Abstract:
Could ignorance on the part of parents and economic hardship be the reasons they fall prey to job deceit, which might have led to teenager prostitution and baby factories, or could the parents be aware of the practice and just want to use their child as a survival wage? It was against these backdrops that this study examined ‘the Scourge of Job Deceit: Teenagers' Prostitution and Baby Factories in Nigeria’. The research design is explorative in nature. The sample size for the study was 35 residents in cities and towns who identified as having experienced this act. A questionnaire was developed, titled Job Deceit: Teenagers' Prostitution and Baby Factories in Nigeria, which has a reliability coefficient of 0.75. In scoring the instrument, the study adopted the measure of central tendency (the mean score). The highest possible mean average was 4.00, while the least was 1.00; the mid-point mean was 2.50 (since it was a four-point scale). Content analysis was used for the newspaper review. Findings from the study revealed that people complain that most jobs' posters or banners with phone numbers promising huge pay are deceitful. On this note, the study concluded that teenagers are lured into prostitution and babymaking in baby factories on the premise of employment and financial liberation from poverty for their struggling families. A recommendation was made that parents should desist from the act of giving their teenage children to people who promise to help get them jobs in the city without prior notice.

Abstract:
The dominant understanding in the United States of the relationship between pimps and minors involved in commercial sex is that it is one of “child sex trafficking,” in which pimps lure girls into prostitution, then control, exploit, and brutalize them. Such narratives of oppression typically depend on postarrest testimonials by former prostitutes and pimps in punishment and rescue institutions. In contrast, this article presents data collected from active pimps, underage prostitutes, and young adult sex workers to demonstrate the complexity of pimp-prostitute dyads and interrogate conventional stereotypes about teenage prostitution. A holistic understanding of the factors that push minors into sex work and keep them there is needed to designand implement effective policy and services for this population.

Abstract:
The article dwells on analysing the main trends characterizing the sexual life of modern teenagers using the example of Ukrainian high school students. The authors present an overview of scientific approaches to the study of sexual life, in particular, sociological studies of the sexual behaviour of young people in the West and modern Ukraine. The paper draws attention to some of the consequences of the “sexual revolution” regarding the impact on sexual health (HIV/AIDS; sexually transmitted diseases; teenage abortions, sexual violence, etc.). The analysis of features inherent in the modern sexual behaviour of adolescents (frequency of sexual contacts; the number of sexual partners; age and gender characteristics of sexual behaviour of respondents) is based on the results of three representative sociological studies among schoolchildren in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region (1999 and 2013) and four regions of Ukraine (2021). Sociologists of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the Sociological Association of Ukraine carried out these studies. Such characteristics of social behaviour as “age of sexual debut” and the dynamics of changes of this indicator were analyzed based on the data of Ukrainian and Western sociologists. Some negative consequences of early sexual life are described (sexual development disorders, mental disorders, sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted teenage pregnancies, teenage prostitution, etc.). Attention is paid to issues of systematic sexual education and sexual enlightenment of adolescents to preserve reproductive and sexual health. The authors analyze the role of parents, the educational process in school, and sexual education programs in the formation of safe sexual behaviour skills and a responsible attitude of adolescents to their health and the health of loved ones.

Abstract:
The real problem is not teenage pregnancy alone, but the destructive combination of single motherhood, poverty, and drug abuse. The consequences of being a poor, inner-city, single mother with an expensive drug habit may include prostitution, drug dealing, dependency upon welfare and/or extra support from an already overwhelmed family system, and neglected children. Almost inevitably, the children exhibit cognitive deficits and behavioral problems, may turn to drugs at a young age, and may have an early involvement with the criminal justice system. To design effective prevention programs it is essential to understand the myriad complex risk factors that affect the lives of these vulnerable young women. As the first stage in a larger study of motivation and readiness for change and the development of self-protective health practices, interview data were collected from 30 participants. Sixteen were residents and staff who had graduated from a drug treatment program and 14 were undergraduate and graduate students, all of whom had been pregnant as teenagers. The results yielded a surprising commonality of experiences for both groups that included childhood physical and sexual abuse, coercive adolescent sexual relationships, early first sexual contact, early first pregnancies (often as a function of rape or incest), abortions, and chemical dependency, especially during pregnancy.

Abstract:
This study assesses the social and livelihood implication of Covid-19 lockdown in Southern Kaduna State of Nigeria, with a view to providing information for sustainable living of the human population. Data for this study was collected through questionnaire survey, in-depth interview and direct field observation. The result shows that Covid-19 lockdown prevented many prospective couples from having their marriages/marriage ceremonies, forced many couples to have unwanted pregnancies, breaking away of many relationships, caused conflicts due to short supply of family needs, and forced many parents to have more time for the family. The result also indicated that the pandemic increased the level of rape cases, teenage pregnancies and prostitution among women in the study area. As such, it is recommended that proper education be given to people on the effects of any pandemic on women, young and adolescent children through their worship centers and schools, and finally, marriage counseling should involve issues related to the effects of any disease pandemic and how to maintain their livelihood sources.

Abstract:
Globally the print media has made strides in publishing content that is appealing to readers. The Kenyan mainstream newspapers have established colourful and sensational pullouts to attract youthful audience. Among the most popular free pullout entertainment magazines is the ‘Pulse’ which is accessed by the youth in secondary schools and may have a behavioural impact on them. This paper analysed the frequency of content with elements of negative behaviour published in the Pulse that would likely motivate secondary school students to engage in practices such as sexual activities, alcohol consumption and night partying which may lead to teenage pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, school dropouts, prostitution and drug abuse. A sample size of 46 magazines were purposively drawn from a study population of 52 weekly Pulse magazines running from January to December 2018. The revelation that the magazine published a high frequency of content with elements of negative behaviour was of concern due to the likelihood that the youth would engage in risky behaviour if given a chance leading to outcomes detrimental to their health and academic performance. The study will assist education policy makers, the media, and academicians in establishing ethical policies during the development of print media content.

Abstract:
Background: In Ethiopia, the number of homeless girls and women is increasing, and the government has yet to devise a strategy to address the issue of teenage homelessness. They are influenced by numerous dimensions of health, including physical health, mental health, and social isolation. At all stages of homelessness, the stakeholders and homeless people must work together to address the issue. As a result, this study will be helpful to generate relevant data that may guide policymakers in designing solutions for this underserved group of people. Objectives: To explore coping mechanisms and suggestions to stakeholders among women experiencing homelessness in Dire Dawa city, eastern Ethiopia, 2021. Design: A community-based phenomenological qualitative study was conducted at Dire Dawa city. Methods: Data were collected from women experiencing homelessness and key informants through focus group discussion and in-depth interviews using a semi-structured tool. A total of 31 women experiencing homelessness (13 in-depth interviews and 3 focus group discussion with 6 participants in each) and 2 key informants participated in this study. Data were analyzed thematically using computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software Atlas.ti 7. The thematic analysis follows six steps: familiarization, coding, generating themes, reviewing themes, naming themes, and writing up. Results: Two major themes were driven: coping mechanisms and suggestions to stakeholders. There are three subthemes under the coping mechanism (begging, survival sex, and child prostitution) while there are a total of seven subthemes under suggestions to stakeholders (integration and collaboration, special attention to children, family education, shelter and job, schooling, sexual education, and addiction rehabilitation). Conclusion: Child prostitution and survival sex are a very common coping mechanism which is practiced by women experiencing homelessness. Changing society’s mindset and paying special attention to children is critical. Furthermore, the government and various stakeholders should work together to develop a rehabilitation program for street children who have been exposed to substance use.

Abstract:
<p>Learner deviance is reportedly high in areas transforming from a rural to semi-urban setup. In Murambinda growth deviant activities were reportedly on the rise with learners involved in prostitution, drug and alcohol abuse, truancy, teenage pregnancy, hate speech, pornography viewing, careless talk and many more appear to be on the rise. The Functionalist perspective was used to explore learner deviance and Robert K. Merton’s structural strain theory provided analytical tools to explore sociocultural structures that generate such learner deviance within Murambinda growth point. A case study approach was employed focusing on two secondary schools in the growth point. Data was gathered using interviews and observations to a sample of 20 teachers, 40 learners and ten parents. The major findings were that despite positive factors brought about by the establishment of the growth point, deviant activities that impede learning are on the rise. The imbalance, between cultural goals and structurally available means lead some learners into deviant behavior. The researcher recommended that similar studies should be carried out among schools in growth points in order to improve behavior and pass rate of secondary school learners in growth points. Policies should also look into remedying the situation.</p>

Abstract:
Lukas Moodysson is both an author and filmmaker, and since his debut, his work demonstrates a strong humanistic pathos and portrays power and love. This article focuses on Moodysson's three films Fucking Åmål, Tillsammans and Lilja 4-ever. An analysis of these films shows how Moodysson questions gender structures, hegemonic masculinity and quest for power. He examines the basic conditions of society and scrutinizes symbolic systems. The critique of human exploitation becomes progressively stronger in each film, and they can be understood as a reflexive process that sheds light on the problems of masculinity. In Lilja 4-ever, Moodysson launches a fundamental attack against prostitution and trafficking. The protagonists in Moodysson's films are teenage girls on the verge of adulthood. Through these girls, Moodysson delineates a zone which is not completely exploited by patriarchal logic. Taking as a starting point what Cecilia Sjöholm has called "the Antigone complex" (in response to Freud's "Oedipus complex"), this article reveals how the film's protagonists are faced with ethical and moral choices. The unique relationship between brother and sister is emphasized in the same way as in Sophocles drama Antigone. Against an oppressive economy of desire, Moodysson poses a matriarchal principle and the utopia of a liberated domain.

Abstract:
Rohingya refugee women and girls are from a vulnerable society taking shelter in Bangladesh for humanitarian assistance following the serious human rights violations in Myanmar. They are facing a number of challenges such as insecurity, violence, very limited freedom of movement or ability to speak up and influence decisions in their communities. They are most vulnerable to exploitation due to inadequate basic living facilities in the camp causing them to be physically or sexually abused, forced prostitution and human trafficking. Gender-based violence, abandonment by their husbands in the camps, early marriage, teenage pregnancies including lack of safer pregnancy and childbirth are all important issues and challenges faced by them. Access to basic amenities and educational opportunities with special attention about sexual and reproductive health including issues such as gender equality, relationships and conflict management and adequate community health care can help the Rohingya women to overcome the situation. Actually, the word “Rohingya” derived from the people who exist in from the British rule of the medieval period in the current “Rakhine” state, formerly known as “Roshang” later turned into “Rohang” due to colloquial usage. Although officially Myanmar is not using the term “Rohingya” as this might potentially endorse their indigenous origin, an international involvement is obligatory to find a solution for sustainable return of Rohingya refugees to Myanmar.International Journal of Human and Health Sciences Vol. 05 No. 02 April’21 Page: 163-170

Abstract:
Teenagers hardly want to speak their thoughts, making it is hard for adults to understand them. The major concern in China is with teen involvement in underage drinking, smoking, and prostitution. This has also caused teenagers to have terrible mental health situations as they are exposed to the internet where they can access any information. In China, there is a new movement called the Bai lan movement which directly translates to letting it rot and not participate in society at all. Chinese teenagers have picked up this trend too. Therefore, this paper proposes for people who have been through smoking and drinking addiction, prostitution, and depression to come present at schools to tell their story because teenagers do not want to listen to lectures. They simply do not care. These presenters will be revealing stories about their life to inspire the teenagers to transition out of the I dont care mindset to truly solve the root issue. Teen prostitution occurs usually in rural areas, so the program will be collaborating with a local law firm to teach rural teenagers about their own rights, preventing them from vulnerably sharing their information online.

This study aims to analyze how the law is enforced for victims of trafficking in persons used as perpetrators of prostitution in the Cianjur Regency. The method used in this research is using a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytic approach. The source of data in this study is using the interview instrument. The research object is focused on Cianjur Regency, which is divided into Sukanagara District, Cianjur District, Cipanas District, and several commercial places such as tourist attractions, entertainment venues, universities, and high schools in the Cianjur Regency area. This article concludes that various reasons and social conditions encourage the increasing number of prostitution in the Cianjur Regency area. Different unique findings were found in the research process. First, a high-paying job offer mode is quite successful in attracting certain regions. Second, sexual harassment issues made some teenagers decide to go deeper into the prostitution circle. Third, the number of foreign tourists from certain countries is the main attraction in the increasing cases of prostitution in one of the research object areas. The increase in cases of prostitution that continues to grow requires special attention from various parties, especially in the eyes of the law for the perpetrators. As time goes by, prostitution cases that continue to be left unchecked will become a significant factor in the deteriorating morals and social values that exist in society. The absence of a clear legal status for prostitution will increasingly make the perpetrators freely carry out their crimes

Abstract:
The study investigated ‘Family Pressure, Peer Influence, and Teenager’s Involvement in Prostitution’. The study area was Delta State. The target population for the study was teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18 found in some brothels, on the street at night, and in guest houses involved in prostitution as a way of surviving a hard time. The sample size is 120 teenagers. The questionnaire was developed by the researcher and validated by experts in the field of measurement and evaluation. Both instruments have a reliability of 0.78 and 0.85, respectively. An in-depth interview was conducted with six respondents; this was made possible by the participant observation method adopted by the research. A photograph was taken. A semi-structured interview guide was used for the IDI. The researcher transcribed the data acquired from the in-depth interviews through the use of a recording device, and they were compared with the notes taken by the note-taker during the meetings. Both the transcribed tapes and the field notes were utilized for data analysis. Simple regression was used to test the first two hypotheses, and multiple regression was used to analyzing the last hypothesis, as well as content analysis for the In-depth interview. Findings from the study revealed that peer influences are a major variable that propels teenagers into prostitution, and a lack of economic power has put strains on parents to send their girl child to the city in the name of searching for green pasture, who end up becoming prostitutes. A recommendation was made that parents should take full responsibility for the upbringing of their children and should desist from giving their children economic favors from friends and relatives. In most cases, such children end up becoming prostitutes and armed robbers.

Abstract:
Gowok is a cultural tradition that ever existed in Banyumas. This tradition aims to provide understanding, education, and training for a boy who is about to become a teenager or is about to enter the stage of marriage, by a woman who will act as his partner, so that when the boy gets married he can provide physical and spiritual support for his wife. The lack of information about the Gowok cultural tradition makes the construction of the social reality of the community towards the tradition to be bad and negative. Some even think that the Gowok cultural tradition is hidden prostitution. This assumption needs to be straightened out again because it is not entirely true. There are several significant differences between the Gowok cultural tradition and prostitution. This study uses historical research methods with qualitative analysis which is based on literary literacy research and Sin Po newspaper documents in 1941. This study shows that the Gowok cultural tradition experiences misperceptions that continue to mean decadence and ultimately lead to a logical fallacy.Keyword: Gowok, Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk, local wisdom, prostitution, logical fallacy

The condition of the child prostitution in Medan City has become apprehensive where many children aged 14-17 are involved in the prostitution business. Their involvement tends to be due to the factor of deception committed by collectors who work as collectors and suppliers of children to the prostitution places. This crime was committed in an organized manner as evidenced by the existence of syndicates that collaborated, ranging from child collectors and suppliers (collectors) and those who accommodate and employ children as the prostitutes (pimps / pimps), with recruitment areas covering malls, plazas, suburban areas, as well as other entertainment centers, which are generally the place where teenagers hang out.In conclusion, the factors that cause organized crime against the child prostitution in Medan are environmental factors (there is good interaction and communication between them, both those from the same environment and those from different environments), economic factors and unemployment and which is very dominant is the psychological factor. Abstract:
The occurrence of criminal acts of prostitution and immoral acts in the city of Jambi is currently widespread. This can also be proven by the existence of cases of prostitution at OYO accommodation located in the city of Jambi. Even though there is Jambi City Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2014 on the Eradication of Prostitution and Immoral Acts, in reality there is still prostitution in the city of Jambi even though the local area has been closed. The aim of this research is to understand and analyze the factors that influence people to commit prostitution and immoral acts in Jambi City, obstacles in implementing the effectiveness of Jambi City Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2014 in Eradicating Prostitution and Immoral Acts in the Jambi City area and efforts to overcome obstacles in reducing the number of prostitution and immoral acts in the Jambi city area. The research method is an empirical juridical research type with a legal sociology approach and uses data sources, namely primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. The sampling technique was purposeful sampling and data collection techniques were carried out using interviews and document studies and data analysis was carried out using qualitative analysis. The results of his research are that the factors that influence people to commit prostitution and immoral acts in Jambi City are economic and lifestyle factors, a profitable prostitution business, teenagers having broken home family backgrounds and joining the wrong social groups, the existence of hotels and nightclubs or club. The obstacle in carrying out the effectiveness of Jambi City Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2014 in Eradicating Prostitution and Immoral Acts in the Jambi city area is that criminal sanctions are categorized as light and not as a coercive tool to ensnare perpetrators of prostitution, there is no special authority for the police to carry out criminal sanctions in the Regional Regulation. , there was a leak of information during the raid, the condition of the Youth and Women's Social Home in Talang Bakung was still worrying as it could become a rehabilitation place for prostitutes, there was resistance from the community around the prostitution localization to close the prostitution localization, there was foreign culture coming in such as promiscuity. An effort to overcome obstacles in reducing the number of prostitution and immoral acts in the Jambi city area is that the Jambi City Government closes down the localization of prostitution in the city of Jambi, then carries out socialization of Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2014 to the people of Jambi city, the Jambi city government and the Jambi City Civil Service Police Unit. coordinating with the TNI and Polri in carrying out raids as well as the role of the community or parents in supervising their children when using cellphones.

The development of increasingly advanced technology has caused the practice of prostitution to also develop, from what was originally on the side of the road to now through various media on the internet, especially social media. There is a lot of misuse of social media, which is used as a means to sell oneself or practice prostitution because it is felt to be safer, and user privacy can also be maintained. This research aims to find out what factors can cause a child to engage in prostitution and how the local police will handle it if a child engages in prostitution. The victims of prostitution are minors who are 16 years old and are still in junior high school. Based on the marriage law in Indonesia, the legal age for marriage is 19 years old, so if an adult has sexual relations with a child, he is considered to have committed rape even though he has obtained the child's consent. The handling of child cases is, of course, different from handling adult cases. In this case, three people were entangled, namely the pimp, the service user and the boarding house provider. The article that applies to the owner of the boarding house is Article 296 of the Criminal Code because he can be said to be a person who facilitates obscenity. Then pimps and service users involved in the case are subject to Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning changes to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection because they are considered to place, allow, do, order to do, or participate in economic or sexual exploitation of children. 35 of 2014 concerning changes to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection because they are considered to place, allow, do, order to do, or participate in economic or sexual exploitation of children. 35 of 2014 concerning changes to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection because they are considered to place, allow, do, order to do, or participate in economic or sexual exploitation of children.

Abstract:
Abstract.GENDER VIOLENCE AGAINST GIRLS AND ADOLESCENTS IN SANTO DOMINGO (DOMINICAN REPUBLIC).The present work deals with the phenomenon of sexual abuse against both child and teenage girls in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) through a field study. The sample was obtained from a shelter where, in a temporary internment regime, either victims of sexual abuse, prostitution, sexual exploitation or simply people with lack of resources, lack of protection and / or helplessness are hosted. Specifically, we looked for analyzing this phenomenon from a gender perspective through a case study. The information was broken down into several units of study, using an inductive category analysis. The units of analysis examined make reference to the social and family context of the minors, to the knowledge of the gender equality that they possess, to the weight of the male chauvinism beliefs, etc. The cases studied show a structured society based on gender and, in this sense, also the families –mostly unstructured– follow a strength patriarchal hierarchy that legitimizes the different forms of violence against women and does not seem to clarify the incestuous barriers between relatives of the opposite sex. In addition, the prevailing masculinity sentiment is coupled with gender inequalities concerning the labor and professional areas. This produces a false empowerment, felt by the girls who try to obtain through their bodies, in a society that treat them as an object, a supplier man, what contributes to reinforce, maintain and perpetuate these practices. In this sense, it was verified how the sexual abuse is an expression of the machismo. The relevance of such a conclusion lies in how the great intensity with which the population lives the strict gender roles and their corresponding male chauvinism beliefs is detrimental for both genders. Keywords: Gender, Gender violence, Male domination, Violence against womenResumen.

Abstract:
Social changes in Kyrgyzstan have exacerbated such social problems as poverty, crime, ethnic conflicts, unemployment, and other negative social phenomena. Delinquent phenomena are unique and are the subject of special discussion during the period of transformation. Delinquent behavior of teenagers has a negative impact on the development of society. Changes in society create not only positive, but also negative phenomena in human and family relations. Various social pathologies (drug addiction, prostitution, alcoholism, etc.), criminalization of the social sphere, and other negative trends in its development represent a serious problem for sociological science. In 2020, the authors conducted an online sociological study (through Google Forms) with the participation of schoolchildren aged 14 to 17 years old. The geographic coverage of the survey included the city of Osh; 400 schoolchildren from two secondary schools took part in the survey. According to the results of the study, one of the main problems that parents face when raising teenagers is insufficient attention to children from parents. The main reasons for the delinquent behavior of adolescents, according to the respondents, are stressful life situations, an unfavorable situation in the family, and increased excitability, inability to control oneself.

Abstract:
In this paper, we explore third parties who unexpectedly fell within the legal definition of a sex trafficker. The anti-trafficking lobby and media stories frequently portray traffickers as organised, psychopathic, violent, and child kidnappers. We dismantle these depictions by showing the unexpected people who qualify as traffickers. This paper incorporates findings from two studies involving eighty-five third parties in New York City and forty-nine in Chicago. We analyse how teenagers, drivers, and boyfriends qualify as traffickers under US law. We find that two-thirds of them hold inaccurate views about the difference between sex trafficking and facilitating prostitution. Trafficking can be incidental or temporary, and traffickers in these samples were often oblivious to their legal status, potentially resulting in lengthy prison sentences. We conclude by calling for differential sentencing based on traffickers’ age, and awareness campaigns designed to alert third parties of the legal distinctions between pandering and sex trafficking.
