Abstract:
Objective - This paper examines Dusun Tindal's instrumental music practice within the context of modernity of the society in Tenghilan, a town that is located on northwest Sabah. The study looks into the driving modish musical styles and forms in the root of the ancient traditions especially in the aspects of musical natures, music compositions, musical functions, and philosophies. Methodology/Technique - The contemporary musical ensemble is a newly developed tradition combining a mixture of traditional and western musical instruments and styles. Due to the new mindsets and tastes of their young people, as well as to open up opportunities to venture into the exotic blooms of globalized musical festivals and tourism, their music is manifold and endeavoring in captive of the hearts of the global audience. Findings - The contemporary musical ensemble is a newly developed tradition combining a mixture of traditional and western musical instruments and styles. Due to the new mindsets and tastes of their young people, as well as to open up opportunities to venture into the exotic blooms of globalized musical festivals and tourism, their music is manifold and endeavoring in captive of the hearts of the global audience. Abstract:
The majority of Dusun Tindal tribe learners in Sabah failed to achieve competency as native Malay speakers due to the fossilization mechanism which is performance-related. Hence, this research aims to examine the fossilization mechanism in the interlanguage of the young generation from the Dusun Tindal tribe. The case study was conducted at Tenghilan Secondary School, Tuaran, Sabah which involved 69 students. Besides the students, 12 language teachers were interviewed to get detailed information on target language learning strategies that allowed students to cross the interlanguage. Two informants from the Dusun Tindal community have provided a missing link to the Dusun Tindal tribe in Sabah. The first important finding involved trends in existing native language domains within Dusun Tindal communities that show multilingual equivalence. Secondly, most essay writing scores in the Malay language itself was still having interlanguage. Thirdly, the highest factor of fossilization causation was cognitive. The mapping of lexical and syntax elements into the target language domain was affecting students' thoughts. It was obvious sentences accommodate the overgeneralization form in the student interlanguage depicts a temporary plateau and they most often use message omission strategy. Fifthly, the continuum of interlanguage was based on the knowledge of native and the Malay language of the students most at acrolect level, namely one level lower than the native speaker competency. Language teachers suggested a number of strategies to dissolve the fossilization in interlanguage, specifically taking the right attitude towards student language errors.

Dusun Tindal tergolong dalam kumpulan etnikterbesar di Sabah iaitu Kadazandusun. Sejak 1990-an, Dusun Tindal di Tenghilan telah mula kehilangansebahagian besar daripada budaya tradisional muzik mereka. Walau bagaimanapun, kumpulan etnikini masih terus memegang beberapa tradisi kuno mereka, sungguhpun kini terdapat perkembanganmuzik baru yang bertujuan untuk meneroka ke dalam industri muzik tempatan dan demi mengekalkankepentingan anak-anak mereka dalam mempelajari alat muzik tradisional. Abstract:
In his Christianity as Old as the Creation Matthew Tindal has reduced Christian religion to the natural religion. His reduction was the last stage of purification of Protestant religion from its supernatural elements. This whole process was taking place in England between 1534 and 1730. The main conclusion of this English deist sounded: the revealed religion was the only repetition of the eternal natural religion, based on the law of nature and human reason. Simultaneously he claimed that any Christian proprium (specific Christian content) did not exist in relation to any other non Christian religion. In this article I put this problem through critical assesment, making analysis of Tindal’s argumentation and confronting it with (to some degree) Thomas Becconsall views, expressed in his The Grounds and Foundation of Natural Religion. In contrast to Becconsall Tindal understands the nature of man in another way. This latter rejects the opinion that human nature was burdened with certain moral ineffectuality. According to it human being is more prone to misdeeds than to good deeds. In Christian religion it was possible to explain by the original sin and its hereditary effects in the history of mankind. Matthew Tindal rejects this Christian dogma. In reality he understands man’s existence in the state of pure nature and with reason acting without limitations. It corresponds to the situation of man before the Fall into the original sin. But Tindal is not any atheist. He is convinced of God’s existence as the Creator of the world and people. The reason of human beings participates in the light of Divine Wisdom. Thus cognition of God and human moral duties are possible (in practice) by intellectual effort directed to the sensible creatures only. This kind of rational investigation is characteristic for methaphysical cognition. In fact, there is small step from deism to atheism. English Enlightenment, based on the enlightened reason, was initially deistic character, afterwards on the Continent (especially in France) it quickly assumed atheistic form. In considerable degree it was possible owing to English deists like Matthew Tindal. They draw the ultimate conclusion from the plurality of Protestant denominations.

Tembikar kuron dihasilkan oleh masyarakat Kadazandusun di Sabah tetapi hanya aktif dihasilkan oleh etnik Dusun Tindal yang tinggal di Kampung Malangkap Kapa, Kota Belud pada hari ini. Etnik Dusun Tindal menghasilkan tembikar kuron melalui kearifan tradisi yang dimanipulasikan untuk mencipta barang keperluan harian daripada medium tanah liat. Kearifan tradisi ini telah diwarisi diwarisi sejak turun-temurun secara tradisi lisan dari segi proses penghasilan, teknik, motif, bahan dan teknik pembakaran kuron. Tembikar kuron yang dihasilkan mempunyai fungsi yang sinonim dengan aktiviti harian etnik Dusun Tindal, sebagai alat memasak, peralatan mengangkut dan menyimpan barangan harian. Oleh itu, penghasilan tembikar kuron dipercayai kerana tuntutan keperluan hidup dan kearifan mereka sejak turun-temurun. Kajian ini akan memfokuskan kearifan tradisi penghasilan tembikar kuron oleh adiguru Puan Kantiam binti Setan yang merupakan anak kepada mendiang Adiguru Somotoi binti Lugu, iaitu seorang tokoh kraf etnik tembikar tradisional kuron. Kuron pottery is made by the Kadazandusun people in Sabah, however it is currently only actively made by the Dusun Tindal ethnic group, who dwell in Kampung Malangkap Kapa, Kota Belud. The Dusun Tindal ethnic group crafts kuron pottery using traditional knowledge that is utilised to manufacture daily necessities out of clay. The wisdom of this heritage has been passed down orally from generation to generation in terms of manufacturing procedures, techniques, motives, materials, and kuron burning techniques. Kuron pottery is connected with the Dusun Tindal ethnic group’s daily activities, serving as cooking tools, equipment for transporting and storing daily things. As a result, the manufacture of kuron pottery is thought to be a result of the demands of their living necessities and wisdom passed down from generation to generation. The knowledge of the heritage of manufacturing kuron pottery by adiguru Puan Kantiam binti Setan, the daughter of the late Adiguru Somotoi binti Lugu, a traditional kuron ceramic ethnic craft figure, will be the emphasis of this study.

The sinipak traditional costumery is a centuriesold heritage inherited by the Dusun Tindal ethnic community located mainly in the flatlands of Kampung Bangkahak, Kampung Tempasuk and Kampung Piasau in the Kota Belud district of Sabah, Malaysia. The designs and accessories exhibited in the sinipak costume of the Dusun Tindal womenfolk are representative of natural materials and elements integrated with human creativity, and are traditionally perceived as symbols of wealth and social status within the community. Findings of this study were derived from fieldwork data and analysis of the design concepts of the sinipak female costumery.

In the year 1983/84, the Commonwealth Government decided to redevelop a RAAF airstrip at Tindal into a northern air base in NT. It would replace RAAF Base Darwin that was situated close to the coast and susceptible to both cyclonic weather and any 'enemy' sneak raid attacks. Tindal is located about fifteen kilometres south from Katherine on the Stuart Highway. A social survey conducted in the second half of 1983 formed the basis for SIA predictions that appeared in the EIS. These encompassed social impacts that would occur during the construction phase and later throughout the operational phase. Included among the predicted impacts on local residents was aircraft noise from military aircraft flying overhead and this was confirmed by a social survey conducted in 1994. Other predictions included the integration of a RAAF population with its own set of values into a conservative Katherine community. The social survey of 1994 asks the same type of questions as asked in 1983, and the two sets of answers are compared over time. A subsequent longitudinal analysis follows the structural development of the Katherine population/community. A group of 1994 respondents was found to have resided in Katherine in 1983 and cohort by cohort their state of affairs discovered. As Katherine developed into a regional centre the views of respondents toward the RAAF became more accepting and residual social impacts from the redevelopment phase were difficult to find.

Este trabalho de conclusão tem como tema a Qualidade Seis Sigma e a produção de tintas, com foco no parâmetro viscosidade. O objetivo principal é o estudo da variabilidade da viscosidade das tintas, com vistas à diminuição do número de desvios de viscosidade de lotes de produção e, conseqüentemente, do retrabalho e lead-time fabril. Inicialmente, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a metodologia Seis Sigma, suas principais ferramentas, e sobre os processos de produção de tintas, suas fontes de variabilidade e possibilidadesde melhoria.Na seqüência, foi conduzido o estudo de caso, realizado em uma tradicional fábrica de tintas da grande Porto Alegre. O estudo seguiu as etapas da metodologiaSeis Sigma:definição,mensuração,análise,aprimoramentoe controle. Dos lotes de tinta analisados, 78,5% necessitaram de algum tipo de ajuste de viscosidade.A viscosidadedas tintas, após a etapade completagem,foi, em média, 5,3 vezes maior que a semi-amplitude da tolerância. O tempo médio de ajuste de viscosidade foi de 20 minutos, o dobro do tempo gasto caso fosse feita somente a medição da viscosidade. Analisando-se a viscosidade em segundos, a diferença entre a medição já com o solvente previsto, e a medição logo após a completagem, foi, em média, de 28 segundos. A etapa de acertos de cor e brilho proporciona um aumento médio na viscosidade de cerca de 6 segundos Observou-se que os processos de fabricação não eram estáveis e nem capazes de atender as especificações, sem a etapa de ajustes, sendo o pior processo o em moinho pequeno (l,5P), e o melhor, em processo mistura. O sistema de medição contribuía para a variabilidade da viscosidade e foi melhorado. Outros fatores influentes na variabilidade da viscosidade foram: o fluxo de moagem, a sistemática de lavagem dos moinhos e a instabilidade (aumento) da viscosidade com o tempo. Como etapa final, foram sugeridas melhorias para o processo, na forma de um plano de ação, contemplando todos os fatores de variação identificados.

Abstract:
Este trabalho é o resultado de um estudo exploratório que descreve a maneira como é exercida a atividade de venda no principal canal de distribuição das tintas prediais. O exercício da atividade de venda é descrito pela forma como ele se processa e pela identificação dos atributos responsáveis pela geração, manutenção e modificação da atividade de venda. A obtenção destas informações se deu pela investigação da interação entre os agentes responsáveis pela comercialização das tintas prediais na Tintas Killing S/A e em algumas revendas de tinta e revendas de material de construção. A investigação prossegue pelo processo de análise e interpretação das informações, por meio de uma comparação entre os relatos obtidos com os agentes do canal de distribuição, ou seja, os vendedores industriais, os técnicos em produção e aplicação de tintas, os gerentes das revendas, os vendedores de varejo e os pintores. Desta forma foi possível identificar as atividades de cada agente do canal e o que cada um deles considera como determinante na sua atividade de venda, possibilitando-se agrupar atividades e atributos repetidos por diferentes agentes, esclarecendo-se assim corno e por que a venda é exercida no canal de distribuição de tintas prediais.
This paper results from an exploratory research that describes the practice of selling activity performed by a distribution channel of building paints. The practice of selling activity was depicted by the way it works and by the identification of some attributes that accounts for generation, support and changing of the selling activity. Data were collected from investigating the interaction among the distribution channel agents, represented by a manufacturer ( Killing paints ), and some resellers ( paint stores and building material stores ). The analysis and interpretation of information/data were obtained by comparing the speeches of several distribution channel agents, such as industrial sellers, technicians of paint production and application, managers of stores, retail sellers and painters. Thus, the activities of each type of agents of this distribution channel were identified separately and each agent expressed what had determined his/her selling activity. This account allowed to join both selling activities and attributes which had been repeated by different agents, clearing up how and why the selling activity was played by distribution channel of buildind paints.

Abstract:
Introdução: os dermatófitos afetam 40% da população mundial, e no sul do Brasil encontrase o maior número de portadores de HIV/habitante do país, sendo necessário, portanto, um controle epidemiológico desses fungos. Objetivo: determinar a prevalência dos dermatófitos na região metropolitana de Porto Alegre, Brasil, e comparar as espécies a partir dos dados dos pacientes. Métodos: foi realizado um estudo transversal com dados de pacientes atendidos em hospital de referência, no período de 1996-2011, sendo que as análises estatísticas utilizadas para cada objetivo específico do trabalho foram: regressão linear simples (determinar o comportamento da prevalência ao longo dos anos); Qui-quadrado (comparar a prevalência dos fungos entre o gênero masculino e feminino); Mann-Whitney U (comparar a idade dos pacientes entre os gêneros); Kruskal-Wallis (comparar a idade dos pacientes entre as espécies de dermatófitos); Qui-quadrado corrigido por Bonferroni (comparar a proporção étnica dos casos acometidos por cada espécie com a proporção amostral) e teste exato de Fisher/análise de resíduos (determinar as diferenças entre os locais anatômicos afetados pelos fungos). Em todas as análises, foi considerado =0,05. Resultados: foram obtidos 14.214 casos positivos no exame micológico cultural, sendo que 9.048 foram positivos para dermatófitos, o que torna este o maior estudo epidemiológico sobre dermatofitoses do país. Trichophyton rubrum ocorreu em 59,6% dos casos, seguido de T. interdigitale (34%), Microsporum canis (2,6%), Epidermophyton floccosum (1,5%), M. gypseum (1,3%), T. tonsurans (0,9%) e T. violaceum (1 caso). Para T. interdigitale, E. floccosum, T. rubrum e M. canis, os coeficientes angulares das regressões lineares foram +1,119, +0,211, -0,826 e -0,324% ao ano, respectivamente. No gênero masculino verificou-se maior prevalência de infecção (79,3% versus 54,9%), porém as mulheres acometidas apresentaram idade superior aos homens. T. interdigitale e M. canis foram mais frequentes em pacientes caucasianos, enquanto T. rubrum acometeu menos pacientes pardos do que o esperado. Tinea unguium foi a dermatofitose mais prevalente (48,5%), sendo as unhas dos pés mais acometidas do que as unhas das mãos (94,4% versus 4,1%), seguida de tinea pedis (33,1%), corporis (6,8%), cruris (5,9%), manuum (2,4%), capitis e facie (1,5% cada) e barbae (0,07%). T. rubrum foi o fungo predominante em todas as regiões do corpo, exceto no couro cabeludo, em que M. canis foi responsável por 75% dos casos. As maiores associações positivas para cada espécie foram: T. rubrum (região inguinal); T. interdigitale e E. floccosum (pele dos pés); M. canis e T. tonsurans (couro cabeludo); M. gypseum (face). Conclusão: este estudo corrobora os demais estudos da região quanto à distribuição dos dermatófitos, sendo T. rubrum a espécie mais comum. T. tonsurans apresenta baixíssima prevalência, diferentemente de outros estados brasileiros, onde esse fungo está entre os primeiros do ranking. Porém, este estudo mostrou diferença entre homens e mulheres quanto à idade e à prevalência na infecção por dermatófitos. Além disso, observamos uma diminuição na prevalência de T. rubrum e M. canis, acompanhada de um aumento de T. interdigilate e E. floccosum. Nesse sentido, é preciso haver mais estudos epidemiológicos na região para o devido acompanhamento e controle da evolução das dermatofitoses.
Background: dermatophytes affect 40% of the world population. In Brazil, largest number of patients with HIV/inhabitant occurs in the south, requiring epidemiological control of these fungi. Objective: to determine the prevalence of dermatophytes in the metropolitan area of Porto Alegre, Brazil, and to compare species based on patient data. Methods: we conducted a cross-sectional study with data of patients from a highly respected hospital 1996-2011. The statistical analyses performed for each specific objective were: Simple linear regression (to determine the prevalence of behavior over the years), Chi-square (to compare prevalence of fungi between the genders), Mann-Whitney U (to compare patients' age between the genders), Kruskal-Wallis (to compare the ages of pacients among species of dermatophytes); Chi-square corrected by Bonferroni (to compare ethnic proportion of cases affected by each species with the sample proportion), Fisher's Exact Test / Analysis waste (to determine differences between anatomical sites affected by fungi). In all analyses, = 0.05 was considered. Results: were obtained 14,214 cases mycological culture-positive, being 9,048 cases positive for dermatophytes, making this work the largest epidemiological study of dermatophytosis in the country. Trichophyton rubrum occurred in 59.6% of cases, followed by T. interdigitale (34%), Microsporum canis (2.6%), Epidermophyton floccosum (1.5%), M. gypseum (1.3%), T. tonsurans (0.9%) and T. violaceum (1 case). The slopes of the linear regressions, for T. interdigitale, E. floccosum, T. rubrum and M. canis, were +1.119, +0.211, -0.826 and -0.324% per year, respectively. Males presented higher prevalence of infection (79.3% versus 54.9%), but women were older than men. T. interdigitale and M. canis were most prevalent in Caucasians and T. rubrum was less prevalent in brown people than expected. Tinea unguium was more prevalent of the dermatophytosis (48.5%) being toenails more affected than fingernails (94.4% vs. 4.1%), followed by tinea pedis (33.1%), corporis (6.8%), cruris (5.9%) manuum (2.4%), facie and capitis (1.5% each one) and barbae (0.07%). T. rubrum was the predominant fungus in all regions of the body except in the scalp where M. canis was the responsible for 75% of the cases. The species with the highest positive associations were: T. rubrum (groin); T. interdigitale and E. floccosum (skin of the feet); M. canis and T. tonsurans (scalp); M. gypseum (face). Conclusion: this study corroborates other similar studies in the region related to the distribution of dermatophytes, being T. rubrum the most common species followed by T. interdigitale, and being T. tonsurans the one that presents a very low prevalence, unlike other States. However, this study showed gender differences in relation to age and prevalence of the infection by dermatophytes. Moreover, we observed a decrease in the prevalence of T. rubrum and M. canis and an increase of T. interdigilate and E. floccosum. In this sense, the continuation of epidemiological studies in the region is necessary for monitoring and controlling the evolution of dermatophytosis.

É espectável que no futuro do setor os têxteis técnicos também incorporem componentes eletrónicos para o desenvolvimento de aplicações especí cas. Desenvolvimentos recentes na indústria da eletrónica exível permitiu abrir novas possibilidades, como células solares exíveis e sensores maleáveis, que podem ser aplicadas no setor têxtil. Neste relatório é discutida a possibilidade da aplicação de condutores exíveis processáveis por solução como resistências de aquecimento. É feita uma revisão das técnicas e métodos de processamento, como as técnicas de processamento em rolo que têm grandes potencialidades em larga escala, e a exploração de diferentes soluções de condutores incluindo o polímero condutor PEDOT:PSS e uma solução de um uoroelast ómero com diferentes aditivos condutores (gra te coloidal e duas partes de uma resina reativa de prata). Foi possível obter aquecimento em camadas de uoroelastómero com gra te como aditivo condutor em três substratos testados, quando foi aplicada uma tensão de +15 V DC. O valor da temperatura em equilíbrio foi atingindo dentro de dois minutos para todos os diferentes substratos. No entanto, o valor de temperatura foi diferente para cada substrato (entre 30oC e 60oC). Este resultado serve de demonstração de prova de conceito para esta aplicação, apesar de ainda ser necessário um grande trabalho de otimização para chegar a aplicações industriais
The technical textile industry is in growth, raising market share within textile industry from approximately 5% in 1990 to 28% in 2014 [1]. Is expected that, in the sectors future, electronic components will be incorporated in textiles in order to develop speci c applications. Recent developments in exible electronics allowed for new devices, like malleable sensors and exible solar cells, that can be applied in the textile sector. In this report, the possibility of application of exible solution processable conductors as heating resistors is discussed. Including a review of processing techniques, such as roll-to-roll, that shows promise in large scale applications, and experimental exploration of di erent solution processable conductors, including the conductive polymer PEDOT: PSS and a solution of uorelastomer with di erent conductive llers (graphite and two parts of silver based conductive epoxy). It was possible to obtain heating on layers of uorelastomer with graphite as conductive ller in all three substrates tested, when applied +15 V DC. The equilibrium temperature was obtained within two minutes for all substrates, although the value of temperature varied with each substrate, ranging between 30oC e 60oC. This result serves as proof of concept for this application, but in order to advance to industrial feasibility is still necessary a great deal of optimisation development.

Syftet med denna studie var att bidra till ökad kunskap om människors självuppfattningargenom konsumtionen av Tinder och för att uppnå detta har unga människors erfarenheter ochföreställningar om Tinder analyserats. Uppsatsen har en induktiv ansats och ett kvalitativttillvägagångssätt. Materialet samlades in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer och för attkomplettera detta genomfördes även netnografiska intervjuer. Från empirin skapades entematisering utifrån informanternas utsagor och tre huvudteman arbetades fram. Det förstahuvudtemat behandlade Tinders olika konsumtionsområden, Konsumera Tinder, som är avvikt i analysen framförallt genom sin förklaringsfaktor till de två efterkommande teman;Tinder - dejting eller hook-up samt Tinder och självet. Det empiriska materialet analyseradesutifrån socialpsykologiska teorier om självet och konsumtion. I uppsatsen finns ett flertalspänningsfält som framkom under intervjuerna och däribland finns spänningsfältet huruvidaTinder är en dejting eller en hook-up app. Detta tema studerades utifrån flera underteman föratt slutligen leda fram till att konsumtionen av Tinder har en inverkan i unga människorssjälvuppfattning. I studien framkom att ett antal olika sätt unga människor konsumerar Tinderpå och beroende på hur Tinder konsumeras kommer skilda självuppfattningar till uttryck.Vidare redogör studien för att unga människor konstruerar en förskönad presentation av sigsjälva på Tinder och det framkom en medvetenhet om att denna presentation inte stämmermed verkligheten. Unga vuxna förskönar sina presentationer i förhoppningen om att uppnåfler matchningar och med detta beteende visade det sig följa en objektifiering där andraanvändare snarare sågs som ett objekt än en person.
The purpose of this study was to contribute to increased knowledge of individuals selfperceptionsthrough the consumption of Tinder. To fulfill the purpose, young individualsexperiences and beliefs about Tinder have been analyzed. The thesis has an inductive and aqualitative approach.The empirical material was collected through semi-structured interviews,and in addition to this, netnographic interviews were conducted. From the empirical work, athematicization was created based on the statements of the informants and three main themeswere devised. The first main theme approached Tinder's different consumption areas,Consuming Tinder, which is important in the analysis, primarily through its explanation factorfor the two following themes; Tinder - dating or hook-up as well as Tinder and self. Theempirical material was analyzed based on social psychological theories of self andconsumption. The thesis contains a number of topics that emerged during the interviews,including the tension whether Tinder is a dating or a hook-up app. This theme was studied onthe basis of several subtitles to ultimately conclude that the consumption of Tinder is havingan impact on young people's self-perception. The study found a number of different waysyoung people consume Tinder and, depending on how Tinder is consumed, differentiate selfperceptionsto expression. Furthermore, the thesis conclude that young people construct aaltered presentation of themselves on Tinder, and there is an awareness that this presentationis not true to reality. Young adults alter their presentations in the hope of achieving morematches, and with this behavior, it appeared to follow an objectification where other userswere more viewed as an object than a person.The thesis is written in Swedish.

Abstract:
In the preface to this collection, "Poetry and History: Finding 'What Will Suffice,'" I show how Czeslaw Milosz's "Dedication" and Jorie Graham's "Guantánamo" embody the virtues of philosophical meditation and the moral imagination to create a unique poetry of witness. These poems also provide American poets with an example of how they can regain the trust of an apathetic general reading audience. Tinder for the Bathhouses is a collection of poems in which I use the moral imagination to indirectly bear witness to events as far ranging as the Holocaust and the Iraq War. Using the family as a foundation, I show how historical narratives can provide a poet with the tools to think about larger metaphysical questions that poetry can raise, such as the nature of beauty and the purpose of art.

Perkembangan hukum antariksa nasional dan tindak lanjut yang harus dilakukan merupakan hasil kajian terhadap bahan hukum primer, sekunder, dan tersier melalui studi kepustakaan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, teridentifikasi bahwa perkembangan hukum antariksa nasional menunjukkan arah yang menggembirakan yaitu dengan telah diundangkankannya Undang-Undang Nomor 21 Tahun 2013 Tentang Keantariksaan serta telah dibentuknya Rencana Induk Penyelenggaraan Keantariksaan 2016-2040 yang terdapat di dalam Peraturan Presiden RI No. 45 Tahun 2017. Upaya yang harus dilakukan dalam membangun hukum antariksa nasional dilakukan dengan mengambil dua cara yaitu: (i) melakukan transformasi dan adopsi spesifik perjanjian internasional keantariksaan melalui instrument pengesahan (ratifikasi); dan (ii) pembentukan kaidah hukum baru yang sejalan dengan prinsip pemanfaatan antariksa untuk maksud damai, dengan tetap mengedepankan pertimbangan waktu dan kebutuhan serta diarahkan pada pembangun hukum antariksa nasional yang berdimensi public dan perdata untuk mengantisipasi potensi dampak yang ditimbulkan dari penyelenggaraan keantariksaan.

E, se soubesse que havia ajuda disponível para a incontinência urinária, talvez marcasse uma consulta médica na próxima semana e depois continuasse o seu dia, sem que a sua dignidade fosse afectada. Agora imagine que tinha acordado esta manhã e tinha feito chichi na cama. Mas, para se lavar ou para lavar a roupa e a roupa de cama, tinha de caminhar durante uma hora para ir buscar água. Imagine que tem medo de ir sozinho buscar água, o caminho é íngreme e custa-lhe a servir-se da bomba manual. Mesmo que arranjasse água, não tinha sabão suficiente e o cheiro continuava a fazer-se sentir qualquer forma. E que, depois de todo esse esforço, não tinha nada que pudesse usar para absorver a urina, se isto se repetisse. E se não soubesse que a incontinência urinária é comum, e passasse o resto do dia preocupado com a sua saúde e tivesse vergonha de ir para o trabalho, porque as pessoas podiam saber? E se estivesse preocupada que o seu companheiro lhe voltasse a bater por «estar a fazer porcarias», e, por isso, bebesse muito pouco durante todo o dia, com medo de que voltasse a acontecer o mesmo? O que se pode fazer para apoiar as pessoas que vivem com incontinência? Para começar, precisamos de falar de incontinência.

Já há algum tempo se tinha reconhecido que a liderança do governo local é essencial para garantir a sustentabilidade e a ampliação da escala e constitui uma componente importante das abordagens emergentes de reforço de sistemas no sector do S&H. Espera-se que este trabalho proporcione experiências práticas que contribuam para esta reflexão. Foram desenvolvidos estudos de caso para captar as experiências do governo local e dos parceiros de desenvolvimento que apoiam os governos subnacionais no fortalecimento da sua liderança e priorização de S&H no distrito de Siaya (no Quénia, com o UNICEF), no distrito de Nyamagabe (no Ruanda, com a WaterAid) e no distrito de Moyo (no Uganda, com a WSSCC), tendo todos eles registado progressos nos últimos anos. Os casos foram então analisados em três workshops com pessoal dos governos locais, os ministérios do governo central e os parceiros de desenvolvimento envolvidos, para rever experiências e identificar alavancas e bloqueios à mudança. Este documento apresenta as principais conclusões deste processo.
