Abstract:
Peer-to-peer systems nowadays are widely used because of the scalability and high reliability. File replication and consistency maintenance are widely used techniques to achieve high system performance. These techniques are connected to each other. The connection of these techniques is consistency maintenance is needed in file replication to keep the consistency between a file and the replicas. Traditional file replication and consistency maintenance methods need a high cost. The usage of IRM (Integrated file Replication and Consistency Maintenance inP2P systems) which will achieve high efficiency at a significantly lower cost can be used to solve this problem. IRM reduces redundant file replicas, consistency maintenance overhead, and unnecessary file updates.

Abstract:
Nanoporous materials find widespread application in material upgrading by separation (“molecular sieving”) and catalytic conversion. Mass transfer in these materials is a key phenomenon deciding about their technological performance. This chapter deals with the application of measurement techniques which are able to follow the diffusive fluxes of the guest molecules in such materials over “microscopic” distances, including the pulsed field gradient (PFG) technique of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and the techniques of microimaging by interference microscopy (IFM) and by IR microscopy (IRM). Microscopic measurement is a prerequisite for attaining unbiased information about the elementary steps of mass transfer and about their role within the overall process of technological exploitation. We dedicate this treatise to the memory of our dear and highly esteemed colleague Nicolaas Augustinus Stolwijk, notably in recognition of his manifold activities in the field of diffusion, distinguished by their impressively high standard in connecting the message of various techniques of measurement and in combining them to comprehensive views on quite intricate subjects.

Abstract:

Abstract:
A simple alternative to the conjugate gradient (CG) method is presented; this method is developed as a special case of the more general iterated Ritz method (IRM) for solving a system of linear equations. This novel algorithm is not based on conjugacy; i.e., it is not necessary to maintain overall orthogonalities between various vectors from distant steps. This method is more stable than CG, and restarting techniques are not required. As in CG, only one matrix-vector multiplication is required per step with appropriate transformations. The algorithm is easily explained by energy considerations without appealing to the A-orthogonality in n-dimensional space. Finally, relaxation factor and preconditioning-like techniques can be adopted easily.

Abstract:
The septate uterus is the most common congenital uterine malformation resulting from a resorption defect of the inter-mullerian septum. It is frequently associated with conception abnormalities such as early recurrent spontaneous miscarriage (FCS) and late recurrent miscarriage (FCT) but also with fertility abnormalities, without a clear mechanism. The imaging techniques used to diagnose a septate uterus are based on : Endo-vaginal ultrasound, diagnostic hysteroscopy and IRM pelvic . Surgical treatment is based on septum sectioning which is a minimally invasive surgical technique with low risk of complications. This septal section significantly improves the obstetrical prognosis in women with a desire for pregnancy.

Abstract:
Raman microspectroscopy (RMS) and imaging Raman microscopy (IRM) were used to probe the composition and spatial distribution of chemical phases in Bi(Pb)–Sr–Ca–Cu–O (BSCCO) ceramic superconductor powders and silver-BSCCO composites. The Raman techniques were used to identify various phases, including alkaline earth cuprates, CuO, Bi-2212, Bi-2223, and Pb-containing phases. Changes in the Ca/Sr ratios in (Ca, Sr)2CuO3 phases were distinguished by differences in orientation with respect to polarization of the exciting radiation. Variations were observed in the content and distribution of lead in various phases formed during intermediate stages of the thermal processing of composite conductors. The spatial distribution of the various phases detected in powder and composite conductors was established to a resolution of a few microns by collecting images of the Raman scattering at wavelengths corresponding to the signature peaks of the observed phases. Reference Raman spectra of the major phases observed in the BSCCO system are also reported. The Raman techniques, when combined with complementary techniques, such as x-ray diffraction and electron microscopy, can provide valuable information about the reaction paths and mechanisms of the high temperature BSCCO superconducting ceramics.

Abstract:
Entropy is essential. Entropy is a measure of a system’s molecular disorder or unpredictability, since work is produced by organized molecular motion. Entropy theory offers a profound understanding of the direction of spontaneous change for many commonplace events. A formal definition of a random graph exists. It deals with relational data’s probabilistic and structural properties. The lower-order distribution of an ensemble of attributed graphs may be used to describe the ensemble by considering it to be the results of a random graph. Shannon’s entropy metric is applied to represent a random graph’s variability. A structural or physicochemical characteristic of a molecule or component of a molecule is known as a molecular descriptor. A mathematical correlation between a chemical’s quantitative molecular descriptors and its toxicological endpoint is known as a QSAR model for predictive toxicology. Numerous physicochemical, toxicological, and pharmacological characteristics of chemical substances help to foretell their type and mode of action. Topological indices were developed some 150 years ago as an alternative to the Herculean, and arduous testing is needed to examine these features. This article uses various computational and mathematical techniques to calculate atom–bond connectivity entropy, atom–bond sum connectivity entropy, the newly defined Albertson entropy using the Albertson index, and the IRM entropy using the IRM index. We use the subdivision and line graph of the H3BO3 layer structure, which contains one boron atom and three oxygen atoms to form the chemical boric acid.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Shoulder dislocation reflects a complete loss of contact between the humeral head and the glenoid cavity. It is a frequent pathology and is the most common dislocation in the body. More frequent in young adults with a clear male predominance, which can lead to a socio-professional and sporting handicap. The diagnosis of glenohumeral instability is most often clinical. Standard radiography is sufficient for bone assessment. Arthroscanner and arthro-irm are currently the most effective techniques for confirming the diagnosis, assessing the extent and severity of the lesions, and searching for associated lesions. The treatment is surgical, the LATARJET operation remains the gold standard of treatment of instability of the shoulder. It allows the recovery of joint mobility as well as satisfactory joint stability.
