Abstract:
Spiders collected as part of a rapid biodiversity survey in lowland forest in Democratic Republic Congo contained a new species of Cangoderces Harington, 1951 (Telemidae). The male of the new Cangoderces wewef sp. n. is characterized by the male palp with a deep triangular dorsal indentation of the bulbus and the apophyses at the base of the embolus. The female is recognized by the shape of the sclerotized spermatheca in the endogyne. The presence of the species in DR Congo fills the huge distribution gap between the species known from South Africa, Kenya and western Africa.

Abstract:
A new species of the genus Pinelema Wang & Li, 2012, occurring in caves of the state of Bahia in Northeastern Brazil, is described and illustrated. This species has the typical troglobitic characters, such as the absence of eyes, elongation of legs and setae, and pale, almost depigmented, somatic coloration. Data on the natural history of populations of P. elinae sp. nov. from caves in the Serra do Ramalho, State of Bahia, are presented. This work represents the first description of a relictual species of Telemidae spiders in Brazil.

Layanan telemedis memberikan kesempatan kepada dokter dan pasien untuk saling berinteraksi dari jarak jauh. Layanan telemedis antara dokter dan dokter telah lama berkembang dalam bentuk konsul, dan saat ini telesurgery dan teleradiologi merupakan fitur yang potensial untuk dikembangkan. Sementara itu layanan telemedis dokter-pasien makin berkembang bersama dunia internet, dan harus memperhatikan keterbatasan keyakinan profesional dokter terhadap kondisi klinis pasien, harapan dokter dan pasien dari layanan telemedis, dan aspek konfidensialitas informasi. Layanan telemedis memberikan kesempatan untuk menyelenggarakan praktik kedokteran yang terbebas dari batasan jarak, namun hendaknya tidak diarahkan untuk menggantikan interaksi tatap muka dokter-pasien. Layanan telemedis sebagai bagian dari kemajuan teknologi memang bersifat disruptif, oleh karena itu diperlukan regulasi untuk memastikan perkembangan layanan telemedis sesuai dengan tujuan dan nilai-nilai luhur etika kedokteran berdasarkan Kode Etik Kedokteran dan Sumpah Dokter. Pemerintah, Ikatan Dokter Indonesia, dan Majelis Kehormatan Etik Kedokteran diharapkan dapat mendukung dan mengawal perkembangan layanan telemedis ini ke arah yang baik dan saling bekerja sama dalam audit dan evaluasi layanan-layanan telemedis di Indonesia.

Dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarkat ini, dilakukan kajian untuk menggali pemahaman Masyarakat, dan dari hasil kajian diketahuai bahwa dari 30 responden yang terlibat dalam kajian ini hanya 3 orang yang memahami tentang pemanfaatan telemedis, dan dari 3 orang tersebut hanya 1 responden yang benar-benar memanfaatan aplikasi telemedis yaitu Halodoc dan Alodokter, dengan lama penggunaan kurang lebih 2 tahun terakhir, dari total seluruh responden sebanyak 30 orang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa masih banyak warga yang belum mengenal telemedis secara penuh, sehingga sangat kurang memanfaatkan aplikasi telemedis

Latar Belakang: Selama beberapa tahun, pelayanan perawatan kehamilan di berbagai tempat melibatkan 12-14 kunjungan tatap muka selama kehamilan. Telemedis mulai diterapkan untuk mengurangi kunjungan tatap muka karena adanya pandemi COVID. Tujuan: artikel ini bertujuan untuk meninjau kemajuan terkini dalam telemedis yang digunakan untuk memberikan pelayanan perawatan kehamilan. Metode: Scooping Metode berdasarkan Arskey & O’Malley. Hasil: Kami melakukan tinjauan naratif yang meneliti dampak telemedis terhadap perawatan kehamilan. Ada dua jenis telemedis yang digunakan dalam perawatan kehamilan. Yang pertama adalah telemedis real-time, dimana konsultasi dilakukan secara virtual, bukan tatap muka. Yang kedua adalah pemantauan jarak jauh, dimana pemeriksaan fisik di klinik digantikan dengan pemeriksaan alternatif di rumah. Ini dapat mencakup pemantauan tekanan darah, pemantauan detak jantung janin, dan teknologi baru seperti tele-ultrasound. Telemedis dalam layanan antenatal tampaknya dapat diterima baik oleh wanita hamil maupun penyedia layanan kesehatan. Kesimpulan: Penerapan teknologi telemedis dapat meningkatkan pengalaman perawatan antenatal bagi perempuan dan mengurangi pengeluaran layanan kesehatan tanpa memberikan dampak buruk pada kesehatan ibu dan bayinya. Diperlukan lebih banyak penelitian untuk memastikan bahwa telemedis tidak mengubah risiko kejadian langka seperti kematian ibu dan bayi.

Abstract:
285 Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically impacted access to and delivery of healthcare in the U.S. At the height of the pandemic, many practices began initiating or increasing telemed visits to meet care demands in a quarantined environment. The objective of this descriptive study was to assess mO/H perceptions of benefits and barriers to current and post-pandemic use of telemed in oncology. Methods: Web-based surveys were fielded to mO/H before virtual meetings held between September and November 2020. Participants submitted their demographic information and responses to questions about pandemic impacts on their practice and patients. Responses were aggregated and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: A total of 259 mO/H across the U.S. completed the survey; 73% practice in a community setting; 44% identify as hospital employees. The participants spend a median of 90% of their working time in direct patient care, have a median of 18 years of clinical experience, and see a median of 20 patients per day on clinic days. Before the pandemic, 92% of the participants’ practices had telemed capabilities but of those, 77% were not utilizing telemed for any visits. During the pandemic, almost all the participants’ practices were offering telemed, with 97% reporting some patient visits being conducted via telemed. Most (78%) anticipate continuing to offer or conduct some patient visits via telemed. Two-thirds stated that up to 25% of their patient visits could be converted to telemed outside of a pandemic environment. The types of visits that most believe are suitable for telemed include reviewing test/lab results, routine surveillance of chronic conditions, and survivorship care visits. Most (60%) stated that their patients view telemed favorably. About half reported a positive overall experience with telemed, with 47% reporting a better-than-expected experience. Most (79%) estimated that pivoting to telemed equates to a revenue loss of up to 50% for that visit; 53% feel that telemed has had an overall negative financial impact on their practice. Two-thirds have experienced challenges getting reimbursed for telemed claims. The most common challenges with telemed reported were reluctance or inability of patients to participate in telemed (39%) and technology challenges (37%). The most common benefit of telemed reported was safety, i.e., less potential exposure to COVID-19 for providers and staff (65%). Conclusions: Telemed use was infrequent before the pandemic, but utilization has dramatically increased during the pandemic. Despite favorable experiences with telemed, mO/H expect telemed use to decline significantly post-pandemic. This prediction may be driven by the perceived loss of revenue when an in-person visit is converted to telemed visit. Further research is needed in identifying factors that may allow for the long-term adoption of telemed for appropriate patients.

Kebijakan pemerintah untuk pembatasan sosial berkala dan Adaptasi kebiasaan Baru (AKB), mendorong masyarakat untuk menyesuaikan perilaku dengan menyesuaikan diri mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang ditetapkan sejak hadirnya pandemi COVID-19 di Indonesia. Dalam sektor Kesehatan, penyesuaian dilakukan dengan gencarnya pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat secara daring. Telemedis dapat memberikan pelayanan perawatan rutin tanpa risiko tertular Covid-19 karena dilakukan secara daring. Meskipun Telemedis menawarkan banyak manfaat potensial, namun mendorong penggunaannya pada masyarakat merupakan sebuah tantangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi sikap terhadap Telemedis selama masa pembatasan sosial dan Adaptasi kebiasaan Baru (AKB) pandemi COVID-19 di Indonesia, kemudian menilai kesediaan masyarakat untuk menggunakan layanan tersebut di masa depan, dan mengevaluasi sejauh mana responden telah berubah pikiran tentang layanan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua pendekatan analisis statistik. Pendekatan pertama adalah studi cross-sectional, deskriptif, dan korelasional dilakukan di antara orang dewasa berusia diatas 19 tahun (> 20 tahun) menggunakan jaringan media sosial (N = 203). Kemudian pendekatan kedua adalah Ordered Logistic Regression Models pada dua butir kuesioner untuk variabel dependen, yaitu memprediksi kesediaan menggunakan telemedis di masa depan dan memprediksi perubahan pikiran tentang telemedis. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner online yang secara eksplisit dirancang untuk mengukur sikap terhadap telemedis. Enam puluh empat persen responden setuju dan sangat setuju bahwa mereka perlu menggunakan telemedis selama masa kebijakan pembatasan sosial dan Adaptasi Kebiasaan Baru (AKB) pendemi COVID-19. Namun, meskipun terdapat ketersediaan telemedis selama pembatasan pada masa pandemi COVID-19, tetapi 46,92% responden cenderung tetap lebih suka pergi ke klinik atau rumah sakit. Sebanyak 24,64% responden ragu untuk pergi ke klinik atau rumah sakit, dan 28,44% responden enggan untuk pergi ke klinik atau rumah sakit. Hal ini menjadikan telemedis di Indonesia belum dianggap kebutuhan, namun masih dianggap jalan keluar pertama yang bisa dilakukan di masa pembatasan sosial berkala.

1514 Background: Based on our previous research with patient satisfaction for electronic consenting (95% of 940 respondents would recommend it another patient), we hypothesized that telemedicine (telemed) would be received as well as or better than in-person clinical research (CR) consent encounters for complex early-phase clinical trial (Phase I-II) and clinical genetic consent discussions by patients. Oncologist experiences to date have shown that telemed works well for uncomplicated clinical scenarios, but its performance alongside increased care complexity is less clear from the patient perspective. Methods: We conducted a one-time survey of adult patients having a telemed consent visit between 8/31/21 and 2/13/22 and an in-person clinic visit. Nine CR specific questions covered visit preference and empowerment across 6 high value consent agency domains. Results: 513 patients completed the survey and consented across 96 Clinical trials (CT), including genetic, therapeutic, diagnostic, and quality of life. Consent discussions were performed by 75 clinicians and 41 non-clinicians, with the majority (64%) for clinical genetic and Phase I-II CTs. Most patients (52%) preferred telemed over in-person clinic visits (19%) when all visit related factors (time, cost, convenience, quality of care, healthcare team interaction) were considered ( P<.05) (Table). Comparing their last in-person visit with telemed, patients reported feeling either less stressed/overwhelmed (16%) for their consent discussion or about the same (39%) using telemed, and 6% were more stressed ( P<.05). Patients expressed equal comfort taking agency-supported action across 6 domains regardless of consent setting. Conclusions: Electronic consenting via telemed is the preferred method for consent in complex early-phase clinical trials when all visit factors are considered and performs as well across 6 key agency domains when compared with in-person visits. Telemed does not contribute additional stress to consent appointments for most patients and performs well across complex clinical genetic and Phase I-II clinical trial discussions. Our findings suggest telemed and electronic consent should be offered as an option for patients throughout their treatment continuum. Beyond MSK, our data support a broader call for organizations to offer telemed platforms for CT discussions to increase overall patient satisfaction and potentially increase participation. Penelitian ini merupakan implementasi protokol LoraWan untuk mengirimkan data sensor berupa rekaman detak jantung secara point to point. Memanfaatkan keunggulan jaringan LoraWAN, data yang dikirim memiliki jangkauan yang jauh dan berdaya rendah sehingga bisa digunakan untuk sistem telemedis pada daerah yang secara geografis sulit dijangkau untuk akses fasilitas kesehatan. Data rekaman detak jantung yang didapat dari setiap sensor yang terkoneksi dan terintegrasi dengan sistem telemedis akan melakukan pengiriman secara periodik. Selanjutnya data yang diterima diteruskan kepada server melalui LoraWAN Gateway. Sistem telemedis ini terdiri dari sensor EKG, arduino dengan jaringan lora, satu LoraWAN Gateway dan server yang terintegrasi dengan pusat data berbasis web dan aplikasi android. Hasil Pengujian menunjukkan konektivitas antara tiga titik sensor dari beberapa lokasi mampu mengirimkan data sensor dengan baik dengan jarak terbatas kurang dari satu kilometer.

Background: Telemedicine carries the potential of improving accessibility to health services, especially for disabled people. Objective: To assess the health-related outcomes of short-term implementation of telemedicine (telemed) for MS patients. Methods: A prospective study of 40 MS patients divided into a control group and a telemed group was conducted, in two stages: A. Six months’ follow-up for measurement of baseline health-related variables; B. Implementation stage, adding home telecare to the telemed group. A Health Value Compass was applied to assess the outcomes of home telecare implementation. Clinical status, cost data, patients’ self-assessment of Health Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) and satisfaction with telecare were studied. Results: Patients in the telemed group demonstrated improved clinical outcome measured by symptoms severity. There was a decrease of at least 35% in the medical costs for 67% of the telemed group patients. Satisfaction with telecare was high and most patients would recommend this service to others. Conclusions: The present pilot study, applying Health Value Compass-based analysis, suggests that telecare is a powerful tool for monitoring MS patients at home, carries the potential to improve health care while reducing costs, and should be considered for implementation as part of the management of chronic neurological diseases.

Estimated national expenditure for cancer care in 2017 were $147.3 billion and expected to increase every year. Cancer treatment is complex and requires management decisions, counselling, psychological support to be made by multidisciplinary teams. For rural and remote patients, these teams may be composed of local clinicians, and experts from distant urban centers using telemedicine (TeleMed). Methods: We used 2 databases to study Teleoncology (TelOnc) since 2002. Results: Scope of TelOnc includes cancer Telegenetics, Telepathology, remote supervision, symptom management, survivorship care, palliative care, and increase access to cancer clinical trials. Mobile applications support symptom management, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence. TeleMed can support the oncologist with interactive tele-education. Future TelOnc models would include web-based tools, mobile technologies and remote chemotherapy supervision. TeleMed had a high patient satisfaction rate. In a survey 82.21% participants were satisfied with their TeleMed experience, only 2.14% was not satisfied. Challenges: Despite an area of growing need, few studies have prospectively evaluated its efficacy in cancer. Even fewer data is available in young adults (group with liking for technology) with cancer. Lack of uniform model for reimbursement and hurdles of interstate practice license for providers are unique challenges. Conclusions: TeleMed / TelOnc can improve access to medical care, reduce healthcare costs, (Table) and reduce geographic health disparities. [Table: see text]

At that time, Jakarta was still in the red zone due to the spike in the spread of Covid-19 cases. The state, in this case the Government, must be present to protect its people, both those infected with COVID-19 and so that they are not infected with Covid-19. This protection is in the form of the issuance of a regulation in the form of a Covid-19 Handling Task Force Circular Number 13 of 2021 concerning the Elimination of Homecoming for Eid Al-Fitri in 1442 Hijri and efforts to control the spread of Covid-19 during the holy month of Ramadan 1442 Hijri to change the ignorance of the people towards the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach by prioritizing secondary data, to find out the background of the issuance of the telemudik policy. The conclusion drawn from this literature research is that the background behind the birth of the telemudik policy is the ignorance of the community towards the covid pandemic itself. The right solution for carrying out homecoming during the Covid-19 pandemic is telemudik not to reduce the essence of friendship and sharing and prepare the community for the New Normal. in the midst of the Corona pandemic. The paper presents a multimedia Image Reference Data Base (IRDB) used in Teleradiology. The application was developed at the University of Florence in the framework of the European Community TELEMED Project. TELEMED overall goals and IRDB requirements are outlined and the resulting architecture is described. IRDB is a multisite database containing radiological images, selected because their scientific interest, and their related information. The architecture consists of a set of IRDB Installations which are accessed from Viewing Stations (VS) located at different medical sites. The interaction between VS and IRDB Installations follows the client-server paradigm and uses an OSI level-7 protocol, named Telemed Communication Language. After reviewing Florence prototype implementation and experimentation, IRDB migration to World Wide Web (WWW) is discussed. A possible scenery to implement IRDB on the basis of WWW model is depicted in order to exploit WWW servers and browsers capabilities. Finally, the advantages of this conversion are outlined.

In a retrospective study on a set of 125 cases we compared the following three telepathology solutions for primary frozen section diagnosis: ATM‐TP (connection via ATM), TPS 1.0 (connection via LAN) and TELEMIC (connection via Internet), which represent different concepts of telepathological procedures.A set of 125 routine frozen sections (breast) was selected from the Charité cases of the year 1999. Four experienced pathologists diagnosed retrospectively all of these cases.Using the ATM‐TP and TPS systems and 53 of them with the TELEMIC system. Using the ATM‐TP we recorded no false positive (0%), 4 false negative (3.2%) and 4 deferred (3.2%) cases. Using the TPS we recorded no false positive (0%), 4 false negative (3.2%) and 4 deferred (3.2%) cases. Using the TELEMIC we recorded in 53 cases no false positive (0%), no false negative (0%) and 16 deferred (30.2%) cases.The average time of 2.2 minutes per case using ATM‐TP is also short enough for routine frozen section diagnostic. This is also true for the TPS system with 7.2 minutes per case.

Aim: To assess the profile of patients availing the marital and psychosexual clinic (MPC) services through the telemode at a tertiary care center after the imposition of lockdown and compare the same with the profile of the patients attending the outpatient services, in-person MPC services during the prelockdown period. Materials and Methods: It was a retrospective study in which comparisons were made between patients availing the MPC services from March 24, 2020 to March 23, 2021 with the profile of patients during the period of March 24, 2019 to March 23, 2020 (ie, COVID period—lockdown). Results: A total of 112 patients availed the MPC services during the COVID study period compared to 307 patients in the pre-COVID period. However, when the proportion of MPC cases among the total walk-ins was compared, during the COVID period the proportion of MPC cases increased by almost 1.75 times. During the COVID time period, there was an increase in the patients who were significantly younger ( P = .002), females ( P = .003), more from urban locality ( P = .035), and being referred by self or caregiver ( P = .001). In terms of specific diagnosis, as compared to the pre-COVID timeframe, significantly higher numbers of patients were diagnosed with premature ejaculation (PME) and PME + erectile dysfunction while the services were being provided through the telemode. Conclusion: The present study suggests an increase in the proportion of patients seeking help for marital and sexual issues while the services are being provided by telemode.

Penelitian ini merupakan Systematic Literature Review dengan Meta-analisis. Dilakukan dengan mengambil artikel dari jurnal internasional melalui database electronic Pubmed dan Google Scholar dalam rentang waktu 2018-2023 kemudian dianalisis dengan software Openmee. Hasil analisis dilakukan pada 7 artikel jurnal terpilih menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan telemedisin memiliki hubungan dengan kepuasan pasien selama pandemic covid19 (p=<0,001). Dapat disimpulkan terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara penggunaan telemedisin memiliki hubungan dengan kepuasan pasien selama pandemic covid19. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan pentingnya pengembangan layanan telemedisin sebagai langkah pemberian pelayanan kesehatan jarak jauh dengan menjamin kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas sumber daya manusia.

The international telemedicine conference Chinese TeleMed 96 was held in November 1996. This three-way teleconference included delegates in London where the international telemedicine conference TeleMed 96 was taking place and medical staff from one Beijing hospital and one Hong Kong medical faculty. In total, over 1000 health-care personnel across eight time zones participated. The event demonstrated that the quality of teleconferencing technology was suitable for medical teaching, for providing medical consultations to remote locations and for stimulating medical exchanges. In general, planning a telemedicine conference requires a longer lead time, a wider representation of expertise in the organizing committee and more financial resources than conventional conferences. It is recommended that the aim and format of a telemedicine conference be determined at least one year before the target date. Criteria for improving the preparation of such conferences have been identified and a set of guidelines for future conference organizers has been drawn up.

This study aims to evaluate the impact of telemedicine on healthcare access in rural areas, focusing on how residents perceive and utilize telemedicine, the effect on healthcare outcomes, and the barriers to its implementation. Using qualitative research methods, secondary data were collected from academic journal articles, government reports, and healthcare surveys. Findings reveal that rural residents generally perceive telemedicine positively, appreciating its convenience and accessibility, although technological literacy and trust in technology remain concerns. The impact on healthcare outcomes is significant, with improvements noted in chronic disease management, patient satisfaction, and cost savings. However, several barriers impede the widespread adoption of telemedicine, including technological infrastructure limitations, regulatory complexities, reimbursement issues, and the need for provider and patient education. The study concludes that while telemedicine has the potential to transform rural healthcare, addressing these barriers is crucial for optimizing its effectiveness and sustainability.

Imersas nas incertezas, organizações, como a TELEMIG, usaram estratégias emergentes ou deliberadas. Outras, incapazes de lidar com os paradoxos, mudanças constantes e demandas aparentemente conflitantes, aprisionaram-se em padrões estratégicos antagônicos e mutualmente excludentes que impingiram dilemas como o de centralizar ou descentralizar, função ou processo, controle ou anarquia, preço ou qualidade, ordem ou caos. Background Increased use of telemedicine in the healthcare system is a political goal in Denmark. Although the number of hospital patients using interventions such as the video consultation has increased in recent years only a small proportion of the outpatient and inpatient visits involve telemedicine. The TELEMED database ( https://telemedicine.cimt.dk/ ) has been launched at the Center for Innovative Medical Technology in Denmark to ensure that hospital managers and healthcare professionals have access to information about telemedicine services and their effectiveness. This article describes the development and the content of the TELEMED database. Methods A structured literature search was made in the PubMed Database for randomised controlled trials or observational studies with a control group that investigated the effect of telemedicine interventions for hospital patients. Data were extracted from each article on the clinical effectiveness, patient perceptions, economic effects and implementation challenges. As the database should only provide inspiration to healthcare professionals regarding possibilities for use of telemedicine, the risk of bias in the studies was not assessed. Results The literature search resulted in 2825 hits. Based on full text assessment, 331 articles were included for data extraction and assessment. These articles present telemedicine services used in 22 different medical specialities. Forty-eight percent of the studies found a positive, statistically significant clinical effect, while 47% showed no statistically significant difference. In 48% of the studies, patients’ experiences were examined and of these 68% found positive patient experiences. Fifty-four percent of the articles included information on the economic effects and, of these, 51% found reduction in healthcare utilization. In the majority of studies between two and four types of implementation challenges were found. Conclusions and recommendations: The TELEMED database provides an easily accessible overview of existing evidence-based telemedicine services for use by hospital managers and health professionals, who whish to to implement telemedicine. The database is freely available and expected to be continuously improved and broadened over time.

Maximum utilization of communication information technology in health services for maternal and children or recognized as telemedicine, is a friction in the model of providing midwifery care due to demands of the Covid-19 pandemic situation. There was obstacles in its use. The purpose of the study was to determine whether the factors of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influences, and facilitating conditions influenced behavioral intention to adopt telemedical system in the field of maternal and child health services by midwives through the Unifed Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). This a qualitative study used a survey method on 117 midwives in Probolinggo districts with simple random sampling as a sampling technique. Midwives were asked to fill out a questionnaire based on the four main constructs in UTAUT. Data were analyzed using multiples regression. The results of statistical test showed that only the effort expectancy variable had a positive relationship on the behavioral intention to adoption telemedicine system by midwife towards the provision of telemedicine health services (p value 0.001 < 0.05).

Diabetes mellitus (DM) adalah kondisi di mana kadar glukosa dalam darah melebihi batas normal. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memantau kadar glukosa dan meminimalkan risiko diabetes. Salah satu solusi yang digunakan adalah implementasi Internet of Things (IoT). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengaplikasikan IoT dalam bidang medis untuk memantau kadar gula darah, di mana data dipantau melalui aplikasi Telegram dan ditampilkan pada layar LCD 16×2. Perangkat keras yang digunakan meliputi sensor max30100, Arduino Nano, ESP8266, LCD 16×2, dan sumber daya listrik 5V. Penelitian ini telah diuji pada 15 responden yang berbeda dan melibatkan dua tahap pengukuran, menggunakan alat penelitian yang dikembangkan dan perangkat medis glukosa standar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe berhasil mendeteksi kadar gula darah dan memantau hasil deteksi yang ditampilkan melalui aplikasi Telegram. Percobaan ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat yang dibuat oleh para peneliti menggunakan IoT dan sensor max30100 mencapai akurasi sebesar 94,73% dengan tingkat kesalahan 5,27% dibandingkan dengan perangkat medis standar sehingga penggunaaan IOT pada penelitian ini dapat mempermudah pekerjaan dan lebih hemat biaya dari alat standar medis.

Ten new species of the genus Telema, occurring in caves of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau of southwestern China, are described and illustrated. Nine of these, T. bifida sp. nov., T. strentarsi sp. nov., T. spirae sp. nov., T. tortutheca sp. nov., T. spinafemora sp. nov., T. pedati sp. nov., T. conglobare sp. nov., T. guihua sp. nov. and T. vesiculata sp. nov., have the typical troglobiotic characters, i.e., no eyes, long legs and setae, pale somatic coloration, and without pigment pattern. Another species, T. auricoma sp. nov., found in several caves, may be a troglomorphic species, has relatively short legs, six eyes, and brightly pigmented body. Nine known Telema species occurring in caves of this region are also briefly reported. The key to species was provided. Diversity of cave-dwelling telemid spiders in this region was discussed.

Background The use of telemedicine services has increased worldwide during recent years as a result of national strategies for the digitalization of health care and the COVID-19 pandemic. However, health care professionals often express uncertainty regarding the evidence and effectiveness of telemedicine interventions. Therefore, the Centre for Innovative Medical Technology at Odense University Hospital introduced the TELEMED database, an evidence-based telemedicine database. Objective This study aimed to ensure that hospital managers, health care professionals, and other stakeholders gain access to information about scientific studies of telemedicine interventions and their effectiveness. Methods The database constitutes a structured literature search in PubMed for randomized controlled trials or controlled trials on the effect of telemedicine for somatic diseases treated at hospitals. The search was conducted by staff members in the Health Technology Assessment unit at the Centre for Innovative Medical Technology. First, identified studies were sorted by screening titles and abstracts and, subsequently, by reading full-text versions. The data extracted from the studies included the setting, intervention, patient group, type of telemedicine, clinical effect, patient perception, and implementation challenges. Finally, the value of each study was assessed with respect to effectiveness. Results A total of 518 articles were included for data extraction and assessment. The database provides results from 22 different specialties and can be searched using the following criteria: medical specialty, country, technology, clinical effect, patient experience, and economic effect. The database serves as a platform for the dialogue with clinical departments who wish to implement telemedicine services and has a large potential for supporting the digital transformation during COVID-19 as evidence-based information on patient groups, relevant technologies, and their effect is easily accessible. Conclusions The TELEMED database provides an easily accessible overview of existing evidence-based telemedicine services.
