Abstract:
Çalışma, tasarımcı adaylarına verilen bir proje konusunun tasarımcıların sahip olduğu tinsel yaklaşımlar ile değerlendirilmesi üzerine kurgulanmıştır. Tasarımcılar kendilerine verilen konuyu temel tasarım elemanlarından biri olan “değer” ilkesini kullanarak çalışma alanına yönelik yapılan alan analizini tinsel yaklaşımlarla değerlendirerek iki farklı alan analiz modeli (renkli ve renksiz) geliştirmişlerdir. Çalışmada tasarımcılardan istenilen soyut düşünceleri somutlaştırarak peyzaj mimarlığı projelerinin ilk aşamasında kullanılan alan analizine farklı bir kavramsal açıdan ele almalarıdır. Bu doğrultuda ele alınan alan analizi yaklaşımlarında tasarımcıların doğaya sıklıkla öykündüğü gözlemlenirken sahip oldukları tinsel yaklaşımlarıda rahatlıkla tasarıma aktarabildikleri görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak bireylerin sahip olduğu tinsel yaklaşımının hem peyzaj mimarlığı eğitiminde verilen proje tasarım eğitimi ile birleştirebildikleri hem de tasarımlarında “doğaya öykünme ile bireysel özgünlük” ün bir arada kullanılabilecekleri görülmüştür.

Abstract:
During a butterfly survey in the remote village of Gailung in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, one Common Tinsel was recorded on 27th March 2023. The butterfly was photographed and identified with the help of field guides as Catapaecilma major Druce, 1895 (Lepidoptera, Lycaenidae). The habitat was adjacent to local terrace farmland and was dominated by plants such as Ageratum conyzoides, Oxalis sp., Urtica sp., Fluggea virosa, and Bauhinia variegata. The butterfly was observed resting on the leaves of Ageratina adenophora. and was noted for its swift flight. The current communication highlights the first observation of Common Tinsel from the Garhwal Himalaya after 1930s.

Abstract:
A travers l’évolution du costume de scène et de sa représentation dans les arts graphiques, la thèse explore les éclairages croisés que jettent l’un sur l’autre le développement du costume de scène historique et la construction d’une pensée et d’une culture historique en Grande-Bretagne, entre 1776 et 1834. L'histoire du costume de scène historique, avant les mises en scène érudites du milieu du XIXème siècle, est généralement évoquée en termes de costumes "Van Dyck" stéréotypés. C'est pourtant dans la deuxième moitié du XVIIIème siècle que se développent l'engouement pour l’étude des antiquités et pour les collections de portraits gravés, l'esthétique du pittoresque et celle du néo-gothique. La période se caractérise également par le succès des romans historiques et le désir général de la part du public d'en savoir plus sur les coutumes – et les costumes – du passé. Cette analyse interdisciplinaire replace le costume de scène dans le contexte plus large de la culture visuelle et historique de la fin du XVIIIème siècle et du début du XIXème. L’étude de documents liés aux théâtres londoniens ainsi que de tableaux, gravures, illustrations, spectacles et expositions a permis de montrer que la représentation du costume de scène historique dans les arts visuels reflète de nouvelles manières de concevoir et de représenter l'histoire, profondément marquées par l'intérêt pour la vie quotidienne des époques passées et l'attention portée à la matérialité du costume. Cette thèse suggère que le costume historique au théâtre et sa représentation dans le portrait d'acteur sous ses nombreuses formes (tableaux, estampes, illustrations…) participèrent au processus plus large de définition de l'art et de l'identité britannique dans la période 1776-1834
This thesis explores the relationships between stage costume and British historical culture in the period 1776-1834. Until the painstakingly researched antiquarian stagings of the mid-nineteenth century, the history of historical stage costume has typically been described in terms of a stereotyped ‘Van Dyck dress’. Yet the period witnessed the expansion of antiquarianism and portrait print collecting, the development of the Picturesque and Neo-Gothic aesthetics, the success of historical novels and a general desire to know more about the habits and costumes of the past. This interdisciplinary analysis situates stage costume within the wider visual and historical culture of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Drawing on theatrical material related to the London theatres as well as paintings, engravings, book illustrations, shows and exhibitions, this study argues that the representation of historical stage costume in the visual arts reflects new ways of conceiving and depicting history, in which interest in the everyday life of past periods and a focus on the material and the visual were fundamental. This thesis suggests that ht historical costume in the theatre and its representation in theatrical portraiture played a role in a broader process that sought to define British art and identity

Tinpet es una plataforma digital que permite conectar a los doglovers para encontrarle pareja a su mascota o entablar una amistad vía georreferenciación. Nuestros principales consumidores son los doglovers, lo que significa que están dispuestos a pagar por usar nuestra plataforma digital con la finalidad de relacionar a sus mascotas con otras, es por ello que en el estudio que se hizo a los doglovers, nos dijeron que no escatiman en gastos para el bienestar de sus mascotas, esta propuesta cumple con sus expectativas. Así mismo, la plataforma digital brindará y tendrá anuncios de las veterinarias mejor posicionadas, avisos de los eventos que les permita socializar con sus mascotas, recomendaciones de veterinarios, entre otras opciones. Para acceder a la plataforma digital, es de forma gratuita, desde cualquier laptop o Smartphone. Esta plataforma digital generará ingresos a través del uso de la interacción por buscar pareja, a través de un pago de S/. 15 soles mensuales que les permitirá el uso de las opciones plus de Tinpet. En este sentido se necesitará S/. 117,320 para la implementación inicial de Tinpet. Para ello, se realizará un aporte de capital equivalente al 60%, siendo necesario el ingreso de un nuevo accionista con un aporte de capital del 40% para el desarrollo total del proyecto. A partir del 2019, nuestras ventas asciende a S/. 222,575 soles, con un COK de rentabilidad de 14.99%, siendo ello rentable para los socios. Tomando en cuenta el escenario pesimista de una TIR de 39.58%, siendo favorable en la rentabilidad del proyecto. Tinpet is a digital platform that allows doglovers to connect and find their pets a mate or to establish a friendship via georeferencing. Our main consumers are doglovers, which means they are willing to pay to use our digital platform in order to link their pets to others, which is why in the study that was done to the doglovers, they told us that they do not skimp in expenses of the welfare of their pets; this proposal meets your expectations. Likewise, the digital platform will provide and have announcements of the best positioned veterinarians, notices of the events that allow them to socialize with their pets, recommendations of veterinarians, among other options. To access the digital platform, it is free of charge, from any laptop or Smartphone. This digital platform will generate income through the use of interaction to find a mate, and through a payment of S /. 15 soles per month that will allow them to use the additional or plus Tinpet options. In this sense, S /. 117,320 for the initial implementation of Tinpet will be needed. To do this, a contribution of capital equivalent to 60% will be made, and the entry of a new shareholder with a capital contribution of 40% is necessary for the total development of the project. As of 2019, our sales amount to S/. 222,575 soles, with a profitability COK of 14.99%, which is profitable for the partners. Taking into account the pessimistic scenario of a TIR of 39.58%, being favorable in the profitability of the Project

Actualmente, el mercado peruano no ofrece soluciones a esta necesidad, que permita relacionar a los dueños y sus mascotas, por ello es que TinPet ofrece una opción innovadora, distinta y mejorada a todas las que existen. Nuestros clientes son los dueños de mascotas que buscan una vida canina y gatuna saludable para los suyos. Por ello, la innovación de este proyecto es la de desarrollar un aplicativo que resuelva la necesidad de relacionar a los dueños y sus mascotas, poder emparejarlas y en el mejor de los casos, que estos tengan crías. Entonces, la solución que se propone es la de crear una plataforma móvil, el nuevo Tinder para mascotas, donde las personas con la misma necesidad puedan contactarse en tiempo real con otras y puedan beneficiarse mutuamente con este nuevo modelo de negocio. Finalmente, este proyecto generará un ingreso rentable el primer año de lanzado al mercado, esto a través de las descargas premium y espacios publicitarios como un inicio. Los socios estratégicos que se consigan con el tiempo lograrán dar estabilidad y crecimiento a la empresa con una proyección futura.
The problems are the constant stress attacks or hyperactivity that suffer our conceited kids at home, that’s the main reason why pet lovers have to find several alternatives to help diminish this conflict. Actually, the Peruvian market does not offer solution to this need, that allows to relate the owners with their respective pet, that’s the reason why TinPet offers an innovative idea, different and improved in comparison with all the other alternatives in the market. Our client are the owners of pets that are looking for healthier canine and feline lives. This is why the innovation of this project is to develop that resolves the need to relate owners that have an interest in matching their respective pets and in the best possible outcome, for their pets to have kittens or puppies. So, the solution that we propose is to create a mobile platform, the new Tinder for pets where people with the same needs can contact with others at real time and benefit mutually with this new business model. Finally, this project will generate an income in the first year of being launched in the market, through the premium downloads and advertising space is that we will get this at first. Syftet med denna studie var att bidra till ökad kunskap om människors självuppfattningargenom konsumtionen av Tinder och för att uppnå detta har unga människors erfarenheter ochföreställningar om Tinder analyserats. Uppsatsen har en induktiv ansats och ett kvalitativttillvägagångssätt. Materialet samlades in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer och för attkomplettera detta genomfördes även netnografiska intervjuer. Från empirin skapades entematisering utifrån informanternas utsagor och tre huvudteman arbetades fram. Det förstahuvudtemat behandlade Tinders olika konsumtionsområden, Konsumera Tinder, som är avvikt i analysen framförallt genom sin förklaringsfaktor till de två efterkommande teman;Tinder - dejting eller hook-up samt Tinder och självet. Det empiriska materialet analyseradesutifrån socialpsykologiska teorier om självet och konsumtion. I uppsatsen finns ett flertalspänningsfält som framkom under intervjuerna och däribland finns spänningsfältet huruvidaTinder är en dejting eller en hook-up app. Detta tema studerades utifrån flera underteman föratt slutligen leda fram till att konsumtionen av Tinder har en inverkan i unga människorssjälvuppfattning. I studien framkom att ett antal olika sätt unga människor konsumerar Tinderpå och beroende på hur Tinder konsumeras kommer skilda självuppfattningar till uttryck.Vidare redogör studien för att unga människor konstruerar en förskönad presentation av sigsjälva på Tinder och det framkom en medvetenhet om att denna presentation inte stämmermed verkligheten. Unga vuxna förskönar sina presentationer i förhoppningen om att uppnåfler matchningar och med detta beteende visade det sig följa en objektifiering där andraanvändare snarare sågs som ett objekt än en person.
The purpose of this study was to contribute to increased knowledge of individuals selfperceptionsthrough the consumption of Tinder. To fulfill the purpose, young individualsexperiences and beliefs about Tinder have been analyzed. The thesis has an inductive and aqualitative approach.The empirical material was collected through semi-structured interviews,and in addition to this, netnographic interviews were conducted. From the empirical work, athematicization was created based on the statements of the informants and three main themeswere devised. The first main theme approached Tinder's different consumption areas,Consuming Tinder, which is important in the analysis, primarily through its explanation factorfor the two following themes; Tinder - dating or hook-up as well as Tinder and self. Theempirical material was analyzed based on social psychological theories of self andconsumption. The thesis contains a number of topics that emerged during the interviews,including the tension whether Tinder is a dating or a hook-up app. This theme was studied onthe basis of several subtitles to ultimately conclude that the consumption of Tinder is havingan impact on young people's self-perception. The study found a number of different waysyoung people consume Tinder and, depending on how Tinder is consumed, differentiate selfperceptionsto expression. Furthermore, the thesis conclude that young people construct aaltered presentation of themselves on Tinder, and there is an awareness that this presentationis not true to reality. Young adults alter their presentations in the hope of achieving morematches, and with this behavior, it appeared to follow an objectification where other userswere more viewed as an object than a person.The thesis is written in Swedish.

Todėl, natūralu, kad informacijos saugumas tampa vis aktualesne problema. Organizacijose vykstančių procesų saugumui užtikrinti kuriami įvairūs saugumo įrankiai, kurie turi užtikrinti vartotojų ar paslaugų identiškumą (autentifikaciją), apsaugoti bendravimo vientisumą, privatumą, apibrėžti kam yra leidžiama kokius veiksmus vykdyti ir informacijos išteklius naudoti (autorizacija) ir kita. GRID sistemos suteikia galimybę naudotis WS (interneto paslaugų) pagrindu ir ne WS pagrindu paremta autentifikacija ir autorizacija GSI (GRID saugumo infrastuktūrai) užtikrinti. Abu metodai yra pagrįsti tokia pačia baze, t.y. paremti X.509 galinės esybės ir proxy sertifikatų standartu, kuris yra naudojamas identifikuojant pastovias esybes, tokias kaip vartotojai ir paslaugos, be to, leidžia priskirti laikinas privilegijas kitoms esybėms. Darbo tikslas – ištirti sertifikatų sistemą, šios sitemos komponentus, kurie yra diegiami į GRID sistemas bei pasiūlyti savo metodus ar modelius, kaip būtų galima pašalinti esamų sistemų saugumo trūkumus. Both in the persons and in the country's life security - the underlying value, which in these days is an integral and very important in information technology world. It is therefore natural that information security is becoming increasingly urgent problem. To ensure the safety of organizations processes the various security tools are being developed. They should ensure the identity of users or services (authentication), to protect communication integrity, privacy, to define who is allowed to carry out all activities and information resources to use (authorization) and the other. GRID system provides ability to use the WAS (Web Services) and non-WS based authentication and authorization to ensure the GSI (GRID Security infrastructure). Both methods are based on the same basis - X.509 end entity certificates and proxy certificates standard, which is used to identify end entities such as users and services, in addition, allows to assign privileges to other temporary end entities. The aim of the work – investigate a system of certificates, components of these system, which is introduced into GRID systems and to offer the methods or models how to eliminate security weaknesses in existing systems. Abstract:
In the preface to this collection, "Poetry and History: Finding 'What Will Suffice,'" I show how Czeslaw Milosz's "Dedication" and Jorie Graham's "Guantánamo" embody the virtues of philosophical meditation and the moral imagination to create a unique poetry of witness. These poems also provide American poets with an example of how they can regain the trust of an apathetic general reading audience. Tinder for the Bathhouses is a collection of poems in which I use the moral imagination to indirectly bear witness to events as far ranging as the Holocaust and the Iraq War. Using the family as a foundation, I show how historical narratives can provide a poet with the tools to think about larger metaphysical questions that poetry can raise, such as the nature of beauty and the purpose of art.

A rotavator plays a significant role in tilling soil, which is the primary phase in crop production. Tillage is one of the most energy demanding operations of the agricultural production process. In spite of the rotavator’s versatility, the material used for development of the rotavator tines is found to wear out quickly at very high rates during field work. The blades which cost an average of ₹ 150 in the market wear out after a meagre 60 hours of usage. Considering the Indian agricultural market which has its farmers based in the rural areas, the blades are quite unaffordable. Focusing on a frugal alternative, this work presents a feasible solution of cheap, durable rotavator tines manufactured using discarded leaf spring flats. The study was aimed at analyzing abrasive wear with different samples of tine material, taking into account the soil characteristics as well. Samples of forged leaf spring flats of two different materials (Mn dominant and Si dominant) were taken along with a few commercially available tines from leading brands. The tine samples were split into lots and designated with markings. The profile outlines of all the tine samples were traced. The work then involved analysis and validation by a field test for 25 hours under known soil conditions using a commercial tractor and a rotavator. Upon completion of the field test, the tines were analyzed for wear on a gravimetric and a dimensional basis. The worn-out tine profiles were also traced for comparative visual representation of the wear. It was then concluded that Mn dominant leaf spring flats were more wear resistant and proved to be a prudent substitute for commercially available tine materials.

Abstract:
ISO Standard is propagating in all aspects of industries worldwide. In order to keep competitiveness, companies are subjected to necessity for their production to be in accordance with ISO. S-type cultivator tines are used in agriculture for the soil preparation. Dimensions and the methods of testing S-tines are proposed by the standards ISO 5678-1993(E) and ISO 8947-1993(E), respectively. The fatigue test defined by ISO-8947(E) proved to be very rigorous. Stresses which develop in the S-type tine during the fatigue test were determined by the finite element method, using MSC Patran/MD Nastran software packages. Results show that tensile stresses during the test are as high as 1100 MPa (around 160 ksi). It is very strict requirement to have the yield strength higher than that value. This requirement is possible to achieve using thermomechanical treatment, a combination of metal working and heat treatment of mainly high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steels.

Abstract:
Abstract The dynamic behavior of ballast particles during track tamping is studied by developing a computer simulation model using the Discrete Element Model (DEM) method. The simulation model is developed in a commercially available DEM software called PFC3D (Particle Flow Code 3D). The study primarily evaluates a complete tamping cycle as defined by insertion, squeeze, hold, and withdrawal. Using a Taguchi approach, the effect of Tine motion’s frequency and amplitude, insertion velocity, and squeeze velocity are evaluated on tamping effectiveness. The compactness of the ballast particles, as defined by the average number of contacts per particle (referred to “Coordination Number”) is used as a measure of the effectiveness of tamping. Setting up the DEM model and important elements such as selection and calibration of particle shapes, ballast mechanical properties, contact model, and parameters governing the contact force models are described in detail. The tamping process is evaluated using a half-track layout with a highly modular code that enables a high degree of adjustability to allow control of all parameters for improved simulation flexibility. A parametric study is performed to find the best values of tine motion parameters for improving tamping efficiency. A performance comparison is made between linear and elliptical tamping. The results indicate that smaller squeeze and release velocities of the tines yield better compaction. Of course, reducing the velocities would result in increased tamping time. Additionally, the results indicate that the linear motion of the tines potentially result in better compaction than elliptical motion, although the latter may require less insertion force (power) and cause less ballast damage.

Machine Learning (ML) and especially its application to cyber-physical systems is an uprising field of research. Many approaches on how to leverage the power of ML even in small devices have been published and applied in recent years, forming the field of TinyML. While TinyML has been promising several benefits such as cost-reduction, privacy and more, studies on which of these benefits are actually crucial when deciding to apply a TinyML approach to a real-world problem have been missing so far. The author of this paper argues, that without understanding the ”why”, the community of researchers and industrial parties may not understand the reasons of applying TinyML and hence may head into research and development directions not increasing its success. This work analysis the application of TinyML approaches and the reasons behind in recent years for three important fields of application: consumer electronics, manufacturing and automotive. It determines the distribution of TinyML applications in the named field and examines which of the bespoken benefits of TinyML were actually driving the decision to use it. Furthermore, this work investigates in cross connections between the benefits and hence points out the main combinations of benefits to the adopter.

Hidraulinis modelis yra modernus įrankis, kuris taikomas vandentiekio sistemos darbo analizei visame pasaulyje. Pasitelkiant hidraulinį modeliavimą, galima analizuoti įvairius scenarijus vandentiekio tinkle, kad būtų galima parinkti tinkamus inžinerinius sprendimus sistemai optimizuoti. Šiame straipsnyje nagrinėjama didžiausio Vilniaus pra-moninio rajono – Aukštųjų Panerių raj. vandentiekio sistema. Tyrimo metu buvo atlikti natūriniai debito matavimai bei sudarytas mikrorajono vandentiekio tinklo hidraulinis modelis, kuris buvo sukalibruotas sumodeliuotus rezultatus lyginant su atliktų matavimų duomenimis. Buvo nustatyta, kad Aukštųjų Panerių raj. vandentiekio tinkle vandens nuostoliai sudaro 13 %. Nustatyta, kad nagrinėjamoje vandentiekio sistemoje vandens tekėjimo greitis nėra optimalus ir siekia ne daugiau nei 0,5 m/s. Modeliavimo metu atlikta slėgio tinkle analizė. Taip pat atlikta vandens išbuvimo trukmės tinkle analizė, vandentiekio sistemos darbo analizė kilus gaisrui ir avarijai vandentiekio tinkle. Pateikiamos rekomendacijos dėl Aukštųjų Panerių raj. vandentiekio sistemos darbo optimizavimo priemonių.

Abstract:
The Tinney Hills map area consists primarily of glacially and meltwater scoured bedrock, discontinuous till in the southwest and central-east, and postglacial marine sediments in coastal lowlands and along river valleys inland. The boundaries of many till deposits are cut to bedrock by widespread subglacial meltwater erosion. Ridged till in particular, is often associated with eskers and other glaciofluvial sediments and meltwater erosion. Striations and streamlined till landforms indicate regional ice flow towards the north-northwest and northwest, and later crosscutting relationships recording minor variations locally. Orientation of eskers and outwash plains suggest ice recession was primarily southeastward. Small, isolated glacial lakes formed where retreating or stagnant ice temporarily blocked local drainage. Below 200 to 220 m elevation, the region was inundated by the sea during ice retreat. Glaciomarine and marine sediments consist of littoral beach and offshore sediments, winnowed till surfaces, and isolated deltas. Isostatic rebound caused marine regression, recorded by deltas and beaches at 210 to 220 m elevation, and decreasing to current sea level.
