Esta tese se justifica no âmbito do aprendizado do teatro, mais propriamente no ensino da interpretação teatral. O corpus desta pesquisa é o Sistema Stanislavski, principal método de formação de atores desenvolvido no século XX. A hipótese é a de que em contato direto com os ensinamentos éticos presentes nesse sistema de motivações psicofísicas, o sujeito desenvolve, como condição primaz de sua formação, a capacidade de avaliar, julgar e decidir. A tese parte de conceituações e noções fundamentais da Ética para suscitar uma reflexão sobre comportamentos e ações correntes na prática teatral. Em seguida, ressalta-se a representatividade de Constantin Stanislavski (1863-1938) no cenário teatral do século XX, bem como são expostos seus ensinamentos que preconizam, privilegiam e valorizam um trabalho coletivo eticamente experienciado. A tese levanta e analisa, então, sete princípios éticos defendidos pelo mestre russo, e comenta-lhes a pertinência e vigência no contexto de minhas práticas artísticas e docentes na universidade brasileira. A investigação se inscreve, portanto, em perspectivas práticas e teóricas que foram trabalhadas simultaneamente no decorrer da pesquisa.
ABSTRACT This dissertation addresses aspects of theatrical training, more specifically those related to acting. The corpus of this research is the Stanislavsky System, the main method of actor training developed in the twentieth century. The hypothesis is that, in direct contact with the ethical teachings of this system of psycho-physical motivations, the subject develops, as an essential condition of his/her formation, the ability to evaluate, judge and decide. The thesis draws upon fundamental concepts and notions of Ethics in order to reflect on theatrical practice. Moreover, it emphasizes both the importance of Constantin Stanislavsky (1863-1938) for the theater in the twentieth century and his teachings that advocate, prioritize and value a collective work ethically experienced. The dissertation identifies and then analyzes seven ethical principles defended by the Russian master and calls attention to their pertinence and validity in the context of my artistic and teaching practices within the Brazilian higher education. The investigation is thus inscribed into practical and theoretical perspectives that were interwoven in the research. Key-Words: Theatrical Practice. Stanislavsky. Training in acting. Full textIn the first part of the thesis a comparison is drawn between two metatheatrical plays from the end of the 18th century, Leandro Fernández de Moratín’s La comedia nueva and Sheridan’s The Critic. These plays are examined in the context of the theatrical controversies that took place during the 18th century in England and Spain. In the second part of the thesis the reasons for a disparity are explored; for even though the theatrical situation in both countries is very similar, in Spain the answer to a theatrical scene considered deplorable by the neoclassicists is presented in terms of a “reform”, which is moreover backed by the government. Nothing of the kind happens in England. In this part of the thesis, and starting from some capital critical works and the topics discussed by their authors, I look into the different value, weight or meaning of a few “backdrops” in Spanish and English criticism of the time: patriotism, religion, politics… This brings us to the differences in the historical circumstances of both countries that help to explain the absence of a “theatrical war” in England. Religion, for instance, is one factor that substantially modifies the symmetry of the parallelism that could initially be established between the theatrical polemics that take place in both countries. Owing to the role the Puritans had played in the history of England, virulent attacks on the theatre are slightly suspect there, and neither the Whig administration nor the Hanoverian monarchy considered actively intervening in a theatrical reform. But the Puritans and the middle classes, more prudish in their tastes than the audience of the Restoration, had enough weight to affect the course of the drama by creating an atmosphere out of which the sentimental comedy was born.

Full textO presente relatorio pretende descrever, analisar, e fazer uma reflexão sobre o periodo de estagio I e II realizado na Escola EB1 N.º6 de Vila Real, para a obtenção do grau de Mestre no Mestrado em Ensino de Teatro na Universidade de Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro. Este documento contempla uma fundamentação teorica e pratica, bem como uma analise reflexiva sobre a tematica “O teatro medieval como ferramenta de interiorização dos valores humanos. A Moralidade inglesa anonima Todo-o-Mundo (1495)”. Neste estudo, ambicionamos salientar a importancia de investir nas praticas culturais e artisticas no sistema de ensino, evidenciando os beneficios do teatro no processo criativo e pedagogico da criança. O objetivo central deste trabalho é refletir relativamente sobre as praticas teatrais como ferramenta de interiorização dos valores humanos. Procuramos aliar a pratica a teoria, debruçando-nos sobre estudos relacionados com o teatro, a expressão dramatica, o teatro infantil e com os valores humanos, para podermos compreender que é absolutamente necessario utilizar métodos diferentes quando trabalhamos com um público tão exigente como são as crianças.
This report intends to describe, analyze and to reflect on the probationary period I and II held in “Escola EB1 N.º6 de Vila Real”, for the degree of Master in theater education Master at the University of “Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro”. This document offers a theoretical and practical reasons as well as a reflective analysis on the theme “The medieval theater as internalization tool of human values. The anonymous English Morality Everyman (1495)”. In this study, we aim to emphasize the importance of investing in cultural and artistic practices in the education system, highlighting the benefits of theater in creative and educational process of the children. The central goal of this work is to reflect fairly on theatrical practices as internalization tool of human values. We seek to combine the experience to theory, addressing us about studies related to theater, drama, children's theater and human values, in order to understand that it is absolutely necessary to use different methods when working with an audience as demanding as the children.
