Global position system (GPS) and Local position system (LPS) have important rols in several applications in real life such as helthcare, monitoring and tracking, etc. GPS has many limitations due to some reason, the signal has lack when used inside bulding this is becouse of lack of line of sight (LoS). Therefore LPS is one of best solution which used to avoide weakness problem and it become very necessary for estimate user’s or object position inside buliding with a good accuracy. This paper gives a servay on LPS technologies. Furthermore, the LPS’s applications such as trackimg which is involved several types like human tracking, object tracking, animal tracking and AGV tracking which is done by previous researches are presented

Abstract:
WYNIKI I WNIOSKI: Self-tracking przynosi obietnicę dogłębnego poznania swego ciała i umysłu – a więc odkrycia i, na ile to możliwe, przekształcenia swej tożsamości. Praktyka ta daje wrażenie lepszej, skuteczniejszej kontroli swego życia (przede wszystkim swej cielesności), a dzięki temu – poszerzenia możliwości kreowania tożsamości. I zapewne w jakimś zakresie faktycznie pomaga realizować te cele.

Abstract:
Fast video tracking can result in irregular sampling tracking problem. This paper transforms the irregular sampling measurement to the time-varying parameters and develops a model with adaptive parameters on line by the autocorrelation function of Markov random processing. Simulations and experiments show the good fast-tracking performance can be get by the model developed here even at very high irregular rate of measurement sampling time.

Abstract:
The efficient target tracking algorithm researches have become current research focus of intelligent robots. The main problems of target tracking process in mobile robot face environmental uncertainty. They are very difficult to estimate the target states, illumination change, target shape changes, complex backgrounds, and other factors and all affect the occlusion in tracking robustness. To further improve the target tracking’s accuracy and reliability, we present a novel target tracking algorithm to use visual saliency and adaptive support vector machine (ASVM). Furthermore, the paper’s algorithm has been based on the mixture saliency of image features. These features include color, brightness, and sport feature. The execution process used visual saliency features and those common characteristics have been expressed as the target’s saliency. Numerous experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and timeliness of the proposed target tracking algorithm in video sequences where the target objects undergo large changes in pose, scale, and illumination.

Abstract:
For the problem that appearance of human will be changed in motion, it is a challenge to those capabilities of tracker, related to adaptation of human appearance. In the paper, an improved Tracking-Learning-Detection algorithm, including short-term-tracking, real-time-detection and online-learning, is proposed. Furthermore, scale-invariant feature is applied to the short-term-tracking to determine the location of target in consecutive frames. The video stream of the PETS2006 database is utilized to evaluate the proposed algorithm. Experiments results demonstrate the effectiveness, especially on the short-term-tracking performance.

Abstract:
In the original compression tracking algorithm, the size of the tracking box is fixed. There should be better tracking results for scale-invariant objects, but worse tracking results for scale-variant objects. To overcome this defect, a scale-adaptive compressive tracking (CT) algorithm is proposed. First of all, the imbalance of the gray and texture features in the original CT algorithm is balanced by the multi-feature method, which makes the algorithm more robust. Then, searching different candidate regions by using the method of multi-scale search along with feature normalization makes the features extracted from different scales comparable. Finally, the candidate region with the maximum discriminate degree is selected as the object region. Thus, the tracking-box size is adaptive. The experimental results show that when the object scale changes, the improving CT algorithm has higher accuracy and robustness than the original CT algorithm.

Abstract:
Too often, identifying practices of silencing is a seemingly impossible exercise. Here I claim that attempting to give a conceptual reading of the epistemic violence present when silencing occurs can help distinguish the different ways members of oppressed groups are silenced with respect to testimony. I offer an account of epistemic violence as the failure, owing to pernicious ignorance, of hearers to meet the vulnerabilities of speakers in linguistic exchanges. Ultimately, I illustrate that by focusing on the ways in which hearers fail to meet speaker dependency in a linguistic exchange, efforts can be made to demarcate the different types of silencing people face when attempting to testify from oppressed positions in society.
