving social problems, etc.) is due to its ability to respond adequately to challenges and find consensus in decision-making in political turbulence.

Abstract:
Abstract Zabłocie is a Krakow’s post-industrial neighbourhood currently in transition. Numerous investments are being made there. The old industrial function (of this area) is disappearing year by year. Dynamic and large-scale transformations began in the 21st century and have continued to the present, influencing the functional-spatial transformation. Rapid changes have resulted in numerous problems that may intensify in the future. The annually increasing change seen in the Zabłocie neighbourhood, and the emerging doubts about the correctness of the changes taking place, make it necessary to undertake a thorough analysis and evaluation of the regeneration process. The purpose of the article is to present the conditions, barriers and perspectives accompanying the development of Zabłocie. An attempt was made to identify problems related to the ongoing functional and spatial changes occurring in Zabłocie. Emphasis was given to both the positive and negative aspects of the regeneration process in this area. The identification of the transformations that occurred made it possible to define contemporary problems. The following were distinguished as falling amongst the main problems: obscure planning and strategic documents, the lack of preservation of valuable facilities, planning chaos, special conflicts of interest (between developers, investors, residents and city authorities), the lack of parking lots, the occurrence of the gentrification phenomenon, and a shortage of public green spaces. A key task should be to take action to improve the way the area functions so that in the future it has positive associations. It was emphasised that the development and transformation processes do not always have a positive effect. In the case of Zabłocie, it is necessary to fully control this process in order to prevent the formation of negative phenomena in the future. In the coming years the research results obtained may have a positive impact on the anticipation and monitoring of the progressive regeneration of this area and will enable the occurrence of negative aspects to be identified. The results of the research may be useful during the analysis of the process of regeneration and the identification of problems in other cities.

Abstract:
We give a review and some new relations on the structure of the monodromy algebra (also called loop algebra) associated with a quasitriangular Hopf algebra H. It is shown that as an algebra it coincides with the so-called braided group constructed by S. Majid on the dual of H. Gauge transformations act on monodromy algebras via the coadjoint action. Applying a result of Majid, the resulting crossed product is isomorphic to the Drinfeld double [Formula: see text]. Hence, under the so-called factorizability condition given by N. Reshetikhin and M. Semenov–Tian–Shansky, both algebras are isomorphic to the algebraic tensor product H ⊗ H. It is indicated that in this way the results of Alekseev et al. on lattice current algebras are consistent with the theory of more general Hopf spin chains given by K. Szlachányi and the author. In the Appendix the multi-loop algebras ℒm of Alekseev and Schomerus [3] are identified with braided tensor products of monodromy algebras in the sense of Majid, which leads to an explanation of the "bosonization formula" of [3] representing ℒm as H ⊗…⊗ H.

Abstract:
This article focuses on the translation of Michelangelo Buonarroti’s fifth sonnet by Vyacheslav Ivanov in 1925. The sources used include the translated text and the manuscript of the original text, accompanied by the author’s drawing. Comparative analysis results of Ivanov’s translation and a literal translation by the authors are presented. It emphasizes Michelangelo’s original concept related to deforming the sonnet form (20 lines instead of 14, with two additional tercets added), resonating with the sonnet’s content, specifically describing his physical sufferings and uncomfortable poses while painting the Sistine Chapel ceiling. Attention is given to the author’s drawing, highlighting the division of the lyrical subject and his doubts about the effectiveness of his work. Commentary is provided on Vyacheslav Ivanov’s translation decisions for this sonnet, linked to his poetic and aesthetic principles. A symbolist interpretation of the sonnet’s key antithesis is explored: Michelangelo portrays the lyrical subject as a “Syrian bow” (a phrase denoting a bow that never misses) and a “crooked crossbow”, interpreting his doubts through images of projectile weapons overcoming him. The translator interprets this antithesis through the classical contrast of “poet and crowd”, indicating that the artist fears condemnation and requires protection.

Abstract:

Abstract:
This research explored the experiences of healing and transformation within Reiki practitioners. Reiki practitioners are attuned to a traditional and ancient hands-on healing technique which involves the practitioner channelling life-force energy through their hands to heal themselves or others. The methodology of intuitive inquiry was used, and the interview transcripts of eight participants were analysed using Thematic Content Analysis. Eight themes were formed and included: Opening the Door, Shifting Beliefs, Lifestyle Changes, Healing Crisis, Moving Past Doubts, Spiritual Connection and Self-Empowerment. The results were presented through a compound narrative of the participants’ experiences. The findings showed that Reiki practitioners experienced transformation on mental, emotional, physical and spiritual levels. Many of the participants experienced struggles that they learned to interpret as meaningful. They also shifted their beliefs and made lifestyle changes which led to greater self-empowerment.

This Research paper examines how Tolkien's novels, "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings," incorporate labyrinthine elements into their fictional worlds. In these literary works, events primarily unfold in open landscapes, but there are elements that evoke complex and dangerous mazes, where certain heroes assume roles similar to that of Theseus. Thus, this analysis explores the representations of the Labyrinth myth through Tolkien's writing, highlighting both the similarities and differences between these structures in the two contexts, while emphasizing the symbolism of the subterranean world, akin to a cave, as a site of transformation where heroes emerge metamorphosed, invoking both death and rebirth. The paper suggests the use of mythocriticism to analyze the reiterations and variations of Labyrinth mythemes in these novels.

Abstract:
The supersymmetric generalization of Poisson–Lie T-duality in the N=2 superconformal WZNW models on the compact groups is considered. It is shown that the role of Drinfeld's doubles play the complexifications of the corresponding compact groups. These complex doubles are used to define the natural actions of the isotropic subgroups forming the doubles on the group manifolds of the N=2 superconformal WZNW models. The Poisson–Lie T-duality in N=2 superconformal U(2)-WZNW model is considered in details. It is shown that this model admits Poisson–Lie symmetries with respect to the isotropic subgroups forming Drinfeld's double Gl (2,C). Poisson–Lie T-duality transformation maps this model into itself but acts nontrivially on the space of classical solutions. Supersymmetric generalization of Poisson–Lie T-duality in N=2 superconformal WZNW models on the compact groups of higher dimensions is proposed.

Abstract:
In today's manufacturing industry, digital transformation has become a focal point for academia and practitioners due to its potential to drive supply chain management and sustainability outcomes. This transformation provides numerous opportunities to improve strategic, tactical, and operational capabilities to meet sustainability goals. However, the high level of uncertainty associated with digital transformation programs has created doubts among many manufacturing companies about the successful adoption of digital transformation in their supply chain processes. While previous studies have examined digital transformation technologies and their implementations in supply chains, little attention has been given to the drivers and barriers associated with adopting digital technologies for sustainable supply chains, especially in the context of manufacturing. Therefore, this study aims to fill this gap by providing a comprehensive overview of digital transformation adoption in manufacturing supply chains and identifying the critical drivers and barriers to successful digital transformation implementation. A total of six barriers and eleven drivers have been selected from the literature. Finally, this study provides insights for decision-makers to overcome the main barriers that hinder the successful implementation of digital technologies in supply chain functions, which can lead to a higher ethical supply chain level from a sustainability and operational efficiency perspective.

Abstract:
Despite increasing scepticism about the conventional growth model, the topic of destabilisation of socio-economic regimes has not yet captured scholarly interest. This paper addresses this gap and serves a twofold purpose. First, it develops an analytical framework for studying discursive regime destabilisation based on previous research by Turnheim and colleagues. The framework is novel as it allows for: (1) structured analysis of framing interactions between niche and regime actors; (2) visualised mapping of discursive actors; and (3) identification of phases of discursive destabilisation. Second, the paper contributes to the literature on an ongoing practice of socio-economic transformations by applying the framework to a case study of a social movement organisation, “Economy for the Common Good” (ECG), that seeks to advance socio-economic transition. The suggested framework was useful for analysing the ECG. First, it demonstrated that niche actors employed mostly motivational and prognostic frames supporting the alternative economic approach, while the regime diffused mostly diagnostic frames focusing on the perceived negative aspects of the niche. Second, by applying the framework, we identified three relevant destabilisation phases in this socio-economic transformation process: Blindness and Denial, Incremental Responses to Problems and Increasing Doubts and Diversification. We argue that the framing of the niche affects different actor groups differently: while representatives of high authorities remained in the first phase of destabilisation, regional authorities and private companies already appeared at the second and third phases.

Abstract:
The European Ballet Theater has a long tradition of replenishing its repertoire with plots of operas, dramas and popular ballet productions. So on the stages of the capital's Russian theaters, since the formation of the ballet genre in the XVIII century, twin performances with the same names have appeared. This phenomenon of transformation of the work is almost not studied. In this regard, questions arise: what in the new version of the play can be considered original material, and what is borrowed? Does the plot, music, and set design remain in it? To solve these tasks, documentary sources are involved: unknown librettos, musical manuscripts of the studied ballets and compositions that form the basis of new theatrical versions. The original ways of «processing» are revealed, including with and without preserving the plot, with musical quoting of fragments of the original source and without quoting. It is proved that the presence or absence of borrowings is confirmed only by a scrupulous reconciliation of literary and musical texts of the original and derived compositions.

Abstract Although conversion is an ongoing religious journey, it is rarely studied as such. This article provides a longitudinal study of conversion to Islam by Dutch women. People who recently convert might firmly hold on to their new convictions, not providing space for doubts and uncertainty, whereas studying the long-term process also gives insights into moments of weak belief, doubts, and ambivalence, or growing faith and spirituality. Not only these internal contestations are important to examine, also the context of the conversion narrative can change over time. Conversion is a contested issue, yet which aspects of the conversion are contested can shift due to societal debates on Islam. This article conceptualizes the conversion experience as a contextual narrative of the ongoing religious transformation of the ‘self’ in relation to different ‘others’ over time.

Abstract:
The dough formation during the kneading for the industrial production of toast pan bread was examined using a series of mechanical tests to assess possible transformations in its rheological properties. For this purpose, the Young’s modulus of elasticity and squeeze flow viscometry of the doughs taken from various processing stages of the kneading process were determined. The rheological properties of the dough were assessed using dynamic and creep tests. Young’s modulus data revealed the changes in the elasticity of the dough exhibited during the different steps of kneading, whereas dynamic and creep tests indicated that throughout kneading, the dough displayed the behavior of a weak solid. Elongational viscosity measurements showed that the dough exhibited pseudoplastic behavior throughout the kneading process. The doughs from the various processing steps exhibited differences in zero shear viscosity values. It is suggested that the changes occurred during the processing stages, related to the development of secondary bonding within the gluten matrix.

Conformational disorder and inversions of the lactone ring induce structural transformations in the crystals of 6-hydroxy-4,4,5,7,8-pentamethyl-3,4-dihydrocoumarin, C14H18O3. The onset of ordering of the lactone ring at 300 K proceeds continuously, changes the space group from P21/m to P21/c and doubles the unit cell; the abrupt inversion of the lactone rings at 225 K changes the crystal translational symmetry in the (010) plane. The mechanism combining the molecular conformation and dynamics with the crystal structure, its symmetry, and phase transitions is presented.

Abstract:
In Russia, as in other developed countries, the number of registered marriages is de- creasing, and the number of cohabitations and divorces is increasing. Chances of divorced women entering into a new legal and stable marriage are low. Remarriages are no more stable than the first marriages. All this leads to a further decrease in the birth rate. On the basis of the data from the sample survey of reproductive plans of the population conducted by the Federal State Statistics Service in 2017, the author shows that women in registered marriages have more children by the end of the reproductive age than women in unregistered partnerships. Women who remarried have more children than in the first marriage. But even they have the average number of children significantly less than the minimum required for a simple replacement of generations. Only one in five women of reproductive age, who ended their first marriage, was in legal marriage at the time of the survey. The average number of children of women in unregistered unions is higher than that of never married and divorced women, but less than that of married women. Doubts about the reliability of relationships with unofficial partners lead to postponement of giving birth to children. The demographic policy in Russia up to 2018 was mainly aimed at stimulating second and subsequent births in existing families, rather than creating new ones. Only in 2018 there were introduced significant benefits for children under the age of one and a half years. However, creation of a family begins not with the birth of a child, but with the entry into a legal marriage. According to the author, it is necessary to encourage registration of marriages.

Abstract:
Over time, technological evolution has had an impact on all business organizations where the need to be able to constantly innovate in all the internal processes of your company is created. Today the commercial market is very competitive and causes companies to see a deeper horizon and adopt certain methodologies and new processes such as digital transformation.According to the consulting firm Mckinzey, due to the pandemic, it has forced many entities to advance this adoption of new technologies, including the optimization of some manual processes, which have to be automated, but before talking about these technologies, we will verify some stumbling blocks that the digital transformation has that we detail below. according to (Weaver, 2021): 1) The approval of the directors: This is the biggest obstacle of the 3 points because most probably the directors in their planning have invested technological tools that due to pandemic issues, these became obsolete, but according to studies at the beginning of the year 2020 ( KPMG, 2020), “67% of executives in the United States expressed a great concern regarding the migration of all their businesses to the cloud, however, this quickly turned from being a concern to a necessity where as a result , 70% of managers have an affirmation that the new digital models had a great advance as a result of the pandemic”. 2) Resistance to change in human resources: this concept is not new in the market, because the lack of communication between the project leaders and the areas involved is not very effective, resulting in an environment of uncertainty and doubts about what that is being done. This exclusion of the staff and not making them part of our project, makes many people resist change, being a great obstacle for our technological project. It is always essential to be aware that the new technologies that are being implemented will most likely be used by these users, but it should also be considered that our users are used to executing and carrying out processes that are well known and it is the change in their routine that generates some fear or discomfort. 3) Reduce dependence on traditional tools: for some authors, this point is the continuity of the previous one, since users know how to use the computer tools they have used for years and a new update means for them to start over from scratch. Migrating to new technological tools must mean that for the company it will bring many benefits, as well as improve the quality of life of its users. Contrary to the previous points, the benefits obtained in the digital transformation can be indicated according to (CMC, 2020):1) Faster response to changes.2) Improve the customer experience.3) Make better decisions.4) New business opportunities.5) Reduce risks.6) Increases the productivity of the company.7) It favors collaborative work.8) Promotes innovation.9) Advantage over the competition.10) Decentralization of work. The digital transformation combines three important aspects in its development, starting with an open culture, new technologies and constant processes. For the latter, they can be implemented in different ways, such as robotic process automation (RPA). For (ToBeIt, 2022), RPA "is one of the keys to the transformation of companies since it is allowing the automation of superfluous and repetitive processes or tasks through specific rules". With this definition, various types of services can be created that lead to 24-hour care without the need for human intervention, of course, that the objective of RPA is not to replace human resources but rather to be able to optimize tasks carried out by users, providing the opportunity for the user to carry out other activities where they involve some type of decision. The different RPA tools, some of them entail a certain degree of programming knowledge, but, however, there are others that are very friendly and/or are carried out through a natural language, making it possible for the same user to configure them and plan their execution, taking into account the following activities: 1) Security and access to the tool, through the management of credentials and the roles of each user.2) Compatibility with existing applications in the company.3) User interface, the application must be as friendly to new users as it is to experienced users. In order to implement an RPA tool, it is essential to evaluate the following aspects: 1) Identify those repetitive tasks that consume many hours of work.2) Design and parameterization of the optimized workflow.3) Planning the implementation of the RPA tool together with constant monitoring of its execution. The benefits of implementing an RPA are: 1) Realization and execution of tasks 24*7 without the need for human intervention.2) Greater efficiency between 50% and 90% of current processes.3) Time savings, since the robot is much faster than human action.4) Because it has no human intervention, it can be said that the RPA has a margin of error of 0%.5) An RPA can be implemented without the intervention of a company IT team. According to the magic square of Garther 2021 "estimates that 85% of companies with revenues greater than 1,000 million dollars will have deployed RPA by the end of the year 2022, a percentage that at the end of 2018 was 60%". Another very important fact is that a study by (Hidalgo, 2022) indicates that "in 2021, the business volume linked to this technology has been approximately $2B and an exponential growth of the RPA market is expected until it reaches a volume of 13.4B$ in the year 2030”. This information tells us that many companies are investing in RPA due to the benefits that they imply. In a report generated in (flobotics-io, 2022) it indicates that "the use of RPA in industries, 38% is insurance companies, 36% is retail and hospitality, 30% is energy companies and utilities, with the same percentage is in health care companies, 24% in banking and financial entities and finally with 22% in pharmaceutical industries and others”. The types of companies not mentioned, have a low percentage of participation, but little by little they are increasing to adapt to this type of technology. In a survey issued by Deloitte, 92% indicated that RPA met or exceeded their expectations while 90% indicated that they had improved quality/accuracy, 86% improved productivity, and 59% indicated that they had a reduction in cost. costs. Another important piece of information is that 78% of companies that have implemented RPA expect to significantly increase their investment in RPA over the next three years. There is another very important statistic where it finds that 63% of companies plan to engage with an RPA implementation partner, while 19% plan to use RPA vendors for support and 15% will handle RPA internally. Finally, I can conclude that the inclusion of RPA in the digital transformation is very important for the competitive advantages that a company can have, since with it they manage to optimize their resources and generate great business opportunities, without forgetting the new services that a company can provide to its customers to improve the experience and satisfaction of this.

The development of the digital economy is an essential part of Indonesia's G20 presidency. We evaluate the digital economy, focusing on blockchain adoption in the financial services industry and buying and selling transactions. Even then, there are still doubts regarding system transformation, information security, and guarantee of traceability, both in terms of data validation in complying with Islamic principles (halal industry). In this issue, we show that the importance of developing blockchain adoption can be developed in the broader field, especially in responding to deindustrialization on the principles of collaboration in digital transformation that are more inclusive, empowering, complying with sharia principles, and sustainable. This research is critical to know as a basis for consideration by government policies, industry, and entrepreneurs in considerations related to blockchain adoption through supply chain management principles that are standardized with the principles of the halal industry.

We explicitly solve the classical equations of motion for strings in backgrounds obtained as non-Abelian T-duals of a homogeneous isotropic plane-parallel wave. To construct the dual backgrounds, semi-Abelian Drinfeld doubles are used which contain the isometry group of the homogeneous plane wave metric. The dual solutions are then found by the Poisson–Lie transformation of the explicit solution of the original homogeneous plane wave background. Investigating their Killing vectors, we have found that the dual backgrounds can be transformed to the form of more general plane-parallel waves.

Abstract:
The article examines the issues of managing the digital transformation of the Russian industrial sector. The author notes that a new content of the industrial development strategy is currently on the agenda a digital strategy, for the development of which there are a number of prerequisites: the availability of the Internet, the use of digital services, mobile devices, and other digital technologies. The article deals with the issues of digital transformation management and the directions of its development. The author reveals the advantages of implementing digital transformation, suggests directions for implementing the roadmap for digital transformation of the industrial sector, and identifies trends in the digital transformation of the industrial sector. It is noted that digital transformation begins with the creation of a digital platform where the interests of industry, the state and science are united. Digital platforms are proposed to be organized by type of economic activity (FEA), using digital ecosystems. Digital platforms are proposed to be created in the areas of digital transformation, such as: uber-ization, the Internet of things, neural technologies, Big Data, network interaction with partners, blockchain, crowdfunding. The article reflects that one of the types of digitalization is uber-the transformation of the economy, which represents a digital service for the provision of services, the rejection of hierarchical multi-level organizational structures, to production and management structures based on the blockchain. Uber-ization of the economy is a digital management service that includes a whole range of other digital services. In this article, the author proposes a model of digital transformation of the industrial sector of the Russian Federation based on the creation of digital doubles that allow using such advantages as reducing the time of business processes, increasing the accuracy of calculations, and improving the quality of work performed. Digital transformation forms new forms of organizational, innovation and management activities, takes a leading position in the development of domestic industrial potential, new competitive advantages by improving business processes for knowledge and information management, increasing the number of technological innovations, and filling them with professional competencies.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was to compare the quality of smears obtained by a newly designed cervical cell sampler (the implement) to those obtained with the cervex brush, using liquid-based cytology (LBC). A prospective randomized controlled trial with the approval of the local ethics committees after informing the Medical Devices Agency in the UK was used in this study. The study was carried out in colposcopy clinics in two district general NHS Trust Hospitals in London. A total of 200 women were recruited (100 from each hospital). The women were randomized into two groups, each of them having two smears at the same time. One hundred (50%) of the women had their first smear with the new implement, and the other 100 (50%) had their first smear with the cervex brush. The main outcome of this study is good-quality smears, assessed by evidence of effective sampling of the transformation zone, including immature metaplastic cells and also endocervical cells. Eighty-five percent of the smears taken by the new implement showed good-quality smears compared to 91% of those taken by the cervex brush, a statistically marginally nonsignificant result, withPvalue = 0.052 (McNemar exact test). A larger number of good-quality smears, judged by evidence of sampling of transformation zone, were obtained with the cervex brush, though the difference was statistically marginally nonsignificant, using the British society for clinical cytology criteria. Surprisingly, despite the use of LBC, there was a higher rate of inadequate smears obtained with both the devices (8% with each) compared to our previous study using the conventional slide test (1.3% with the new implement and 1.8% with the Jordan's spatula).

Abstract:
Digital transformation in the banking sector is a continuous process that affects both the external and internal environment by redesigning internal processes and existing methods. There are many reasons that digital transformation takes place, such as servicing remote areas without physical branches, differentiation from competitors or reduction of operating costs. In any case, there are a lot of doubts about the acceptance of digital technologies. Thus, this article examines the acceptance rate of digital transformation in the banking sector in Greece. One hundred and sixty-one employees at Greek banks completed the survey. A Multivariate Regression Analysis was implemented to analyze the items of the Technology Acceptance Model. The findings of this paper indicate the perception of bank employees with regard to new technologies. This paper provides a practical contribution for executives of Greek banking organizations to schedule targeted educational programs to facilitate the transition to the new digital era for their employees. Executives are curious if employees are ready to accept and implement digitalization in their daily job routine. Therefore, the Technology Acceptance Model can provide answers to executives in facing these challenges.

Polish society’s demands on the political system in the period of systemic transformation It has been widely accepted that the demands which accompanied the systemic transformation, with regard to the political system, concerned above all the shape of democracy, the scope of the state’s functions, organisation of the state authorities and the relations between them, the scope and the constitutional guarantees of the civic rights, the foreign policy priorities, establishment of the territorial self-government as well as the relations between the state and the Catholic Church. In the economic sphere, the demands concerned primarily privatisation, implementation of market economy and the principles of equitable distribution of wealth. Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of the specific role of ideology in the political reality of late modern society. The authors describe a notable contradiction between a steady interest of social science to the competition of ideas of the development of society and the growing doubts of the applicability of classical theories of ideology for describing and comprehending such a competition. The theoretical analysis of contemporary social theory shows that ideology can be described as an action-oriented system of beliefs, and that there are different views on the status of such systems in the political reality of late modern society. During the theoretical analysis, the authors conclude that the idea of the disappearance of ideology from the political process of late modern society has an important conceptual argumentation, but it does not find any cogent empirical evidence. It is more likely that ideology does not disappear from the political reality of late modern society, but it changes to meet new social requirements. Late modern society creates special conditions for the manifestation of ideology by diversifying the information field, reducing the role of political parties, discrediting many fundamental ideological projects, and reducing the class struggle. Altogether, these conditions make ideology change, but they do not make it disappear from the political reality. This hypothesis is correlated with the data of the sociological research conducted by the authors on the case of ideological competition in Russian society before the parliamentary elections in 2016. The analysis of the data of this research shows that ideology still exists in contemporary Russian society, and allows its description as a hybrid in the value kernel and local in its rhetoric system of beliefs. Thus, the authors conclude that it is possible to describe the political processes of late modern society with using the term “ideology”. The term “ideology” which does not lose its heuristic possibilities, but requires a “reconfiguration” of the methodology of social science.

Abstract:
AI impacts surrounding human life, such as the economy, health, education, and agricultural production; however, the crop prices in the harvest season are still on manual calculation, which causes doubts about accuracy. In this study, an image-based approach is proposed to help farmers calculate rice prices more accurately. YOLOv5 is used to detect and extract the scales in the images taken from the harvesting of rice crops. Then, various image processing techniques, such as brightness balance, background removal, etc., are compiled to determine the needle position and number on the extracted scale. Lastly, geometric transformations are proposed to calculate the weight. A real dataset of 709 images is used for the experiment. The proposed method achieves good results in terms of mAP@0.5 at 0.995, mAP@[0.5:0.95] at 0.830 for scale detection, and MAE at 3.7 for weight calculation.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the factor structure and the measurement invariance of the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) across gender of K-12 school principals (n=6,317) in the USA. Design/methodology/approach Nine first-order factor models and four second-order factor models were tested using confirmatory factor analysis. Findings The results suggested that the nine-factor model provided the best fit for the data. Further examination revealed that most constructs lacked convergent validity and discriminant validity. Second-order factor models were tested and the hierarchical model with two higher order factors (i.e. transformational and transactional leadership) was deemed the best fit and it was then tested for measurement invariance between females and males. The measurement model was found to be invariant across gender. Findings suggested that female school principals demonstrated significantly greater transformational leadership behaviour, while male school principals demonstrated significantly greater transactional leadership behaviour. Originality/value This study addressed construct and factor issues previously associated with the MLQ in the measurement of transformational and transactional leadership among a variety of organizations. By using a sample of K-12 school principals across gender, this study has provided support that may ameliorate contextual doubts of transformational leadership behaviour when examining the relational aspects needed to improve schools.

Abstract:
The basic concept characterising the delusional misidentification syndromes (DMS), particularly the Capgras variety, is the concept of double, or its equivalents. It seems that this concept is prominent in all cultures and this explains the amazing universality of these delusions. Cases of DMS have been reported in practically all parts of the world. In fact, most patients actually mention the word double (or σωσιας, sosie etc.) or refer to transformations (metamorphose, μεταμoρΦωσεις and the like). The preoccupation, and even enchantment, of man with the notion of doubles from time immemorial in all cultures, as reflected in the myths, traditions, literature, beliefs and metaphysical motions, has been dealt with extensively elsewhere (Christodoulou, 1986a).

Abstract:
This study aimed to understand the impact of digital culture on companies’ knowledge and constant commitment to digital transformation, as well as its impact on organizations as a whole. Secondly, it aimed to explore the impact of digital technology adoption on organizational performance and competitiveness. Finally, the study investigated the role of knowledge management during digital transformation. A quantitative study was developed using a descriptive design. A questionnaire was developed on pre-test was carried out withon 15 participants and since no doubts or difficulties were detected, it was made available on the internet between January and April 2022. A total of 291 questionnaires were collected and validated. Data were imported from Google Forms for analysis in SPSS, version 25.0, andSmartPLS® 4.0 software. The questionnaire revealed good internal consistency (α = 0.922). Ten of the twelve hypotheses were confirmed, that is, the existence of positive and significant relationships between digital culture (DC) and knowledge of digital transformation (KDT); DC and adoption of digital technologies (ADT); DC and knowledge management (KM); commitment (C) and KDT; C and productivity (P); KDT and ADT; ADT and KM; ADT and P; ADT and C; and P and C. The results of regression analyses showed that the variables that contributed to the model (“competitiveness of organizations”) were productivity, the adoption of digital technologies, commitment to digital technologies, and knowledge management. The variables CD and KDT (Knowledge of digital transformation) presented lower and non-significant values.

Abstract:
This article is focused on the mechanical behavior and its relationship with the microstructural changes observed in two high-manganese steels presenting twinning-induced plasticity (TWIP) and transformation-induced plasticity (TRIP), namely Steel B and Steel C, respectively. Chemical compositions were similar in manganese, but carbon content of Steel B approximately doubles Steel C, which directly impacted on the stacking fault energy (SFE), microstructure and mechanical response of each alloy. Characterization of as-cast condition by optical microscope revealed a fully austenitic microstructure in Steel B and a mixed microstructure in Steel C consisting of austenite grains and thermal-induced (εt) martensite platelets. Same phases were observed after the thermo-mechanical treatment and tensile tests, corroborated by means of X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), which confirms no phase transformation in Steel B and TRIP effect in Steel C, due to the strain-induced γFCC→εHCP transformation that results in an increase in the ε-martensite volume fraction. Higher values of ultimate tensile strength, yield stress, ductility and impact toughness were obtained for Steel B. Significant microstructural changes were revealed in tensile specimens as a consequence of the operating hardening mechanisms. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) observations on the tensile and impact test specimens showed differences in fracture micro-mechanisms.

Abstract:
Before the coronavirus pandemic, digital transformation of education has been more or less an area of science rather than a widespread practice in the Philippines, most especially in schools in the provinces. However, despite the unpreparedness of educational institutions, the digital transformation of education had to happen overnight, which greatly challenged the digital skills of teachers, especially those of the Baby Boomers. Utilizing a generic qualitative research approach, this study explored the lived experiences of the Baby Boomer generation in the digital transformation of the teaching and learning process. The participants were chosen using the purposive sampling technique. The data were gathered from the six full-time online teachers utilizing the unstructured in-depth interview. The iterative process was observed during the interview until the saturation point was reached. The gathered data were analyzed using Lichtman's 3 Cs, the coding, categorizing, and forming concepts. The study revealed three themes with nine sub-themes. Their experiences surpassing challenges and difficulties include facing uncertainties and doubts, conquering fears and reservations, and overcoming limitations and frustrations. Their experiences specific to upgrading and recalibrating oneself include learning independently, seeking help from experts, and investing in technology and gadgets. Their realizations of positive outlook include preparedness leads to success, positive attitude creates positive outcomes, and commitment ensures survival.
