Abstract:
ABSTRAKTeknik forehand groundstroke dan backhand groundstroke merupakan salah satu teknik yang sangat penting dalam permainan tenis lapangan. Petenis kebanyakan kehilangan angka karena tidak menguasai teknik forehand groundstroke dan backhand groundstroke dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan forehand groundstroke dan backhand groundstroke padasiswa sekolah tenis Menoreh Tennis Club, Handayani Tennis Club dan Bantul Tennis Camp.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Dyer Tennis Test. Validitas instrumen Dyer Tennis Test antara 0,80 sampai 0,90 dan reliabilitas instrumen adalah 0,90. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa sekolah tenis Menoreh Tennis Club, Handayani Tennis Club dan Bantul Tennis Camp sebanyak 32 siswa, terdiri dari 20 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan forehand groundstrokes siswa sekolah tenis Menoreh Tennis Club, Handayani Tennis Club dan Bantul Tennis Camp berkategori “sedang”. Secara terperinci terdapat 2 siswa (6,25%) berkategori “baik sekali”, 5 siswa (15,63%) berkategori “baik”, 15 siswa (46,87%) berkategori “sedang”, 8 siswa (25%) berkategori “kurang” dan 2 siswa (6,25%) rendah. Rata-rata tingkat kemampuan backhand groundstrokes berkategori “sedang”, dengan rincian terdapat 2 siswa (6,25%) berkategori “baik sekali”, 8 siswa (25%) berkategori “baik”, 12 siswa (37,5%) berkategori “sedang”, 8 siswa (25%) berkategori “kurang” dan 2 siswa (6,25%) berkategori “rendah”. Abstract:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menguji tingkat validitas norma penilaian Dyer Tennis Test terhadap tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FIK UNY); (2) menguji tingkat reliabilitas norma penilaian Dyer Tennis Test terhadap tingkat kete-rampilan bermain tenis; (3) menguji relevansi norma penilaian Dyer Tennis Test terhadap tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis. Penelitian deskriptif ini menggunakan metode survey. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Koefisien validitas Dyer Tennis Test (X) dan Ranking Hasil Pertandingan ½ kompetisi Putera (Y) = -0,968 dan Hasil Pertandingan ½ kompetisi Putera Puteri (Y) = -0,997. Dengan demikian Dyer Tennis Test dapat digunakan (acceptable) sebagai instrumen penilaian untuk mengukur tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis bagi mahasiswa putera (Y) dan Puteri (Y) FIK UNY. (2) Koefisien reliabilitas Dyer Tennis Test putera = 0,994 dan puteri = 0,894 sangat bagus sebagai instrumen yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis bagi mahasiswa FIK UNY; (3) Norma Penilaian Dyer Tennis Test masih sangat relevan digunakan sebagai instrumen penilaian untuk mengukur tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis bagi mahasiswa putera dan putri FIK UNY. Testing the validity, reliability, and relevance of the "dyer tennis test" assessment on tennis playing skills AbstractThis study aims to: (1) to test the validity level of the Dyer Tennis Test assessment norms on the level of playing tennis skills of FIK UNY students, (2) to test the reliability level of the Dyer Tennis Test assessment norm on the level of playing tennis skills, (3) to test the relevance of Dyer's norm assessment of Tennis Test on the skill level of playing tennis. This research was descriptive with the survey method. Data collection used tests and measurements. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) The coefficient of the Dyer Tennis Test validity (X) and the Ranking of the Match Results male’s half competition (Y) = -0,968 and the results of the female's half competition (Y) = -0.997. Thus, the Dyer Tennis Test can be used (acceptable) as an assessment instrument to measure the level of tennis skills for male (Y) and female (Y) students of FIK UNY. (2) The reliability coefficient of the men's Dyer Tennis Test = 0.994 and the women’s = 0.894 is very good as an instrument that can be used to measure the level of playing tennis skills for FIK UNY students; (3) Dyer Tennis Test Assessment Norms are still very relevant to be used as an assessment instrument to measure the level of playing tennis skills for male and female students of FIK UNY.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to examine the opinions of tennis umpires of Turkish Tennis Federation regarding tennis umpire’s education and to determine the expectations of the umpire education content. Descriptive method was used in the study. The data were obtained using quantitative techniques. The universe of the study consists of 2662 umpires and the sample group comprises of 419 umpires belonging to Turkish Tennis Federation. The data were collected with the measurement tool developed by the researcher. The umpire evaluation scale included 36 items under four dimensions, including education officers, evaluation of education, education environment and planning of education. Evaluation of items in the scale form was done with five point likert type scale. For the analysis of the data, the normal distribution of the data was first looked at. Because the data were not distributed normally, non-parametric test; Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis tests were used. It can be said that the young tennis umpires are satisfied with the umpires’ training. International tennis umpires think that the umpire education environment and training planning dimensions are better than thought of national umpires. A 9 year and over tennis umpire have more positive opinions about educational environment than tennis referees who are 2 years or less. In general, tennis umpires were found to be satisfied with the teaching staff, but it was determined that the tennis umpires in the 18-29 age group think that the teacing staff are better than the thought tennis referees over the age of 42. In addition, it has emerged that tennis umpires graduated from the sport field think that the umpire training environment is better than the tennis umpires graduated from other fields.Extended English summary is in the end of Full Text PDF (TURKISH) file. ÖzetBu araştırmanın amacı Türkiye Tenis Federasyonu’na bağlı tenis hakemlerinin hakem eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesi ve hakem eğitimi içeriğine ilişkin beklentilerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırmada betimsel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Veriler nicel teknik kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın evreni; 2014 yılında Türkiye Tenis Federasyonu’na bağlı olan 2662 hakem ve örneklemi ise 419 hakemden oluşmaktadır. Veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ölçme aracı ile toplanmıştır. Hakem eğitimi değerlendirme ölçeğinde eğitim görevlileri, eğitimi değerlendirme, eğitim ortamı ve eğitimin planlaması olmak üzere dört boyut altında 36 madde yer almıştır. Ölçekte yer alan maddelerin değerlendirilmesi beşli Likert tipi derecelendirme ile yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizi için önce verilerin normal dağılımına bakılmıştır. Veriler normal dağılmadığı için, non-parametrik testlerden Mann Whitney U ve Kruskall Wallis testleri kullanılmıştır. Genç tenis hakemlerinin hakem eğitimi veren eğitim görevlilerinden memnun oldukları söylenebilir. Uluslararası tenis hakemleri ulusal hakemlere göre hakem eğitim ortamının ve eğitimi planlama boyutlarının daha iyi olduğunu düşünmektedirler. 9 yıl ve üzeri hakemlik yapan tenis hakemlerinin, 2 yıl ve daha az hakemlik yapan tenis hakemlerine göre eğitim ortamıyla ilgili görüşleri daha olumludur. Genel anlamda tenis hakemlerinin öğretim elemanlarından memnun olduğu görülürken 18-29 yaş grubundaki tenis hakemlerinin 42 yaş ve üzerindeki tenis hakemlerine göre eğitim görevlileri boyutunun daha iyi olduğunu düşündükleri saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, spor alanı mezunu tenis hakemlerinin, hakem eğitim ortamının diğer alan mezunu tenis hakemlerine göre daha iyi olduğunu düşündükleri ortaya çıkmıştır.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja untuk siswa sekolah dasar kelas atas. Model yang dikembangkan adalah teknik forehand dan backhand yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa SD kelas atas. Model pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja bertujuan agar digunakan guru dalam penyelenggaraan kegiatan belajar mengajar tenis meja untuk siswa SD kelas atas. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua tahapan yaitu tahap penelitian pendahuluan dan tahap pengembangan. Hasil penelitian berupa pengembangan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja terdiri atas: (1) teknik dasar peganggan, (2) kontrol bola dan (3) teknik dasar memantulkan bola. Model disusun dalam buku panduan berjudul ”pengembangan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja siswa SD kelas atas”. Berdasarkan penilaian para ahli materi dan guru disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja untuk siswa SD kelas atas layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran tenis meja untuk siswa SD kelas atas.Kata Kunci: model, pengenalan, tenis meja, SD kelas atas Developing a Learning Model of Introduction to Table Tennis Basic Techniques for Elementary School Upper Class Students AbstractThis research aims to produce a model of the introduction to the basic techniques of learning table tennis for elementary school upper class students. The model are developed covering forehand and backhand table tennis, that adapted characteristics of elementary school upper class students. Introduction to the basic model of table tennis techniques was used by the teacher in teaching and learning activities of upper grade students. The development of research carried out by adapting the steps of research development consisting of two stages: preliminary research stage and development stage. The results of the research are a development learning model of the introduction to basic techniques of table tennis consisting of: (1) grip basic technique, (2) Ball control basic technique, and (3) Hit ball basic technique. Models arranged in a handbook entitled "Introduction to basic engineering models of table tennis". Based on the assessment of matter experts and teachers, it can be concluded that the model of learning the basic techniques of table tennis for upper classes is with the curriculum. The model of introduction to basic techniques can develop in learning table tennis for upper grade elementary school students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh metode latihan drill arah sasaran konstan dan drill arah sasaran berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan servis backspin tenis meja atlet pemula, (2) perbedaan keterampilan sevis backspin tenis meja antara siswa yang mempunyai koordinasi tinggi dan rendah, dan (3) interaksi antara metode latihan drill arah sasaran konstan dan drill arah sasaran berubah-ubah dan koordinasi terhadap ketepatan servis tenis meja atlet pemula. Penelitiaan ini merupakan penelitian ekperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Sampel penelitian ini 28 atlet yang diambil dengan teknik rondom sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis varian (Anava). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan metode drill arah sasaran konstan dan drill arah sasaran berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan servis backspin tenis meja atlet pemula, (2) ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil keterampilan servis backspin tenis meja antara siswa yang mempunyai koordinasi tinggi dan rendah, dan (3) ada interaksi antara metode latihan drill arah sasaran konstan dan drill arah sasaran berubah-ubah dan koordinasi terhadap ketepatan sevis tenis meja atlet pemula. Kelompok atlet tenis meja yang memiliki koordinasi tinggi lebih tepat jika dilatih dengan drill arah sasaran berubah-ubah, sedangkan kelompok atlet tenis meja yang memiliki koordinasi rendah lebih baik jika dilatih dengan metode drill arah sasaran konstan.Kata Kunci: metode latihan drill, koordinasi, atlet pemula tenis meja, ketepatan servis backspin The Effects of Drill Training Method and Coordination on the Accuracy of Table Tennis Service AbstractThis study aims to investigate: (1) the difference of the effect of drill training method for a constant target and that for a variable target on the accuracy of table tennis backspin service among novice athletes, (2) the difference of table tennis backspin service skill between students with high coordination and those with low coordination, and (3) the interaction of drill training method for a constant target and that for a variable target and coordination on the accuracy of table tennis service among novice table tennis athletes. This was an experimental study employing a 2 x 2 factorial design. The research sample consisted of 28 athletes, selected by means of sample technique. The data were collected through test. The test were used to assess the service skills before and after treatment. The data were analyzed using the two-way analysis of variance (Anava). The results of the study were as follows: (1) there is a significant difference in the effect of drill training method for a constant target and that for a variable target on the accuracy of table tennis backspin service among novice table tennis athletes, (2) there is a significant difference in table tennis backspin service skill between the students with high coordination and those with low coordination, and (3) there is an interaction of drill training method for a constant target and that for a variable target and coordination on the accuracy of the table tennis service among novice table tennis athletes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan pengaruh antara metode demonstrasi dan metode audio visual terhadap keterampilan groundstrokes tenis lapangan, (2) Perbedaan pengaruh antara persepsi kinestetik terhadap keterampilan groundstrokes tenis lapangan, dan (3) interaksi metode latihan dan persepsi kinestetik terhadap keterampilan groundstrokes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SD Negeri Petinggen dan SD Negeri Terbansari yang berjumlah 75 siswa. Sampel penelitian 40 siswa ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes persepsi kinestetik dan keterampilan groundstrokes. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah horizontal liner space test dan memantulakan bola ke dinding. Teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAVA. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode demonstrasi dan audio visual terhadap keterampilan groundstrokes tenis lapangan (2) ada perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan groundstrokes tenis lapangan antara siswa yang memiliki persepsi kinestetik tinggi dan rendah,dan (3) ada interaksi yang signifikan antara metode latihan dan persepsi kinestetik terhadap hasil groundstrokes tenis lapangan.Kata Kunci: demonstrasi, audio visual, persepsi kinestetik, groundstrokes tenis lapangan. The effect of training method and kinesthetic perception groundstroke skills of elementary school students in tennis AbstractThis study aims to investigate: (1) the difference between the effect of audio-visual methods and the demonstration of the skills of tennis courts groundstrokes, (2) the difference between the effect of kinesthetic perception of the skill of tennis courts groundstrokes, and (3) the interaction of exercise and kinesthetic perception of the skills tennis courts of groundstrokes. This study is experimental. The study population is students Petinggen Elementary School and Elementary School Terbansari totaling 75 students. The research sample of 40 students is determined by purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using kinesthetic perception tests and skills groundstrokes. The instrumen in this study is a horizontal linear space test and memantulakan balls to the wall. Analysis using ANOVA. results show that: (1) no significant difference between the methods and audio-visual demonstration of the skills of tennis groundstrokes (2) there are significant differences between the tennis groundstrokes skills of students who have a kinesthetic perception of high and low, and(3) thereis a significant interaction between training methods and kinesthetic perception of the results of tennis groundstrokes.Keywords: demonstration, audio visual, kinesthetic perception, tennis groundstrokes

Abstract:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh antara Latihan forehand drive menggunakan feeding dengan Latihan forehand drive groundstroke ke dinding terhadap hasil forehand drive tenis lapangan atlet putri UKM USU Tennis Club. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet putri UKM USU Tennis Club yang berjumlah 10 orang. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 8 orang. Sampel di ambil dari populasi dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Instrumen penelitian untuk pengumpulan data dengan Forehand Drive Hewitt Tennis Achievement Test yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan forehand drive. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 6 (enam) minggu dengan latihan 3 kali dalam seminggu. Hasil uji hipotesis I diperoleh thitung =17,3 serta ttabel = 3,18 dengan a = 0,05 (thitung > ttabel) berarti Ho ditolak, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan forehand drive menggunakan feeding terhadap hasil forehand drive tenis lapangan atlet putri UKM USU Tennis Club. Hasil uji hipotesis II diperoleh thitung = 7 serta ttabel = 3,18 dengan a = 0,05 (thitung > ttabel) berarti Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan forehand drive groundstroke ke dinding terhadap hasil forehand drive tenis lapangan atlet putri UKM USU Tennis Club. Hasil Uji hipotesis III diperoleh thitung = 0,66 serta ttabel = 2,45 dengan a = 0,05 (thitung < ttabel) berarti Ho diterima, artinya latihan forehand drive menggunakan feeding secara signifikan lebih besar pengaruhnya dari latihan forehand drive groundstroke ke dinding terhadap hasil forehand drive tenis lapangan pada atlet putri UKM USU Tennis Club.

Kompetisi tenis lapangan biasanya dilakukan di outdoor dengan cuaca panas. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan atlet tenis lapangan kehilangan banyak cairan tubuh. Oleh karena itu, pengetahuan mengenai asupan cairan dan hidrasi perlu diketahui dengan baik oleh atlet. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengetahuan mengenai asupan cairan dan hidrasi pada atlet tenis lapangan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode survei dengan kuesioner. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet tenis lapangan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta yang terdiri dari atlet laki-laki dan perempuan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas atlet tenis lapangan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Yogyakata memiliki pengetahuan yang baik mengenai asupan cairan dan hidrasi dengan persentase sebesar 83,34% dari keseluruhan subjek penelitian. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan asupan cairan dan hidrasi atlet tenis lapangan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta termasuk pada kategori baik. Pengetahuan mengenai asupan cairan dan hidrasi perlu dioptimalkan kembali supaya seluruh atlet memiliki pengetahuan yang baik. This can cause tennis athletes to lose a lot of body fluids. Therefore, it is necessary to know well about fluid replacement and hydration by athletes. The purpose of this study was to determine knowledge about fluid replacement and hydration in tennis athletes at Yogyakarta State University. This research is quantitative descriptive. Collecting data using a survey method with a questionnaire. Subjects in this study were tennis athletes of the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta consisting of male and female athletes. The results showed that the student tennis athletes of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta had good knowledge about fluid replacement and hydration with a proportion of 83.34% of the total research subjects. Based on the results of the study, it can be ignored that the knowledge level of fluid replacement and hydration of tennis athletes is in the good category. Knowledge about fluid replacement and hydration needs to be re-optimized so that all athletes have good knowledge.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Populasi peneliti-an ini adalah atlet pemula usia 8-12 tahun. Sampel penelitian ini 28 atlet yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Varian (ANAVA) dua jalur yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05.Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Ada perbedaan pengaruh metode latihan drill umpan konstan dan metode drill umpan berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive tenis meja atlet pemula Yogyakarta, dimana metode latihan drill umpan berubah-ubah lebih baik dari metode drill umpan konstan, terbukti dari nilai p = 0,048 <0,05. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet tenis lapangan tingkat Daerah maupun Nasional di Indonesia. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 133 terdiri dari 42 petenis laki-laki junior dan 21 petenis perempuan junior, 44 petenis laki-laki senior, dan 26 petenis perempuan senior. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik insidental sampling yang dilakukan dengan cara insidental atau kebetulan saja tidak menggunakan perencanaan tertentu. Penelitian dilakukan pada minggu kedua bulan Februari sampai minggu keempat bulan Juni. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Hasil analisis data dari 133 orang petenis baik junior maupun senior menunjukkan bahwa baik motivasi, self efficacy, attitude, maupun kecemasan tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan prestasi. The population in this study are regional and national level tennis athletes in Indonesia. The research sample consisted of 133 consisting of 42 junior male tennis players and 21 junior female tennis players, 44 senior male tennis players, and 26 senior female tennis players. The sampling technique used in this study is incidental sampling technique which is done by incidental or coincidental by not using a particular plan. The study was conducted in the second week of February through the fourth week of June. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The results of data analysis of 133 tennis players, both junior and senior, indicate that neither motivation, self efficacy, attitude, or anxiety do not have a significant relationship with achievement.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, tes kemampuan servis forehand pada permainan tenis meja pada siswa laki-laki kelas VIII SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu dalam kategori Cukup yakni sebanyak 11 orang siswa laki-laki kelas VIII SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu atau dengan Persentase sebesar 37%. dan tes kemampuan servis Backhand pada permainan tenis meja pada siswa laki-laki kelas VIII SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu dalam kategori Kurang yakni sebanyak 13 orang siswa laki-laki kelas VIII SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu atau dengan Persentase sebesar 43%. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain The Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan anggota aktif unit kegiatan mahasiswa tenis meja Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 10 orang kelompok eksperimen dan 10 orang kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah instrumen kemampuan ketepatan forehand drive tenis meja untuk mengukur kemampuan ketepatan forehand drive. Instrument ini memiliki tingkat validitas tinggi 1 dan reliabilitas 0.96 dan reliabilitas 0.95. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis Paired T-Test dan Independent T-Test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan dengan metode life Kinetic memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan ketepatan pukulan pada anggota unit kegiatan mahasiswa tenis meja Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Maka dari itu, penulis merekomendasikan untuk menerapkan latihan life Kinetic dalam proses pelatihan tenis meja karena terbukti memberikan pengaruh bagi anggota unit kegiatan mahasiswa tenis meja Universitas Pendidikan IndonesiaThe effect of life kinetic training on table tennis forehand strike accuracyAbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of Life Kinetic training on the accuracy of forehand drive strokes in table tennis. Data analysis used the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, homogeneity test, and the Paired T-Test and Independent T-Test hypothesis testing. The treatment in this study was conducted 10 times by providing the Life Kinetic exercise method for the experimental group. The results of this study indicate that the exercise with the Life Kinetic method has a significant effect on increasing the accuracy of strokes for members of the table tennis student activity unit at the University of Indonesia Education. Therefore, the author recommends applying Life Kinetic exercises in the table tennis training process because it has been proven to have an effect on members of the table tennis student activity unit at the University of Indonesia Education

Subjek penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah olahraga pilihan tenis lapangan Prodi PJKR Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan total responden sebanyak 35 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pengukuran. Analisis data menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran terhadap hasil pukulan forehand tenis lapangan pada mahasiswa FIK UNY (p=0,000). Metode pembelajaran yang efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pukulan forehand mahasiswa adalah metode drill. Hasil pukulan forehand kelompok hasil taktis diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 13,71 dan pada kelompok hasil dril diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 18,83.Tidak terdapat pengaruh kelincahan terhadap hasil pukulan forehand tenis lapangan pada mahasiswa FIK UNY (p=161). Tidak ada interaksi metode pembelajaran dan kelincahan terhadap hasil pukulan forehand tenis lapangan pada mahasiswa FIK UNY (p=0,735). The subject of this research is that students who take courses in sports tennis Program study option PJKR Faculty of Sport Science, State University of Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with as many as 35 people total respondents. Data collection instruments by using test measurements. Analysis of the data using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results show there are significant learning methods to the results on the tennis forehand FIK UNY students (p = 0.000). The effective learning method used to improve the ability of students is the forehand drill method. The forehand tactical group obtained an average value of 13.71, and the tactical group obtained an average value of 18.83. There is no influence on the result of agility tennis forehand on student FIK UNY (p= 0.161). There is no influence on the result learning method and agility tennis forehand on student FIK UNY (p= 0.735).

Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Sampel penelitian adalah 32 orang petenis pemula mahasiswa PJKR FIK UNY yang mengambil mata kuliah olahraga pilihan tenis yang diambil dengan teknik Purposive Random Sampling. Seluruh data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes dan pengukuran terhadap koordinasi dengan menggunakan tes koordinasi mata-tangan serta keterampilan forehand drive dengan Hewitt Tennis Test. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Varian (ANAVA) dua jalur yang dilanjutkan dengan uji pairwise comparisons pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan imagery dengan menggunakan script dan video terhadap keterampilan forehand drive. (2) Ada perbedaan keterampilan forehand drive antara petenis pemula yang memiliki koordinasi tinggi dan koordinasi rendah. The method of research was experimental with 2 x 2 factorial designs. Sample of research was 32 students of Physical Education Health and Recreation Study Program of The Faculty Sport ScienceUniversitas Negeri Yopgyakarta who take tennis lesson which taking with purposive random sampling technique. Data were obtained by a test and measurement on the coordination using eye-hand coordination test. Besides, forehand drive skills measurement was obtained by using Hewitt Tennis Test. The data analysis technique used was the two lines variant analysis (ANAVA) followed by pairwise comparisons test at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of this research indicate that: (1) there is a significant difference between imagery exercise using script and video on forehand drive skill. (2) there is a difference of forehand drive skills between beginner tennis players with high and low coordination. The National Tennis Federations (NTFs) are the governing organisations of tennis at the national level. They are affiliated to their respective Regional Federations, their National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and the International Tennis Federation (ITF). Olympic Solidarity (OS) is an organisation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) that helps NOCs to develop the sport in their countries through a range of programmes targeting athletes, coaches, infrastructure, programmes, events, and values. The purpose of this article is to reflect on the importance of an efficient and professional collaboration between the NFs and OS, through the NOCs, to use the available resources to improve the management of tennis development at national level. After outlining some general aspects regarding the different organisations and their programmes, a section is included in which the strategies carried out by the Asociación Paraguaya de Tenis are presented to serve as an example of good practice for other NFs.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of periodized core training program on the serve velocity in male tennis players aged 11-13 years. 24 male nationally ranged (age 11.9±1.63, height 154.4±11.32, weight 43±8.76) participated to the study from a professional tennis club. Pre-post-training - control group design was applied and subjects were randomly assigned to Control Group and Training Group. Training Group participated to the core training program consisted of isometric and isotonic core stabilization exercises on stable and nonstable surfaces, three days in a week for 8 weeks in addition to tennis training sessions. Accurate service velocity, was assessed initially and at the end of the 8-week core program for both control and training groups. There was a significant improvement (6.6 %) in the serve velocity for the training group after the experiment, whereas there were no differences in the control group. Core stabilization training improved service velocity for young tennis players. It is recommended tennis coaches to apply periodized core stabilization exercises to young athletes and plan training programs in this way. ÖzetBu çalışmanın amacı 11-13 yaş arası erkek tenisçilerde periyodlanmış core antrenman programının isabetli servis hızına etkisini incelemektir. Çalışmaya profesyonel bir tenis kulübünden ulusal müsabık 24 erkek tenisçi (yaş 11.9±1.63, boy 154.4±11.32, ağırlık 43±8.76) katılmıştır. Araştırmada ön-test son-test kontrol gruplu model uygulanmış, denekler iki gruba rastgele atanmıştır. 12 sporcu Kontrol Grubunu, 12 sporcu ise Deney Grubunu oluşturmuştur. Deney Grubuna haftanın üç günü yarım saatlik 8 hafta boyunca toplamda 24 antrenman birimi stabil ve stabil olmayan yüzeylerde izometrik ve izotonik core stabilizasyon egzersizlerinden oluşan program, tenis antrenmanlarına ek olarak uygulanmıştır. Program öncesi ve sonrasında her katılımcı maksimal hızda 10 servis kullanarak en hızlı ve geçerli atışları kaydedilmiştir. Core antrenman uygulaması sonrası Kontrol Grubunun servis atış hızı değişmezken, Deney Grubu servis atış hızını ortalama 120.93 km/s hızdan 128.6 km/s hıza (% 6.6) çıkarmıştır. Core antrenman uygulamalarının genç tenisçilerde isabetli servis hızını olumlu etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Tenis antrenörlerinin yüksek şiddet içermeyen, core antrenmanlarını ve stabilizasyon uygulamalarını genç sporcularda uygulamasının yararlı olacağı düşünülmekte ve antrenman programlarını buna göre planlamaları tavsiye edilmektedir.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah modalitas Fisioterapi berupa microwave diathermy (MWD), mill’s manipulation, pain free grip strength dan kinesio taping efektif digunakan dalam penanganan kasus tennis elbow tipe 2. Dengan metode penelitian case report (studi kasus) yang dilakukan pada seorang pasien tennis elbow di klinik Fisioterapi Muskuloskeletal Esa Unggul yang dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2021. Hasil penelitian di dapatkan bahwa intervensi Fisioterap yang dilakukan selama 4 kali pertemuan menunjukkan hasil akhir berupa penurunan nyeri, peningkatan kekuatan otot tangan dan peningkatan kemampuan fungsional pasien.

Perlunya mengetahui data/informasi mengenai manajemen pelatih dan atlet cabang olahraga tenis lapangan di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu urgensi untuk dapat menjadikan data tersebut sebagai landasan evaluasi manajemen pelatih dan atlet sebagai salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pencapaian prestasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh dan menggambarkan data mengenai manajemen pelatih dan atlet pada cabang olahraga tenis lapangan di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penentuan sumber data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pengurus PELTI, pelatih dan altet tenis lapangan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara kepada subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian terdiri dari data manajemen pelatih dan atlet. Untuk hasil data manajemen pelatih menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kualitas pelatih termasuk pada kategori baik, (2) manajemen promosi dan degradasi pelatih kurang baik, dan (3) kesejahteraan pelatih kurang baik, sedangkan hasil data manajemen atlet menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kualitas atlet cukup baik, (2) promosi dan degradasi atlet cukup baik, serta (3) kesejahteraan atlet cukup baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajemen pelatih tenis masih kurang baik, sedangkan manajemen atlet pada pembinaan cabang olahraga tenis lapangan di DIY sudah cukup baik, namun masih perlu perbaikan dan pemaksimalan pada beberapa indikator. A Study on coaches and athletes management of tennis achievement Development AbstractTennis is one of the sports that develops in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and has the potential to contribute to the achievement of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Many factors affect the achievement of sports achievements, one of these factors is the quality of coaches and athletes. Good management is needed for coaches and athletes in sports branches of achievement to be able to achieve maximum performance. The need to know data / information about the management of tennis coaches and athletes in the Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of the urgencies to be able to make the data as a basis for evaluating coach and athlete management as one of the factors that influence achievement. Therefore, this study aims to obtain and describe data on the management of coaches and athletes in the tennis branch of Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Determination of data sources using purposive sampling techniques. The subjects of this study were PELTI administrators, trainers and tennis athletes in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and interviews with research subjects. The results of the study consisted of management data of coaches and athletes. The results of the coaches management data showed that: (1) the coaches quality is good, (2) the promotion and degradation of the coaches training is not good, and (3) the coaches welfare is not good, while the results of the athlete's management data showed that: (1) the quality of the athlete is quite good, (2) athlete promotion and degradation is quite good, and (3) athlete's welfare is quite good. Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the management of tennis coaches is still not good, while the management of athletes in fostering the sport of tennis in DIY is quite good, but it still needs improvement and maximization of several indicators.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan tahapan meliputi menggali potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, rancangan produk, pembuatan produk, validasi produk, revisi produk, uji skala kecil, uji skala besar dan uji efektivitas. Subjek pada uji skala kecil terdiri dari dua orang pelatih dan delapan yunior pemula. Subjek pada skala besar terdiri dari empat pelatih tenis DIY, dan tiga belas yunior pemula. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat bantu servis yang dikembangkan berdasarkan syarat edukatif, teknik, dan estetika. Alat bantu servis yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak oleh ahli tenis, ahli teknologi pembelajaran, ahli teknologi dan rekayasa dengan kategori “baik”, serta oleh pelatih dan yunior pemula dengan kategori “baik”. Alat bantu servis efektif untuk meningkatkan teknik servis yunior pemula dengan hasil kenaikan dengan rerata sebesar 13,06. Developing a learning aid to basic motions in tennis service techniques for junior beginners AbstractThis study aims to produce a learning aid to effective tennis service techniques to improve the serving techniques of junior beginners, relevant to the educational, technical, and esthetic requirements. This was a research and development study using the steps of potential and problem investigation, information collection, product design, product making, product validation, product revision, small-scale appropriateness testing, large-scale appropriateness testing, and effectiveness testing. The subjects in the small-scale testing were two coaches and eight junior beginners. The subjects in the large-scale testing were four tennis coaches of Yogyakarta Special Region and 13 junior beginners. The results of the study show that the junior beginner service aid is developed on the basis of the rules of educative, technical, and esthetic requirements. The developed service aid is appropriate for the tennis experts, learning technology experts, engineering experts with a good category, and a good category from the coaches and junior beginners. The serving aid is effective to improve junior beginners’ service techniques with an improvement of 13.06.

Para-atlet dikenal juga dengan sebutan atlet yang menyandang disabilitas pada bagian tertentu. Pembagian cabang olahraga pada difabel atlet hampir sama dengan atlet umumnya, namun memiliki penyesuaian terhadap jenis cacat fisik yang dialami. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi profil antropometri dan pemenuhan asupan zat gizi pada atlet difabel tenis meja. Metode yang digunakan pada studi ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu atlet difabel tenis meja di bawah pengawasan Kementrian Pemuda dan Olahraga, Indonesia yang sedang melakukan training centre untuk persiapan Sea Games 2017. Sampel yang diikutkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh populasi atlet difabel tenis meja nasional yang berjumlah 16 orang. Data antropometri yang diukur yaitu tinggi badan, berat badan, persen lemak tubuh dan somatotipe. Data pemenuhan asupan zat gizi didapatkan melalui wawancara makan dengan kuesioner recall 24 jam. Pengukuran antropometri menunjukan bahwa atlet tenis meja laki-laki memiliki tubuh yang lebih tinggi dan berotot dimana atlet perempuan cenderung lebih banyak presentase lemak tubuh. Hal ini didukung dengan nilai persen lemak tubuh atlet perempuan dan komponen somatotipe bagian endomorf yang lebih tinggi, sedangkan komponen somatotipe mesomorf yang menunjukan otot lebih tinggi pada atlet laki-laki. Rata-rata pemenuhan asupan zat gizi makro pada atlet tenis meja laki-laki dan perempuan diketahui < 80% yang masuk dalam kategori pemenuhan asupan makan yang kurang. Identification of Anthropometry and Dietary Profile on Table Tennis Para-Athlete in Indonesia AbstractPara-athlete also known as an athlete who has physical disability. The division of sports in difabel athletes is almost the same as athletes generally, but it has an adjustment to the type of physical disability experienced. The aim of this study is to identification anthropometry dan dietary profile on table tennis para-athlete. The study used quantitative descriptive methods. Population of this study is table tennis para-athlete under supervision of Ministry of Youth and Sports on training centre Sea Games 2017. Sample that include in this study is all of 16 table tennis national para-athlete. Measurements of atnhropometry are height, weight, body fat and somatotype. Measurement of dietary intake using food recall 24 hours questionnaire. Anthropometry measurement shows that male athletes have a higher and lots of muscle posture when women athletes have more body fat. The data also shows value of endomorf somatotype and percent body fat on women higher than male athletes. Dietary intake of energy, carbohydrate, protein and fat shows < 80% which mean inadequat intake of daily food.

Changes in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rulebook at the beginning of 2019 regarding the special ranking for pregnancy or parental start and the uprising in sports psychology investigations regarding this theme in elite sport, inspired this study. The aim was to explore whether the changes in the WTA regulations modifies the vision of the possibility to combine motherhood and professional tennis career in both current and former elite tennis players. Participants were 10 Spanish female elite tennis players, some mothers (n = 3) and others non-mothers (n = 7). For data collection, a semi-structured interview was used and, through thematic content analysis, three themes were defined: (a) game, set and match: is it enough just by changing the rules? (b) Centre court: to serve tennis player and mom vs. at the return tennis player and (c) warning coaching: tennis as a team sport. The results of the study revealed that motherhood and an elite tennis career is possible to combine even though it is still a feat for the mother athlete. Our study suggests strategies that could favour motherhood with an elite tennis career: (a) have the support from the athletes’ entourage, (b) having financial support or funding, (c) have some areas or rooms destined for children in tournaments and (d) provide basic services for children in tournaments. El cambio de normativa de la Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) a principios del 2019 sobre maternidad y el auge de investigaciones en psicología del deporte sobre este tema en el deporte de élite, inspiraron este estudio cuyo objetivo fue explorar si el cambio de normativa modifica la visión de la compaginación de maternidad y carrera tenística en tenistas profesionales en activo y retiradas, madres y no madres. Participaron 10 mujeres tenistas españolas, algunas madres (n = 3) y otras no (n = 7). Para la recolección de datos se utilizó una entrevista semi-estructurada y a partir de un análisis temático del contenido se definieron tres temas: (a) game, set and match: ¿es suficiente solo con cambiar la normativa? (b) Centre court: al servicio mama-tenista versus al resto tenista, y (c) warning coaching: el tenis como deporte de equipo. Los resultados revelan como las modificaciones del reglamento facilitan un primer paso hacia la compatibilización de la maternidad con el tenis de élite, pero aún hacen falta más medidas de acompañamiento como las sugeridas en este estudio: (a) contar con el apoyo del entorno psicosocial de la deportista, (b) disponer de una ayuda económica, (c) disponer de espacios para los hijos en el entorno deportivo y (d) facilitar elementos básicos para los niños en los torneos. Para a coleta de dados, foi utilizada uma entrevista semiestruturada e, a partir da análise temática de conteúdo, foram definidos três temas: (a) jogo, jogo e jogo: basta mudar o regulamento? (b) Quadra central: servir a jogadora-mãe contra o resto da jogadora, e (c) orientação de advertência: tênis como esporte de equipe. Os resultados revelam como as modificações nas normas facilitam um primeiro passo para compatibilizar a maternidade com o tênis de elite, mas ainda são necessárias medidas de apoio como as sugeridas neste estudo: (a) contar com o apoio do ambiente psicossocial da atleta, (b) ter auxílio financeiro, (c) ter vagas para crianças no ambiente esportivo e (d) fornecer elementos básicos para as crianças em torneios.

Some of the beginner athletes in UKM of court tennis in UPGRIS conduct swing on the forehand striking in a slightly different way. Some when swinging with fully straight arms, some are slightly bent. The aim of the study is to investigate the differences between elbow extension and elbow flexion toward the accuracy level of forehand striking of court tennist. This research method uses comparative design. The sample of this study is the tennis players of the students in Universitas PGRI Semarang, the total are 7 people. The Hewiit Tennis Achievement Test is used for forehand striking instruments and dartfish software to find out the differences between the elbow movements and the analysis. Independent t-test is used to find out the differences of the striking accuracy result. The results show the significant differencs between elbow extension and elbow flexion with an average score of 22 and 63, with the significance value of a difference of 0.001. The conclusion of this research is that the elbow flexion movement in forwardswing step is better than elbow extension movement.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran tenis lapangan pada siswa sekolah dasar kelas atas dan dapat membantu mengatasi masalah keterbatasan sumber belajar di lingkungan sekolah dasar khususnya materi permainan bola kecil cabang tenis lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar kelas atas (4, 5 dan 6). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan. Pengembangan dilakukan dalam beberapa langkah, yaitu: (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) proses pengembangan, (3) uji lapangan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua aspek dalam media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sangat baik. Penilaian ini dilihat dari hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan terhadap guru Penjasorkes serta siswa setelah siswa menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi metode pembelajaran serta isi dari media VCD pembelajaran. Hasil uji operasional dilihat dari komponen penilaian siswa terhadap metode pembelajaran dalam uji operasional yang dikembangkan mendapatkan nilai sangat baik yaitu pada 95,63% dan dari isi VCD pembelajaran telah mencapai pada kriteria sangat baik pada 94,35%. Seluruh rerata penilaian yang diperoleh termasuk ke dalam kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan rerata penilaian tersebut, maka media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mengajarkan permainan tenis lapangan pada anak sekolah dasar kelas atas. Selain itu dapat membantu para guru Penjasorkes dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran permainan bola kecil khususnya tenis lapangan. THE DEVELOPMENT OF INSTRUCTIONAL MEDIA VCD IN TENNIS BALL GAMES FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTSAbstract The purpose of this research is to develop tennis instructional games media used for elementary school children in the upper class. The subjects of this research is students in the upper class of elementary school. This research was Research and Development design. The development was conduc-ted through some steps, i.e.: (1) prestudy, (2) development process, (3) field test. Prestudy covered a reference study and a field study. Development process included goal analysis, ability analysis, learning module design development, and materials and media expert validations. Field test covered restricted a field test, broader field test and operational test. The research instrument used evaluation sheets. The research result shows all aspects in developed learning media, in general, are considered as excellent ones. This appraisal is showed from the result of evaluation which was given by the teacher to his students after the students used that instructional media. The result of operational test showed that students evaluation component toward learning method in operational test get an excellent value of 95.63% and from the content of instructional media VCD falls in good criteria of 94.35%. All of the evaluation average reached in an excellent criteria. According to the evaluation, the instructional media can be used to teach tennis ball games among elementary school students in upper class. Penelitian ini dilakukan di komunitas tenis lapangan unimed yang berlokasi di Jalan Williem Iskandar Pasar V No. 1589 (lapangan Tennis FIK UNIMED). Pengambilan data dimulai dari tanggal 01 Desember – 23 Desember 2020, dengan jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang. Metode penelitian ini adalah Eksperimen dengan melakukan tes awal (pre test) yaitu forehand drive, kemudian sampel diberikan perlakukan berupa latihan medicine ball twist toss dan forearm pronation exercise dengan program latihan yang telah disusun. Kemudian setelah kurang lebih empat minggu menjalani latihan terprogram, sampel melakukan tes akhir (post test). Analisis hipotesis yaitu, pengaruh latihan medicine ball twist toss dan forearm pronation exercise terhadap peningkatan kemampuan forehand drive komunitas tenis lapangan UNIMED tahun 2020, diperoleh thitung 4,21 dan ttabel 2,26 pada taraf nyata α = 0,05 maka thitung > ttabel. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian hipotesis yaitu H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka dalam penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa “terdapat pengaruh latihan latihan medicine ball twist tossdan forearm pronation excercise terhadap peningkatan hasil pukulan forehand drive dalam permainan tennis.

Penelitian dilakukan pada jam belajar mata kuliah pilihan semester tiga mahasiswa penjas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), penelitian ini secara obyektif atau apa adanya dengan subyek mahasiswa penjas mata kuliah pilihan tenis meja berjumlah 30 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu : (1) pendahuluan, (2) Inti (3) Penutup . Jenis data yang dikumpulkan proses belajar – mengajar berlangsung. Adapun hasil pengamatan terhadap mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar pada servis forehand dan backhand melalui media dinding permainan tenis meja pada siklus I adalah sebesar 55% dari keseluruhan pengamatan terhadap proses belajar mengajar. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85%. Sedangkan hasil pengamatan terhadap dosen pada siklus I sebesar 65% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 90%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya peningkatan yang sangat berarti dalam penerapan pembelajaran servis forehand dan backhand melalui media dinding pada mahasiswa penjas.Kata Kunci : Penerapan Media Dinding, Service Forehand Backhand, Tenis Meja. AbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement in the learning process of table tennis on forehand and backhand service through the wall media for Physical Education students. The study was conducted on the hours of learning elective courses of the third semester Physical Education students. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR), this study objectively or as it is with the subject physical education students in elective courses table tennis, amounting to 30 people. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 stages: (1) introduction, (2) Core (3) Closing. The type of data collected in the teaching and learning process. As for the results of observations of students in the teaching and learning process in the forehand and backhand service through the table tennis wall media in the first cycle were 55% of all observations of the teaching and learning process. In the second cycle increased to 85%. While the observations of lecturers in the first cycle were 65% and increased in the second cycle to 90%. So it can be concluded that there was a very significant increase in the application of learning forehand and backhand services through wall media on Physical Education students.Keywords: Application of Wall Media, Forehand Backhand Service, Table Tennis.

La utilización, cada vez más frecuente, del Tenis de Mesa como contenido en las clases de Educación Física en centros de enseñanza Primaria y Secundaria, hace que cobre especial importancia su adecuada enseñanza, puesto que a través de su práctica se puede formar a la persona en los distintos ámbitos: motor, afectivo, cognitivo y social. Enseñanza que, en nuestra opinión, debe partir de las características del deporte y de sus potencialidades educativas, aunque como es bien sabido, el deporte puede ser, o no, educativo, dependiendo de la utilización que hagamos del mismo. Por lo que, y siguiendo a Tabernero, Márquez, y Llanos (2002), la figura clave de la iniciación deportiva va a ser el técnico/profesor. Por este motivo, abogamos por una práctica educativa del Tenis de Mesa.Abstract: The table tennis is a sport which is practised increasingly in the world, so much in the federative and competitive fields as educative and recreative ones. The frequent use of the table tennis as content in the physical education lessons makes that its suitable teaching receives special importance, because with its practice we can educate people in different fields: motor, affective, cognitive and social. We think that this teaching must begin from characteristics of the sport and its educational possibilities, even though, as it is known, sport can be, or not, educative, depending on the use that we made of it. Following to Tabernero, Márquez, y Llanos (2002), the main person will be the coach/teacher in the sports initiation. For this reason we defend an educational practice of the table tennis.

Aim. Tennis popularity in Greece has been gaining ground in the last decade. The study examines the views of Greek tennis players about the sport. Materials and methods. The survey was conducted during the Hellenic Juniors' Tennis Tournament that took place in Athens, March 2019. Data were collected from a sample of 45 teenagers, participating at the Tournament. Survey participants completed a self-completion questionnaire. Data were analyzed with SPSS. Questions regarded the demographics and the teenagers' beliefs about the level of tennis in Greece, their preferences regarding tennis coaches, whether there are opportunities for tennis athletes to be promoted in Greece, the preferred characteristics of trainings and their view about organization of tennis in Greece. Results. The level of tennis in Greece is considered moderate to high. The quality of coaching is considered to be medium to high and coaches are expected to display many qualities and give at least once a month their feedback to the athletes. Tennis is an expensive sport that needs to be advertised by the media. The introduction of tennis in schools would augment the popularity of tennis in Greece. Conclusion. In order to have a broader view of tennis in Greece, it is important to take into consideration the beliefs of young tennis players, as well as the beliefs of tennis coaches and tennis agents.

Abstract:
Table tennis is a very popular sport in the world, including Indonesia. Table tennis Sports in Indonesia is headed by the All-Indonesia Table Tennis Association (PTMSI). In addition, Indonesia also has the largest table tennis community, Table Tennis Mania, consisting of 25,000 members who are active in social media Facebook. The purpose of making this application is to help the experienced table tennis players to choose the appropriate table tennis blade using the decision support system the SMART method. This Method allows the system to calculate player`s playing frequency with the blade`s spesification resulting the best recommendation for the player. Also this website can be used by the players of table tennis or table tennis sellers to do the sale of table tennis blade through the marketplace. This website has been tested by several people in various table Tennis Union (PTM) in Jakarta and produce positive feedback.
