Full textAs empresas frequentemente buscam moldar a evolução das aplicações tecnológicas e estão cada vez mais utilizando chatbots e inteligência artificial para se comunicar com os clientes, resolver dúvidas, problemas de atendimento, procurar informações, comprar produtos e serviços, reservar hotéis, fazer perguntas às empresas, entre outros. Sendo assim, o objetivo desta pesquisa consiste em explorar diferentes variáveis externas e do Modelo TAM para ver se influenciam o consumidor em relação ao uso dos chatbots pelas empresas. Para coletar os dados quantitativos foi realizado um questionário online e 235 respostas foram analisadas com o programa SPSS. De 16 hipóteses, obteve-se 12 hipóteses confirmadas e aceitas, sendo possível afirmar que os consumidores estão dispostos a adotar e utilizar chatbots para se comunicar com as empresas.
Companies often seek to shape the evolution of technology applications and are increasingly using chatbots and artificial intelligence to communicate with customers, solve questions, service issues, look for information, buy products and services, book hotels, ask business questions. Therefore, the objective of this research is to explore different external variables and the Model TAM that influence the consumer in relation to the use of chatbots by companies. To collect the quantitative data, an online questionnaire was performed and 235 responses were analyzed with the SPSS program. Of the 16 hypotheses, 12 hypotheses were confirmed and accepted, and it is possible to affirm that consumers are willing to adopt and use chatbots to communicate with companies.

Full textDengue viruses (DV) are emerging arthropod-borne RNA viruses transmitted to human by Aedes mosquitoes. Infection by any of the Dengue serotype causes symptoms ranging from mild fever to severe Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) and Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS). In recent decades, dengue has emerged as a global human pathogen with half of the world population at risk. Despite of the burden the host-virus interactions at the early stage of infection, which contribute to pathogenesis, remains poorly understood. Our research is focused on studying the molecular details of host-DV interactions and identifying new cellular receptors for DV and other flaviviruses. To this aim, we performed a gain of function screen of a cDNA library bearing 1728 human cDNAs encoding plasma membrane receptors. TIM and TAM family proteins of phosphatidylserine (PtdSer) receptors that mediate clearance of apoptotic cells were identified in the screen as new DV entry factors. We characterized the role of TIM and TAM receptors in DV and other flavivirus's infection. Over expression of TIM and TAM receptors enhanced DV infection in poorly permissive cells. Inhibition of endogenous TIM and TAM expression inhibited DV infection in susceptible cells. TIM and TAM receptors mediated DV entry by a novel mechanism where TIM and TAM receptors recognized viral membrane associated PtdSer. TIM receptors directly interacted with virus-associated PtdSer and TAM receptors did so through TAM ligands, hGas6 and Protein S. Our studies indicate that recognition through PtdSer is a new entry mechanism for DV. This new mode of virus entry unveils how DV and other flaviviruses exploit apoptotic clearance pathway to enter host cells

Full textEsta tesis analiza la posible implementación de los pagos móviles en Chile, aprovechando los últimos avances experimentados por la tecnología en el campo financiero y de los medios de pago. Se parte con el estudio de la situación actual de los pagos móviles en el mundo, al igual que el estado del arte de esta tecnología. También se identifican los factores que han conducido al éxito de su implantación en los distintos países, y se analizan los trabajos existentes sobre el tema. Se realiza un trabajo de campo que da como resultado una equivalencia casi perfecta entre los modelos TAM y EVO. Paralelamente, se obtiene una fórmula útil para el cálculo de las probabilidades de éxito en la implementación de los pagos móviles en cualquier país. La conclusión final es que resulta probable que los pagos móviles se desarrollen con éxito en Chile, pero más lento que en los países más desarrollados.
This thesis analyzes the possible implementation of mobile payments in Chile, taking advantage of the latest advances in technology in the financial field and payment instruments. It starts analyzing the current situation of global mobile payments and the state of the art of this technology. The factors that have led to the successful implementation in the different countries are also identified, and the existing works on the subject are analyzed. The fieldwork done resulted in an almost perfect equivalence between the TAM and EVO models. In parallel, it was developed a new formula for calculating the probability of success of the implementation of mobile payments in any country. In conclusion, the statistical analysis shows that the mobile payments are likely to develop successfully in Chile, but slower in comparison with developed countries.

Full textIn the management domain and, in particular, the strategic management’s stand, mergers and acquisitions are a frequently used tool in order for managers to achieve growth and operational development for their companies, being also a largely and profoundly studied topic by the academic and scientific literature. In this case study, the merger between the Chilean airline LAN and the Brazilian TAM, which gave origin to the Latam Airlines Group, was studied under the strategic management perspective. Being a horizontal integration type of merger, in which TAM was integrated by LAN through an exchange of shares, the fundamental objective of this study was to develop the strategic management tools that make it possible to debate the future strategic options for the TAM brand and to understand what is the impact in its operations. In order to accomplish these broader goals, and according to the case study methodology, pedagogical questions were raised, whose answer rely on the use of the strategic tools and analysis.

This study explores the practicality of using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to interpret the repurchase willingness of users. Using ‘trust’ and ‘corporate image’ as external variables, the study looks into how ‘perceived usefulness’ and ‘perceived ease of use’ of current users affect their willingness to repurchase. This paper adopts the structural equation modeling technique to construct the research model, as well as to evaluate the relationships among these variables. The findings are as follows: 1. While ‘perceived usefulness’ has a significant effect on current users’ willingness to repurchase, ‘perceived ease of use’ does not possess the same obvious effect. Therefore TAM cannot be used to analyze the repurchase willingness of current users; 2. As ‘perceived usefulness’ could affect the repurchase willingness of users, suppliers may heighten current users’ awareness of product usage in order to increase their repurchase willingness; 3. Although ‘perceived ease of use’ does not have a direct impact on the repurchase willingness of current users, it does have a significant effect on ‘perceived usefulness’. Suppliers shall therefore make their products more easy to use, by enhancing information on product instructions or by improving operating procedures. By doing so, ‘perceived usefulness’ can be increased and ‘repurchase willingness’ can be promoted; 4. As ‘corporate image’ and ‘trust’ have a direct effect on the repurchase willingness of current users, suppliers may therefore increase the sense of ‘trust’ and loyalty of current users by reinforcing the development of cooperate image. The urban population and Industries in Taiwan are concentrating and polarizing to the northern and southern metropolitan areas of the island. In the mean time, how to prepare a plan to attract appropriate industries and to motivate private investment into the newtown is becoming the hich we are chasing eagerly. Starting from the analysis of industrial development trend of Taipei Metropolitan Area and the existing situation of industries and potentialities of Tam-Hai newtown, we could discover that the inter-relationship between Tam-Hai newtown industrial inducement and Taipei Metropolitan development is certainly strong. Then, the economic development of Tam-Hai newtown could be defined as: 1. In the aspect of metropolitan functions, Taipei is the managerial center while Tam-Hai plays the role of sharing part of managerial functions. 2. In the aspect of newtown functional arrangement, Tam-Hai is a residential oriented newtown. By adding other complementary functions, its urban structure could be enhanced. 3. In the aspect of urban economic structure, Tam-Hai complies with the metropolitan population and industrial strategy to make the metropolitan population and industry disperse and grow evenly. 4. In the aspect of urban hierachy, Tam-Hai is a satellite city of Taipei. Under the above definitions, the study concludes the proposal as follows: 1. To induce industries reasonably for setting up the integrated industrial structure. 2. To promote the industrial level for upgrading the industrial development. 3. To ensure the industrial scale.

In recent times, people travel on business or for pleasure more often than before. How to communicate efficiently with each other has become an important issue. The rapid develop- -ment of technologies such as e-mail and mobile phone make people communicate easily. However, while communicates getting more and more frequently, how to reduce communi- -cation cost turns into another key point. And we think the best solution is VoIP. This article focuses on examining what factors could influence individual on acceptance of VoIP. Since VoIP is an innovative technology, we use Technology Acceptance Model as a theoretical foundation to explore the acceptance of VoIP. The study also adds what are argued to be key constructs such as Perceived of user number, Personal Self-efficacy, Personal Inno- -vativeness, and System Reliability to be the external variables of TAM. Besides, it considers the Compatibility characteristic select form Innovation Diffusion Theory and Price factor of VoIP. The research analysis is presented in two stages. First, develop a questionnaire which has reliability and validity by pilot test. Second, a web-based questionnaire is designed. We ask users of on-line boards in the communication, computer, and hardware/software. In total, 521 replies were collected and 292 replies are actual users of VoIP. For the purpose, we conduct both Pearson Correlate Coefficient and Path Analysis by statistics software in order to verify the hypotheses. And individual t-test is processed to examine whether any difference between software/hardware VoIP in variables of TAM. There are some interesting findings: 1. A hypothesis: “Personal Self-efficacy positively influences the Personal Useful- -ness of VoIP” is not supported. 2. PU is the main factor influencing BI and Att; Com is the main factor influencing PU; and PNOU is the main factor influencing PEOU. 3. Software/hardware VoIP have difference in Com and SR. In addition, the mean of both variables are hardware VoIP higher than software VoIP. Through testing those hypotheses, we find which personal factors affecting acceptance of VoIP and how worthwhile are they. Hence, we can provide some strategic advices for enterprises as reference and make contribution to the academic circles as possible as we can.

Based on the rapid growing trend of the information system and Internet technology, the development of mobile services increases efficient information immediately. More and more industries utilize new technology. Both airport and airline company have been using innovation and convenient Self-service Technology to instead of traditional services. In order to understand the consumers' behavioral intention about adopting the innovation and environmental product electronic luggage tags by Rimowa in 2016. This study takes the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as basis and combines two additional constructs: personal innovativeness, perceived risk for using electronic luggage tags(perceived risk as an interference variable. A total of 430 questionnaires were delivered on the Internet by convenient sampling and 386 valid questionnaires were collected. This research uses the method of regression analysis to develop a research model. The result suggested that personal innovativeness, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use,attitude were significantly impacted individual’s attitude toward adoption while perceived risk was in moderate relationships to attitude toward adoption.

Literature from the past is that the consumer's perceived ease of use of technology and perceived usefulness will positively affect their use of technology attitude. TV shopping is in the scope of information technology. The purpose of this study is to explore consumer’s TV shopping intention in Taichung with TAM2. This study investigates publics over 18 years old in Taichung , who has watched TV shopping propram before, as the main research objects by questionnaires. There are 460 questionnaires issued in this survey and 456 are recovered , after deducting 13 invalid questionnaires, the result of the questionnaires is valid 443. The results of this study indicate as follows: 1. Subjective norm ,perceived usefulness,and perceived ease of use has a significant positive impact on purchase intention. 2. Subjective norm, image, and perceived ease of use has a significant positive impact on perceived usefulness. 3. Subjective norm has a significant positive impact on the image. Full textAtualmente o Blockchain, ou “protocolo de segurança” é uma tecnologia inovadora que garante a partilha de valor online sem intermédio de terceiros. Por outras palavras, a tecnologia garante uma rede descentralizada e segura, assegurada pela criptografia e outros mecanismos consensuais, criando uma alternativa à confiança em bancos e outros players que atuem sob a economia partilhada. O estudo em causa tenta avaliar o atual “Nível de Conhecimento” na sociedade relativamente à tecnologia, considerado como um ponto fundamental para revelar todo o seu potencial socioeconómico. O mesmo, é baseado numa versão modificada do modelo Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), proposto por Davis (1989), que procura definir relações entre variáveis previamente definidas como: ‘Facilidade de Utilização Percebida’, ‘Utilidade Percebida’ e ‘Risco Percebido’ que preveem a intenção de uso do Blockchain. Isto é, afirmarse- á que um sistema é aceite caso seja visto como seguro, conveniente e útil. Um questionário relativo ao tópico foi partilhado entre uma amostra por conveniência, composta por jovens estudantes e profissionais. Os resultados revelam que cerca de dois terços dos indivíduos que compõem a amostra não estão cientes do tópico em causa. Identificou-se que a variável ‘Risco Percebido’ é aquela que significativamente melhor determina a intenção de uso, sendo que, a análise de regressão revelou relações significativas entre todas as variáveis utilizadas. Implicações académicas e de gestão foram formuladas após a análise dos resultados. Contudo, devido à natureza da TAM e à amostra por conveniência as conclusões gerais sobre a percepção da sociedade relativamente ao Blockchain são limitadas.

This research regards Wii users with resources class schoolchildren as the target. The purpose is to investigate the factors which will resources class schoolchildren use Wii. This research is theoretically based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). According to the literatures, this research join external variables (Norm, perceived enjoyment and self-efficacy) and set up the frame. This research also used questionnaire to survey 30 resources class schoolchildren in nantou elementary school. According to the findings, there are three factors that affect resources class schoolchildren used Wii. The first is a man that importment to himself or classmates. They will use Wii when they feel Wii is safe and useful if somebody they are trust and dependence become to use Wii. The second is they could became happy or not after played Wii. They wii become to use Wii if they feel it could be happy after used. The third is they could use Wii successfully of not. They will use continued when the first used was smoothly. This study regards that both the acceptability and the willing of future usage of resources class schoolchildren are higher than normal people. A conjecture for this is that higher acceptability is induced by the lack of entertainment in everyday life.

This study is to investigate the telecommunication employee using instant message with TAM model and computer slef-efficacy. The data was collected by questionnaire from employee. And all hypothesis were testified and verified so that it find out the influence of the perceived usefulness and perceived ease-of-use,and the attitude toward using and behavioral intention of use and computer self-efficacy are obviously. Electronic tax system is a computerized tax administration system that is especially designed to handle general tax administration from registration, assessment, filing returns and processing of claims and refunds. This study was conducted with the aim to develop a model of factors influencing the intention to use the electronic Value Added return tax refund system of enterprises in Dong Nai tax department and the impact of these factors on the intention to use the system. It provides solutions to encourage enterprises to use when the system is officially deployed. Research scope: in Dong Nai tax department. Study subjects: Enterprises operating in Dong Nai tax department. The aim of this research is to predict the intention of the taxpayer''s interest in using the electronic value added tax refund system through the implementation of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This research takes the taxpayer in Dong Nai tax department as the sample with total of 196 respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) modeling which consists of two stages: the measurement model (measurement model) and the structural model. The research finds that, the perceive ease of use have a significant positive effect on perceived usefulness, attitude, and intention to use electronic value added tax refund system. In addition, the path from perceived usefulness to attitude and to intention are also supported. Finally, the path from attitude to intention is also supported.

Early enterprises measured the products and service quality with customer satisfaction, but actually they found that high customer satisfaction could not represent high customer loyalty. When the enterprise has high customer satisfaction, but the customer loyalty is lower, that will only waste enterprise resources, it is helpless for enterprise's revenue and profit. This research probed into the domestic Tax Accounting Software Service industry's interfered relation between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, this topic’s verification which nobody studied before . For finish this research, I collected and analyzed relevant literature and documents in order to create theory structure of the research. This research uses survey questionnaires to collect the empirical evidence and data. The researching area included Taichung city and Chanhua Countys’ accountant firms. 225 questionnaires were distributed and 143 copies were collected, the returning ratio is 62%. Screening out 4 copies of null and void questionnaires, 139 are valid questionnaires. The valid yield returning ratio is 62%. This research’s statistical analysis used descriptive statistical analysis, relevant analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and two steps regression analysis to exam the research hypotheses. First, perceived cost interfere with the impact on customer loyalty of customer satisfaction of tax accounting software industry; Second, perceived risk interfere with the impact on customer loyalty of customer satisfaction of tax accounting software industry; Third, social influence interfere with the impact on customer loyalty of customer satisfaction of tax accounting software industry. The conclusion of this research proposes the following suggestions: First, the software company should reduce the customer's perceived cost for raising enterprise's competition advantage; Second, the software company should fully find out customer's perceived risk, and convert the handicap into helpful sale ; Third, the software company should weaken the social influence, strengthen the customer relationship management. About the suggestions of the future study: First, expand samples and research target to nationwide; Second, increase other aspects of customer loyalty to study; Third, find out the other variances of interference for customer loyalty ; Fourth, further investigate main aspedts of customer's perceived risk.

The study aims to integrate conformity with TAM model to understand teenager acceptance of on-line shopping. A survey was conducted to empirically test the model. Results indicated that purchase intention and the likelihood of conformity significantly affect teenager acceptance of on-line shopping. However, the effect of the importance of conformity is not significant. In addition, the perceived usefulness is significantly affected by attention to social comparison information (ATSCI) and interpersonal informational influence. Perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and ATSCI are the important factors that influence the intent to accept the online shopping. Also, interpersonal normative influence significantly affects the importance of conformity. Implications for academic and practitioner are also provided.

The progress of the SOC technologies has inspired the requirements of complex circuits. SOC products compete drastically among each other. The time-to-market for each product decides the gain of manufacturers. Hence, how to shorten the design and testing time for SOCs are the most important topics currently. The potential complexity of SOCs results in the difficulty of test, and the long testing time also reduce their competition power among other products. The testing time of a SOC is determined by the total test bandwidth of TAM and the test sequence of cores. High bandwidth TAM provides faster test data access of cores to reduce the total testing time of SOCs, but it also results in high area overhead and thus affects system performance and reduces the yield of chips. Therefore, a good TAM design keeps balance between testing time and area overhead. Besides, different arrangements of core test sequence under the constraint of the total test bandwidth affect the testing time of SOCs significantly. Therefore, how to arrange the appropriate test sequence for cores such that the SOC total test time is minimize is the focus of this thesis. While considering the test scheduling problem of SOCs, several constraints, such as test bandwidth, test resource, and power consumption, must be taken into account. Moreover, the test access architecture used to transport test data between cores and outside world also influence the design of test scheduling. In this thesis, we propose a TAM Switch based test scheduling algorithm for SOCs under the constraint of fixed TAM width. The use of TAM Switch architecture in this thesis is because that it can dynamically reconfigure the test bandwidth of each core during test. The purpose of this thesis is to propose an efficient test scheduling algorithm under the constraint of fixed TAM width to minimize the SOC testing time. And the test structure used in the thesis is TAM Switch architecture. Experimental results show the approach proposed in this thesis is efficiently. Compare to the approach in [4], the proposed approach obtain lower testing time for the most cases in SOC d695 and SOC p93791.

The purpose of this study is to propose the contention that users’ needs contribute to the adoption of new media technology. In addition to the beliefs, attitude and intention given in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), this study explores the impact of needs. The study comprised analysis of 689 valid questionnaires distributed over the Internet, finding that “usefulness” was the primary factor impacting users’ intentions to use the Internet. These findings demonstrate that the practicality of the Internet outweighs the functionality or ease of use for current Internet users, augmenting the body of research on the acceptance of new media technology.

The paper collects two hundred journals on TAM and RFID. In the RFID literature, the paper classifies them with tables, such as applying to various areas, different technologies, and different functions. The paper finds out the factors of RFID acceptance and analyzes if they are the main factors of influencing industries to accept RFID. In the TAM literature, the paper classifies them with tables according to various applications, including exploring different areas, technologies, ways of studying, and uniting other theories. The paper also reviews the evolution of TAM and the study methods of TAM through literatures. The paper discovers the advantages or disadvantages of the models and finds out the important factors of accepting technology. In addition, the paper associates the main factors of RFID acceptance with the important variables of TAM and finds out the mutual factors between RFID and TAM. These are the characteristic of technology, the factor of organization, the expectation of performance, and the advantage of competition. According to the factors, the paper uses TAM to explore the feasibility of implementing RFID or which industry will be suitable for using RFID. The paper proposes four topics.T1:The characteristic of technology will affect the attention of using RFID of industries. T2:The factor of organization will influence the attitude and behavior of adopting RFID of industries. T3:The expectation of performance will affect industries to accept RFID. T4:The advantage of competition will be the important factor for industries to decide to adopt RFID. The paper uses the method of literature study to find out whole factors of influencing RFID acceptance and supplies a complete model of analyzing literatures. The model of studying can promote the value of exploring RFID and will give some opinions for future researchers to study on the thesis. At last, the paper proposes some problems of RFID at present and hopes the future researchers will focus on the problems and look for the ways of solving problems mutually. Let RFID technology more perfect.

Under the flourishing development of information technology, Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) has become an important topic in technology application in recent years. The study discussed how to understand the user’s behaviors by the operation of brainwave games in terms of technology acceptance model, flow experience, sensory control, technology involvement, and innovation. Structural equation was used to measure the causation of the variables and findings are as follows. 1. The Perceived behavioral control in brainwave games has significantly positive influence on usability; 2. The technology involvement in brainwave games has significantly positive influence on intention; 3. Innovativeness no significant influence on intention; 4. The usability in brainwave games has significantly positive influence on flow experience; 5. Flow experience has significantly influence on intention; 6. Perceived Ease of Use has significantly positive influence on intention; 7. Perceived Ease of Use has significantly positive influence on Perceived usefulness; 8. Perceived Ease of Use has no significant influence on intention. Finally, practical meanings and future study directions were suggested according to the findings.

In recent years, the number of travel gradually increased each year, and in Taipei, Taiwan, "the global growth rate of tourists' list, the number of tourists with 14.9% won the first seven. From this, Taiwan is currently the booming tourism industry, bringing opportunities are immeasurable. But the rise around the travel attractions, among them, the loss craze gradually decline, but also relying on innovative services continue to attract crowds of tourist attractions, and the Tourism Bureau in 2015 put forward the wisdom of traveling programs to location-based services combined with a traveling service " the location based service of travel " to attract more travel crowds. Therefore, the location based service of travel using if accepted by the public, and thus lead to the motivation of this study. In this study, Using the extension of the technology acceptation model, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and behavioral intention, added to the external variable personal property, and then discusses user the location based service of travel of their behavior intent of this study to quantify the way, 384 questionnaires parts to SPSS12.0 statistical software were analyzed and discussed. The results show that perceived ease of use on perceived usefulness has a positive correlation, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use is positively related to intent. Personal property section to significant differences in the number of travel days at most. The location based service of travel and then pay for the intended use is not high. Research suggested that the community can use the system to do development or promotion the location based service of travel. Enhance the tourism experience part, likely to attract users to use the location based service of travel. Pay to use towards a low price or free way to increase the number can also be used.
