Abstract:
The article summarizes, expands and substantiates scientific knowledge about legal transformation as a component of modern legal development. The problems of transformations are understood by scientists of various directions and branches of social knowledge, primarily philosophers, political scientists, sociologists, economists and lawyers, since historical progress is directly determined by the ideas of democracy, freedom, free market, law and statehood. The points of view available in the specialized literature regarding the understanding of social transformation, its types, forms, trends and factors are analyzed. Social transformation covers the entire sphere of relations and interests (needs) in society, is the basis of the material and ideological structure on which both theory and practice of human life are based. Social transformation means the process of transformations in society, in particular in the cultural, political, economic and legal spheres. Qualitative and quantitative indicators of these transformations depend on many reasons and factors – internal and external, purposeful and spontaneous, objective and subjective, etc. Based on the study and systematization of transformational issues in legal science, the essence of legal transformation is revealed, under which it is proposed to understand qualitative and quantitative, substantive and formal, progressive and regressive, rational and irrational, regular, random and tendentious transformations of legal matter, legal life, legal reality, legal phenomena and processes under the action, influence, in the context, in the conditions of internal and external, purposeful and spontaneous, objective and subjective causes and factors (globalization, European integration, digitalization, sustainable development, etc.). The prerequisites for determining the common, distinctive and special features of legal transformation and legal reform within the framework of the development of the theory of the latter are outlined. Legal transformation is a component (component) of legal development along with such legal changes as formation, functioning, destruction, and is also carried out in the form of legal evolution, legal revolution, and legal reform. Turning to transformational (transformative) processes in legal reality is intended to continue the scientific search for an optimal, effective model of legal development, initiated by domestic scientists, in fundamentally new realities – in the conditions of war and post-war state reconstruction. Key words: development, social development, legal development, changes, social changes, legal changes, transformation, social transformation, legal transformation, transformation of legislation, transformation of the legal system, reform, social reform, legal reform, theory of legal reform.

Abstract:
The article presents the phenomenon of transformation and its paradigm as well as the transformation in the fields of defence and the military. First, we address border concepts and later define the transformation process and its paradigm with the terms such as consolidation, conversion, modernization, modification, restructuring, reform and reorganization, further on revolution in the military field and re-engineering, and particularly alteration and transformation. In doing so, we procees from the fact that at the end of the Cold War these phenomena of changing have been described in a variety of technical and scientific resources, as well as the defense and military practice with the terms that may be synonymous in describing the same phenomena, but are often used to describe completely different ones, although seeming similar at first. In the debate, we are interested in whether the transformational paradigm is a hybrid; which are the common points of the revolutionary and evolutionary paradigm, and where to place it. Additionally, we provide the findings and observations on the comparison of revolutions in the military sphere and the transformation, all with the aim to enable better understanding of the transformative paradigms and transformation of the armed forces, both nationally and wider. It is important to recognise that the transformational paradigm and its philosophy are still incomplete and insufficiently researched and tested in practice, although important steps have been noted just in the defence and military fields.

Abstract:
The current threatening environmental trends point to enormous environmental policy challenges at the national, regional and global levels. To improve this situation, it is necessary to begin fundamental economic and social transformations. Such processes create enormous political problems. The article analyses in detail four historical studies that explain the need for a global environmental shift, and explores the possibility of transformational processes. Transformation as a radical transformation is a valueoriented process.

Abstract:
This paper considers fast and robust mosaicking of UAV images under a circumstance that each UAV images have very narrow overlaps in-between. Image transformation for image mosaicking consists of two estimations: relative transformations and global transformations. For estimating relative transformations between adjacent images, projective transformation is widely considered. For estimating global transformations, panoramic constraint is widely used. While perspective transformation is a general transformation model in 2D-2D transformation, this may not be optimal with weak stereo geometry such as images with narrow overlaps. While panoramic constraint works for reliable conversion of global transformation for panoramic image generation, this constraint is not applicable to UAV images in linear motions. For these reasons, a robust approach is investigated to generate a high quality mosaicked image from narrowly overlapped UAV images. For relative transformations, several transformation models were considered to ensure robust estimation of relative transformation relationship. Among them were perspective transformation, affine transformation, coplanar relative orientation, and relative orientation with reduced adjustment parameters. Performance evaluation for each transformation model was carried out. The experiment results showed that affine transformation and adjusted coplanar relative orientation were superior to others in terms of stability and accuracy. For global transformation, we set initial approximation by converting each relative transformation to a common transformation with respect to a reference image. In future work, we will investigate constrained relative orientation for enhancing geometric accuracy of image mosaicking and bundle adjustments of each relative transformation model for optimal global transformation.

Abstract:
This article deals with the problem of human transformation in Russian society. The value contradictions in society and the socio-cultural activity of Russians are studied. Anthroposociocultural existence and causes of anomie in Russian society are briefly discussed. The bodily-sociocultural model of human transformation in a changing society is substantiated and corporality as a sociocultural phenomenon is considered in sufficient detail. It is shown that the transformation of the human body and culture occurs synchronously under the influence of modern information and communication systems. The author proposes a logical-epistemological scheme of transformational changes in human corporeality. It follows from the diagram that any transformation of the human body has four successive stages and begins with a change in the human consciousness. Intermediate stages in this scheme of transformational changes are poorly controlled and precise bodily corrections that turn into conscious behavior. It is concluded that the knowledge of bodily and sociocultural changes in a person can provide the necessary balance of progressive and regressive transformations in Russian society.

Abstract:
The article deals with a specific polycode text that functions in the field of virtual communication – Internet meme. The focus is on its regular transformations. Considering possible methodological approaches to the analysis of this phenomenon, the author comes to the conclusion about the efficiency of using the methodology of intertext linguistic theory. The essential characteristic of a meme is its transformational potential, which allows to create new meanings and use this communication unit in a wide range of relevant contexts. The polycode structure of a meme determines the spectrum of its potential transformations by changing the verbal and visual elements. The material of observations was one of the most popular memes of 2020 – "Get up, Natasha, we dropped everything". The author identifies 8 meme transformations, which can be considered as regular: development of the visuals with the addition of a verbal element; contraction of the visuals with the same verbal element / transformation of the verbal element; the reframing of the context; pragmatic transformation; intertextual transformation, including the effect of meta-communication; reduction of the image with the same visual markers; reframing with the change of verbal and visual elements; adaptation of the meme in the media texts. The latter transformation indicates the successful inclusion of the Internet meme as a communication element of network coverse in modern discursive practices.

Abstract:
For the modal analysis of un-transposed transmission lines, the traditional standard transformations fail. We propose a novel transformation matrix based on the Karrenbauer transformation matrix to simplify the calculation. This paper shows how to derive this corrected novel transformation matrix from the Karrenbauer transformation matrix by using some mathematical theories. In addition to the theoretical aspects discussed, some examples are presented for illustrative purposes.

Abstract:
In this article, we address how the production of model transformations (MT) can be accelerated by automation of transformation synthesis from requirements, examples, and metamodels. We introduce a synthesis process based on metamodel matching, correspondence patterns between metamodels, and completeness and consistency analysis of matches. We describe how the limitations of metamodel matching can be addressed by combining matching with automated requirements analysis and model transformation by example (MTBE) techniques. We show that in practical examples a large percentage of required transformation functionality can usually be constructed automatically, thus potentially reducing development effort. We also evaluate the efficiency of synthesised transformations. Our novel contributions are: The concept of correspondence patterns between metamodels of a transformation. Requirements analysis of transformations using natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML). Symbolic MTBE using “predictive specification” to infer transformations from examples. Transformation generation in multiple MT languages and in Java, from an abstract intermediate language.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to report the results of an industry-funded qualitative interdisciplinary research project that has produced a new approach to motorway noise management called “noise transformation”. Design/methodology/approach Four iterative design tests guided by listening as methodology. These included field recordings, laboratory tests and two field tests. Field tests were conducted in combination with ethnographers, who verified community responses to field-based transformations. Findings Transformation requires an audible perception of both background and introduced sounds in all instances. Transformation creates a 1–2 dB increase in background sound levels, making it counterintuitive to traditional noise attenuation approaches. Noise transformation is an electroacoustic soundscape design method that treats noise as a “design material”. When listening to motorway noise transformations, participants were actually experiencing another rendering of a sound that they had already acquired a degree of attunement to. Thus, they experienced transformations as somehow familiar or normal and easy to feel comfortable with. Originality/value Noise transformation is a new approach to noise management. Typically, noise management focusses on reduction in dB levels. Noise transformation focusses on changing the perceptual impact of noise to make it less annoying. It brings together urban design, composition and ethnography as a means to think about the future design of outdoor environments affected by motorway traffic noise, and should be of interests to planners, designers and artists. The authors have structured the paper around listening as methodology, through which both design and ethnography outcomes were achieved.

Abstract:
The existing methods of separate central banks, regulators of financial markets, international financial and credit institutions, rating agencies and consulting companies, which can be used partially to assess the quality of transformational processes taking place in the financial sector, are analyzed. An adequate methodical toolkit is proposed, which will allow to assess the potential of the domestic financial sector, to identify the patterns of transformation processes, and also to assess the impact of their quality on the functioning of financial intermediaries and to propose appropriate mechanisms for ensuring their further development. The structural-logical scheme of formation of criteria and system of indicators of the quality of transformational processes in the financial sector of the country’s economy is developed. Investigated general approaches are considered to be useful for developing a methodology for the integral assessment of the quality of transformation processes in the financial sector of the economy by specifying the content of the main stages and methodological approaches to the goals and object of the research. Assessment of the quality of transformation processes in the financial sector of the national economy is an ambiguous process. This is due to the fact that, firstly, in this regard it can be considered as the impact of transformations on the quality of objects, and as the quality of the transformations in particular. Secondly, transformation processes in the financial sector of the national economy can be positive and negative; general and specific; large-scale and minor; systematic and dotted; intensive and extensive; priority and non-priority; stimulating and moderating; divergent; resource, technological, institutional, organizational, quality, behavioral; timely and spatial; painful, conflict and non-conflict; and also they are made with different expenses. Thirdly, both expected and actual results of transformation processes in the financial sector should be assessed.

Abstract:
Organizational transformation refers to the actions where a company or business changes a major component of its organization, which in turn influences organizational performance. In the literature, there is an abundance of study on underperforming teams in organizational transformation. However, little is known on the parameters of an organizational transformation processes in those teams. In an earlier study, we divided teams performance-wise into Green (best), Amber (caution), and Red (worst) teams to signify different scale ratings. Herein, we compare what transformational parameters the red teams differed from the amber and green teams. We analyzed 3,133 teams in 454 different transformations. Our research findings show that the red team members seemed much less aware and informed about the transformation having unrealistic ambitions about improving their situation. After a management target had been set, the Red teams had (expectedly) more items to work on than Green and Amber. However, this extra work was focused on a much smaller group of team members. Finally, this study may help to focus management attention in an organizational transformation further.

Abstract:
We study birational monomial transformations of the formφ(x:y:z)=(ϵ1xα1yβ1zγ1:ϵ2xα2yβ2zγ2:xα3yβ3zγ3), whereϵ1,ϵ2∈{−1,1}. These transformations form a group. We describe this group in terms of generators and relations and, for every such transformationφ, we prove a formula, which represents the transformationφas a product of generators of the group. To prove this formula, we use birationally equivalent polynomialsAx+By+CandAxp+Byq+Cxrys. Ifφis the transformation which carries one polynomial onto another, then the integral powers of generators in the product, which represents the transformationφ, can be calculated by the expansion ofp/qin the continued fraction.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of transformational changes in the labor market under the influence of the spread of the processes of digital transformation of the economy. Scientific approaches to the content of the "digital transformation" category have been analyzed. It was concluded that digital transformation reflects the process of digitization, which is one of the defining trends in the development of human civilization. The main indicators of digitalization of the economy have been determined. Attention is focused on the continuous impact of digital transformations on the sphere of population employment. The effects of digitalization of the economy on the employment of the population at different levels of the economy: at the level of individual companies, at the sectoral level, and at the macro level have been studied. Five new characteristics of the employment system due to the digitalization of the economy are highlighted: the emergence of new forms of competition in the labor market (between high-value employees; between employers for labor); formation of almost unlimited virtual space for labor mobility of employees; high level of innovativeness and dynamism of the labor market; specific demographic structure of the digital labor market; digital employment can be a tool to ensure balance in the labor market. A number of risks in the field of employment of the population as a result of the digital transformation of the economy have been studied, in particular, a possible increase in the level of unemployment, automation of jobs, updating of work skills, difficulty in employment of the population of various age groups, in particular, the elderly. It was concluded that under the influence of digital transformations of the economy, the labor market expands the employment opportunities of the population, transforms the nature and conditions of work, increases the requirements for the qualifications and competencies of employees, and determines the formation of modern regulatory mechanisms of social and labor relations. The expediency of conducting further scientific research on the transformation of the labor market in the conditions of deepening the processes of digital transformation of the economy is substantiated. Abstract:
The formation of ferrite (α) from austenite (γ) and vice versa, upon thermo-mechanical processing of steels, are phase transformations of great technological importance. Often these transformations occur in the presence of externally or internally imposed stress. This paper provides an overview of recent research on the quantitative analysis of the transformation kinetics of the γ®a and a®g transformations subjected to uniaxial compressive stress below the yield stress of g and a, based on the application of the high-resolution differential dilatometry and the modular model of transformation kinetics. The application of uniaxially compressive stresses leads to antagonistic effects on the transformation kinetics: the stress applied upon the γ®a transformation prompts the transformation, while it obstructs the a®g transformation. These results can be quantitatively discussed in terms of chemical driving forces and transformation-induced deformation energies.

Abstract:
The scientific provisions on the use of transformation procedures in the organizational and managerial field of the enterprise activity are sufficiently substantiated in the scientific works of well-known foreign and domestic scientists. In addition to transformational models that offer a specific sequence of stages, general approaches to organizational transformations are recently developed in the theory and practice. These approaches describe the philosophy of the process. However, the theoretical basis for the emergence of the necessity and the prospect of organizational transformations, in particular in the form of restructuring, has certain gaps and inaccuracies, which often lead to a different interpretation of the necessity and procedural security of this process in the activities of industrial enterprises. The conducted analysis of theoretical and methodical aspects of transformation processes in the organizational and managerial sphere of activity of industrial enterprises allowed identifying and justifying the criteria for the success of organizational transformations and the specific sequence of stages of their implementation. The definition of content of the category "enterprise restructuring" is proposed in the context of organizational transformation. The scheme of the process of implementation of the corresponding organizational and managerial transformations, which involves the use of new tools and methods of organization of activity and enterprise management system in order to ensure optimization of economic activity, is constructed. The scientific novelty of the results is that the methodological provisions, which are in the article, allow us to determine possible directions and types of structural transformations; to choose the controlled factors that influence the size of the market value of the enterprise by types of transformations in the organizational and managerial sphere; to present the structural model of planning and implementation of enterprise restructuring, which is consistent with the idea of the process of structural changes of the enterprise in relation to adaptation to the external environment and application of the latest management concepts; to present a structural scheme for evaluating the effectiveness of the restructuring, aimed at the development of the enterprise. The developed approaches to determining the need for transformation processes of organizational and managerial transformation and a scheme for evaluating the effectiveness of restructuring can be used by specialists to make grounded decisions aimed at the development of industrial enterprises.

Abstract:
Transformation patterns optimize transformations and improve their internal structure. This paper presents an automatic method for pattern proposition in transformation life cycles. Our approach combines the transformation engineering by the idea of transformation patterns and proposes appropriate patterns in the design and implementation phases of transformation life cycle. We evaluate the impact of proposed patterns on generated transformations based on several metrics, automatically. The proposed patterns in the design phase are based on the structure of transformation, and implementation patterns are proposed according to the result of the evaluation. Our method is presented as a semi-automatic process for using the transformation patterns in transformation life cycles. The results of applying suggested patterns include decreasing the complexity, memory usage, execution time, as well as increasing the quality, efficiency, and modularity.

Abstract:
Mathematics is often called uninteresting and considered abstract. One way that can be used to introduce mathematics is by relating it to daily life or special local culture, which is called ethnomathematics. Ethnomathematics is a combination of mathematical elements with cultural aspects and social context in society. One of the cultures that exists in society is weaving. In South Tapanuli itself there is a woven cloth which is a local cultural heritage, namely the Sipirok Woven cloth. In this research, the science implemented is Transformation Geometry. Transformation Geometry is a science that discusses change, these changes can be in the form of changes in shape or changes in presentation based on matrices and images. This research is included in the type of exploratory research, namely exploring woven fabric motifs that can be used in learning Transformational Geometry. The process of compiling one element of the sipirok motif can be carried out in various ways and in a certain sequence of transformations. The transformation that will be used to compose sipirok batik in this article is reflection.

Abstract:
Abstract A famous result of Crauder and Katz (1989) concerns the classification of special Cremona transformations whose base locus has dimension at most two. They also proved that a special Cremona transformation with base locus of dimension three has to be one of the following: 1) a quinto-quintic transformation of ℙ5; 2) a cubo-quintic transformation of ℙ6; or 3) a quadro-quintic transformation of ℙ8. Special Cremona transformations as in Case 1) have been classified by Ein and Shepherd-Barron (1989), while in our previous work (2013), we classified special quadro-quintic Cremona transformations of ℙ8. Here we consider the problem of classifying special cubo-quintic Cremona transformations of ℙ6, concluding the classification of special Cremona transformations whose base locus has dimension three.

Abstract:
When facing the challenge of preserving cultural heritage for future generations, it becomes important to talk about heritage transformations and the perspectives of these transformations. Thus, this integrative review article seeks to discuss heritage transformations and their perspectives for future tourism development, by analyzing various theoretical and empirical literature sources. The results of this integrative review analysis highlighted the importance of paying attention to the three layers of perspectives: personal, local, and regional. Thus, the discussion opened up the following “IPR” theoretical insights: heritage transformations—“I”—as personal transformations, heritage transformations—“Place”—as local perspective, heritage transformations—“R”—as regional perspective. It has revealed that all three discussed heritage transformation perspectives are experiencing significant connections. The biggest challenge of current and future heritage transformations is a dependence on being constantly interconnected (individually, locally, regionally) and on being constantly influenced by the world’s challenges and development trends. When looking towards future tourism development, the interconnected layers of heritage transformation perspectives could lead to the constant integration and creation of interwoven tourism values and experiences.

Abstract:
For relativistic velocities, Galileo’s principle of addition of four-dimensional velocities is valid, and not the Lorentz transformation. In this case, it is impossible to write down the law of conservation of energy with Newton’s potential using the Lorentz transformation. And with the proposed transformation it is possible. In addition, the invariance of the wave equation with respect to the Galilean transformation with four-dimensional velocity is obtained. The GR equation is also invariant under the Galileo transformations of the four-vector. This transformation is a more general case of invariance than the Lorentz transformation. Moreover, the Lorentz transformation is contradictory. For a single massive body in general relativity, the Lorentz transformation is not valid, since the metric tensor is not Galilean. Although in the case of SRT such a transformation is possible. Those. the properties of inertial coordinate systems are violated. For a Galilean transformation of a four-vector for a massive body, a Galilean transformation is possible. Moreover, from the Galilean transformations of the four-vector, one can obtain the Lorentz transformation, but with the use of three-dimensional velocity. Three-dimensional speed is limited by the speed of light in real space, where all tricks with its use come from. The 4D speed is unlimited, and there are no coordinate transformation tricks. If you use the transformation between inertial coordinate systems using a limited threedimensional velocity, then tricks arise with the transformation of space and time. If you use unlimited four-dimensional speed, then there are no tricks with a change in space-time. Four-dimensional speed is a more general concept than three-dimensional, and you need to measure the parameters at four-dimensional speed, then there will be no tricks. Thus, measuring time with the help of four-dimensional velocity, we will not get an increase in the muon lifetime.

Abstract:
Purpose – The major purpose of this paper is to investigate antecedents, outcomes and processes of business portfolio transformations, including diversifying, refocusing and repositioning portfolio restructurings. Design/methodology/approach – The paper conducts a longitudinal study on the process of business portfolio transformations among the largest 100 European and 100 North American firms during the period of 1998-2010. A newly developed metric is applied that allows a business portfolio transformation to be identified and quantified and process-related research to be conducted. Findings – The study confirms and expands prior literature that postulates that poor performance and over-diversification are key motivations for portfolio restructuring. However, the majority of transformations were not successful, with firm performance further deteriorating in the course of the transformation. The analysis of the transformation process itself reveals that the average transformation took 2.6 years and changed the portfolio composition by 42 per cent. Most transformations are conducted rather continuously over the transformation period and rely heavily on divestitures and acquisitions. Practical implications – Managers should not to be too optimistic when they consider a major business portfolio restructuring. In particular, diversifying or repositioning transformations have a low success rate, while refocusing transformations are most successful on average. The study of the process of portfolio transformations offers some advice to increase the odds of a successful restructuring. Originality/value – This longitudinal analysis represents the first study of the process of portfolio transformation by applying a newly developed transformation metric. By uncovering the process characteristics of portfolio transformations among the largest European and North American firms, it provides insights on the occurrence, typical magnitude, duration and order of acquisitions and divestitures of large portfolio transformations.

Abstract:
The construction of the regression models used to control machining processes is the objective of many experimental studies. Therefore, the effectiveness of the machining process control largely depends on the regression model’s accuracy. This study was conducted to determine the optimal regression model of surface grinding. Accordingly, eight different surface grinding regression models were constructed, including one model without data transformation and seven models that utilized various data transformations. The seven data transformations employed entailed square root transformation, logarithmic transformation, inverse transformation, exponential transformation, asinh transformation, Box-Cox transformation, and Johnson transformation. The process of determining the optimal model was carried out considering five parameters: R2, R2(adj), R2(pred) (predicted R2), MAE (Mean Absolute Error), and MSE (Mean Squared Error). SRP (Simple Ranking Process) was the optimization method followed to identify the best regression model. The Box-Cox transformation was recognized as the most accurate surface grinding regression model.

Then, we give the fundamental properties of this new integral transformation and apply it to some elementary functions. Furthermore, we obtain the solutions of partial and fractional differential equations by means of this new integral transformation. Finally, we examine the relations between generalized Mellin transformations in the literature and the new generalized Mellin transformation and present a table showing the new integral transformations of functions commonly used in mathematics, physics and engineering applications.

Abstract:
A general theoretical and computational procedure for dealing with an exponential-logarithmic kinematic model for transformation stretch tensor in a multiphase phase field approach to stress- and temperature-induced martensitic transformations with N martensitic variants is developed for transformations between all possible crystal lattices. This kinematic model, where the natural logarithm of transformation stretch tensor is a linear combination of natural logarithm of the Bain tensors, yields isochoric variant–variant transformations for the entire transformation path. Such a condition is plausible and cannot be satisfied by the widely used kinematic model where the transformation stretch tensor is linear in Bain tensors. Earlier general multiphase phase field studies can handle commutative Bain tensors only. In the present treatment, the exact expressions for the first and second derivatives of the transformation stretch tensor with respect to the order parameters are obtained. Using these relations, the transformation work for austenite ↔ martensite and variant ↔ variant transformations is analyzed and the thermodynamic instability criteria for all homogeneous phases are expressed explicitly. The finite element procedure with an emphasis on the derivation of the tangent matrix for the phase field equations, which involves second derivatives of the transformation deformation gradients with respect to the order parameters, is developed. Change in anisotropic elastic properties during austenite–martensitic variants and variant–variant transformations is taken into account. The numerical results exhibiting twinned microstructures for cubic to orthorhombic and cubic to monoclinic-I transformations are presented.

Abstract:
The linear transformation is a function relating the vector ke . If , then the transformation is called a linear operator. Several examples of linear operators have been introduced since SMA such as reflexive, rotation, compression and expansion and shear. Apart from being introduced in SMA, these linear operators were also introduced to the linear algebra course. Linear transformations studied at the university level include linear transformation in finite dimension vector spaces . The discussion includes how to determine the standard matrix for reflexive linear transformations, rotation, compression and expansion and given shear. Through the column vectors of reflexive, rotation, compression and expansion and shear, a standard matrix of 2x2 size is formed for the corresponding linear transformation. however, in this study, the authors studied linear transformations in dimensioned vector spaces . The results of this study are if known is a vector space with finite and the standard matrix for reflexivity, rotation, expansion, compression and shear is obtained. Each of these linear transformations is performed on x-axis, y-axis and z-axis on to get column vectors. The column vectors as a result of the linear transformation at form the standard matrix for the corresponding linear transformation in the vector space. The standard matrix for linear transformations in the vector space is obtained by determining reflexivity, rotation, expansion, compression and shear. The process of obtaining a standard matrix for linear transformation is carried out by rewriting the standard basis, determining the column vectors, and rearranging them as the standard matrix for each linear transformation in the vector space

Abstract:
Abstract Background Malignant transformation represents the natural evolution of diffuse low-grade gliomas (LGG). This is a catastrophic event, causing neurocognitive symptoms, intensified treatment and premature death. However, little is known concerning the spatial distribution of malignant transformation in patients with LGG. Materials and methods Patients histopathological diagnosed with LGG and subsequent radiological malignant transformation were identified from two different institutions. We evaluated the spatial distribution of malignant transformation with (1) visual inspection and (2) segmentations of longitudinal tumor volumes. In (1) a radiological transformation site < 2 cm from the tumor on preceding MRI was defined local transformation. In (2) overlap with pretreatment volume after importation into a common space was defined as local transformation. With a centroid model we explored if there were particular patterns of transformations within relevant subgroups. Results We included 43 patients in the clinical evaluation, and 36 patients had MRIs scans available for longitudinal segmentations. Prior to malignant transformation, residual radiological tumor volumes were > 10 ml in 93% of patients. The transformation site was considered local in 91% of patients by clinical assessment. Patients treated with radiotherapy prior to transformation had somewhat lower rate of local transformations (83%). Based upon the segmentations, the transformation was local in 92%. We did not observe any particular pattern of transformations in examined molecular subgroups. Conclusion Malignant transformation occurs locally and within the T2w hyperintensities in most patients. Although LGG is an infiltrating disease, this data conceptually strengthens the role of loco-regional treatments in patients with LGG.

Abstract:
The paper is devoted to further study of a certain type of infinitesimal transformations of twodimensional (pseudo-) Riemannian spaces, which are called rotary. Aninfinitesimal transformation is called rotary if it maps any geodesic on (pseudo-) Riemannian space onto an isoperimetric extremal of rotation in their principal parts on (pseudo-) Riemannian space. We study basic equations of the infinitesimal rotary transformations in detail and obtain the simpler fundamental equations of these transformations.

Abstract:
The transformation of a modern socio-technical system is challenging. Notably, the digital transformation of an enterprise's business or operational model is an arduous journey toward success. Recent studies illustrate that 70% of business enterprise digital transformations fall short of their objectives. Without revenue-based performance indicators, the digital transformations of military organisations are, if possible, even more challenging. However, governance methods should assist in the complex transformation of interrelated features like human behaviour, business processes, information, data, and technology. Are they applied, and how feasible the standard Information and Communications Technology (ICT) governance methods are in supporting digital transformation in the defence sector? The paper studies how feasible the contemporary ICT -governance methods are for military organisations while executing digital transformation. The research implements the action research method since the researcher has participated in two journeys of military transformation. First, a review of these two cases shows the military utilisation of the governance methods and models. Second, the standard methods are reflected against the most challenging transformation problems to see if they could provide support. Third, the methods are challenged by the range of variety in complex system transformations to test their flexibility. Based on the research on two digital transformations, military enterprises seem to fall short in applying central ICT governance standards and methods. Therefore, they are not getting the best available support. Secondly, the contemporary governance methods do not address all the pain points in military transformation. Hence, the utilisation degree and transformation benefits are not well correlated. Thirdly, modern governance tools are inflexible in addressing various situations, transformation goals, and organisational maturity. In summary, the research surfaces some new gaps within the contemporary ICT governance toolbox when applied to the complex socio-technical transformation in the defence sector.

Abstract:
In the grinding process, the materials within the surface layer may undergo phase transformation and finally form a strengthened layer. It is of great significance to model the phase transformation and predict the characteristics of the strengthened layer accurately. The phase transformations occur under the varying temperature and high stress–strain in grinding, so the effects of stress on the transformations are inescapable. This paper focuses on revealing the effects of stress on phase transformations in grinding. For this purpose, a thermal–mechanical–metallurgical direct coupling finite element (FE) model of grinding was established in Abaqus. The coupling interactions such as the latent heat, the volume change strain caused by phase transformation, and the stress-induced phase transformation were considered in the modeling procedure. Grinding experiments were carried out and proved the model could accurately predict the microstructure distribution and thickness of the strengthened layer. Further, the evolution of the phase transformation was discussed, and the effects of stress on the transformations were revealed.

Abstract:
We have performed early LOC estimation of Web applications (apps) created using the Yii framework by three nonlinear regression models with three predictors based on the normalizing transformations. We used two univariate transformations (the decimal logarithm and the Box-Cox transformation) and the Box-Cox four-variate transformation for constructing nonlinear regression models. The nonlinear regression model constructed by the Box-Cox four-variate transformation has better size prediction results compared to other regression ones based on the univariate transformations.

Abstract:
We write down three kinds of scale transformations (i)–(iii) on the noncommutative plane. Transformation (i) is the analogue of standard dilations on the plane, transformation (ii) is a rescaling of the noncommutative parameter θ, and transformation (iii) is a combination of the previous two, whereby the defining relations for the noncommutative plane are preserved. The action of the three transformations is defined on gauge fields evaluated at fixed coordinates and θ. The transformations are obtained only up to terms which transform covariantly under gauge transformations. We give possible constraints on these terms. We show how the transformations (i) and (ii) depend on the choice of star product, and show the relation of (ii) to Seiberg–Witten transformations. Because transformation (iii) preserves the fundamental commutation relations it is a symmetry of the algebra. One has the possibility of implementing it as a symmetry of the dynamics, as well, in noncommutative field theories where θ is not fixed.

Instead, mathematical transformations are used for deriving VCG from 12-leads ECG. In this work, Kors quasi-orthogonal transformation, inverse Dower transformation, Kors regression transformation, and linear regression-based transformations for deriving P wave (PLSV) and QRS complex (QLSV) are implemented and compared. These transformation methods were not yet compared before, so we have selected them for this paper. Transformation methods were compared for the data from the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) database and their accuracy was evaluated using a mean squared error (MSE) and a correlation coefficient (R) between the derived and directly measured Frank’s leads. Based on the statistical analysis, Kors regression transformation was significantly more accurate for the derivation of the X and Y leads than the others. For the Z lead, there were no statistically significant differences in the medians between Kors regression transformation and the PLSV and QLSV methods. This paper thoroughly compared multiple VCG transformation methods to conventional VCG Frank’s orthogonal lead system, used in clinical practice.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to a thorough study of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the essence of the transformation of socio-economic relations of the national economy. Based on the study of scientific sources, a proper definition of the concept of "transformation of socio-economic relations" was formed. It is proposed to consider transformational processes from the point of view of their direct or indirect impact on other sectors and the economy in general. The need to understand and perceive the essence of transformation from the point of view of the transformation of socio-economic relations as such is well-founded. The article formulates the author's approaches to identifying the types of transformation of socio-economic relations, it’s possible and confirmed forms of manifestation, basic characteristics and features. The author's understanding of the concept of transformation potential of socio-economic relations of the national economy and the transformation cycle is outlined. A vision of the intensity, efficiency and frequency of transformational changes and the limits of transformation was formed. Characterization of the period and stages of transformational changes that lead to socio-economic shocks and cause socio-economic instability, periods of fluctuations, including ups and downs, socio-economic crisis, transformational trap is made.
