Abstract:
This paper shows the importance of feminist pedagogy as a vision in Christian theological education. Oppression experiences of women as the root of all of oppression of human and ecology, are approached by liberation and transformative education, for justice and equality. Feminist theology needs a place in theological education and in the church education, thus within feminist perspectivecontexts. The core of the Christian tradition in theology is liberation and transformation. Peruati is presenting this feminist vision. As anassociation of theologically educated women in Indonesia, they come together with theologically educated men for movement, for liberation and transformation. Peruati enter the house-ekklesia as feminist pedagogy. Those are the church education and theological Christian education.

Abstract:
What makes theological education "theological"? A South Arican story on the iniegrity of theological educationDavid Tracy claims that the contemporary emergence of a sociological imagination is as crucial for theological self-consciousness as the earlierrise of historical consciousness among theologians. The authors are of the opinion that the rapid and fundamental social changes in South African society over the past few years have accelerated this "emergence of a sociological imagination" amongst South African theologians. In three sections, they point to three clusters of questions that have therefore become increasingly important, namely questions related to the growing awareness of the crucial role of social location or context, questions arising from a growing acknowledgement of public responsibility, andquestions concerning the integrity of theological education, i.e. the question on what makes theological education "theological".

Abstract:
Africa’s staggering rate of urbanization and the silence of religion or theology in response form the backdrop of this article. Africa’s urban futures, up through 2050, are considered through the lenses of fifteen African cities and theological institutions in these cities. I employ a set of research questions, seeking to contribute theologically to a body of knowledge known as African urbanism. The article imagines theological education/formation in response to Africa’s urban explosion through exploring flourishing cities as an organizing imaginary, but also through outlining concrete embodiments and prospects for reimagining theological education/formation in African cities.

Abstract:
The transformation of theological education in the context of Africa has motivated this research. It discusses ways an Africanised theological education could help integrate knowledge with understanding and wisdom. The article stresses the need for theology students to be given more time for practical learning. It also stresses that epistemological diversity should be adopted so that nobody’s knowledge acquisition preference is neglected. It also stresses the need for theological education to help students to be integrated into their cultural diversity. It finally stresses that students be exposed through teaching to their African predecessors for inspiration. It concludes that a meaningful Africanised theological education is possible if steps are taken to integrate the above-mentioned points it stressed into theological education in Africa.

Abstract:
AbstractIn this article, veteran Tanzania missionary Fergus King reflects on the connection between mission and theological education. "Mission" is primarily God's mission, participation in which is constitutive of the church's very nature. In today's debate, "theological education" is pulled between a commitment to a more "holistic" approach (paideia) and a more academic approach (Wissenschaft), and while it needs both it also must take into account local context: location, culture, language and worldview. When context is taken into account, theological education cannot but be mission-oriented, since its goal becomes an education that aims at a faithful and relevant communication of the gospel to fellow Christians and non-Christians, both locally and universally. King concludes with some reflections on the nature of theological authority: ultimately authority resides in the entire church, past and present. Theological education, therefore, is aimed at all Christians, at whatever level they find themselves.
