Abstract:
This research is entitled “Fashion Representation of Taisho-Showa Era in Kaze Tachinu Animation Film by Hayao Miyazaki”. Fashion style transition from wasou to yosou was found in Taisho-Showa Era. This research aims to discover the form, function, and meaning of fashion in the Taisho-Showa era which are depicted in the film. This research used literature study method and the referral method for the data accumulation, descriptive analysis method for data analysis and for analysis results presented with informal method. For the theory, this research used literary anthropology theory by Poyatos (2008), fashion form theory by Pendergast and Tom (2004), fashion function theory by Barnard (1996), and semiotics theory by Barthes (1964). Based on the analysis results, can be seen that fashion’s form that represent in Taisho-Showa era are divided into two category, first is wasou which consists of hakama, haori, kimono, mandarin shirt, obi, shimada, comb, geta, tabi, and zori, and the second one is yosou that consists of men’s suit, stockings, trench coat, men’s hats, short hair for woman, waved hair for woman, clutch purse, patent leather shoes, and high heeled boots. For the fashion’s function that found in this research are 1) protection function; 2) politeness and concealment function; 3) communication function; 4) individualistic expression; 5) social worth or status; 6) economic worth or status; 7) magical-religious condition; and 8) recreational functions. And for the fashion’s meaning in the Taisho-Showa era, in denotation is refers to the form and design of fashion, while the connotation of fashion is formed by the influence of social and cultural values in Japanese society.

Abstract:
Primary-grade children delight in using three-dimensional action books. Why not build on this interest to help them to practice their counting and basic mathematics facts? Action books have movable parts and are often called pop-up or pop-out books, lift-the-flap books, or surprise books. Children lift flaps, pull tabs, slide panels, move wheels, or turn pop-up pages to initiate a three-dimensional movement. Mathematics three-dimensional action books offer skill practice in a helpful and exciting format. Children can add apples that slide into baskets, subtract airplanes that disappear behind lift-flap clouds, count pop-up crabs that crawl on the shore, or move hands on a clock to show when it is lunchtime.

Abstract:
Background:Giant cell arteritis (GCA) is a large-vessel vasculitis characterized by granulomatous T cell- and macrophage infiltration. Granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is present in GCA-affected vessels where it may be involved in skewing of tissue destructive macrophages (1). Furthermore, a recent phase 2 clinical trial demonstrated that GM-CSF receptor blockade was superior to placebo at 26 weeks in GCA. However, the cellular source of GM-CSF in GCA is still unclear. Objectives:As T cells have been identified as a major source of GM-CSF in other immune-mediated diseases such as multiple sclerosis, we investigated whether T cells are GM-CSF producers in GCA patients, both systemically and locally.Methods:GM-CSF production capacity by PMA-stimulated PBMCs from newly diagnosed, untreated GCA patients and HCs (N=10 each) was assessed using flow cytometry. Temporal artery biopsies (TABs, N=5) were immunohistochemically stained for CD3, CD8 and GM-CSF. Colocalization of these markers was assessed with immunofluorescence. Results:Proportions of CD4+ (median GCA=3.1%; HCs=2.76%) and CD8+ (median GCA=5.8%; HCs=5.8%) T cells produced GM-CSF after in vitro stimulation, but no significant differences were found between the groups. Immunofluorescence staining confirmed that CD3+ T cells (both CD8+ and CD8-) were positive for GM-CSF in TABs. Interestingly, GM-CSF positivity in TABs correlated strongly with the extent of CD8+ T-cell infiltration (r=0.74, p<0.01), but not with CD3+ T-cell infiltration (r=0.38, p=0.16).Conclusion:Our data imply that T cells are an important source of GM-CSF in GCA lesions. The correlation of the extent of CD8+ T-cell infiltration with GM-CSF positivity suggests that CD8+ T cells are the major source of local GM-CSF overexpression in tissue.References:[1]W.F. Jiemy, Y. Full text
Abstract:
A shear tab and high-strength bolts are often used to connect a steel H-beam to a column. The design demand and capacity of these elements vary from one standard to the other. To investigate the effect, this study applied a finite element method (FEM) to develop models for two steel moment connections and validated the effectiveness by test data. The connections were characteristic of bolted-web-and-welded-flange details. The FEM models were then used to study the design of shear tabs and high-strength bolts in accordance with the U.S. and Japan standards and compared to the Taiwan practice. The result showed a small difference in the peak loads of the connections. However, the U.S. direct welded flange connection had flange buckling and strength degradation at a relatively smaller drift. The connection had a thinner shear tab and fewer high-strength bolts. The other two connections had very similar design results and loading responses. The increase in shear-tab thickness reduced the stress concentration and fracture potential of the connections. It is, therefore, recommended to design a shear tab with moment capacity greater than the beam web. This will reduce the stress concentration of the base metal surrounding the beam-flange groove welds, increasing the connection ductility.

Abstract:
Background:Giant cell arteritis (GCA) is an inflammatory disease affecting the medium- and large-sized arteries. The pathology of GCA is characterized by an infiltrate of mainly CD4+ T-cells and macrophages. These macrophages release a wide range of inflammatory, tissue destructive and proangiogenic proteins, including YKL-40. Previously, we demonstrated that macrophage populations in the vessel wall of GCA patients are heterogeneous; one such macrophage subset highly expressed CD206 and MMP-9, and was located in or near the media layer. Cancer studies have implicated YKL-40 production by tumor-associated macrophages in various inflammatory and tissue remodeling processes, including angiogenesis. Less is known about the role of YKL-40 in inflammatory diseases such as GCA.Objectives:Our objective was to investigate the cellular source and the pro-angiogenic function of YKL-40 in GCA patients. Methods:For this study we performed immunohistochemistry (IHC) and cell culture experiments. IHC for YKL-40 and CD206 was performed on GCA positive temporal artery biopsies (TABs; n=12) and GCA positive aortas (n=10) of treatment-naive patients. Expression of YKL-40 by macrophages was confirmed by double staining with macrophage transcription factor PU.1. Additionally, the TABs were stained for IL-13Rα2, recently described as the receptor for YKL-40. The effect of skewing signals on YKL-40 production was assessed by cell culture of monocyte-derived macrophages of GCA patients with either M-CSF or GM-CSF (n=8). Subsequently, the supernatant was assayed by ELISA. Finally, the angiogenic potential of YKL-40 was investigated by tube formation experiments using human microvascular endothelial cells (HMVECs).Results:YKL-40 is produced by a distinct subset of macrophages in GCA TABs and aortas, usually located in or near the media (Figure 1 shows representative stainings in consecutive slides of a GCA TAB). We here show YKL-40 to be expressed by CD206+/MMP-9+ macrophages in all GCA TABs and aortas. In vitro, macrophages were found to produce YKL-40 (Figure 2 shows an increasing YKL-40 production during the maturation of monocytes towards macrophages over 8 days of culture). GM-CSF stimulation, which is known to upregulate CD206 expression in macrophages, gave rise to higher YKL-40 production by GCA macrophages, when compared to M-CSF stimulated macrophages from GCA patients (p=0.038). In addition, YKL-40 stimulation of HMVECs induced more tube formation compared to unstimulated HMVECs. Finally, we showed, by IHC, abundant expression of the YKL-40 receptor IL-13Rα2 in TABs of GCA patients.Figure 1Figure 2Conclusion:Taken together, we show here that a distinct subset of macrophages, skewed by GM-CSF and highly positive for CD206, is responsible for the production of YKL-40 in GCA. The results are in line with previous reports demonstrating that CD206 expression distinguishes YKL-40 positive macrophages from YKL-40 negative macrophages (1). Thus, YKL-40 production by CD206+ macrophages may be involved in angiogenesis in GCA tissues, a process important for the continuation of the inflammatory process.References:[1]Bonneh-Barkay, D. et al., 2012. Abstract:
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is strongly committed to stimulating savings culture in the local community by providing financial literacy in financial planning, investments, and budgeting. Inculcating the savings and investment behavior among the people will help materialize one of the elements of Saudi Vision 2030. Tadawul, being the most liquid stock market in the Middle East and North Africa, offers investors the ability to grow their capital with confidence through facilitating trading in different securities such as equities, debt instruments, and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). There is a great scope for investors to invest in the companies listed in Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) due to its strong economic fundamentals. The present study aims to apply the CAPM in Tadawul listed stocks, which will help in understanding the systematic and unsystematic risk associated with stocks, understanding their actual and theoretical return on stocks. The methodology adopted is the analysis of secondary data for all listed stocks in Tadawul using the Bloomberg terminal. The financial valuation includes elements like beta, alpha, correlation and standard deviation, expected return and actual return. The practical value obtained from the study will help investors go for undervalued stocks with lower beta, higher expected annual return, and lower systematic risks. Thus, the result shows the predicting power in KSA market and the scope for long-term investments by the investors to boost their savings and investment behavior and materialize one element of Vision 2030. Abstract:
PT Gunung Marmer Raya (PT GMR), a room and pillar underground marble mining is located about 73 km to the north from Makassar, in Desa Tabo-Tabo, Kecamatan Bungoro, Kabupaten Pangkep. In the mining location, discontinuities are found as joint structure across the production area. The purpose of this service is to make pillar redesign that can improve the stability of underground mine. These activities start with field observation, determining the rock characteristic through sample testing in the laboratory, classifying the rock mass using Q-system method, up to redesigning a form of implementation to increase the stability of the marble underground mine. According to calculation of rock mass classification using Q-System, the recommended buffering is systematic bolting and fiber reinforced sprayed concrete as thick as 5-6 cm with spacing between bolts of 2.2 meters, or systematic bolting without concrete layering with spacing between-bolt 1.8 meter. Joint monitoring, especially on pillars, need to be done routinely so joint movement could be anticipated for progressive movement. The existing dimensions of pillar 5 m x 5 m in length and width is not recommended due to the safety factor is under 1,0 (unstable condition). Based on observation and analytic calculation, for each pillar height of up to 11 meters the pillar is recommended to redesign with length and width 5 m x 9 m for the chain pillar (safety factor around 1.35-1.49); and 5 m x 12 m for barrier pillars (safety factor around 1.58-1.74). Key Words: Underground mining; room and pillar method; Q-system classification system; pillar stability; marble mining.

Abstract:
<p>What collaborative process can teachers offer in order to stimulate their students’ reading of and writing on Shakespeare’s plays? How can new technologies contribute to facilitating the classroom experience? The eZoomBook (eZB) template was designed for teachers to create and share multi-level digital books called “eZoomBooks” that allow readers to access enriched versions of the original, organized according to different tabs related to places mentioned in the original text. A zooming in and out function enables the readers of the eZoomBooks to navigate freely between the original and the enriched tabulated versions. This paper focuses on a pilot study of the methodology using a simplified version of the template. The targeted learners were English as a Second Language engineering students. Our objective is to show that the eZB framework and pedagogical applications are especially appropriate in making a difficult subject easier to teach (giving and correcting group assignments) and learn by providing learners an innovative and motivating approach to reading literature.</p>

Abstract:
Abstract Everyone, from distinguished philosophers to emergent poets, has been to some extent disoriented by the new digital technology and its shimmer of compositional novelty. This article reviews recent studies of the impact of the digital on research into the history of modern and contemporary poetry. Almost all poetry written and circulated today is dependent on digital media, with profound consequences for every aspect of its writing, performance, and reception. I argue that scholars of poetry can benefit from learning more about what constitutes the digital, as material technology, as programming, and as transformative social practice, as well as by studying earlier phases of the rapid transformation of communications technology. I then discuss briefly several recent texts on current digital infrastructure, before surveying some representative recent critical works that draw on insights derived from our digital era to provide new perspectives on the predigital age of poetry. At the heart of this review, essay is extended discussions of Seth Perlow’s The Poem Electric and Todd Tietchen’s Technomodern Poetics, recent books that explore changing concepts of lyric, surveillance, anonymity, and even electricity. In addition, this essay discusses The Bloomsbury Handbook of Electronic Literature, edited by Joseph Tabbi, which has a strong focus on poetics.

In the present poetry the poet speaks about the days which were gone in 1980s those are the beautiful days and how one could live like a butterfly, playing very freely without bothering about time, whether it is day or night, boy or girl, caste or religion ignoring all these one could live amicably with everyone. In those days one could reach schools by bullock carts or cape carts and few on foot from far places with barefoot. In 1980s one could play in the rain with paper boats and making toys with clay and playing with all these toys. In those days one wouldn’t have any kind of attracted gadgets like smart phones or tabs, electronic gadgets so, one could enjoy freely without any hurdles. Here, the poet has expressed, how one could enjoyed during the summer at grand mother’s home and what kind of games were played, how one could chase the wild rabbits and bores during the summer days at orange grove and what kind of drinks were taken to quench thirst at chasing time and so on. In those days one could pray for the God for others too because people were very affectionated and lovable. That is why, the poet wishes to get back those beautiful childhood days once again. Because the present generation does not have all the above said things and it is like a mechanical or robotic life what they have been having.

Abstract:
This discussion reveals about sanad in the fiqh knowledge of Shaykh Muhammad Mahfuzh al-Termasi (1285-1338 AH/1864-1917 AD), one of the Nusantara (Indonesia) scholars from Java land, whose name is very fragrant and popular in the Middle East region, especially in the Mecca city. This theme is discussed with the aim to uncover something behind the veil of his name. This study is derived from his monumental work in the field of sanad entitled "Hidayah al-Mustafid li Ma ‘Ala al Asanid." After carefully carried out it was found that Shaykh Muhammad Mahfuzh al-Termasi has sanad authority in the fiqh knowledge and the other knowledges. Every fiqh knowledge he studied and fiqh books that he read to his teachers he was given a diploma accompanied by a sanad that continued to fiqh scholars and authors of fiqh books. Thus, the predicate "fuqaha" that has been attributed to him, not because only his profound mastery of the material knowledge of fiqh, but also because sanad authority that he holds in this knowledge, so he became a representative fuqaha for Muslims, especially among Shafi'i school.

Abstract:
Background:Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA) is an inflammatory disease of large and medium vessels. In GCA, expression of interleukin-6 (IL-6), a systemic marker of inflammation, is elevated and it has been shown that treatment with IL-6 receptor blockade (Tocilizumab) is beneficial for GCA patients.1To investigate the role of the IL-6 signaling pathway in GCA pathogenesis in more depth, we focused on the metabolic enzyme Pyruvate Kinase M2 (PKM2). PKM2 may exist as a tetramer, a dimer and/or a monomer in the cell. Tetrameric PKM2 acts as a glycolytic enzyme and catalyzes the last steps of glycolysis by converting phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) to pyruvate and ATP. On the other hand, dimeric PKM2 translocates to the nucleus and mediates gene regulation via its non-canonical protein kinase activity. Dimeric PKM2 regulates hypoxia, IL-1β expression and, phosphorylates signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) which functions downstream of the IL-6 signaling pathway.2Objectives:To investigate the role of PKM2 in GCA diagnosis and pathogenesis. Methods:Immunohistochemical staining for PKM2 was performed on inflamed (n=8) and non-inflamed (n=4) temporal artery biopsies (TAB) from GCA patients and on TAB from non-GCA (n=9) patients. To detect soluble, dimeric PKM2 in plasma commercially available dimeric PKM2 specific ELISA kit was used. To determine the modulation of dimeric PKM2 by treatment, samples of GCA patients at baseline (n=44), at 6 weeks (n=32) and at 1 year (n=31) after treatment were compared to samples from age- and sex-matched healthy controls (HC, n=45) As a positive control, samples from melanoma patients (n =8) were used. To investigate the role of dimeric PKM2 in the pathogenesis of GCA, we correlated PKM2 plasma levels with markers of inflammation (CRP, IL-6) and markers of angiogenesis (Angpt2, VEGF, YKL40). Statistical analysis included the Mann-Whitney U test for comparing different groups while the Wilcoxon rank test was used for paired samples. Correlations were assessed by Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient. Results:High expression of PKM2 was found in inflamed and non-inflamed TABs of GCA patients, while in non-GCA TABs PKM2 was sparsely expressed. Circulating levels of dimeric PKM2 were found elevated in melanoma and in GCA patients at baseline/active disease compared to those in healthy controls. Analysis of 6 weeks and 1 year follow up plasma samples showed that plasma levels of dimeric PKM2 significantly decreased upon treatment. Dimeric PKM2 weakly correlated with CRP at baseline (r=0.399, p=0.048) but not with angiogenesis markers. Conclusion:Dimeric PKM2 plasma levels were found elevated in GCA patients at baseline. PKM2 plasma levels were down modulated by treatment. PKM2 plasma levels weakly correlated with inflammation marker CRP. The data suggest that PKM2 as a marker of glycolysis may have relevance in GCA at diagnosis and for monitoring disease activity. Future studies should aim to validate PKM2 in an independent cohort. Additional studies are needed to determine the molecular mechanism underlying the increase in elevated dimeric PKM2 levels and how this may contribute to IL-6 signaling.References:[1]Samson M, Corbera-Bellalta M, Audia S, Planas-Rigol E, Martin L, Cid MC, Bonnotte B. Abstract: This article scrutinize the habits of '(Nahd}iyyi>n) people in Gadingmangu Village, Perak District, Jombang Regency, related to the meaning of h}adi>th. Besides the NU community, LDII people who have more or less different points of view in the study of h}adith in this area. Consequesntly, Nahd} iyyi> n community in this region has considerable responsibility in delivering hadith studies to their next generation. This studyindicsted that in the way to declare hadith, the people of Nahd}iyyi>n are accustomed to mention the first narrator / final sanad, the narrator of the h}adi>th (Rasu> l Alla> h), and matn of hadith in Arabic speaking or even only with translations from matn. They frequently refer to the statement "al-h}adi>th aw kama> qa>l". Furthermore, the declaration of hadith is often derived from the books of fiqh and it isn’t from the books of hadith. In terms of the understanding of h}adi>th, Nahd} iyyi> n people are accustomed to starting by explaining the meaning of vocabulary, followed by the meaning of short sentences. The translation of the matn of hadith is mostly done by the tafsi tarjamat model> riyyah. The content of the hadith is briefly explained, then the related verses of the Qur'an and other h}adi>th are referred. The sharh} al-h} adi are rarely used> th in understanding the hadit, and i’s usage is directed as a reinforcement of ta'bi> r. It is occurred due to the limited knowledge of the community regarding the hadith and their belief in the books of the ulama '.

Abstract:
Abstract. The article presents the results of developing the structure of databases of internal financial monitoring of economic agents in the form of a data scheme taking into account the entities, their attributes, key fields, and relationships, as well as the structure of units of regulatory information required for basic monitoring procedures based on internal and external sources. The block diagram of the financial monitoring databases, formed in the modern BPMN 2.0 notation using the Bizagi Studio software product on the basis of internal normative and reference documents, consists of tables containing information on: the client's financial monitoring questionnaire; list of risky clients according to the system of economic agent; the list of clients for which there are court rulings and financial transactions which may contain signs of risk; list of PEP clients of the economic agent; list of clients for which there is a share of state ownership (PSP); list of prohibited industries; reference books (type of financial transactions; features of financial transactions of mandatory financial monitoring; features of financial transactions of internal financial monitoring; identity document; type of subject of primary financial monitoring; type of notification; legal status of transaction participant; type of person who related to the financial transaction; the presence of permission to provide information; signs of financial transaction; regions of Ukraine); directory of risk criteria; clients with FATCA status. The scheme of the structure of databases of internal financial monitoring of economic agents using normative and reference information on the basis of external sources is presented by tables containing information on: legal entities, natural persons-entrepreneurs, public formations, public associations, notaries, lawyers of Ukraine; the list of persons related to terrorism and international sanctions, formed by the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine; list of public figures and members of their families; sanctions lists (National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine; Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine; OFAC SDN List — US sanctions list; worldwide sanctions lists; EU sanctions lists); lists of high-risk countries (aggressor state, countries with strategic shortcomings, countries with hostilities, list of the European Commission for countries with weak APC / FT regime, countries with high levels of corruption, self-proclaimed countries, countries with high risk of FT, offshore countries); The First All-Ukrainian Bureau of Credit Histories, which describes the credit history, credit risks of individuals and legal entities in Ukraine (PVBKI); International Bureau of Credit Histories, which describes the credit history of individuals and legal entities of clients of Ukrainian economic agents (MBKI); list of dual-use goods; list of persons with OSH; AntiFraud HUB — information about fraudsters; register of bankruptcies; register of debtors; register of court decisions; database of invalid documents; list of persons hiding from the authorities; register of EP payers; registers of encumbrances on movable and immovable property; data on securities; lustration register; register of arbitration trustees; corruption register; bases of Ukrainian organizations; information on foreign companies. Integrated use of the developed databases based on the proposed schemes will improve the procedures for financial monitoring by economic agents and solve several current problems. Keywords: economic agents, financial monitoring, structural scheme of the database, normative and reference information of internal securement, normative and reference information of external securement. Abstract:
Dear Editor, Ileusis derived from the Greek word 'eileos,' which means twisting, a prevalent and non- prophylactic consequence in major abdominal operations (Jonson &Walsh 2009) that although it is not life threatening, may expose the patients to morbidity (Nimarta&Neena& Gupta 2013). Ileus is a lack of intestinal peristalsis without mechanical obstruction (Jonson &Walsh 2009); it occurs post-operatively, ileus (PI) is a delay in the return of a normal bowel movement, which typically lasts 3-5 days dependent on the location, 0 to 24 hours in the small intestine, 24 to 48 hours in the stomach, and 48 to 72 hours in the colon respectively (Ianey2004)(Rychter&Clavé 2013) The patients diagnosed with this postoperative state, Ileus, are problematic issues that may occur due to an inflammation, deranged neural input, or medications taken in conjunction with the surgery. The patient susceptibility to this postoperative state may occur following a major intra-or extra-abdominal surgery, or manipulations of the intestines during various other a surgeries(Jonson &Walsh 2009). The pathogenesisof Postoperative Ileus (PI) is unknown(Rychter&Clavé 2013). To date, no clear-cut therapy is known for postoperative ileus )(Rychter&Clavé 2013), but several methods are administered to reduce incidence of postoperative ileus (PI). The use of nasogastric suction, early parenteral nutrition, intravenous infusion of fluids, topical anesthesia, reduced use of intravenous narcotics, surgical procedures like laparoscopy which involves minimal intestinal manipulation, in of place a laparotomy, chewing gum, and other medicinal interventions (Jonson &Walsh 2009)( Holt &Kehlet 2000 )(Lubbers &Buurman&Luyer 2010)However, given the various results, the effectiveness of these methods have yet be demonstrated and confirmed (Jonson &Walsh 2009). Avicenna, who wasalso known as Ibn-e-Sina in the western world, lived during year’s 980-1037AD, a famous Iranian physician and philosopher. His journal of medicine “Al-Q?n?nf? al-?ibb [Canon of Medicine]” is Avicenna’s most renowned work. Avicenna’s’ Cannon of Medicine included very transparent and classified summaries of the entire medical knowledge of that time, rather than his clinical experiences and those of the past physicians(Tabei&Riazi 2009)(Turgut&Manduz&Tandogan 2010). Avicenna has been credited for his description and contributions on the etiology of various diseases, his theories and etiology of these diseases along with his documentation of the cures that have led to a series of successful medical treatments of these diseases. Avicenna and other physicians of Iranian traditional medicine had also considered an accumulation of gases (flatus) and secretions in the intestine as one of the reason for PI, but described differently (IbnSina 2005 p.262) Ileus has been purposed in books of traditional medicine under title of “Ilavoos”, while the physicians deemed it as a type of colitis but it differs from this term that colitisaffects the inner lining of the large intestine, which includes the colon and the rectum, while ileus is specific to small intestine and more hazardous than colitis(IbnSina 2005 p. 261). Avicenna has gathered a perfect classification for its symptoms in book “Al-Q?n?nf? al-?ibb [Canon of Medicine]”. However, it seems that what may be purposed as the main cause for ileus in patients post surgically is the accumulation of wind “Riah” in intestines(IbnSina 2005 p.263) wind is a product that is produced due to impact of innate heat (natural heat) of body on a dense substance inside the body. In other words,(your body’s process for breaking down food for energy) the weak innate heat affects on the given dense material, a stream-like heat may be produced, which will be converted into wind upon its’ concentration(Kermani 2008 p.606) According of the theory of the physician in the traditional Iranian medicine, trauma or injury of body (surgical incision) and hemorrhage are is a probable reason for the reduction of this instinctive heat that can be seen among these patients (Ibn Abbas 2009 p.388). In contrast, using narcotics and sedatives or anesthetics are classified as very cold and dense materials in traditional medicine and at the same time, the accumulated secretions in intestines may be purposed as adjunctive materials for producing wind (IbnSina 2005 p.262). An Empty stomach for long periods of time and spiritual stresses may also act as an agent for producing wind in these patients (Jorjani 2009 p.631). This produced wind may create disorders in performance of intestines in two ways. On the one hand, the wind can be accumulated in the body cavities and within limbs., much like the status in which flatus may be seen in the stomach and intestines; and creation of wind in the intestine may be accumulated inside muscular tissues, which will be followed by pain and intestinal atony and paralysis (IbnSina 2005 p.262). With deference to the above statements previously discussed, this hypothesis purposes that one of the causes for postoperative ileus is wind. Therefore, those drugs, which remove the produced dense wind in the digestive system, may contribute to the return of intestinal movement (peristalsis) in the post-surgical patient more quickly following the operation. Additionally, this theory could possibly be used and studied as a new method for prophylactic purpose and treatment of the patient’s postoperative ileus (PI) state. We would like to continue further discussions on the aspects of Persian traditional medicinal treatment of ileus in future articles.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.3126/ijls.v9i5.12709

Abstract:
Islam is the Deen that fits to the man's nature. Allah Almighty sent his various messengers to convey His Commandments to the mankind. For His final Command-ments, Allah Almighty sent Prophet Muhammad (SWA).He also introduced His personalityas a explanatory status in Quran, This act has been mentioned on several occasion in Holy Quran which is fully agreed by the whole Umaah. For this, Holy Quran and hadith share the same importance for the guidance of Muslims. The companions of Rasool (SAW), Tabi’ in, Tabi al- Tabi’in and Muhdseen tried their level best to collect and do rearrangement of the Hadith., according to their potentialMohedseen compiled the collection of Hadith at different places during different time periods. This collection of Hadith is known as Sihah, Sitta in Islamic history. With the passage of time, there are so many controversial personalities who tried to damage the importance of this Islamic castle. Moreover, there came some personalities who didn’t have the command on Hadith and its sciences. They even brought their own changes in this regard. Among such names, Al- Sheikh Nasir ur Din Albani is the one, who challenged the authenticity of SihahSitta and other books of Hadith such as Al- AdabulMufrid and Al TarghebwaTerhaib etc. But Allah Almighty always sent such people who defended the matters related to the authenticity of Haidth. In this very article, Sheikh Al bani , his knowledge, his research and his challenges related to the authenticity of Haidth will be analyzed.

Bukhari selected the authenticity of hadith so thoroughly and carefully that he was nicknamed "tabib al-hadis". His intelligence and a strong concern with science was shown in the classification of a separate chapter on the science in his book. Nevertheless Sahih al-Bukhari, as are the books of other hadith collections, has no theoretical-conceptual content of a theory in a mature and clear way. Is still requires help from other disciplines. And the hadits basically requires interpretation, if one wishes to understand it. Keywords: Science, Hadith and Bukhari.

Abstract:
Powerful texts may have great impacts on the many people who read them. This article examined the biblical allusions found in two Papuan myths and discussed their impacts as seen in the material culture. The books in the Bible that the myths allude to are the Old Testament: Isaiah, Exodus, Genesis, and Deuteronomy and the New Testaments: Luke, John, Mark, and Revelations. The sources suggested that the biblical information might have been heard sporadically by the Sawi/Auyu and the Tabi from earlier Europeans. The formal contacts which brought the Bible, though, came in the 1800s. This means that the impacts of the great biblical stories had not been there long enough to internalize in the people’s lives so as to trigger significant material culture - let alone the highest linguistic diversity. Furthermore, the geographical challenges made it even worse for the people to have to endure the hardship, and made it difficult to obtain healthy, nutritional, and sufficient food sources for the improvement of human resources which would have been necessary for creating significant material culture. Abstract:
Hédelin, Pascale, Robert Barborini, and Katherine Dearlove. The Human Body: Lift the Flap and Learn. Toronto: Owlkids, 2010. Print. This book provides an introduction to the human body and its functions. It is one book in the (so far) three part “Lift the Flap and Learn” series published by Owl Kids. Intended for children aged four and up, the flaps, pull tabs, rotating wheels, and sliding pieces make for an interactive reading experience. Beginning readers will definitely need help with some of the terminology. Some of the tabs were a bit sticky at first, especially the ones manipulating multiple slats, but overall the tabs seem fairly sturdy. The book begins with a simple explanation of how babies are created and born. It then progresses through descriptions and visuals of the muscular, skeletal, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems. The two-page section about the nervous system provides an overview of the brain, but provides limited reference to nerves in the rest of the body. The book also covers the five senses, dental health and sickness. There are messages scattered throughout about how to stay healthy; these messages encourage brushing your teeth, eating well, and getting a good night’s sleep. The cartoon-like illustrations would appeal to children, as the simplified images will not overwhelm them with anatomical detail. There is a good text to image ratio. The text is in a sufficiently large font size, and most images are quite colourful. Some true anatomical names are used. Several have pronunciations indicated in parentheses but others (such as the term bronchial) do not. These terms may pose problems for early readers. In general, this book provides a simple and accurate introduction to the human body. Recommended: 3 out of 4 stars Reviewer: Trish ChatterleyTrish is a Public Services Librarian for the John W. Eremenko, Shannon. "This is My Book! by M. Pett." Deakin Review of Children's Literature 6, no. 4 (April 12, 2017). http://dx.doi.org/10.20361/g2090r.

Full text
Abstract:
Pett, Mark. This is My Book! Knopf Books for Young Readers, 2016. This simple children’s picture book written and illustrated by the self proclaimed “authorstrator”, Mark Pett, conveys a strong message about sharing to its 3-7 year old audience. The pristinely white pages are the backdrops to the author’s instructions on how to create a book. Pett skillfully poses himself as the main character, making it known that he is the boss of this great work of art and solely in charge of how to accomplish his goal. Of utmost importance, under his decree, is that the book itself needs to stay nice and clean, implying that whoever is reading it will look with their eyes and not with their hands. Ironically, this endeavor is virtually impossible when dealing with small children. In the durable pages meant for little hands, the desire for control exhibited by Mr. Pett, the main character, is evident. When he introduces a secondary character, Perfectly Polite Panda, who speaks up immediately professing that he prefers to be called Spike, mild irritation results as he sets out the other rules for creating his book. Unbeknownst to Mr. Pett, Polite Panda shows his creativity by drawing characters Pinky, Joe, Norbert and Squiggly on those pristine walls. As expected, Mr. Pett becomes very upset that his rules are not being followed. It is obvious he doesn’t like to share the spotlight and it is in this moment where Spike’s free-flowing actions start to unravel Mr. Pett’s master plan. The illustrations showcase Mr. Pett’s irritation and frustration which eventually lead to an all out temper tantrum with clenched fists and even jumping up and down. Undoubtedly, every child has felt these emotions and could identify with the main character. Both parents and their children could have fun in a read aloud mimicking, both in tone and action, how silly children and sometimes even adults can sound when they don’t get their way. “Why aren’t you listening to me?!” Mr. Pet pleads almost crying in exasperation while the other characters smile happily at the notion of using pop ups in his book. Providing flaps, pull tabs and pop-ups, much to the dismay of Mr. Pett, Spike gives the audience an opportunity to be interactive with the book itself, a feature many children will love. Experiencing a complete melt-down at the actions of Spike, Mr. Pett finally resolves to listen to him as he explains that the book really isn’t just his in the first place; rather, it’s everyone’s to enjoy and create. There is even a space at the back inviting the audience to practice his or her own creative drawing as well. Similar in messaging as Pett’s earlier work The Girl and The Bicycle, much can be learned from the company of others and a story needn’t contain a lot of words to accomplish this feat. Highly Recommended: 4 out of 4 starsReviewer: Shannon EremenkoShannon is a Grade Six teacher in an Edmonton elementary school who loves to incorporate real life stories to make curriculum come alive in her classroom.
