Full textThe exciton plays a central role in the functioning of organic solar cells (OSCs). Understanding its dynamics in organic semiconductors is essential, particularly to optimize the diffusion length, a key property for the performance of planar heterojunctions, which are considered as a potentially more stable alternative to bulk heterojunctions (BHJ) in certain contexts. In the first part of this thesis, we developed a robust and versatile methodological approach to evaluate the exciton diffusion length in organic semiconductors. This method, based on AIMD-ROKS, was successfully validated for the P3HT polymer. It was also applied to the NFA O-IDTBR acceptor, revealing promising diffusion lengths, though still insufficient for planar heterojunctions. The second part of the thesis explores heat transfer in organic semiconductors, a crucial element for the performance of thermoelectric devices. These studies focused on P3HT, a material used in thermoelectricity. First, the thermal conductivity within P3HT chains was studied, revealing the influence of polymer chain length. Then, heat transfers between these chains were also examined

Full textThis work takes into consideration the relationship, as in a phenomenological perspective, between the notions of time and life, and their transcendental implications. To this aim, here is presented a research coping with the study, thematic more than historiographic, and with the development of those issues that, even if not always tackled as such by Husserl himself, deal with the deeper core of Husserlian oeuvre. This dissertation reconsiders the status of the transcendental after the articulation between life and time, that is to say, between life and death, interpreting in this light the whole evolution of Western philosophy, significantly unwound under the sign of Socrates’ death.Husserl gives the impression to swing back and forth between the necessity of distinguishing life, as transcendental determination, and temporality, inasmuch as related to the dimension of the constituted, and their assimilation, insofar as he acknowledges to a certain type of temporality a constituent and absolute originarity. In other words, the attempt to define life meets the same ambiguity already emerged at the time of the Zeitvorlesungen about the absolute conscience: as the threshold between constituent and constituted temporality grows thinner and more permeable, that between life and temporality softens in what Husserl calls Vor-Zeitigung and that «we have no names [for]». Two issues are here at stake: on one hand, the possibility to think life without reducing it to a physical or biological determination, shying away from any naturalism (which does not entail its complete disrepute); on the other, the chance to consider life without connecting it to a psychologistic understanding, as the link with temporality would imply, though preserving, instead, the priority of sense
Manier, Dorian. "L’œuvre, le temps, la vie dans les écrits de Gaëtan Picon." Thesis, Sorbonne université, 2019. http://www.theses.fr/2019SORUL119.
Full textWhen Gaetan Picon wrote in 1970 « Every piece of art is simultaneously a picture, a depiction, and the presence of an existence » in Admirable tremblement du temps, he offered a convincing definition of the nature of a work of art. Critic of art and literature, philosopher, teacher, Director-General of Arts and Letters, and above all an independent thinker, he devoted his life to Art and Literature. Through his articles, essays and novels, his personal experience of writing and artwork, and his writings on art that were infused with his own particular sensibility, he created a new experience out of the beloved artwork, seeking to understand and explain it through personal identification. He considered that each artwork asks the observer to question its form and meaning, and the effect achieved. A work of art requires to be written about, and is a challenge to life, existence and culture in the way it is received and interpreted, in what we make of it. And in return the observer also seeks life, existence and culture. In what way is art related to conscience, to the language that we use, and to the world as we perceive it ? In what way are conscience, history and existence products of art ? In short, how can it exist for us and yet outside of us at the same time ? The questions that Gaetan Picon studied impose necessarily an exploration using multiples perspectives. We must examine at the same time language, performance, the world and creation from attentive reading of his writings. In all of them Gaetan Picon carefully brought new ideas to the experience of art. This present doctoral thesis will offer an interpretation and an acknowledgment of this experience

Full textThe development of television and radio on demand addresses the issue of the sustainable use of programs offered in linear mode. Those classic programs can be regarded as restricting in a time marked by the massive individualization of the way of experiencing daily time and space. Yet, people use more and more those classic media. Time for television or radio is constantly increasing. The case of working mothers seems to be an apparent paradox: they can dedicate a growing part of their daily time to the medias, while it’s more and more difficult for them to succeed in daily organization. They already must manage multiple times: working, family, social time. . . Then, the question is: when, how and why do they include media time in this full schedule? Is the schedule of traditional linear media in line with their way of life? The assumption is that they use media, among other reasons, to maintain a form of time stability in everyday life. To validate this hypothesis, the connections between the different times of daily life must be defined, focusing on media time. We chose to organize the investigation in two ways. Fisrt, we analyzed the offer of television and radio (technology developments and evolution of schedules) in order to understand the temporality created by media themselves. Then, we looked into the reasons why working women use media. First of all, it seems that media time is a copy of social time: the schedules have been created in order to be in adequacy with public time. But, retrospectively, the users, and mainly women, use them to maintain the stability of their time, in a context marked by intense time changes

Full textThis thesis deals with the question of social time as a strategic issue for the metropolitan revolutionary communities in France from the study of three of them located in Caen, Rennes and Nantes. This work seeks to show the historical processes of the institution of social time and attempts to destitute it. It begins by an epistemological and methodological return on the constitution of sociology through a discussion between Durkheim and Marx. We defend the hypothesis according to which the discipline is constituted more like a science of the established order aiming at the stabilization of the institutions. Then, with other authors, we try to clear the ways of a sociology of the destitution which undertakes a politics of intervention. Therefore, we begin at first (part 2) to investigate in a classical critical sociology’s way based on a sociohistorical approach of domination – in this case a history of the institution of social time through a study of work, of everyday life and power relations. In parts 3 and 4 we propose a socioanthropology of communist forms-of-life leading at the same time a fight against the instituted social time (revolutionary countertimes, negative dimension) and affirming a relation to the time starting from the activities (revolutionary counter-time, positive dimension). The aim of this thesis is to show how a post-capitalist horizon experiences itself here and now, the way in which it takes over or not the question of the domination of the instituted social time, the way, also, which it is repressed
