Abstract:
ABSTRACT Amobilization of bromelaine enzyme extracted from ananas fruit (Ananas comusus) acetone has been done. Modified perlite in the amino silica phosphat (ASP) is used as matrix amobilization. The protein content has determined by Lowry method, while enzyme activity were determined by Anson method caseine as substrate. It native enzyme specific activity was 0.1281 unit/mg with konsentration 20000 ppm, pH 7.0, incubation time 35 minutes, and temperature 40°C. Amobil bromelaine specific activity was 0.7438 units/mg with substrate on 20000 ppm pH 7.0, incubation time 30 minutes and temperature 37°C. Abstract:
The use of fire in agriculture land preparation may result in the change of various soil properties. Therefore, a study was conducted in the village of Oeteta, Kupang to determine soil total organic-C and total nitrogen of burned and unburned Vertisols. Randomized complete block design with two factors was applied. The first factor was burning treatment with two levels: burned and unburned. The second factor was soil depth with three levels: 0-10cm, 11-20cm and 21-30cm; all together made up 54 experimental units. Results showed that in all depths there was no significant difference in total soil organic-C between burned and unburned soils. However total soil organic-C contents in both burning treatments were considered high. Similarly, the was also no significant difference in total soil nitrogen between burned and unburned plots. Total soil N was considered in high and medium levels for burned and unburned soil respectively. In summary, burning does not affect soil total organic-C contents but reduces soil total N contents.

Abstract:
O objetivo do presente trabalho foi a comparação da evolução imediata e tardia nos traumas renais produzidos em cães, usando-se para a sua reparação quatro métodos: apenas trauma renal (Grupo A), colocação de epíploon (Grupo B), uso de tela de náilon (Grupo C), uso de tela de vicril (Grupo D). Foram estudados 40 cães, divididos em 4 grupos de 10 cada, no biotério da Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Universidade São Francisco. Após a realização desta técnica, os cães do Grupo A e B morreram nas primeiras 42 horas, alguns do Grupo C morreram nos primeiros dias por complicações infecciosas; os demais do Grupo C como também os do Grupo D, foram sacrificados no 85o dia, retirando-se o rim traumatizado e o rim normal, sendo posteriormente estudados macro e microscopicamente. Este estudo foi efetuado no Departamento de Patologia da Universidade São Francisco. Os resultados encontrados foram: os cães do Grupo A e B (sem utilização da tela) tiveram óbito nos pós-operatório imediato por choque hemorrágico, mostrando que o método de tratamento foi ineficiente e nos cães do Grupo C e D, em que se utilizou tela, os resultados foram melhores. Na fase inicial, os resultados dos cães com o uso de tela de vicril (Grupo D) são melhores quando comparados aos cães em que se usou tela de náilon (Grupo C); entretanto, na fase tardia esses resultados são semelhantes. O estudo microscópico nos rins em que se usou tela de náilon (Grupo C) mostrou maior fibrose, granulomas de corpo estranho na cápsula, quando comparados aos cães em que se usou vicril (Grupo D). No local do parênquima renal não houve diferenças significantes. Pode-se concluir então que o uso de vicril propicia melhor hemostasia, menos aderências, fibrose e não deixa grandes seqüelas no rim

Abstract:
Abstract Purpose: Dual inhibition of glucose and glutamine metabolism results in synergistic anticancer effects in solid tumor models. Telaglenastat, an investigational, small-molecule, glutaminase inhibitor, exhibits modest single-agent activity in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) patients. This phase Ib trial evaluated telaglenastat plus cabozantinib or everolimus, agents known to impair glucose metabolism in patients with metastatic RCC (mRCC). Patients and Methods: mRCC patients received escalating doses of telaglenastat [400–800 mg per os (p.o.) twice daily] in a 3 + 3 design, plus either everolimus (10 mg daily p.o.; TelaE) or cabozantinib (60 mg daily p.o.; TelaC). Tumor response (RECISTv1.1) was assessed every 8 weeks. Endpoints included safety (primary) and antitumor activity. Results: Twenty-seven patients received TelaE, 13 received TelaC, with median 2 and 3 prior therapies, respectively. Treatment-related adverse events were mostly grades 1 to 2, most common including decreased appetite, anemia, elevated transaminases, and diarrhea with TelaE, and diarrhea, decreased appetite, elevated transaminases, and fatigue with TelaC. One dose-limiting toxicity occurred per cohort: grade 3 pruritic rash with TelaE and thrombocytopenia with TelaC. No maximum tolerated dose (MTD) was reached for either combination, leading to a recommended phase II dose of 800-mg telaglenastat twice daily with standard doses of E or C. TelaE disease control rate (DCR; response rate + stable disease) was 95.2% [20/21, including 1 partial response (PR)] among 21 patients with clear cell histology and 66.7% (2/3) for papillary. TelaC DCR was 100% (12/12) for both histologies [5/10 PRs as best response (3 confirmed) in clear cell]. Conclusions: TelaE and TelaC showed encouraging clinical activity and tolerability in heavily pretreated mRCC patients.

Penelitian tentang uji kuantitati vitamin C pada sayuran yang telah mengalami pemanasan telah dilakukan, yang bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar vitamin C pada sayuran segar akibat proses pemanasan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang maksimum 265 nm. Kadar vitamin C pada sayuran segar seperti Sawi, Kacang Panjang, Bayam, Kangkung dan Brokoli masing-masing sebesar 0,013 mg/g; 0,015 mg/g; 0,023 mg/g; 0,020 mg/g dan 0,020 mg/g. Sedangkan kadar vitamin C dari masing-masing sayuran yang telah direbus berturut – turut sebesar 0,012 mg/g; 0.008; 0 mg/g; 0,004 mg/g; 0,013 mg/g. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada sayuran yang telah mengalami pemanasan (rebus) terjadi penurunan kadar vitamin C. Kadar vitamin C pada sayuran segar lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kadar vitamin C pada sayuran yang telah mengalami pemanasan. Kata Kunci : vitamin C, sayuran, spektrofotometri UV-Vis.

Penelitian tentang elektrolisis model air laut dengan sistem C│NaOH║MgSO4,NaCl│C telah dilakukan.penelitian bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa Mg(OH)2 dapat terbentuk pada elektrolisis system C│NaOH║MgSO4,NaCl│C dan menentukan pengaruh NaOHpada pembentukan Mg(OH)2. Proses elektrolisis dilakukan dengan sistem 2-kompartemen untuk menentukan kondisi konversi elektrolitik ion Mg2+ menjadi Mg(OH)2. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemisahan magnesium berdasarkan pengendapan selektif melalui proses elektrolisis yang dilakukan selama 4 jam. Hasil elektrolisis kemudian dianalisis menggunakan spektroskopi FTIR dan AAS. Spektra IR membuktikan bahwa endapan hasil elektrolisis merupakan Mg(OH)2 yang ditunjukkan pada bilangan gelombang 3695,61 cm–1 dan 3425,58 cm–1 yang menginformasikan ada gugus –OH dan bilangan gelombang 871,82 cm–1 yang mengindikasikan ada ikatan Mg-O. Rendemen Mg(OH)2 hasil elektrolisis tertinggi sebesar 99,41% pada penggunaan NaOH 0,1M. Hasil analisis AAS menunjukkan bahwa kadar Mg dalam endapan Mg(OH)2 sebanyak 55,12%.

This study discusses related to the trade in chipped stone which is a group C mining company located in Loli Oge Village. The author uses a type of normative juridical research using empirical data, which is through observation data collection techniques, interviews and library research. The results showed that the implementation of the sale and purchase of chipped stone carried out by the company began with the process of extracting raw materials to process the stone into small sizes according to the predetermined size. Furthermore, in terms of selling small or medium scale materials, buyers will usually come directly to the company office. Meanwhile, for large-scale material sales (barge), customers who have subscribed will order materials by telephone. From the perspective of Sharia Economic Law, the trade carried out by the Company has fulfilled the pillars of trade in Islam and the contract is made based on the agreement of both parties without any harm. Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas perdagangan batu pecah pada perusahaan galian golongan C yang berada di Desa Loli Oge. Penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian yuridis normatif dengan menggunakan data empiris, yakni melalui teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan Pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan jual beli batu pecah yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan dimulai dengan proses penggalian bahan baku hingga proses batu menjadi berukuran kecil sesuai dengan ukuran yang telah ditentukan. Selanjutnya pada segi penjualan material skala kecil atau menengah, pembeli biasanya akan datang langsung ke kantor perusahaan. Sedangkan untuk penjualan material (tongkang) skala besar, konsumen yang telah berlangganan akan memesan material melalui telepon. Jika melihat dari dari perspektik Hukum Ekonomi Syariah Perdagangan yang dilakukan oleh Perusahaan telah memenuhi rukun perdagangan dalam Islam serta kontrak dibuat berdasarkan kesepakatan kedua pihak tanpa satupun dirugikan.

Sifat mekanik suatu logam tidak hanya tergantung dari komposisi kimia; tetapi juga pada struktur mikro dan proses perlakuan akhir. Pengerasan (hardening) adalah salah satu bentuk perlakuan panas dimana pengerasan dilakukan dengan memanaskan baja di daerah austenit, kemudian didinginkan cepat. Untuk itu telah disiapkan 15 buah. material uji baja AISI CI045 dengan pengaruh perbedaan temperature austeniusasi 800,850, 900, 950, 1000° C dan media pendingin air, oli SAE 20/40 dan emulsi Satu bual: material yang tidak dikeraskan digunakan sebagai pembanding peningkaian kekerasan. Komposisi karbon pada baja AISI CI045 adalah 0,43 - 0,50%. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa kecenderungan peningkatan kekerasan terjadi tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh naiknya temperature pemanasan tetapi juga laju pendinginan, dimana kekerasan optimum diperoleh pada temperature 850°C, holding time 15 menit dan pendinginan air, yaitu HV = 572,2. Kekerasan maksimum dengan media pendingin emulsi diperoleh nilai kekerasan HV = 427,8 juga pada temperature 950° C.

Abstract:
Da una vista aerea della città di Bogotá, sono immediatamente percepibili i confini del Centro Urbano Antonio Nariño (CUAN): dalla densa maglia regolare, eredità della colonizzazione spagnola, emerge una vasta superficie verde, all’interno della quale trovano spazio grandi blocchi residenziali, immediatamente riconducibili alle architetture moderne di edilizia sociale di matrice europea. In questo punto la città, sviluppata prevalentemente in modo orizzontale, si interrompe, dando luogo ad un’imprevista crescita verticale. Dopo un’attenta analisi dei luoghi e del tipo architettonico, vengono formulate due strategie di recupero del Blocco C, ex casa dello studente, all’interno del CUAN e già in possesso dell’Universidad Nacional de Colombia. - La prima prevede il recupero del telaio esistente, tramite la realizzazione di setti in calcestruzzo cementizio armato, che assolvano alla funzione di controventi per la struttura, reagendo alle azioni orizzontali causate dal sisma. - La seconda ipotesi prevede la realizzazione di una nuova struttura, nella quale verrà indagata maggiormente e approfondita la tecnica costruttiva del setto in cemento armato. In entrambi i casi il punto di partenza è dato da una struttura estremamente regolare in pianta, frutto della ripetizione dei setti in cemento armato, che genera poi variazioni in alzato, consentendo di ottenere una buona varietà di spazi interni. L’edificio prima occupato e attualmente in stato d’abbandono, rappresenta un’ottima occasione per riflettere sulle cause del declino della tipologia edilizia, per meglio capire quali siano le criticità che ne hanno portato al fallimento e mettere in luce le potenzialità che possono guidare il nuovo progetto di rivalorizzazione dell’area.

Abstract:
Nella presente tesi si propongono metodi di modellazione numerica volti allo studio di telai con fondazioni superficiali poggianti su un semispazio elastico, analizzando in particolare grigliati di travi di fondazione e telai diversamente caricati, anche tenendo conto delle non linearità geometriche e di materiale delle travi. Inizialmente si indaga il problema relativo all’indentatore rigido utilizzando il metodo degli elementi al contorno (Boundary Element Method - BEM) seguendo un approccio alla Galerkin. Successivamente si studia il comportamento delle travi deformabili soggette a diverse condizioni di carico utilizzando un approccio Finite Element-Boundary Integral Equation (FE-BIE). In particolare, per le travi di fondazione si adotta il modello di trave basato sulla teoria della flessione di Eulero-Bernoulli e sulla teoria della torsione di Vlasov, implementando il modello numerico proposto da Barsoum-Gallagher. Nel secondo capitolo sono presentate analisi statiche di travi su suolo relative a sezioni compatte ed a sezioni in parete sottile e si considera sia il caso di torsione alla De Saint Venant che per quello di torsione non uniforme. Analizzato il problema delle travi sotto le diverse configurazioni di carico si è passati a studiare i grigliati di fondazione descritti da elementi di trave connessi con punch rigidi in corrispondenza delle intersezioni. I risultati delle diverse analisi sono stati confrontati con omologhi modelli FEM tradizionali nei quali il suolo viene discretizzato con elementi brick. Il terzo capitolo riporta le analisi di stabilità di travi di fondazione poggianti su suolo. In particolare, per il carico di punta, sono state condotte analisi di instabilità torsionale e flessionale con diversi vincoli agli estremi, verificando, al variare della rigidezza del suolo, quando l’instabilità torsionale anticipa quella flessionale. Successivamente sono state condotte analisi di instabilità flesso-torsionale per carichi trasversali, mettendo in risalto l’importanza della posizione del carico applicato e delle reazioni del suolo che possono avere un effetto più o meno stabilizzante. I risultati ottenuti sono stati confrontati con modelli FEM tradizionali e con soluzioni analitiche ricavate dalla teoria del suolo di Winkler. Nel quarto capitolo della tesi è presentata l’analisi statica di telai tridimensionali su semispazio elastico. Le analisi condotte evidenziano l'efficacia del modello nel rappresentare il comportamento della struttura. Si riportano diversi confronti con modelli su suolo alla Winkler e modelli FEM tradizionali. All’interno dell’ultimo capitolo sono riportate analisi non lineari di telai poggianti su semispazio. Le non linearità del materiale vengono riprodotte mediante un approccio a plasticità concentrata definendo, alle estremità degli elementi trave, connessioni semirigide con legame momento-rotazione ricavato dall’integrazione delle curvature. Le analisi incrementali mostrano un’elevata capacità del modello nel cogliere il meccanismo di collasso e la progressiva perdita di rigidezza della struttura sotto carichi crescenti. In ultimo sono state condotte analisi di pushover su strutture con pilastri isostatici su plinti tendendo conto del contatto monolatero in sola compressione.
In the present thesis, numerical modeling methods are proposed for the study of frames with superficial foundations resting on an elastic half-space, analyzing in particular foundation beam grids and differently loaded frames, also taking into account geometric and material non-linearities of the beams. Initially, the rigid punch problem is investigated using the Boundary Element Method (BEM) following a Galerkin approach. Subsequently, the behavior of deformable beams subjected to different loading conditions is studied using a Finite Element-Boundary Integral Equation (FE-BIE) approach. In particular, the beam model based on Euler-Bernoulli bending theory and Vlasov torsion theory is adopted for the foundation beams, implementing the numerical model proposed by Barsoum-Gallagher. In the second chapter, static analyses of beams on soil related to compact and thin-wall sections are presented and both the De Saint Venant and non-uniform torsion cases are considered. After analyzing the problem of beams under different loading configurations, the foundation grids are studied, which are described by beam elements connected with rigid punch at intersections. The results of the different analyses were compared with homologous traditional FEM models in which the soil is discretized with brick elements. The third chapter reports the stability analyses of foundation beams resting on soil. In particular, torsional and flexural buckling analyses have been carried out with different constraints at the extremes, verifying, when the soil stiffness varies, when the torsional buckling anticipates the flexural one. Subsequently, lateral-torsional buckling analyses were conducted, highlighting the importance of the position of the applied load and soil reactions that may have a more or less stabilizing effect. The results obtained were compared with traditional FEM models and with analytical solutions derived from Winkler's soil theory. In the fourth chapter of the thesis, the static analysis of three-dimensional frames on elastic half-space is presented. The analyses conducted highlight the effectiveness of the model in representing the behavior of the structure. Several comparisons with Winkler soil models and traditional FEM models are reported. In the last chapter, nonlinear analyses of frames resting on half-space are reported. The nonlinearities of the material are reproduced through a concentrated plasticity approach by defining, at the ends of the beam elements, semi-rigid connections with moment-rotation bond obtained from the integration of the curvatures. The incremental analyses show a high capacity of the model in capturing the collapse mechanism and the progressive loss of stiffness of the structure under increasing loads. Finally, pushover analyses have been conducted on structures with isostatic columns on rigid punch taking into account the monolateral contact in compression only.

Il seguente elaborato tratta dell'applicazione del ”Pannello dissipativo”, un innovativo sistema dissipativo in legno, applicato a telai esistenti in cemento armato. L'idea nasce per creare un'alternativa al capacity design noto anche come “gerarchia delle resistenze” che la Normativa attuale ha come riferimento nell'ambito della progettazione sismica. Tale principio prevede lo sfruttamento della duttilità degli elementi favorendo meccanismi che utilizzino tale proprietà al meglio, distribuendo la formazione di cerniere plastiche sull'intera struttura ed evitando invece meccanismi di rottura fragili. Abbandonando questo criterio progettuale che prevede un elevato costo di ripristino della struttura, negli ultimi anni si è sviluppata una nuova metodologia di progettazione basata sul concetto del basso danneggiamento, in cui la dissipazione dell'energia sismica in ingresso viene affidata ad elementi predisposti e di facile sostituzione, permettendo al resto della struttura di rimanere in campo elastico. Partendo da prove sperimentali precedenti a questo studio su dei telai lignei, è stata eseguita la calibrazione, tramite software OpenSees, del modello numerico del pannello dissipativo, per poterlo successivamente applicare a strutture in cemento armato. Sono stati quindi realizzati due modelli di complessità crescente di un telaio in c.a. e sono state applicate una “prova di rilascio” e una “time history” con accelerogrammi. Applicato il pannello dissipativo in varie configurazioni, sono state analizzate le oscillazioni smorzate conseguenti alla prova di rilascio e le accelerazioni di piano dovute agli accelerogrammi. Dalle oscillazioni libere smorzate della struttura è emerso un incremento del coefficiente di smorzamento con una leggera variazione dei periodi propri di vibrazione. Dalle prove con accelerogrammi si sono invece registrate una riduzione delle accelerazioni e degli spostamenti di piano con conseguente diminuzione delle sollecitazioni.

Having looked at the different units within the insula individually, we now need to review and summarize the structural history of the insula as a whole. As stated in Part One, Section 4 (pp. 19-20), the sequence has been divided into five main phases. The first corresponds to structures in opera a telaio and related techniques; the second to the First Style of wall-painting, i.e. mid-second to early first century BC (structures generally in opus incertum with a preponderance of lava and Sarno stone); the third to the Second Style of wall-painting, i.e. broadly the period from c.80 BC to the last years of the century; the fourth to the Third Style of wall-painting, i.e. broadly the period from the late first century BC to the mid-first century AD; and the fifth to the Fourth Style of wall-painting, i.e. the period from C.AD 50 to AD 79. In contrast to the preliminary report, this survey does not attempt to subdivide the phases, except in the more eventful Phase 5, since this approach now seems unduly rigid and implies a degree of precision beyond what the evidence warrants. Some of the main points in which the present analysis differs from the earlier one will be referred to in footnotes. Inevitably many aspects of the interpretation remain uncertain, particularly with regard to the early phases. Selective excavation might fill some of the gaps, but at the moment the early phase plans necessarily contain large areas of empty space or fragments of unrelated walling. Only where there is some ground for predicting missing elements have parts of plans been restored, but even then it has sometimes been necessary to choose between alternative restorations. The diagnostic features are the use of opera a telaio and inferences from the property boundaries and wall alignments. The Irregular shapes of houses 3,7, and 16 imply that they have been inserted in the gaps between pre-existing properties; we may, therefore, suggest that houses 1, 4, and 8 belong to the earliest development in the insula.

Eksploitasi bahan bakar fosil yang dilakukan secara terus-menerus menyebabkan jumlahnya semakin menipis. Pemerintah memberikan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut melalui penggunaan bahan bakar alternatif seperti biodiesel. Penggunaan katalis dalam proses produksi biodiesel sangat disarankan. Katalis heterogen berbasis kalsium hasil dekomposisi CaCO3 pada cangkang hewan telah diteliti dapat digunakan sebagai katalis dalam reaksi transesterifikasi. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan dekomposisi CaCO3 menjadi CaO dari cangkang telur bebek yang dilakukan dengan kalsinasi pada temperatur 900°C selama 4 jam. CaO yang dihasilkan diaplikasikan dalam reaksi transesterifikasi dengan variasi konsentrasi katalis 1, 2, 3 dan 4%, rasio mol minyak:metanol 1:9, temperatur reaksi 63°C, dan waktu reaksi 3 jam. Berdasarkan difraktogram, kalsinasi cangkang telur bebek pada 900°C telah mengkonversi CaCO3 menjadi CaO. Puncak-puncak utama CaO muncul pada °2θ 32,24; 37,41; 53,93; 64,24; 67,47 dan 91,60 sesuai dengan data standar CaO ICDD No. 01-070-4068. Adapun yield metil ester yang dihasilkan pada setiap konsentrasi katalis yaitu 82,45%, 85,93%, 93,01% dan 78,48%. Metil ester dengan yield tertinggi (katalis 3%) dianalisis menggunakan GC-MS, berdasarkan analisa GC, terdapat 6 puncak dan berdasarkan spektrum massa teridentifikasi senyawa metil kaprat, metil laurat, metil miristat, metil palmitat, metil oleat dan metil stearat. Metil ester memiliki densitas 860,48 kg/m3 ; viskositas 5,8 mm2 /s; angka setana 59; dan residu karbon 0,34%.

Sejumlah sampah organik yang dihasilkan sebagian besar masih belum dikelola dengan baik sehingga dapat berdampak buruk terhadap lingkungan. Teknologi paling mudah yang dapat digunakan untuk memanfaatkan sampah organik adalah pengomposan. Salah satu agen serangga yang saat ini popular dan dapat digunakan sebagai dekomposer limbah organik adalah larva Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia Illucent). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis mutu hasil biokonversi limbah organik sayur dan ampas tahu dengan menggunakan larva BSF. Parameter yang diuji yaitu derajat keasaman (pH), kadar air (KA), nitrogen (N), fosfor (P), rasio C/N, dan kalium (K). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa limbah organik ampas tahu dan limbah sayur yang telah dibiokonversi dengan menggunakan larva BSF selama 15 hari menghasilkan nilai N, P, K, C/N, pH, dan KA yang sesuai dengan persyaratan SNI 19-7030-2004 tentang Spesifikasi kompos dari sampah organik domestik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa larva BSF mampu mendekomposisi limbah organik dengan cepat dan menghasilkan pupuk organik yang bermanfaat bagi tanah, tanaman dan lingkungan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja usaha pemeliharaan sapi Bali secara ekstensif pada musim penghujan dan kemarau oleh peternak lokal di Desa Ajuraja, Kabupaten Wajo, Sulawesi Selatan. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tiga puluh orang peternak di Desa Ajuraja. Pengambilan sampel di Desa Ajuraja menggunakan metode purposive convinience sampling. Data diambil dengan cara survey dan wawancara langsung dengan menggunakan kuisioner yang telah dipersiapkan. Data yang di ambil meliputi karakteristik peternak, biaya dan penerimaan dari usaha pemeliharaan sapi Bali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan per peternak per bulan per unit ternak (UT) pada musim kemarau lebih besar dari musim penghujan yaitu sebesar Rp 115.608,00 dan musim penghujan Rp 3.562,00. Kegiatan pemeliharaan sapi Bali pada musim kemarau dan musim penghujan termasuk menguntungkan karena memiliki R/C lebih dari 1 yaitu berturut-turut 22,01 dan 1,03.

Kesadaran masyarakat akan gaya hidup sehat menyebabkan peningkatan permintaan produk organik, termasuk buah jeruk. Meskipun belum diterapkan pada skala luas, budidaya jeruk yang ramah lingkungan telah dilakukan di tingkat petani, di antaranya di Jawa Timur, Bali, Bengkulu, dan Jawa Barat. Pada lahan sela di antara barisan jeruk, ditanam beberapa tanaman semusim yang bertujuan untuk menekan pertumbuhan gulma, sebagai bahan pupuk organik, serta dapat menjadi sumber pendapatan. Percobaan ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh penanaman tanaman semusim pada budidaya jeruk ramah lingkungan terhadap kualitas internal dan eksternal buah. Analisis buah dilakukan di Laboratorium Ekofisiologi, Balai Penelitian Tanaman Jeruk dan Buah Subtropika, Kota Batu pada bulan Juli 2020. Percobaan disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok, dengan faktor yang diujikan adalah jenis tanaman tumpangsari. Terdapat 4 taraf yang diujikan, yaitu kacang kedelai, kacang hijau, kacang tanah, dan ubi jalar, masing-masing dengan 10 ulangan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa penanaman ubi jalar sebagai tanaman tumpangsari mampu menghasilkan buah jeruk dengan bobot buah, bobot daging buah, dan volume jus yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kacang hijau dan kacang tanah, namun tidak berbeda nyata dengan kacang kedelai. Penanaman tanaman tumpangsari tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap bobot kulit dan biji buah, diameter buah, total padatan terlarut, rasio TPT:TAT, dan kandungan vitamin C. Penggunaan ubi jalar atau kacang kedelai sebagai tanaman tumpangsari pada budidaya jeruk ramah lingkungan dapat diterapkan untuk menghasilkan buah jeruk yang berkualitas.

Abstract:
Tanaman kopi (Coffea sp) merupakan komoditas penting yang permintaan setiap tahunnya meningkat. Perbanyakan tanaman kopi yang mudah dan murah adalah dengan setek dan setek sambung. Setek sambung tanaman kopi merupakan cara perbanyakan vegetatif yaitu sambungan antara dua klon yang mempunyai keunggulan berbeda. Untuk mengetahui metode setek dan setek sambung yang terbaik dengan menggunakan bahan tanam ruas dan sayat/belah. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan metode pembiakan vegetatif ( setek dan setek sambung)terbaik dan membandingkan dari beberapa cara pembiakan pada tanaman kopi robusta (Coffea canephora) . Penelitian di laksanakan di kebun Percobaan Mandiri mulai bulan Juli sampai September 2018 dan selanjutnya di lakukan pengamatan dalam laboratorium. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 7 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan di lanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan 5%. Perlakuan A merupakan perlakuan setek sambung batang bawah ruas klon BP 308 dan batang atas ruas klon BP 534, perlakuan B merupakan setek sambung batang bawah ruas klon BP 308 dan batang atas belah klon BP 534, perlakuan C merupakan setek sambung batang bawah belah klon BP 308 dan batang atas belah klon BP 534, perlakuan D merupakan setek ruas klon BP 308, perlakuan E merupakan setek ruas klon BP 534, perlakuan F merupakan setek belah klon BP 308, dan perlakuan F setek belah klon BP 534. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan setek sambung batang bawah klon BP 308 dan batang atas ruas klon BP 534 (A)merupakan hasil terbaik, setek ruas klon BP 308 (D) lebih baik daripada setek ruas klon BP 534.
