Abstract:
Abstract Tourism development using social media or policy-makers favor Instagrammable Tourism due to its assumed effects on destination image, social and infrastructure developments, and economic benefits. However, the dynamics of making a tourism destination instagrammable sometimes bring up conditions that ignore the aspects of sustainable environmental management. Tourism business actors who process natural lands into artificial instagrammable tourist attractions and consumer behavior that damages the aesthetic value of tourist destinations are few operational examples of outcomes caused by local policies related to instagrammable tourism. This paper aims to present the description and implementation of local government policies in instagrammable tourism management from two different areas of Kaliurang in Sleman regency and Tawangmangu in Karanganyar Regency. Data in local tourism development policy, spatial plans, and land use in tourist destinations were analyzed using descriptive qualitative, descriptive statistics, and policy analysis methods. The analysis results show that the two tourist areas have been regulated and managed based on local regulations. The local regulation interpretations can be seen in the different directions of the two tourism area developments. The different emphasis on the orientations of tourism area managements bear implications on implementing a sustainable environmental management concept.

Abstract:
Travel and tourism (travel & tourism) – forms of leisure activities that combine different types of recreation. Tourism in Russia is developing dynamically, but ambiguously. Kuzbass is a territory with unique natural, cultural and historical resources that make up the tourism potential of the region. But when determining the strategy of the tourism industry, the assessment of the tourism potential was not carried out. The article analyzes the problems of assessing the tourist potential of the Kemerovo region. The results of the author’s study of the tourism potential showed that the resources of the region (natural, historical, cultural) are practically not taken into account by tourism development programs. One of the reasons is the limited understanding of the Kuzbass tourism development strategy. Analysis of the problem of using the tourist potential of the Kemerovo region showed that the main driver of tourism development today is ski tourism. Another reason lies in the exclusion of the main link from management schemes – a person with his needs and preferences in recreation and travel. Expanding the strategic horizons of managing the tourism industry in the region, studying the needs of people in the field of tourist leisure determine the vectors of tourism development in Kuzbass. The authors of the article believe that the assessment of tourism potential should be carried out not only by describing the presence / absence of a particular resource, but also based on the uniqueness of resource objects, their diversity, density of distribution within the region, accessibility, and their physical condition. The authors analyze the strategy for the development of the tourism industry in Kuzbass, adopted by the regional administration, using an expert survey and mapping. As a result of the analysis of documents describing the scheme of the Kuzbass tourist cluster, additional opportunities were identified for the development of the tourist potential of the region.

Abstract:
Sustainability, The management of the Sangka Pane waterfall tourist attraction is still not optimal. With the lack of facilities and infrastructure, especially road access which is still tricky, the condition of the tourist attraction is not maintained. This study uses a qualitative research approach with a descriptive type. Planning the local government has made a master plan for the tourism development of Aceh Tamiang Regency for 2019-2025. The program for the development of the Suku Pane tourism object is already in the UKL-UPL, but it is still not mature enough to apply what has been planned; the tourism office and pokdarwis have tried and implemented well to advance the potential of tourism objects, only the program implementation has been hampered due to limited budget funds during the pandemic, and there must be good cooperation from the community, investors, and forestry parties because the tourism object is located in a protected forest area. Supervision is carried out by the tourism office by monitoring via WhatsApp or telephone and going directly to the field, but for the period, it is still uncertain and not routinely, so the Aceh Tamiang government evaluates the continuation of the management of the Sangka pane waterfall, and the government is currently more focused on the development of the waterfall One thousand. Factors inhibiting the management of Sangka Waterfall tourism objects are influenced by internal factors, including limited budget during the pandemic, lack of quality human resources, lack of cooperation with investors and forestry, and the ratification of retribution regulations and the shifting of government attention to Seribu Waterfall which according to calculations budget is more efficient and easy for visitors to reach. In contrast, external factors include: lack of community participation, geographical conditions of tourist attractions, and lack of tourist attraction due to road access and tourist support facilities that have not been realized, and visitors prefer the Seribu waterfall, which is easier to reach.

Abstract:
Structural equation model (LISREL 8) was applied to test the causal relationships between tourist travel motivations and tourist destination.A survey containing Likert scale questions was conducted to collect data from 100 tourists who had travelled to Greece’s tourist destination. With the help of factor analysis, four dimensions were identified for scales used in the study: travel cost satisfaction, tourism product, tourism product attributes, and tourism product management. Results indicated that the travel cost satisfaction of tourists has a positive influence on tourism product, tourism product attributes and tourism product management. Moreover, our results suggested that the tourist demographics has a positive influence on tourism product and tourism product attributes and has an insignificant relationship with tourism product management. Based on our findings the tourist demographics has not influence on tourism product management. However, these findings suggest that both the private tourism and the governmental tourism sector should develop a better management of tourist destinations so as to develop a stronger attraction of tourism, better amenities, a better accessibility, an appropriate image, to make tourism competitive and to keep tourism product prices at a reasonable level. The implications of the tourism demand model can be used for the public environmental policy-making process based mainly on reasons of interest, ideology or understanding.

<p class="Abstract">Tourism is an industrial sector that is proliferating and promises benefits to large groups of people. This growth encourages the formation of tourist destinations consisting of infrastructure, supporting communities, and tourist attractions in many places. Some tourist destinations highlight the culture of the people as part of a tourist attraction. Using local culture as a tourist attraction will inevitably lead to a shift in the values and meanings of the culture. Culture consists of three dimensions; artifacts, behaviors, and ideas. Dimensions of ideas from culture include, among others, beliefs and knowledge that are owned and passed down from generation to generation through formal and non-formal education processes. In the context of culture as a tourist attraction, the dimensions of local cultural ideas will adapt to the tourism paradigm. Local beliefs will become a part of an economic system that emphasizes uniqueness in its interactions with other beliefs. Local knowledge, which includes factual, conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive knowledge, initially a process of adaptation of local communities to their environment, is now part of the tourism paradigm. Because of its global nature, the tourism paradigm is a paradigm that has universal standards. Therefore, epistemological awareness is needed to meet the dimensions of local cultural ideas and the global tourism paradigm. Abstract:
The tourism industry has an important role to improve economic and community welfare. In several regions, the industry boosts the regional economy as the main income source. Realizing this, the government has been currently trying to develop tourism potentials in their respective areas. North Sulawesi is one of the priorities for developing tourist destinations by the central government, and one of the tourist objects is Likupang. By setting Likupang as one of the priorities for developing tourist destinations, it will afford opportunities for the City of Manado to increase revenue from the tourism sector. Thus, a tourism management policy is needed to harmonize environmental, socio-cultural, and economic aspects. Manado City tourism management policy is assessed with The Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) by looking at the degree of importance based on experts’ opinions. Overall policy assessment refers to four aspects, namely environmental, socio-cultural, economic, and political aspects. Based on the weighting results, the availability of employment has the highest value. Meanwhile, for the assessment of alternative policies, the first integrated management policy between the main tourist objects around has the highest value.

Abstract:
Background: With the worldwide spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the global economy has entered a cold winter, and the International Monetary Fund predicts that the global economy will shrink by about 3% in 2020. The outbreak of the epidemic has also caused heavy losses to the Chinese economy. In the first quarter of 2020, actual GDP fell sharply for the first time by 6.8% year-on-year for the first time. This is the first decline since record. Then, according to the data from the business survey in March, China's economy has improved compared with February, which shows that the economy has rebounded under the influence of policies. Judging from the current situation, although China has passed the peak period of the epidemic, affected by the high cases abroad, it can only be carried out slowly for the resumption of production. Enterprises, as micro-individuals under the macro economy, need to pass through analyzing the dynamic management of the enterprise to deepen the reform of the commercial system and stimulate the vitality of the enterprise. This will also provide data support for the government formulating relevant policies, which is conducive to the synergy of various policies and enhance the momentum of economic recovery. On the other hand, we choose tourism as our specific research object. Thus, we need to set different scenarios according to the development situation of the epidemic, evaluate the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic on China's tourism industry, and discuss tourism development and opportunities in the post-epidemic era from the aspects of tourism's response to the epidemic and the development trend of the tourism after the epidemic4. Methods: This dissertation first discusses the issue of enterprise dynamic management in the post covid-19 epidemic era, establishes the Difference-in-Difference model (DID model), and improves the model reasonably. It puts forward the dynamic management plan of different regions, and judges the effect of the policy on the implementation of the epidemic. At the same time, it also aims at the impact of the epidemic on the tourism industry at the important time points. The elasticity method and linear regression are used to evaluate and forecast.Using transportation data as a leading indicator, the elasticity of the total number of tourists Et1 and the elasticity of total tourism revenue Ei1 during the Spring Festival and Spring Festival are calculated to be 1.39 and 1.60 respectively. The impact of COVID-19 on the Spring Festival tourism market is evaluated through the Spring Festival elasticity; During the period, the elasticity of the International Workers’ Day tourism market relative to the Spring Festival tourism market Et2 、Ei2 is calculated to be 1.14 and 0.9024 respectively through data over the years. Combining the forecast results of the Spring Festival tourism market and the data calibration of different forecast scenarios, the International Workers’ Day is predicted. The total number of tourist trips and total tourism revenue during the period; for the National Holiday, the above ideas are used to calculate the elasticity of the National Holiday tourism market relative to the Spring Festival and International Workers’ Day tourism markets Et3 、 Ei3 , which are 0.69 and 0.94, respectively , predicting the total number of tourists and total tourism revenue during the National Holiday period. Findings: The results based on DID model analysis show that the significance level of the policy to the GDP of Jiangsu Province is 32%. The saliency level in Hubei province is 37%. In the first quarter of the year 2020, the total travel time and total tourism revenue of the first quarter of the year 2020 are predicted, and the logarithmic linear regression equation is established based on the total tourist arrivals and the total tourism revenue in the year 2020 as the explanatory variables of total tourism trips and total tourism revenue in the first quarter. The total number of tourist trips in the first quarter of the year 2020 is 394 million, a decrease of 74.42% over the same period last year, and the total value of tourism revenue is 319 billion 565 million yuan, a decrease of 77.01% over the same period last year. The counter-factual prediction value of the total number of tourists in the first quarter of the year 2020 is 1 billion 676 million, and the counter-factual prediction value of the total tourism revenue is 1 trillion and 580 billion yuan. During the first half of the year 2020, the total number of tourists and the total tourism revenue in the first half of the year are predicted. The total number of tourists in the first quarter and the International Workers’ Day is used as the explanatory variables of the total travel time in the first half of the year. Logarithmic linear regression equations are established respectively and replaced by the estimated values. The predicted value of the total tourist arrivals in the first half of the year 2020 is 1 billion 440 million, which is 53.25% lower than that in the same period last year. The forecast value of total tourism revenue is 1 trillion and 165 billion 98 million yuan, with a decrease of 58.09%. Compared with the same period last year, the potential decline of the total number of tourists in the first half of the year 2020 is 1 billion 911 million, with a decrease of 57.03%, resulting in a potential loss of 1 trillion and 994 billion 902 million yuan and a loss ratio of 63.13% for tourism total revenue. Under the optimistic forecast, the total number of tourist trips in the year 2020 is 4 billion 659 million. A decrease of 23.12% compared with the same period last year, and the total value of tourism revenue is 4 trillion and 807 billion 295 million yuan, 26.27% lower than that of the same period last year. Under the prudent forecast, the total number of tourist trips in the year 2020 is 3 billion 941 million, a decrease of 34.97% over the same period last year, and the total value of tourism revenue is 3 trillion and 922 billion 883 million yuan, a decrease of 39.83%, over the same period of the last year. Interpretation: China's economy has been affected by the epidemic to varying degrees in all sectors, especially in the tertiary sector. And because the outbreak situation in China did not look good in the first quarter of 2020, almost all companies made a loss in the first quarter of 2020. To address the economic downturn, the Chinese government has taken various measures, such as issuing coupons to stimulate consumption, discounting promotions, etc. And as the domestic epidemic situation in China continues to improve, more and more companies have resumed normal operations in the last two months. It is believed that in the near future, China's economic situation will be significantly better than in the first quarter.

Abstract:
This research focuses on the involvement of local communities as SMEs in the tourism sector in the coastal tourism area of Batam City. This study is based on the argument that MSMEs offer welfare to local communities and at the same time become an attraction in tourist destinations. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach with primary and secondary data collection. Primary data collection was carried out through focus group discussions and interviews with local governments and communities as MSME actors, as well as field observations in four coastal areas. While secondary data is collected through the collection of documents related to the research focus. The results of this study indicate that (1) local communities are still not optimally involved in becoming MSME actors in the tourism sector in coastal tourism areas, due to limited knowledge of exploiting economic opportunities (2) culinary potential, crafts and tourist attractions have the opportunity to be developed as attractions in the area coastal tourism in Batam City. Curation of culinary and craft products, as well as packaging of local culture as tourist attractions (3) local communities have limited access to local government programs related to human resource training and improving service quality at destinations. Tourism awareness groups in the four coastal tourism areas that were observed continue to work to mobilize local communities to get involved. Exploring the potential of culinary, craft and tourist attractions requires optimal local government involvement. The role of local government and local communities jointly synergizes in improving the quality of coastal tourism areas through the involvement of local communities as SMEs in the tourism sector. Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to study the peculiarities of the project approach to marketing management in tourism, which in the conditions of modern changes, which in today's conditions will allow tourism business enterprises to be more flexible, endure and continue to develop in crisis situations. The article considers project management as an important component of management in tourism. The significance of the project approach to marketing management in tourism has been studied. The significance of the project approach to marketing management in tourism is characterized as an important direction in increasing the competitiveness of tourism business enterprises. The main aspects of marketing project management at tourism business enterprises are considered. Since in today's conditions of rapid development of society, the requirements of tourists are increasingly changing not only for the tourist product, but also for its promotion on the market. Increasingly, tourism business enterprises need to work ahead of time in order to find out what will be of interest to tourists in the future and to determine trends in the development of tourism business. This cannot be done without a comprehensive approach to marketing management in tourism in order to use all possible resources in such activities. In this case, to date, the most promising and comprehensive is the project approach to marketing management in tourism, which involves the teamwork of the entire enterprise during the creation and implementation of marketing projects, and not the work of only one marketing department. The project approach in the creation and implementation of a tourist product is extremely important today, because the requirements for the complexity of the tourist product can be fulfilled only with the comprehensive activity of all employees of the enterprise through the implementation of the tasks of the marketing project.

Abstract:
Ecotourism is tourism development that prioritizes the sustainability of tourist objects in a sustainable manner that arises as a response to natural conditions that experience over-exploitation and are uncontrollable which cause damage to tourist objects that threaten their sustainability. Ecotourism is a form of tourism that takes place at tourist objects without damaging or disturbing the sustainability of these tourism objects. Semenanjung Nusaniwe is in Nusaniwe District in Ambon City, has more than 22 tourist objects that have been developed but have not been touched by development. Such conditions require analysis that will guide future developments. This writing is based on the results of research on 225 respondents to visitors to tourist attractions, as well as people who live around tourist attractions. The analysis used is the pattern of estimating the economic value of ecotourism based on the travel cost method (TCM). The determination of the socio-economic factors that affect the cost of travel to the Nusaniwe Peninsula area is tested using the Linear Regression Method. The results of the study show that many tourist objects in Nusaniwe District have been identified, and some have not been identified. This tourism object is always visited by the community and can generate income. The highest consumer surplus value is in the Tanjung Batu Konde Beach Tourist Attraction Object (ODTW), which is IDR. 208,355.00, and the lowest is at Sumber Jaya Beach, namely IDR. 12,545.50. The highest total economic value is in Tanjung Batu Konde, namely IDR. 352,033,800.00, and the lowest is also found at Sumber Jaya Beach, namely IDR. 8,480,758.00. Starting from the results of the calculations above, it can be concluded that if the tourism objects in Nusaniwe Sub district can be well developed, it is certain that each OTDW will be able to contribute to increasing income for the community around the tourist attraction as well as for the Village Government, State Government and even the City Government.

Abstract:
This paper deals with the problems of destination management. It focuses on describing the crucial principles of destination management and consecutively on proving the functionality of these principles in practice in an area with a high potential for tourism development. In the selected South-Moravian region (JMK), we have explored whether an existing organization of destination management can be found in this region (DMC Destination Management Company) and to which extent it participates in the management and efficient development of tourism. To reach the set targets, we have used a secondary analysis of current data, a depth interview with a destination agency manager and an orientation questionnaire survey among business subjects. The results have shown that the level of cooperation between the destination agency in the JMK and the subjects of tourism is not on such a level and not as intensive as proclaimed by the South-Moravian Tourist Authority (CCRJM – the organization established with the aim of destination management in the JMK). For example, 50% of the addressed subjects have not been aware of the existence of this organization and only 10% of the companies have been addressed to cooperate with the CCRJM. The insufficient cooperation of public and private sectors appears to be the weakest segment. This causes an inconsistent presentation and isolation in preparing projects for the region development. It is the task for destination management, a new organization of tourism, to find the way how to cope with these difficulties and how to make the JMK a unified and quality destinations that would be attractive for tourists.

The publishers of this edited volume rightly claim that it should be required reading for a varied audience interested in wildlife tourism including tourism professionals, wildlife managers, recreation managers, researchers, and general readers with an interest in the role of wildlife tourism. I volunteered to review this book, since I readily confess to being a wildlife tourist at times, and I was curious as to the inner workings of the industry. This volume provides an eye-opening viewpoint on wildlife tourism to someone outside the field

Abstract:
Environmental management is used as a management system for various types of activities that can cause damage to nature, it promotes the creation and development of environmentally friendly industrial activities, as well as promotes the development of environmental culture among citizens. Environmental management is an important component of the management of a modern enterprise, allowing you to achieve balance in the system of relations “nature-production activity». The development of tourism based on the extraction of maximum profit has led to the emergence of various environmental, economic and social problems in tourist areas. The development of green tourism helps to reduce the level of negative impact of tourism on the natural environment. Agrotourism, in addition to environmental problems, allows us to solve a number of socio-economic problems in rural areas. Agrotourism contributes to the formation of a harmonious relationship between man and nature

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between tourism and climate change and, hence, to understand the impact of climate change on tourist destinations. Design/methodology/approach A conceptual analysis of secondary data was extracted and analyzed. The framework and policy implications for the study were obtained from online secondary data and by interaction with representatives of a state authority. Findings The findings from the study show that the impact of climate change on tourism is likely to manifest itself in a number of different ways according to local conditions. Climate and weather are connected with tourism and recreational activities. The paper shows the importance of climate for tourism because climate itself is an attraction. Climate and weather are among the most important attributes to influence tourist decision-making. Changing the climate and weather conditions of any destination may affect the tourists’ comfort and travel decisions, and due to the changing demand pattern and tourist flows, tourism businesses and host communities suffer. Cancellation of any trip due to bad weather causes dissatisfaction and those affected may avoid visiting the destination again. Temperature is also one of the most important climate variables in the analysis of tourism demands as it affects comfort. Originality/value This original piece of work suggests that climatic conditions control destination choice and this influences the tourism demands for a given destination.

Abstract:
The varied natural potential makes Bogor Regency has a lot of natural tourism potential. Its location in the highlands adds to the attraction of tourists to visit. One of the natural tourist destinations in Bogor Regency is Cipamingkis waterfall, the location of this waterfall is in Wargajaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency. Sukamakmur district actually has several tourist attractions, such as the Kahyangan villa and the Ciherang waterfall. However, the existence of this tourist attraction has not had a significant impact on the villagers, most of the villagers still rely on agricultural fields as their livelihood. In addition, the village youth have not played a role in the management of tourism objects. They prefer to work outside the village rather than develop their village. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide training in managing and developing tourism objects in Sukamakmur district, the concept of community-based tourism management or better known as Community Based Tourism (CBT). The training was carried out in three stages, including program socialization, group discussions, and the last stage was tourism management planning. The results of these activities, in the socialization stage, the youth of Sukamakmur district actually have the motivation to manage and develop tourism objects in Sukamakmur district. However, it is constrained by limited knowledge about the management of tourism objects. The second stage of activity tries to dig up information on the existence of the tourist attraction, so that several alternative tourism development plans are obtained. In the last stage, it is activated to try alternative tourism objects that can be developed in Sukamakmur district with the hope that Sukamakmur district becomes a Tourism Village and residents get a positive impact.

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to demonstrate how customer knowledge management (CKM) can assist destination management organizations (DMOs) in the smart management of the tourist experience to contribute to the creation of smart solutions and the promotion of smart tourism destinations (STDs). To accomplish it, a CKM conceptual framework aligned with smart tourism and composed of eight processes is developed to guide managers in this management. Design/methodology/approach This research adopts the design science research methodology and applies its steps. It was supported by a systematic integrative literature review on CKM models and frameworks and their main elements, as well as by semi-structured interviews with tourism specialists in the context of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Findings From the literature it appears that tourist experiences are customer knowledge essential to the improvement and innovation of tourism products and services, and that CKM, still little explored in this scenario, tends to contribute to the management of this crucial knowledge for smart tourism. The analyses and improvements to the structure developed by specialists show its applicability and contributions to the management of STD experiences. Originality/value This paper offers an original contribution to the integration of the theoretical constructs of CKM, tourist experience and STDs by showing how the CKM, from tourism experiences, technologies and social networks, can assist DMOs in the management of experiences and promotion of STDs.
