Abstract:
Innovation can be the key element of a company, yet it is dependent on business resources. The relationship between innovation and performance is addressed by several authors who advocate this theme as a driver to solve problems at the business level and subsequently improve performance. Innovation is essentially under great uncertainty, but little information exists about innovation in developing countries. The present research aims to add knowledge about innovation in developing countries, analyzing whether innovation improves business performance (influenced by technology). Thus, the research question is: What is the relationship between innovation and performance in companies? These hypotheses are related to a specific objective: to identify the factors that improve the company’s performance. Using secondary data obtained by the World Bank, and seeking to make known developments in innovation and the relationship with technology and performance in developing countries, the correlation of several variables was worked out in a first approach to the theme through an analysis factorial. It is concluded that there is no positive relationship between performance and innovation in developing countries.

Abstract:
a tendency to reduce number of operations by their association carries technical, environmental as well as economic aspects. Technical and environmental features are apparent and can be described with couple of quite logic positive effects and consequences. It is rather difficult to exactly identify economic proceeds that must especially be seen in producer’s final perception (net margin). Methodology of net margin calculation is complicated and sometimes not fully transparent. A new (proper) methodological approach has been conceived in the concept of ATMP (Agricultural Technology Management Program). The Program is meant to provide the art of work to the extension worker in formulating sound and exact technological advice based upon both the availability of technological information (particularly on machinery sets and agronomic requirements) and rapid economic (costs) calculations. The program demonstrates an attempt to put into practice the concept of “precision technology” based on precision machinery inputs, which reduces machinery input costs. Preceding field survey carried out in August–September 2003 supplied basic data for technologies design and economic calculations. Five different mechanized technologies were conceived as provided with various operations and inputs: (1) classic mechanized technology composed of all necessary soil preparation, seeding, cultivation and harvesting operations; (2) direct sowing as a form of the minimum tillage (no soil preparation operations); (3) classic mechanized technology with farmyard fertilizing, (4) classical mechanized technology with combined cultivation operations; (5) classical mechanized technology with green manure. All technologies have been designed using Czech currency. The economic appropriateness of the respective technologies has been judged according to the main parameters of the crop budget that were selected for export to the comparison table. The parameters included in the comparison table were displayed in chart form. This enabled a better comparison of different parameters of the technologies. The main economic indicators that have been considered are the gross and net margins and own market price per ton of the product.

Abstract:
Ineffective communication behavioral constructs in the workplace that lead to information technology (IT) project failure and in some cases organization failure are increasingly becoming a management concern. Despite this trend, there is little research on the communication behavioral constructs that contribute to IT project failure rates. The purpose of this phenomenological study was to explore the lived experiences of business analysts, programmers, and programmer analysts pertaining to the behavioral constructs associated with effective and ineffective communication. The research questions addressed these behaviors from a conceptual framework based on communication theory, organizational information processing theory, and critical social theory. This framework guided data collection using electronic interviews of a snowball sample of social media participants. Data were coded using open and axial techniques, analyzed for themes and patterns, and member checked to bolster trustworthiness. Findings included 10 communication behavioral constructs that influence communication in IT software development teams. Included in the findings were potential options for improving communication among end users, management, programmers, and other employees. Recommendations to improve communication among stakeholders included involvement of the correct stakeholders, clear project requirements, frequent communication, active listening, and feedback. Other recommendations were stakeholder education and training, and knowledge of goals and processes. Implications for positive social change could be realized by using the findings to improve the way communication is addressed, shared, and implemented to reduce IT project failure for stakeholders.

Abstract:
This thesis examined the influence of mobile digital technology on the brand identity of luxury brands. Specifically it focused on the use of mobile applications by automobile, hotel and beauty brands and compared the perceptions of marketing managers with consumers on how mobile applications influenced luxury brand identity and image. Outcomes of this research included a model to depict the ongoing process between mobile-mediated luxury brand identity and image, and a typology of luxury brand mobile applications listing key features of mobile-mediated luxemosphere. Overall findings suggest that the influence of mobile applications on luxury brand identity has been negative, as their brand image appeared to be degraded, resulting in diminishing the brand identity.

Abstract:
Understanding the organizational culture when studying the information technology is critical as both influence each other on multiple levels. The culture plays an important role in the managerial decision making and directly influences the IT field. Each organization is based on three fundamental pillars: people, processes and technology, and this holistic model is largely accepted and used in modern present-day organizations. Multiple systems that control the organizational performance and which have as a main focus efficiency improvements of the organizational processes (ITIL, ERP, BI) are adopting this model. Understanding the relationships between people, processes and technology leads to identifying the optimal decisions that must be taken in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the organization. Organizational change - the capability to adapt to environmental transformations - is essential in today's world and it is determining the survival capacity of the organization on the market. But the resistance to change is a big obstacle in this process and also in the case of adopting a new information technology that is influenced at the same time also by the political authority, rules and legislation, changes in the dynamic of the population and other factors. That is why we are considering that the relationship between the organizational culture and the way of adopting the IT elements can be analyzed by using the Geert Hofstede's model of dimensions of national culture: power distance index, individualism versus collectivism, masculinity versus femininity, uncertainty avoidance index, long term orientation versus short term normative orientation, indulgence versus restraint.

Abstract:
We examine the innovation and competitiveness of firms, especially with regard to the channels of technology transfer and the nature of innovation activities that influence firm performance in Cambodia's economy. Despite the growing importance of innovation, there has been no empirical analysis of the factors affecting technological and innovative development and the impact that these factors have on firms’ productivity in Cambodia. We use the World Bank Enterprise Survey for Cambodian enterprises for our empirical implementation. The results of the research indicate that overseas linkages that include both upstream and downstream activities could affect productivity growth at both firm and industry levels. We also find that technology and innovation have a positive impact on the productivity of firms in Cambodia.
